Economical cascadic multigrid method (ECMG)显示文摘In this paper, an economical cascadic multigrid method is proposed. Compared with the usual cascadic multigrid method developed by Bornemann and Deuflhard, the new one requires less iterations on each level, especially on the coarser grids. Many operations can be saved in the new cascadic multigrid algorithms. The main ingredient is the control of the iteration numbers on the each level to preserve the accuracy without over iterations. The theoretical justification is based on the observations that the error reduction rate of an iteration scheme in terms of the smoothing property is no longer accurate while the iteration number is big enough. A new formulae of the error reduction rate is employed in our new algorithm. Numerical experiments are reported to support our theory.Zhong-ci SHI~1 Xue-jun XU~(1+) Yun-qing HUANG~2 ~1 LSEC,Institute of Computational Mathematics,Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100080,China ~2 Hunan Key Laboratory for Computation and Simulation in Science and Engineering,Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics,Xiangtan University,Xiangtan 411105,China 2007Science China Mathematics2007,50,12:14
Dynamic scheduling model of computing resource based on MAS cooperation mechanism显示文摘Allocation of grid resources aims at improving resource utility and grid application performance. Currently, the algorithms proposed for this purpose do not fit well the autonomic, dynamic, distributive and heterogeneous features of the grid environment. According to MAS (multi-agent system) cooperation mechanism and market bidding game rules, a model of allocating allocation of grid resources based on market economy is introduced to reveal the relationship between supply and demand. This model can make good use of the studying and negotiating ability of consumers’ agent and takes full consideration of the consumer’s behavior, thus rendering the application and allocation of resource of the consumers rational and valid. In the meantime, the utility function of consumer is given; the existence and the uniqueness of Nash equilibrium point in the resource allocation game and the Nash equilibrium solution are discussed. A dynamic game algorithm of allocating grid resources is designed. Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm diminishes effectively the unnecessary latency, improves significantly the smoothness of response time, the ratio of throughput and resource utility, thus rendering the supply and demand of the whole grid resource reasonable and the overall grid load balanceable.JIANG WeiJin1,2, ZHANG LianMei3 & WANG Pu4 1 School of Computer and Electronic Engineering, Hunan University of Commerce, Changsha 410205, China 2 School of Information Engineering, Xiangtan University, Xiangtan 411000, China 3 Electrical Engineering College, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China 4 School of Commerce, Central South University, Changsha 410083, China 2009Science in China(Series F)2009,52,8:11
Determination of paleo-pressure for a natural gas pool formation based on PVT characteristics of fluid inclusions in reservoir rocks——A case study of Upper-Paleozoic deep basin gas trap of the Ordos Basin显示文摘It has been proved to be a difficult problem to determine directly trapping pressure of fluid inclusions. Recently, PVT simulation softwares have been applied to simulating the trapping pressure of petroleum inclusions in reservoir rocks, but the reported methods have many limita- tions in practice. In this paper, a method is suggested to calculating the trapping pressure and temperature of fluid inclusions by combining the isochore equations of a gas-bearing aqueous inclusion with its coeval petroleum inclusions. A case study was conducted by this method for fluid inclusions occurring in the Upper-Paleozoic Shanxi Formation reservoir sandstones from the Ordos Basin. The results show that the trapping pressure of these inclusions ranges from 21 to 32 MPa, which is 6─7 MPa higher than their minimum trapping pressure although the trapping temperature is only 2─3℃ higher than the homogenization temperature. The trapping pressure and temperature of the fluid inclusions decrease from southern area to northern area of the basin. The trapping pressure is obviously lower than the state water pressures when the inclusions formed. These data are consistent with the regional geological and geochemical conditions of the basin when the deep basin gas trap formed.MI Jingkui1,2,XIAO Xianming1,LIU Dehan1,& SHEN Jiagui1 1.State Key Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry,Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Guangzhou 510640,China 2.Institute of Sedimentary Mineral and Resources,Department of Civil Engineering,Xiangtan Polytechnic University,Xiangtan 411201,China 2004Science China Earth Sciences2004,47,6:10

Characteristic atom arranging crystallogphy of alloy phases for Au-Cu system显示文摘In this paper,it is pointed out that the descriptions of alloy phase structures are dependent on structural unit sequence. In the systematic science of alloys(SSA),the alloy phase structures are described by means of the symmetry element sequence combining with characteristic atom sequence. It is named the characteristic atom arranging structure, which can display the characteristic atoms at the lattice sites and the micro-inhomogeneity,besides the symmetry. Each characteristic atom has its own characters:neighboring configuration, potential energy, volume and electronic structure. The micro-inhomogeneity of alloy phases can be described by concentrations and short-range ordered parameters of characteristic atoms. The differences between the electronic structures of alloy phases and electronic structures of characteristic atoms in the alloy phases are also discussed.XIE YouQing1,2,3,LIU XinBi1,2,3,PENG HongJian4,NIE YaoZhuang5,LI XiaoBo6 & LI YanFen1,2,3 1 School of Materials Science and Engineering,Central South University,Changsha 410083,China 2 Powder Metallurgy Research Institute,Central South University,Changsha 410083 China 3 State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy,Central South University,Changsha 410083,China 4 School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Central South University,Changsha 410083,China 5 School of Physical Science and Technique,Central South University,Changsha,410083,China 6 College of Mechanical Engineering,Xiangtan University,Xiangtan 411105,China 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6:8
Calculation and characteristics analysis of blade pitch loads for large scale wind turbines显示文摘Based on the electric pitch system of large scale horizontal-axis wind turbines, the blade pitch loads coming mainly from centrifugal force, aerodynamic force and gravity are analyzed, and the calculation models for them are established in this paper. For illustration,a 1.2 MW wind turbine is introduced as a practical sample, and its blade pitch loads from centrifugal force, aerodynamic force and gravity are calculated and analyzed separately and synthetically. The research results showed that in the process of rotor rotating 360o,the fluctuation of blade pitch loads is similar to cosine curve when the rotor rotational speed,in-flow wind speed and pitch angle are constant.Furthermore, the amplitude of blade pitch load presents quite a difference at a different pitch angle. The ways of calculation for blade pitch loads are of the universality, and are helpful for further research of the individual pitch control system.DAI JuChuan1,2,HU YanPing1,LIU DeShun1,2 & LONG Xin3 1 School of Electromechanical Engineering,Hunan University of Science and Technology,Xiangtan 411201,China 2 College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,Central South University,Changsha 410083,China 3 Hara XEMC Windpower Co.,Ltd.,Xiangtan 411000,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,5:7

Preparation of polystyrene/silica nanocomposites by radical copolymerization of styrene with silica macromonomer显示文摘A two-stage process has been developed to generate the silica-based macromonomer through surface-modification of silica with polymerizable vinyl groups. The silica surfaces were treated with excess 2,4-toluene diisocynate (TDI), after which the residual isocyanate groups were converted into polymerizable vinyl groups by reaction with hydroxypropylacrylate (HPA). Thus, polystyrene/silica nanocomposites were prepared by conventional radical copolymerization of styrene with silica macromonomer. The main effecting factors, such as ratios of styrene to the macromonomer, together with polymerization time on the copolymerization were studied in detail. FTIR, DSC and TGA were utilized to characterize the nanocomposites. Experimental results revealed that the silica nanoparticles act as cross-linking points in the polystytene/silica nanocomposites, and the glass transition temperatures of the nanocomposites are higher than that of the corresponding pure polystyrene. The glass transition temperatures of nanocomposites increased with the increasing of silica contents, which were further ascertained by DSC.OU BaoLi1,2 & LI DuXin2 1 College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan University of Science and Technology, Xiangtan 411201, China 2 State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy, Central South University, Changsha 410083, China 2007Science China Chemistry2007,50,3:6

Preparation of well-defined polystyrene/silica hybrid nanoparticles by ATRP显示文摘Immobilization of the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) macroinitiators at the silica nanoparticle surfaces was achieved through surface modification with excess toluene-2,4-diisocynate (TDI), after which the residual isocyanate groups were converted into ATRP macroinitiators. Structurally well-defined polystyrene chains were grown from the nanoparticle surfaces to yield individual particles composed of a silica core and a well-defined, densely grafted outer polystyrene by ATRP, which was initiated by the as-synthesized silica-based macroinitiator. FTIR, NMR and gel permeation chro-matography (GPC) were used to characterize the polystyrene/silica hybrid particles.OU BaoLi1,2 LI DuXin2 1 College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Hunan University of Science and Technology,Xiangtan 411201, China 2 State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy,Central South University,Changsha 410083, China 2008Science China Chemistry2008,51,1:6

Catalytic reduction of nitric oxide with carbon monoxide on copper-cobalt oxides supported on nano-titanium dioxide显示文摘A series of copper-cobalt oxides supported on nano-titanium dioxide were prepared for the reduction of nitric oxide with carbon monoxide and characterized using techniques such as XRD,BET and TPR.Catalyst CuCoOx/TiO2 with Cu/Co molar ratio of 1/2,CuCo total loading of 30%at the calcination temperature of 350°C formed CuCo2O4 spinel and had the highest activity.NO conversion reached 98.9%at 200°C.Mechanism of the reduction was also investigated,N2O was mainly yielded below 100°C,while N2 was produced instead at higher temperature.O2 was supposed to accelerate the reaction between NOx and CO for its oxidation of NO to give more easily reduced NO2,but the oxidation of CO by O2 to CO2 decreased the speed of the reaction greatly.Either SO2 or H2O had no adverse impact on the activity of NO reduction;however,in the presence of both SO2 and H2O,the catalyst deactivated quickly.CHEN Xia,ZHANG Junfeng,HUANG Yan,TONG Zhiquan,HUANG Ming Department of Environmental Engineering,Xiangtan University,Xiangtan 411105,China 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,9:5

A Class of Fast Algorithms in Real-Time Simulation显示文摘A class of hybrid algorithms of real-time simulation based on evaluation of non-integerstep right-hand side function are presented in this paper. And some results of the convergence and stability of the algorithms are given. Using the class of algorithms, evaluation for the right-hand side function is needed once in every integration-step. Moreover, comparing with the other methods with the same amount of work, their numerical stability regions are larger and the method errors are smaller, and the numerical experiments show that the algorithms are very effective.Zhu Zhenmin & Liu Degui(Beijing Institute of Computer Application and Simulation Technology, 100854, P. 19Remarks on Vanishing Viscosity Limits for the 3D Navier-Stokes Equations with a Slip Boundary Condition显示文摘The authors study vanishing viscosity limits of solutions to the 3-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes system in general smooth domains with curved boundaries for a class of slip boundary conditions. In contrast to the case of flat boundaries, where the uniform convergence in super-norm can be obtained, the asymptotic behavior of viscous solutions for small viscosity depends on the curvature of the boundary in general. It is shown,in particular, that the viscous solution converges to that of the ideal Euler equations in C([0,T];H1(Ω)) provided that the initial vorticity vanishes on the boundary of the domain.Yuelong XIAO1 Zhouping XIN2 1Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics,Xiangtan University,Xiangtan 411105,Hunan,China The Institute of Mathematical Sciences,The Chinese University of Hong Kong,Hong Kong,China.2The Institute of Mathematical Sciences,The Chinese University of Hong Kong,Hong Kong,China. 2011Chinese Annals of Mathematics,Series B2011,32,3:4
