| 1 | Hermite variational implicit surface reconstruction显示文摘We propose a new technique for reconstructing surfaces from a large set of unorganized 3D data points and their associated normal vectors. The surface is represented as the zero level set of an implicit vol-ume model which fits the data points and normal constraints. Compared with variational implicit sur-faces,we make use of surface normal vectors at data points directly in the implicit model and avoid of introducing manufactured off-surface points. Given n surface point/normal pairs,the proposed method only needs to solve an n×n positive definite linear system. It allows fitting large datasets effectively and robustly. | 2 | Expressive line drawings of human faces from range images显示文摘We propose a novel technique to extract features from a range image and use them to produce a 3D pen-and-ink style portrait similar to a traditional artistic drawing. Unlike most previous template-based,component-based or example-based face sketching methods,which work from a frontal photograph as input,our system uses a range image as input. Our method runs in real-time for models of moderate complexity,allowing the pose and drawing style to be modified interactively. Portrait drawing in our system makes use of occluding contours and suggestive contours as the most important shape cues. However,current 3D feature line detection methods require a smooth mesh and cannot be reliably applied directly to noisy range images. We thus present an improved silhouette line detection algorithm. Feature edges related to the significant parts of a face are extracted from the range image,connected,and smoothed,allowing us to construct chains of line paths which can then be rendered as desired. We also incorporate various portrait-drawing principles to provide several simple yet effective non-photorealistic portrait renderers such as a pen-and-ink shader,a hatch shader and a sketch shader. These are able to generate various life-like impressions in different styles from a user-chosen viewpoint. To obtain satisfactory results,we refine rendered output by smoothing changes in line thickness and opacity. We are careful to provide appropriate visual cues to enhance the viewer’s comprehension of the human face. | 6 | Anisotropic resizing and deformation preserving geometric textures显示文摘Model resizing is a useful technique for model reuse. Non-homogeneous model resizing introduced by Kraevoy et al. is able to preserve important geometric features during anisotropic scaling. However, many practical objects contain various geometric textures. Different from similar objects without geometric textures, such objects seem to be extremely difficult for resizing even if the underlying surfaces are relatively simple. In this paper, we present an automatic model resizing method based on geometric texture transfer. Geometric textures are separated from the underlying surfaces and reconstructed on the non-homogenously scaled surfaces using geometric texture synthesis. By utilizing the natural correspondence between the surfaces before and after resizing, surfaces with multiple geometric textures can be resized and geometric texture recovered automatically. Experimental results show that our method effectively and automatically preserves geometric textures during the model resizing process. | 8 | A Real-Time Pedestrian Social Distancing Risk Alert System for COVID-19显示文摘The COVID-19 virus is usually spread by small droplets when talking,coughing and sneezing,so maintaining physical distance between people is necessary to slow the spread of the virus.The World Health Organization(WHO)recommends maintaining a social distance of at least six feet.In this paper,we developed a real-time pedestrian social distance risk alert system for COVID-19,whichmonitors the distance between people in real-time via video streaming and provides risk alerts to the person in charge,thus avoiding the problem of too close social distance between pedestrians in public places.We design a lightweight convolutional neural network architecture to detect the distance between people more accurately.In addition,due to the limitation of camera placement,the previous algorithm based on flat view is not applicable to the social distance calculation for cameras,so we designed and developed a perspective conversion module to reduce the image in the video to a bird’s eye view,which can avoid the error caused by the elevation view and thus provide accurate risk indication to the user.We selected images containing only person labels in theCOCO2017 dataset to train our networkmodel.The experimental results show that our network model achieves 82.3%detection accuracy and performs significantly better than other mainstream network architectures in the three metrics of Recall,Precision and mAP,proving the effectiveness of our system and the efficiency of our technology. | Zhihan Liu Xiang Li Siqi Liu Wei Li Xiangxu Meng Jing Jia | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,10: | 0 |
| 9 | Artemin对胰腺癌细胞系MIA PaCa-2浸润能力的研究(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to analyze the capacity of Artemin promoting the motility and invasiveness of MIA PaCa-2 pancreatic cancer (PAC) cells.Methods:The PAC cell line MIA PaCa-2 was cultured in vitro and studied using Transwell chamber analysis.The motility and invasiveness ability affected by different concentrations of Artemin and its receptor GFRα3 were determined.Expression level of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2),epithelial cadherin (E-cadherin) were quantitative analysis using RT-PCR and Western blot in MIA PaCa-2 cells stimulated with Artemin and receptor GFRα3.Results:MIA PaCa-2 PAC cell motility and invasiveness was significantly increased with Artemin and its receptor GFRα3 increasing concentrations than control (P<0.01).150 ng/mL was the best of both the role of concentration.MMP-2 was increased significantly (t=6.35,t=7.32),while E-cadherin was significantly lower (t=4.27,t=5.61),after affected by the 150 ng/mL Artemin and GFRα3,respectively.The difference was statistically significant compared with the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion:Artemin and its receptor GFRα3 can promote PAC cell motility and invasiveness ability and contribute to the aggressive behavior.The mechanism may be related to increased expression of MMP-2 molecule and E-cadherin down-regulation expression. | Lingxin Meng Yuhua Chi Xiangxu Wang Zhaojun Ding Ling Mou Wen Cui Yingjie Xue | 2012 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2012,11,4: | 0 |

We also introduce a 3D parameter propagation and re-parameterization procedure to construct stroke paths along the 2D brush path to draw coherently stylized feature lines with a wide range of styles.
