1Structural architecture of Neoproterozoic rifting depression groups in the Tarim Basin and their formation dynamics显示文摘The Tarim Basin is the largest, oil-bearing, superimposed basin in the northwest of China. The evolution and tectonic properties of the initial Tarim Basin have been hotly disputed and remain enigmatic. The Neoproterozoic basin is covered by a vast desert and a huge-thickness of sedimentary strata, has experienced multiple tectonic movements, had a low signal to noise ratios(SNRs) of deep seismic reflection data, all of which have posed critical obstacles to research. We analysed four field outcrops, 18 wells distributed throughout the basin, 27 reprocessed seismic reflection profiles with higher SNRs across the basin and many ancillary local 2D and 3D profiles and aeromagnetic data. We found about 20 normal fault-controlled rifting depressions of the Cryogenian and Ediacaran scattered throughout the basin, which developed on the Precambrian metamorphic and crystalline basement. The structural framework is clearly different from that of the overlying Phanerozoic. The rifting depressions consist of mainly half grabens, symmetrical troughs and horst-grabens. From the northeast to southwest of the basin,they are divided into three rifting depression groups with the WNW, ENE, and NW-trends that are mainly controlled by normal faults. The maximum thicknesses of the strata are up to 4100 m. From the Cryogenian to Ediacaran, most of the main inherited faults to active and eventually ceased at the end of the Ediacaran or Early Cambrian, while subsidence centres appeared and migrated eastward along the faults. They revealed that the different parts of the Tarim continental block were in NNE-SSWoriented and NNW-SSE-oriented extensional paleo-stress fields(relative to the present) during the Neoproterozoic, and were accompanied by clockwise shearing. According to the analysis of the activities of syn-sedimentary faults, filling sediments,magmatic events, and coordination with aeromagnetic anomalies, the tectonic properties of the fault depressions are different and are primarily continental rifts or intra-continental fault-controlled basins. 3Continuous-Time Prediction of Industrial Paste Thickener System With Differential ODE-Net显示文摘It is crucial to predict the outputs of a thickening system,including the underflow concentration(UC)and mud pressure,for optimal control of the process.The proliferation of industrial sensors and the availability of thickening-system data make this possible.However,the unique properties of thickening systems,such as the non-linearities,long-time delays,partially observed data,and continuous time evolution pose challenges on building data-driven predictive models.To address the above challenges,we establish an integrated,deep-learning,continuous time network structure that consists of a sequential encoder,a state decoder,and a derivative module to learn the deterministic state space model from thickening systems.Using a case study,we examine our methods with a tailing thickener manufactured by the FLSmidth installed with massive sensors and obtain extensive experimental results.The results demonstrate that the proposed continuous-time model with the sequential encoder achieves better prediction performances than the existing discrete-time models and reduces the negative effects from long time delays by extracting features from historical system trajectories.The proposed method also demonstrates outstanding performances for both short and long term prediction tasks with the two proposed derivative types.Zhaolin Yuan Xiaorui Li Di Wu Xiaojuan Ban Nai-Qi Wu Hong-Ning Dai Hao Wang 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,4:1

6Bearing Fault Diagnosis with DDCNN Based on Intelligent Feature Fusion Strategy in Strong Noise显示文摘Intelligent fault diagnosis in modern mechanical equipment maintenance is increasingly adopting deep learning technology.However,conventional bearing fault diagnosis models often suffer from low accuracy and unstable performance in noisy environments due to their reliance on a single input data.Therefore,this paper proposes a dual-channel convolutional neural network(DDCNN)model that leverages dual data inputs.The DDCNN model introduces two key improvements.Firstly,one of the channels substitutes its convolution with a larger kernel,simplifying the structure while addressing the lack of global information and shallow features.Secondly,the feature layer combines data from different sensors based on their primary and secondary importance,extracting details through small kernel convolution for primary data and obtaining global information through large kernel convolution for secondary data.Extensive experiments conducted on two-bearing fault datasets demonstrate the superiority of the two-channel convolution model,exhibiting high accuracy and robustness even in strong noise environments.Notably,it achieved an impressive 98.84%accuracy at a Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR)of−4 dB,outperforming other advanced convolutional models.Chaoqian He Runfang Hao Kun Yang Zhongyun Yuan Shengbo Sang Xiaorui Wang 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,12:0

8Vertically mounting molybdenum disulfide nanosheets on dimolybdenum carbide nanomeshes enables efficient hydrogen evolution显示文摘Designing hierarchical heterostructure to optimize the adsorption of hydrogen intermediate(H*)is impressive for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalysis.Herein,we show that vertically mounting two-dimensional(2D)layered molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))nanosheets on 2D nonlayered dimolybdenum carbide(Mo_(2)C)nanomeshes to form a hierarchical heterostructure largely accelerates the HER kinetics in acidic electrolyte due to the weakening adsorption strength of H*on 2D Mo_(2)C nanomeshes.Our hierarchical MoS2/Mo2C heterostructure therefore gives a decrease of overpotential for up to 500 mV at-10 mA·cm^(-2)and an almost 200-fold higher kinetics current density compared with the pristine Mo2C nanomeshes and maintains robust stability with a small drop of overpotential for only 16 mV upon 5,000 cycles.We further rationalize this finding by theoretical calculations and find an optimized adsorption free energy of H*,identifying that the MoS_(2)featuring strong H*desorption plays a key role in weakening the strong binding of Mo_(2)C with H*and therefore improves the intrinsic HER activity on active C sites of Mo_(2)C.This present finding shines the light on the rational design of heterostructured catalysts with synergistic geometry.Tingting Wang Pengyan Wang Yajun Pang Yitian Wu Jin Yang Hao Chen Xiaorui Gao Shichun Mu Zongkui Kou 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:0
