| 3 | STING agonist-boosted mRNA immunization via intelligent design of nanovaccines for enhancing cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Messenger RNA(mRNA)vaccine is revolutionizing the methodology of immunization in cancer.However,mRNA immunization is drastically limited by multistage biological barriers including poor lymphatic transport,rapid clearance,catalytic hydrolysis,insufficient cellular entry and endosome entrapment.Herein,we design a mRNA nanovaccine based on intelligent design to overcome these obstacles.Highly efficient nanovaccines are carried out with machine learning techniques from datasets of various nanocarriers,ensuring successful delivery of mRNA antigen and cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate(cGAMP)to targets.It activates stimulator of interferon genes(STING),promotes mRNA-encoded antigen presentation and boosts antitumour immunity in vivo,thus inhibiting tumour growth and ensuring long-term survival of tumour-bearing mice.This work provides a feasible and safe strategy to facilitate STING agonist-synergized mRNA immunization,with great translational potential for enhancing cancer immunotherapy. | Lei Zhou Wenzhe Yi Zehong Zhang Xiaoting Shan Zitong Zhao Xiangshi Sun Jue Wang Hao Wang Hualiang Jiang Mingyue Zheng Dangge Wang Yaping Li | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,10: | 0 |
| 4 | A duplication-free quantum neural network for universal approximation显示文摘Different from the concept of universal computation,the universality of a quantum neural network focuses on the ability to approximate arbitrary functions and is an important guarantee for effectiveness.However,conventional approaches of constructing a universal quantum neural network may result in a huge quantum register that is challenging to implement due to noise on a near-term device.To address this,we propose a simple design of a duplication-free quantum neural network whose universality can be rigorously proven.Specifically,instead of using multiple duplicates of the quantum register,our method relies on a single quantum register combined with multiple activation functions to create nonlinearity and achieve universality.Accordingly,our proposal requires significantly fewer qubits with shallower circuits,and hence substantially reduces the resource overhead and the noise effect.In addition,simulations demonstrate that our universality design is able to achieve a better learning accuracy in the presence of noise,illustrating a great potential in solving larger-scale learning problems on near-term devices. | Xiaokai Hou Guanyu Zhou Qingyu Li Shan Jin Xiaoting Wang | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,7: | 0 |
| 5 | Quantum spectral clustering algorithm for unsupervised learning显示文摘Clustering is one of the most crucial problems in unsupervised learning,and the well-known k-means algorithm can be implemented on a quantum computer with a significant speedup.However,for the clustering problems that cannot be solved using the k-means algorithm,a powerful method called spectral clustering is used.In this study,we propose a circuit design to implement spectral clustering on a quantum processor with substantial speedup by initializing the processor into a maximally entangled state and encoding the data information into an efficiently simulatable Hamiltonian.Compared to the established quantum kmeans algorithms,our method does not require a quantum random access memory or a quantum adiabatic process.It relies on an appropriate embedding of quantum phase estimation into Grover’s search to gain the quantum speedup.Simulations demonstrate that our method effectively solves clustering problems and is an important supplement to quantum k-means algorithm for unsupervised learning. | Qingyu LI Yuhan HUANG Shan JIN Xiaokai HOU Xiaoting WANG | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,10: | 0 |
| 6 | Constructing boronate-bridged core-satellite gold nanoassembly and its application in high sensitive colorimetric detection of benzoyl peroxide residues in food matrices显示文摘Here,a new designed core/satellite gold nanoprobe was developed for detecting trace mount of benzoyl peroxide(BPO) based on its deboronation.This gold nanoassembly(the BE-Au NPs_(12/65)) wa s constructed via borate ester formation between large 4-mercaptophenylboronic acid(MPBA) modified Au NPs(the MPBAAu NPs_(65),as cores) and small dopamine modified AuNPs(the D PA-AuNPs_(12),as satellites).Particularly,upon addition of BPO,it would trigger the deboronation for the BE-AuNPs_(12/65) probes accompanying with distinct color changes from blue,purple to wine red,which implied the disassembly of the core/satellite nanostructure after the breakage of carbon to boron chemical bond.By measuring the absorbance ratio at 665 nm and 545 nm,quantification of BPO was achieved in the range of 10.0-100.0 nmol/L,which could also be easily observed by naked eyes.The nanoprobe utilized a boronate deprotection mechanism and the LSPR properties of Au NPs to provide high selectivity for detecting BPO over similar ROS/RNS with the limit of detection as low as 7.2 nmol/L.The practical applicability of this assay was verified through successful determining BPO in flour samples,which demonstrated its great potentials in food safety field. | Ting Li Jiefang Sun Jinyuan Liu Baolei Dong Huachao Zhao Xiaoting Qiao Wencong Shan Jing Zhang Bing Shao | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,2: | 0 |
| 7 | Thermal simulation of basic volcanic fluid influence on different source rocks显示文摘Based on thermal simulation experiment, interactions between volcanic fluids and source rocks were studied. Gas generations in the dry system and fluid system under different temperatures were analyzed. The results showed that the various types of source rocks are similar in composition, containing gaseous C1-C5 hydrocarbons, H2 and CO2 whose gas yields increase with increasing temperature. The gas yield of source rocks of type is Ⅰ the highest, followed by type Ⅱ, and that of source rocks of type is Ⅲ the lowest, indicating that the yield of hydrocarbon gases is related to their hydrocarbon generating potential. Although the generating potential of type is Ⅲ the lowest, it can still be regarded as a useful gas source when it is buried deeply enough.
