1Structure, evolution and regional tectonic implications of the Queshan metamorphic core complex in eastern Jiaodong Peninsula of China显示文摘The Queshan MCC is an important example of a crustal extensional structure in the eastern Jiaodong Peninsula along the southeastern margin of the NCC in the Early Cretaceous. The MCC is a typical Cordilleran-type core complex with a three-layered structure:(1) the upper plate is constituted by the Cretaceous supradetachment basin and Paleoproterozoic basement;(2) the lower plate comprises the Neoarchean high-grade metamorphic complexes and late Mesozoic granitic intrusions; and(3) the two plates are separated by a master detachment fault. A series of late NEN-oriented brittle faults superimposed on and destructed the early MCC. Petrology, geometry, kinematics, macro- and micro-structures and quartz c-axis fabrics imply that the MCC has a progressive exhumation history from middle-lower to subsurface level(via middle-upper crustal level) under the nearly WNW-ESE regional extensional regime. We present structural and geochronological evidence to constrain the exhumation of the Queshan MCC from ca. 135 to 113 Ma. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the different patterns of extensional structures in the Jiaodong and Liaodong Peninsula, we have defined the Jiao-Liao Early Cretaceou extensional province and further divided the crustal extension of it into two stages: the first stage was the intense flow of the middle-lower crust and the second stage was the extension of the middle-upper crust. 2An efficient rendering method for large vector data on large terrain models显示文摘This paper presents an efficient way to render large-scale vector maps on level-of-detail(LOD) digital elevation models(DEMs).By using the frame buffer and Voronoi diagram,we achieve a rapid simplification of large-scale vector maps while keeping their original topological relationships.With the simplified maps,we establish level-of-detail vector map models.In the detailed level,we use the stencil shadow volume approach to render the map accurately,and in the coarse level we use substitute techniques to render the map approximately yet more quickly.The method proposed in this paper is universally applicable to rendering vector maps on various LOD terrain models,and the overlaying performance is independent of the complexity of underlying terrain surfaces.By use of the view frustum culling and sub-region index techniques,the impact of complexity of vector maps is reduced,and the rendering time is restricted to a certain scope.Thereby,we can achieve seamless and rapid rendering of large-scale vector maps on LOD terrain surfaces.YANG Ling ZHANG LiQiang KANG ZhiZhong XIAO ZhiQiang PENG JunHuan ZHANG XingMing LIU Liu 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6:11
3Enhanced gas separation performance of mixed matrix hollow fiber membranes containing post-functionalized S-MIL-53显示文摘Mixed matrix hollow fiber membranes(MMHFMs)filled with metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have great potential for energy-efficient gas separation processes,but the major hurdle is polymer/MOFs interfacial defects and membrane plasticization.Herein,lab-synthesized MIL-53 was post-functionalized by aminosilane grafting and subsequently incorporated into Ultem~?1000 polymer matrix to fabricate high performance MMHFMs.SEM,DLS,XRD and TGA were performed to characterize silane-modified MIL-53(S-MIL-53)and prepared MMHFMs.Moreover,the effect of MOFs loading was systematically investigated first;then gas separation performance of MMHFMs for pure and mixed gas was evaluated under different pressures.MMHFMs containing post-functionalized S-MIL-53 achieved remarkable gas permeation properties which was better than model predictions.Compared to pure HFMs,CO_2permeance of MMHFM loaded with 15%S-MIL-53 increased by 157%accompanying with 40%increase for CO_2/N_2selectivity,which outperformed the MMHFM filled with naked MIL-53.The pure and mixed gas permeation measurements with elevated feed pressure indicated that incorporation of S-MIL-53 also increased the resistance against CO_2plasticization.This work reveals that post-modified MOFs embedded in MMHFMs facilitate the improvement of gas separation performance and suppression of membrane plasticization.Haitao Zhu Xingming Jie Lina Wang Guodong Kang Dandan Liu Yiming Cao 2018Journal of Energy Chemistry2018,27,3:6
4Near infrared spectral and polarization imaging observation of coronal emission lines during the 2008 total solar eclipse显示文摘During the 2008 total solar eclipse, the coronal emission lines were observed by using optical fibre spectrometric and polarization imaging system in near infrared waveband. The profiles of the coronal emission lines including Fe XIII 10747 , 10798  and He I 10830  were obtained with dispersion of 0.5 /pix. The intensity of Fe XIII 10747  remained unchanged in the two different coronal regions while the intensity of He I 10830  varied considerably in the two coronal locations no matter whether the prominence appeared or not. 6QTL mapping and QTL × environment interaction analysis of multi-seed pod in cultivated peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘To dissect the genetic mechanism of multi-seed pod in peanut, we explored the QTL/gene controlling multi-seed pod and analyzed the interaction effect of QTL and environment. Two hundred and forty eight recombinant inbred lines(RIL) from cross Silihong × Jinonghei 3 were used as experimental materials planted in 8 environments from 2012 to 2017. Three methods of analysis were performed. These included individual environment analysis, joint analysis in multiple environments, and epistatic interaction analysis for multi-seed pod QTL. Phenotypic data and best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP) value of the ratio of multi-seed pods per plant(RMSP) were used for QTL mapping. Seven QTL detected by the individual environmental mapping analysis and were distributed on linkage groups 1, 6, 9, 14, 19(2), and 21. Each QTL explained 4.42%–11.51% of the phenotypic variation in multi-seed pod, and synergistic alleles of5 QTL were from the Silihong parent. One QTL, explaining 4.93% of the phenotypic variation was detected using BLUP data, and this QTL mapped in the same interval as q RMSP19.1 detected in the individual environment analysis. Seventeen additive QTL were identified by joint analysis across multiple environments. A total of 43 epistatic QTL were detected by ICIM-EPI mapping in the multiple environment trials(MET) module, and involved 57 loci. Two main-effect QTL related to multi-seed pod in peanut were filtered. We also found that RMSP had a highly significant positive correlation with pod yield per plant(PY), and epistatic effects were much more important than additive effects. 7Quality evaluation of rubber-to-metal bonded structures based on shearography显示文摘The quality of bonding is often a concern in rubber-to-metal bonded parts with regard to the integrity and stability of the structure. In this study, shearography has been used to detect the out-of-plane deformation of the defects caused by thermal and vacuum stresses. A sample of the vulcanized styrene-butadiene rubber bonded to steel with known artificial voids was prepared and during bonding process a region was glued with thick adhesives. The rubber surface of the sample was inspected in thermal radiation and vacuum modes respectively with a self-designed shearography device. Meanwhile, a numerical simulation was conducted to predict the out-of-plane deformation of the rubber surface in these two stress modes. Results from the numerical simulation and the experiments indicated that the debonding defects could be inspected in both loading modes. In the thermal radiation mode the region with thick adhesives could be identified successfully. 8An improved line-of-sight method for visibility analysis in 3D complex landscapes显示文摘This paper presents an efficient method for implementing visibility analysis on complex landscapes based on an improved LOS (line of sight) algorithm. The method determines the viewshed by analyzing the geometric relationship between the target points and viewpoint. It differentiates the visibility of the target points by the elevation information. Eventually the visual results related to the given viewpoint are rendered on three-dimensional landscapes. The visibility of some target points is computed by comparing their elevations with the viewpoint's height, thus is able to enhance the efficiency of the visibility analysis. This method can not only be applied in the visibility analysis of forest scenes, but also used in the analysis of the urban environment. 9A nonlocal strain gradient shell model incorporating surface effects for vibration analysis of functionally graded cylindrical nanoshells显示文摘In this pap er, a novel size-dep endent functionally graded (FG) cylindrical shell model is develop ed based on the nonlocal strain gradient theory in conjunction with the Gurtin-Murdoch surface elasticity theory . The new model containing a nonlocal parameter, a material length scale parameter, and several surface elastic constants can capture three typical typ es of size e ects simultaneously , which are the nonlocal stress ef- fect, the strain gradient e ect, and the surface energy e ects. With the help of Hamilton’s principle and rst-order shear deformation theory , the non-classical governing equations and related b oundary conditions are derived. By using the prop osed model, the free vibra- tion problem of FG cylindrical nanoshells with material prop erties varying continuously through the thickness according to a p ower-law distribution is analytically solved, and the closed-form solutions for natural frequencies under various b oundary conditions are obtained. 11Optimising the electroluminescence performance of ZnS:Cu/epoxy composites via exploring the relationship between electroluminescence intensity and filler intrinsic attributes显示文摘Electroluminescent composites have considerable potential for applications in photoelectric display,electric field measurement and other fields due to their advantages of simple preparation and uniform luminescence.However,high voltage required by the operation of electroluminescent composites hinders their applications in the electric domain,and research on the relationship between electroluminescence principle of composites and filler intrinsic attributes is insufficient.In this paper,the effects of electric field strength,filler mass fraction and voltage frequency on the electroluminescence intensity of ZnS:Cu/epoxy composites are studied,which are majorly used as the luminescent layer of electroluminescent devices.To enhance the electroluminescence intensity of composites,high-temperature sintered BaTiO_(3)and zinc oxide whiskers(ZnOw)particles are introduced in the base matrix.The finite element method is applied to verify that the matrix of high dielectric constant is in favour of improving the electroluminescence intensity of composites.The band structure of the ZnS:Cu particle is calculated based on the density functional theory+U method to analyse the intrinsic relationship between electroluminescence and particle electronic structure.This paper provides a basis for the research of high electroluminescence intensity devices and will be conducive to better understanding on the relationship between electroluminescence principle and filler intrinsic attributes.Wen Qi Miao Liu Siqi Chen Kun He Luxing Zhao Boyang Shen Xingming Bian 2022High Voltage2022,7,6:2
12Accuracy enhancement of the spherical actuator with a two-level geometric calibration method显示文摘This paper presents a two-level geometric calibration method for the permanent magnet(PM) spherical actuator to improve its motion control accuracy. The proposed actuator is composed of a stator with circumferential coils and a rotor with multiple PM poles. Due to the assembly and fabrication errors, the real geometric parameters of the actuator will deviate from their design values. Hence, the identification of such errors is critical for the motion control tasks. A two-level geometric calibration approach is proposed to identify such errors. In the first level, the calibration model is formulated based on the differential form of the kinematic equation, which is to identify the geometric errors in the spherical joint. In the second level, the calibration model is formulated based on the differential form of torque formula, which is to calibrate the geometric parameters of the magnetization axes of PM poles and coils axes. To demonstrate the robustness and availability of the calibration algorithm, simulations are conducted.
