Nonlinear dynamic analysis of low viscosity fluid-lubricated tilting-pad journal bearing for different design parameters显示文摘To reveal nonlinear dynamic rules of low viscosity fluid-lubricated tilting-pad journal bearings(TPJBs),the effects of design parameters on journal center orbits and dynamic minimum film thicknesses of water-lubricated TPJBs with and without static loads are investigated. The hydrodynamic bearing force used in the nonlinear dynamic analysis is an approximate analytical solution including the turbulence effect. The results reveal the methods for vibration suppression and load capacity improvement and give an optimal pivot offset and clearance ratio that can maximize the minimum film thickness. The results also show that four-pad TPJBs with loads between pads are preferred due to good dynamic performance and load capacity. This study would provide some guidance for nonlinear design of low viscosity fluid-lubricated TPJBs under dynamic loads. | Yingze JIN Fei CHEN Jimin XU Xiaoyang YUAN | 2020 | Friction2020,8,5: | 2
A hybrid artificial bee colony algorithm and support vector machine for predicting blast-induced ground vibration显示文摘Because nearby construction has harmful effects, precisely predicting blast-induced ground vibration is critical. In this paper,a hybrid artificial bee colony(ABC)and support vector machine(SVM)model was proposed for predicting the value of peak particle velocity(PPV),which is used to describe blast-induced ground vibration. To construct the model,5 potentially relevant factors, including controllable and uncontrollable parameters, were considered as input parameters, and PPV was set as the output parameter.Forty-five samples were recorded from the Hongling lead-zinc mine.An ABC-SVM model was developed and trained on 35 samples via 5-fold cross-validation(CV).A testing set(10 samples)was used to evaluate the prediction performance of the ABC-SVM model.SVM and four empirical models(United States Bureau of Mines(USBM),Amraseys-Hendron(A-H),Langefors-Kihstrom(L-K),and Central Mining Research Institute(CMRI))also were introduced for comparison.Next, the performances of the models were analyzed by using 3 statistical parameters:the correlation coefficient(R2),root-mean-square error(RMSE),and variance accounted for(VAF).ABC-SVM had the highest R2 and VAF values followed by the SVM,A-H,USBM,CMRI,and L-K methods. The results demonstrated that ABC-SVM outperformed SVM and the empirical predictors for predicting PPV.Moreover, the best results from the R2,RMSE,and VAF indices were 0.9628,0.2737,and 96.05%for the ABC-SVM model. The sensitivities of the parameters also were investigated, and the height difference between the blast point and the monitoring station was found to be the parameter that had the most influence on PPV. | Zhu Chun Xu Yingze Wu Yongxin He Manchao Zhu Chuanqi Meng Qingxiang Lin Yun | 2022 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,4: | 1

The persistent prevalence and evolution of cross-family recombinant coronavirus GCCDC1 among a bat population:a two-year follow-up显示文摘Bats are connected with the increasing numbers of emerging and re-emerging viruses that may break the species barrier and spread into the human population. Coronaviruses are one of the most common viruses discovered in bats, which were considered as the natural source of recent human-susceptible coronaviruses, i.e. SARS-COV and MERS-CoV. Our previous study reported the discovery of a bat-derived putative cross-family recombinant coronavirus with a reovirus gene p10, named as Ro-BatCoV GCCDC1. In this report, through a two-year follow-up of a special bat population in one specific cave of south China, we illustrate that Ro-BatCoV GCCDC1 persistently circulates among bats. Notably, through the longitudinal observation, we identified the dynamic evolution of Ro-BatCoV GCCDC1 in bats represented by continuously recombination events. Our study provides the first glimpse of the virus evolution in one longitudinally observed bat population cohort and underlines the surveillance and pre-warning of potential interspecies transmittable viruses in bats. | Joseph O.Obameso Hong Li Hao Jia Min Han Shiyan Zhu Canping Huang Yuhui Zhao Min Zhao Yu Bai Fei Yuan Honglan Zhao Xia Peng Wen Xu Wenjie Tan Yingze Zhao Kwok-Yung Yuen William J.Liu Lin Lu George F.Gao | 2017 | Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,12: | 1
The genomic characteristics and pathogenicity of a mammalian orthoreovirus within a new lineage from wild pika in plateau显示文摘Emerging and re-emerging viruses from wild animals have seriously threatened the health of humans and domesticated animals in recent years.Herein,we isolated a new mammalian orthoreovirus(MRV),Pika/MRV/GCCDC7/2019(PMRV-GCCDC7),in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau wild pika(Ochotona curzoniae).Though the PMRVGCCDC7 shows features of a typical reovirus with ten gene segments arranged in 3:3:4 in length, the virus belongs to an independent evolutionary branch compared to other MRVs based on phylogenetic tree analysis. The results of cellular susceptibility, species tropism, and replication kinetics of PMRV-GCCDC7 indicated the virus could infect four human cell lines(A549,Huh7,HCT,and LoVo)and six non-human cell lines, including Vero-E6,LLCMK2,BHK-21,N2a,MDCK,and RfKT cell, derived from diverse mammals,i.e.monkey,mice,canine and bat, which revealed the potential of PMRV-GCCDC7 to infect a variety of hosts.Infection of BALB/c mice with PMRVGCCDC7 via intranasal inoculation led to relative weight loss, lung tissue damage and inflammation with the increase of virus titer, but no serious respiratory symptoms and death occurred. The characterization of the new reovirus from a plateau-based wild animal has expanded our knowledge of the host range of MRV and provided insight into its risk of trans-species transmission and zoonotic diseases. | Kexin Zong Yuanyuan Guo Jingdong Song Maoshun Liu Junfeng Hao Jie Zhang Xin Li Shiyan Zhu Shuting Huo Ziqian Xu Peipei Liu Yingze Zhao Yuhai Bi Jiapeng Qu George F.Gao Jun Liu | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023,38,6: | 0

Spray synthesis of rapid recovery Zno/polyaniline film ammonia sensor at room temperature显示文摘As an excellent room temperature sensing material, polyaniline(PANI)needs to be further investigated in the field of high sensitivity and sustainable gas sensors due to its long recovery time and difficulty to complete recovery. The ZnO/PANI film with p-n heterogeneous energy levels have successfully prepared by spraying Zno nanorod synthesized by hydrothermal method on the PANI film rapidly synthesized at the gas-liquid interface. The presence of p-n heterogeneous energy levels enables the ZnO/PANI film to detect 0.1-100 ppm(1 ppm=10^(-6))NH_(3)at room temperature with the response value to 100 ppm NH_(3)doubled(12.96)and the recovery time shortened to 1/5(31.2s).The ability of high response and fast recovery makes the ZnO/PANI filmto be able to detect NH_(3)at room temperature continuously. It provides a new idea for PANI to prepare sustainable room temperature sensor and promotes the development of room temperature sensor in public safety. | Yingze BAI Xin DONG Chuanyu GUO Yingming XU Bin WANG Xiaoli CHENG | 2022 | Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,4: | 0
