| 1 | Evaluation of strategy for analyzing mouse liver plasma membrane proteome显示文摘Plasma membrane (PM) proteome is one of the major subproteomes present in the cell,and is very important in liver function. In the present work, C57 mouse liver PM was purified by density-gradient centrifugation. The purified PM was verified by electron microscope analysis and Western blotting. The results showed that the PM was enriched by more than 20-fold and the contamination of mitochondria was reduced by 2-fold compared with the homogenization fraction. Proteins were separated by 2DE and 1DE, trypsin-digested and submitted to ESI-Q-TOF and MALDI-TOF-TOF mass spectrometry or directly digested in solution and analyzed by LC-ESI ion trap mass spectrometry. In all, 547 non-redundant mouse liver PM proteins were identified, of which 34% contributed to plasma membrane or plasma membrane-related proteins. | 3 | Design strategy for low-temperature sulfur etching to achieve high-performance hollow multifunctional electrode material显示文摘Zeolite Imidazole Framework(ZIF)has the advantages of large specific surface area,high porosity,and easy functionalization,so it looked like one of the most promising energy storage and conversion materials.In the meantime,transition metal oxides and sulfides have been widely used in environmental and energy conversion applications.Hence,a NaOH-assisted thioacetamide etching strategy is,therefore,designed with the metal-organic framework as precursor to realize the hollow nanostructure of ZIF bimetallic sulfide(Sx-CoCd-350)with abundant sulfur vacancies for enhanced catalysts oxygen evolution reaction(OER)/hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance and capacitance performance of capacitor.The overpotential of S_(2)-CoCd-350 in the OER process is 355 m V at 50 m A cm^(-2),which is substantially lower than other reported ZIF-based catalysts.S_(2)-CoCd-350 has an overpotential of 84 m V at 10 m A cm^(-2)when employed as HER catalyst.Furthermore,the S_(2)-CoCd-350 electrode did not alter appreciably during a long-term durability test of more than 10 h.More impressively,S_(2)-Co Cd-350 matches the activated carbon(AC)electrode with excellent capacitance performance 1220μWh cm^(-2)energy density(at 3370μW cm^(-2))and 25,000μW cm^(-2)(at 700μWh cm^(-2))maximum power density.In addition,the assembled supercapacitor has excellent cycling stability. | Hui Wen Ziyu Yi Zhenyu Hu Rui Guo Xuanwen Liu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,24: | 1 |
| 4 | Facile synthesis and highly efficient selective adsorption properties of Y2Mo4O15 for methylene blue:Kinetics,thermodynamics and mechanical analyses显示文摘Y_2 Mo_4 O_(15) particles were prepared using a simple solution method(SSM) and used as a highly efficient selective adsorbent for methylene blue(MB) in aqueous solutions. The maximum adsorption capacity of the samples was determined based on the adsorption isotherms with different adsorbent doses at 298,318 and 338 K. The fittings of the temperature-dependent isotherms yield ΔrG_m~θ =-34.1 kJ/mol,Δ_rH_m~θ=-36.9 kJ/mol and Δ_rS_m~θ=-9.67 J/mol·K. The as-prepared Y_2 Mo_4 O_(15) has a very large maximum adsorption capacity(i.e., 198 mg/g) for MB at room temperature, and this value is only less than that of amorphous hardwood powder. Notably, 80 mg of adsorbent is able to completely decolorize 250 mL of30 mg/L MB aqueous solution. The kinetic parameters of the adsorption process were obtained from the temperature-dependent adsorption isotherm(i.e., E_1=26.9 kJ/mol and E_1 = 63.8 kJ/mol). The results of adsorption kinetics show that it is a pseudo-second-order reaction. | 5 | Application and verification of simultaneous determination of cellulose δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O in Picea shrenkiana tree rings from northwestern China using the high-temperature pyrolysis method显示文摘Stable isotopes in tree-ring cellulose provide important data in ecological,archaeological,and paleoenvironmental researches,thereby,the demand for stable isotope analyses is increasing rapidly.Simultaneous measurement of cellulose δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values from tree rings would reduce the cost of isotopic commodities and improve the analytical efficiency compared with conventional separate measurement.In this study,we compared the δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values of tree-ringα-cellulose from Tianshan spruce(Picea schrenkiana)in an arid site in the drainage basin of the Urumqi River in Xinjiang of northwestern China based on separate and simultaneous measurements,using the combustion method(at1050°C)and the high-temperature pyrolysis method(at 1350°C and 1400°C).We verified the results of simultaneous measurement using the outputs from separate measurement and found that both methods(separate and simultaneous)produced similar δ^(13)C values.The two-point calibrated method improved the results(range and variation)of δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values.The mean values,standard deviations,and trends of the tree-ring δ^(13)C obtained by the combustion method were similar to those by the pyrolysis method followed by two-point calibration.The simultaneously measured δ^(18)O from the pyrolysis method at 1400°C had a nearly constant offset with that the pyrolysis method at 1350°C due to isotopic-dependence on the reaction temperature.However,they showed similar variations in the time series.The climate responses inferred from simultaneously and separately measured δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O did not differ between the two methods.The tree-ring δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values were negatively correlated with standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index from May to August.In addition,the δ^(18)O was significantly correlated with temperature(positive),precipitation(negative),and relative humidity(negative)from May to August.The tree-ring δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values determined simultaneously through the high-temperature pyrolysis method could produce acceptable and reliable stable isotope series.The simultaneous isotopic measurement can greatly reduce the cost and time requirement compared with the separate isotopic measurement.These results are consistent with the previous studies at humid sites,suggesting that the simultaneous determination of δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O in tree-ringα-cellulose can be used in wide regions. | XU Guobao LIU Xiaohong SUN Weizhen CHEN Tuo ZHANG Xuanwen ZENG Xiaomin WU Guoju WANG Wenzhi QIN Dahe | 2018 | Journal of Arid Land2018,10,6: | 1 |
| 6 | CFD Simulation of the Two-Phase Flow in a Novel Cooking Tank for Ethanol Production显示文摘As a key piece of equipment in bioethanol production, cooking tank is usually used to ensure the uniformity of liquefaction. In this paper, we propose a novel type of cooking tank to ensure a type of starch slurry flow known as a quasi-plug flow in a large-scale process. In the analyses of flow field, we used computational fl uid dynamics(CFD). To simulate the liquid–solid two-phase flow, we chose a Euler–Euler model based on particle dynamics. We investigated the eff ects of several key structural parameters on the flow field. The results show that for a tank with 12,800 mm in height and 1000 mm in diameter, the optimized inlet tube angle and inlet tube diameter range from 0° to 45° and 0.125 to 0.15 D(diameter of cooking tank), respectively. We determined the optimum cone mouth diameter at the exit and its distance to the bottom to range from 0.18 to 0.30 D and 0.045 to 0.070 D, respectively. The analysis results suggest that the tank performs well when its aspect ratio ranges from 9.62 to 12.8. | 10 | Oxaliplatin plus irinotecan vs irinotecan as second-line treatment in pancreatic cancer patients:a randomized–controlled open-label Phase II study显示文摘Background:Limited second-line therapeutic options are available for metastasis pancreatic cancer(mPC).We aimed to explore the efficacy and safety of oxaliplatin plus irinotecan(IROX)in mPC patients.Methods:This is an open-label,Phase 2,randomized study of mPC patients(aged 18–75 years)who failed when using gemcitabine plus S-1 as first-line therapy.Block randomization with a block size of four was used to randomly assign patients(1:1)between October 2015 and December 2017 to receive either IROX(oxaliplatin 85mg/m2 and irinotecan 160mg/m2)or irinotecan monotherapy(irinotecan 180mg/m^(2))until disease progression,unacceptable adverse events,or consent withdrawal.The primary end point was overall survival,and the secondary end points were progression-free survival,overall response rate,and adverse event rate.Results:A total of 74 patients were enrolled in this study,including 44 males and 30 females,with an average age of 61 years.The median overall survival was 10.2 and 6.7 months(adjusted hazard ratio[HR],0.7;95%confidence interval[CI],0.4–1.2;P=0.20)and the median progression-free survival was 5.1 and 2.3 months(adjusted HR,0.4;95%CI,0.2–0.6;P<0.01)in the IROX group and irinotecan group,respectively.The overall response rates were 18.4%(7/38)in the IROX group and 5.5%(2/36)in the irinotecan group(P=0.06).Grade 3–4 adverse events occurred in 34%(13/38)of patients in the IROX group and 19%(7/36)of patients in the irinotecan group(P=0.15).Conclusions:IROX had no significant survival benefit over irinotecan monotherapy in our study.However,IROX reduced the risk of disease progression by 60%,with acceptable toxicity. | Hangyu Zhang Zhou Tong Lulu Liu Qihan Fu Xudong Zhu Xiaomeng Dai Xuanwen Bao Weijia Fang Yi Zheng Peng Zhao | 2023 | Gastroenterology Report2023,11,1: | 0 |
