1Dry Heat Treatment Reduces the Occurrence of Cladosporium cucumerinum, Ascochyta citrullina, and Colletotrichum orbiculare on the Surface and Interior of Cucumber Seeds显示文摘Dry heat treatment has been identifie as a method for disinfecting seed-borne pathogens in vegetable seeds. This study demonstrated that three seed-borne pathogens of cucumber(Cladosporium cucumerinum that causes scabs, Ascochyta citrullina that results in gummy stem blight,and Colletotrichum orbiculare that induces anthracnose) could be effectively eradicated from cucumber seeds by dry heat treatment. In vitro growth of these three pathogens was inhibited by dry heat treatment at 70 °C for 40 min. These pathogens were inactivated after exposing infected seeds to 70 °C dry heat for at least 90 min. Seed infection was significant y reduced by exposing the seeds to 70 °C dry heat for at least 40 min. Seed moisture content and germination were slightly reduced after 70 °C heat treatment for 40–120 min. Seed vigor remained at a high level after dry heat treatment at 70 °C for 90 min. 2Development and Evaluation of a Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification Assay for the Rapid Detection and Identification of Pectobacterium carotovorum on Celery in the Field显示文摘Pectobacterium carotovorum is the causal agent of bacterial soft rot in a wide range of vegetable host species.Once P.carotovorum infects the plant,the spread of the disease is difficult to control.In this study,a rapid and sensitive method based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)was developed for detecting P.carotovorum in celery with soft rot using a primer set designed from the pmrA conserved sequence of P.carotovorum.The specificity of the LAMP primer set for P.carotovorum was extensively validated on both P.carotovorum strains and nontarget strains.The sensitivity was 1 pg of P.carotovorum genomic DNA,which demonstrated 10 times more sensitive than the conventional PCR assay.LAMP was also used to detect P.carotovorum in bacterial suspension.The lowest detection concentration was 104 CFU·mL^−1.In addition,a LAMP assay,in conjunction with a crude DNA extraction method,was successfully performed on P.carotovorum-infected samples derived from both artificially and naturally infected plants.In summary,the LAMP assay established in this study constitutes a simple,sensitive,and rapid method for the detection of P.carotovorum,and has potential application in the control of celery soft rot disease through early detection.Yanxia Shi Zhiwen Jin Xianglong Meng Lixue Wang Xuewen Xie Ali Chai Baoju Li 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,5:3
3Design of trotting controller for the position-controlled quadruped robot显示文摘This work presents a controller designed for position-controlled quadrupedal dynamic locomotion,aiming at simple and robust trotting control. The controller takes the torso attitude angles and velocities into planning foot trajectories. Firstly design of the servo motor actuated quadruped robot is introduced and the kinematic equations are deduced. Then a scheme is presented for controlling the robot torso attitude based on the virtual leg model. Furthermore,it demonstrates the design of the controller which enables the robot to have a wide range of trotting gaits and omni-directional motions. 4High-yield Cultivation Techniques of Stevia rebaudiana(Bertoni) Hemsl. in Gannan Area of Jiangxi Province显示文摘In order to expand the production of Stevia rebaudiana( Bertoni) Hemsl.,the main points of high-yield cultivation techniques of a two-year-old stevia cultivar Shoutian No. 3 in Gannan area of Jiangxi Province were summarized: cutting and transplanting in early spring; fine management,applying more basic and additional fertilizers and retaining stubbles two times in summer,retaining roots for seeding in late autumn,and mulching membrane for safe overwintering in winter. 5Photoexcitation-induced passivation of SnO_(2) thin film for efficient perovskite solar cells显示文摘A high-quality tin oxide electron transport layer(ETL)is a key common factor to achieve high-performance perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,the conventional annealing technique to prepare high-quality ETLs by continuous heating under near-equilibrium conditions requires high temperatures and a long fabrication time.Alternatively,we present a non-equilibrium,photoexcitation-induced passivation technique that uses multiple ultrashort laser pulses.The ultrafast photoexcitation and following electron–electron and electron–phonon scattering processes induce ultrafast annealing to efficiently passivate surface and bulk defects,and improve the crystallinity of SnO_(2),resulting in suppressing the carrier recombination and facilitating the charge transport between the ETL and perovskite interface.By rapidly scanning the laser beam,the annealing time is reduced to several minutes,which is much more efficient compared with conventional thermal annealing.To demonstrate the university and scalability of this technique,typical antisolvent and antisolvent-free processed hybrid organic–inorganic metal halide PSCs have been fabricated and achieved the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 24.14%and 22.75%respectively,and a 12-square-centimeter module antisolvent-free processed perovskite solar module achieves a PCE of 20.26%,with significantly enhanced performance both in PCE and stability.This study establishes a new approach towards the commercialization of efficient low-temperature manufacturing of PSCs.Nianyao Chai Xiangyu Chen Zhongle Zeng Ruohan Yu Yunfan Yue Bo Mai Jinsong Wu Liqiang Mai Yi-Bing Cheng Xuewen Wang 2023National Science Review2023,10,11:0
