| 1 | Cluster analysis for syndromes of real-world coronary heartdisease with angina pectoris显示文摘Syndromes of coronary heart disease with angina pectoris were analyzed to provide guidance forclinical practice and to improve accuracy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnoses and efficacy of TCMtreatment. A total of 860 cases with coronary heart disease with angina pectoris were selected from TCM ClinicalResearch Information Sharing System for TCM clinics and research. Syndromes were automatically extractedwith the cluster method and were analyzed to provide objective evidence for clinical studies. Final syndromeclassifications were recognized and confirmed by clinical experts. Popular syndromes included Qi and blooddeficiency, blood stasis and obstruction collaterals, liver depression and spleen deficiency, and Qi stagnation andblood stasis. Syndromes Qi and blood deficiency and blood stasis and obstruction collaterals accounted for 28.61%of total syndromes, whereas liver depression and spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation and blood stasis accountedfor 26.44%. | 4 | River width and depth as key factors of diurnal activity energy expenditure allocation for wintering Spot-billed Ducks in the Xin'an River Basin显示文摘Rivers are important habitats for wintering waterbirds.However,they are easily influenced by natural and human activities.An important approach for waterbirds to adapt to habitats is adjusting the activity time and energy expenditure allocation of diurnal behavior.The compensatory foraging hypothesis predicts that increased energy expenditure leads to longer foraging time,which in turn increases food intake and helps maintain a constant energy balance.However,it is unclear whether human-disturbed habitats result in increased energy expenditure related to safety or foraging.In this study,the scan sample method was used to observe the diurnal behavior of the wintering Spot-billed Duck(Anas poecilorhyncha) in two rivers in the Xin’an River Basin from October 2021 to March 2022.The allocation of time and energy expenditure for activity in both normal and disturbed environments was calculated.The results showed that foraging accounted for the highest percentage of time and energy expenditure.Additionally,foraging decreased in the disturbed environment than that in the normal environment.Resting behavior showed the opposite trend,while other behaviors were similar in both environments.The total diurnal energy expenditure of ducks in the disturbed environment was greater than that in the normal environment,with decreased foraging and resting time percentage and increased behaviors related to immediate safety(swimming and alert) and comfort.These results oppose the compensatory foraging hypothesis in favor of increased security.The optimal diurnal energy expenditure model included river width and water depth,which had a positive relationship;an increase in either of these two factors resulted in an increase in energy expenditure.This study provides a better understanding of energy allocation strategies underlying the superficial time allocation of wintering waterbirds according to environmental conditions.Exploring these changes can help understand the maximum fitness of wintering waterbirds in response to nature and human influences. | Chao Yu Xuying Lu Deli Sun Mengnan Chu Xueyun Li Qun Li | 2024 | Avian Research2024,15,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Geochemical and Geological Characterization of Marine-Continental Transitional Shale: A Case Study in the Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘The organic-rich shale of the Shanxi and Taiyuan Formation of the Lower Permian deposited in a marinecontinental transitional environment are well developed in the Ordos Basin,NW China,which is considered to contain a large amount of shale hydrocarbon resources.This study takes the Lower Permian Shanxi and Taiyuan shale collected from well SL~# in the Ordos Basin,NW China as an example to characterize the transitional shale reservoir.Based on organic geochemistry data,X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis,field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM)observations,the desorbed gas contents of this transitional shale were systematically studied and the shale gas potential was investigated.The results indicate that the Lower Permian Shanxi and Taiyuan shale has a relatively high total organic carbon(TOC)(average TOC of 4.9%)and contains type III kerogen with a high mature to over mature status.XRD analyses show that an important characteristic of the shale is that clay and brittle minerals of detrital origin comprise the major mineral composition of the marine-continental transitional shale samples,while the percentages of carbonate minerals,pyrite and siderite are relatively small.FE-SEM observations reveal that the mineral matrix pores are the most abundant in the Lower Permian shale samples,while organic matter(OM)pores are rarely developed.Experimental analysis suggests that the mineral compositions mainly govern the macropore development in the marine-continental transitional shale,and mineral matrix pores and microfractures are considered to provide space for gas storage and migration.In addition,the desorption experiments demonstrated that the marine-continental transitional shale in the Ordos Basin has a significantly potential for shale gas exploration,ranging from 0.53 to 2.86 m^3/t with an average value of 1.25m^3/t,which is in close proximity to those of terrestrial shale(1.29 m^3/t)and marine shale(1.28 m^3/t).In summary,these results demonstrated that the Lower Permian marine-continental transitional shale in the Ordos Basin has a significantly potential for shale gas exploration. | WEI Zhifu WANG Gen WANG Yongli MA Xueyun ZHANG Ting HE Wei YU Xiaoli | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,3: | 0 |
