1Manganese is critical for antitumor immune responses via cGAS-STING and improves the efficacy of clinical immunotherapy显示文摘CD8^+T cell-mediated cancer clearance is often suppressed by the interaction between inhibitory molecules like PD-1 and PD-L1,an interaction acts like brakes to prevent T cell overreaction under normal conditions but is exploited by tumor cells to escape the immune surveillance.Immune checkpoint inhibitors have revolutionized cancer therapeutics by removing such brakes.Unfortunately,only a minority of cancer patients respond to immunotherapies presumably due to inadequate immunity.Antitumor immunity depends on the activation of the cGAS-STING pathway,as STING-deficient mice fail to stimulate tumor-infiltrating dendritic cells(DCs)to activate CD8^+T cells.STING agonists also enhance natural killer(NK)cells to mediate the clearance of CD8^+T cell-resistant tumors.Therefore STING agonists have been intensively sought after.We previously discovered that manganese(Mn)is indispensable for the host defense against cytosolic dsDNA by activating cGAS-STING.Here we report that Mn is also essential in innate immune sensing of tumors and enhances adaptive immune responses against tumors.Mn-insufficient mice had significantly enhanced tumor growth and metastasis,with greatly reduced tumor-infiltrating CD8^+T cells.Mechanically,Mn^2+promoted DC and macrophage maturation and tumor-specific antigen presentation,augmented CD8^+T cell differentiation,activation and NK cell activation,and increased memory CD8^+T cells.Combining Mn^2+with immune checkpoint inhibition synergistically boosted antitumor efficacies and reduced the anti-PD-1 antibody dosage required in mice.Importantly,a completed phase 1 clinical trial with the combined regimen of Mn^2+and anti-PD-1 antibody showed promising efficacy,exhibiting type I IFN induction,manageable safety and revived responses to immunotherapy in most patients with advanced metastatic solid tumors.We propose that this combination strategy warrants further clinical translation.Mengze Lv Meixia Chen Rui Zhang Wen Zhang Chenguang Wang Yan Zhang Xiaoming Wei Yukun Guan Jiejie Liu Kaichao Feng Miao Jing Xurui Wang Yun-Cai Liu Qian Mei Weidong Han Zhengfan Jiang 2020Cell Research2020,30,11:27
2Quasi-solid-state nanocrystalline TiO2 solar cells using gel network polymer electrolytes based on polysiloxanes显示文摘A quasi-solid-state dye-sensitized nanocrystal-line porous TiO2 film solar cell was fabricated using a novel gel network polymer electrolyte based on polysiloxanes with both polyethylene oxide internal plasticized side chains and quaternary ammonium groups. The cell exhibited better photoelectrical conversion performance under 60 mW/cm2 irradiation. 4Synthesis of TiO_(2) nanotubes film and its light scattering property显示文摘TiO2 nanotubes with diameters of 10 nm and lengths up to 600 nm were fabricated by directly using com-mercial TiO2 powders P25 as the precursors via sonica-tion-hydrothermal combination approach. TiO2 nanotubes were characterized by means of X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), selected area electron diffraction pattern (SAED) and transmission elec-tron microscope (TEM). The light scattering property of film electrodes modified with TiO2 nanotubes was studied and revealed that TiO2 nanotubes can be used as the light scat-tering centers to increase the light absorption in dye- sensi-tized solar cells. 5Chemical treatments of the nanocrystalline porous TiO_2 electrodes显示文摘Two types of nanocrystalline porous TiO2 electrodes were prepared by the hydrothermal and painting methods. The incident photon-to-current efficiency and photoelectrical conversion efficiency were both improved by chemical treatments of titanium tetrachloride and titanium isopropoxide. 6Nanocrystalline TiO_(2) thin film electrodes prepared by common pressure hydrothermal method at low temperature显示文摘Nanocrystalline TiO2 thin film electrodes have been prepared from mixed pastes of tetrabutyl titanate and nanocrystalline TiO2 particles by common pressure hydro- thermal method at low temperature. The tetrabutyl titanate was hydrolyzed and crystallized into anatase TiO2 to inter- connect nanocrystalline TiO2 particles and adhere them to conductive substrates, obtaining highly porous and me- chanically stable TiO2 nanocrystalline film. 7A new type quasi-solid state electrolyte for dye-sensitized solar cells显示文摘A new type quasi-solid state electrolyte was prepared by solidifying liquid electrolytes con- taining organic solvents (such as mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC) and propylene carbonate (PC), 3- methoxypropinitrile (NMP) and N-methyl-oxazolidin- one (NMO)) with comb-like molten salt type polymer, and was for the first time employed in dyesensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The optimal electrolyte compo- sition was obtained by regulating the polymer content in the electrolytes and optimizing performance data of the electrolytes and assembled cells, yielding a maximum conversion efficiency of 6.58% (AM 1.5, 100 mW·cm?2). 8Photoelectrical performance of nanocrystalline TiO_2 film electrode sensitized by Ru(Ⅱ)-bipyridine complexes显示文摘Two kinds of Ru(Ⅱ)-bipyridine complexes, cis-di(thiocyanate)bis(2,2′-bipyridyl-4,4′-dicarboxylate) ruthenium(Ⅱ) and cis-di(thiocyanate)bis(2,2′-bipyridyl-3,3′-dicarboxylate) ruthenium(Ⅱ), were utilized as the sensitizers to the nanocrystalline TiO-2 film electrodes. Study shows that the two dyes have quite different sensitization properties due to the strong steric effect of carboxyl groups. 10A Comparative Study on Urban Ecological Resilience in the Pearl River Delta Region显示文摘Based on index data during 2005-2015, evaluation index system of ecological resilience was established based on concept analysis of ecological resilience. Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhuhai in the Pearl River Delta were taken as research objects in this paper. Using principal component analysis, error brought by artificial subjectivity could be eliminated, and the selected 6 indexes were simplified into 3 indexes for comparative analysis. The research results showed that ecological resilience at Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhuhai in research period rose in the fluctuation. Moreover, its change cause was analyzed simply, and some countermeasures of maintaining and improving ecological resilience were proposed. 11Preparation of porous nanocrystalline TiO_2 electrode by screen-printing technique显示文摘Different paste has been used for preparing porous TiO2 thin film by screen-printing technique, the main component of it comes from commercial TiO2 P25 power. The dye-sensitized solar cell based on this TiO2 thin film without further chemical treatments exhibits high overall conversion efficiency of 5.81%―6.70%, even with low TiO2 content and thin film thickness. 17Bipolar phototransistor in a vertical Au/graphene/MoS2 van der Waals heterojunction with photocurrent enhancement显示文摘Bipolar phototransistors have higher optical responsivity than photodiodes and play an important role in the field of photoelectric conversion.Two-dimensional materials offer a good optical responsivity and have the potential advantages of heterogeneous integration,but mass-production is difficult.In this study,a bipolar phototransistor is presented based on a vertical Au/graphene/MoS2 van der Waals heterojunction that can be mass-produced with a silicon semiconductor process using a simple photolithography process.Au is used as the emitter,which is a functional material used not just for the electrodes,MoS2 is used for the collector,and graphene in used for the base of the bipolar phototransistor.In the bipolar phototransistor,the electric field of the dipole formed by the Au and graphene contact is in the same direction as the external electric field and thus enhances the photocurrent,and a maximum photocurrent gain of 18 is demonstrated.A mechanism for enhancing the photocurrent of the graphene/MoS2 photodiode by contacting Au with graphene is also described.Additionally,the maximum responsivity is calculated to be 16,458 A/W,and the generation speed of the photocurrent is 1.48×10^-4A/s.JIAQI LI XURUI MAO SHENG XIE ZHAOXIN GENG HONGDA CHEN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,1:1

19Auriferous karst breccias in East Hebei Province, China显示文摘RECENTLY, a new type of gold deposits was discovered along the Great Wall in East Hebei Province, thatis the so-called ’Great Wall Type gold deposit’, a-kind of carbonate breccias with micro-disseminated(invisible) gold hosted in Middle-Proterozoic carbonate rocks. In the 30th IGC in August 1996 in Beijing, it was reported as the largest belt of Carlin-type gold deposits in China, and over 1 000 tons of goldreserves were estimated (oral report). Up to now, very little is known about its genesis. Our researchshows large differences between Great Wall type and Carlin-type gold. Most remarkable is that gold ishosted in carbonate breccias, to be precise, in cements (matrix) of breccias. Because of this, we consider the breccias as a key to understanding the genesis.
