| 5 | IQGAP3 promotes the progression of glioma as an immune and prognostic marker显示文摘Background:IQGAP3 plays a crucial role in regulating cell proliferation,division,and cytoskeletal organization.Abnormal expression of IQGAP3 has been linked to various tumors,but its function in glioma is not well understood.Methods:Various methods,including genetic differential analysis,single-cell analysis,ROC curve analysis,Cox regression,Kaplan-Meier analysis,and enrichment analysis,were employed to analyze the expression patterns,diagnostic potential,prognostic implications,and biological processes involving IQGAP3 in normal and tumor tissues.The impact of IQGAP3 on immune infiltration and the immune microenvironment in gliomas was evaluated using immunofluorescence.Additionally,the cBioPortal database was used to analyze copy number variations and mutation sites of IQGAP3.Experimental validation was also performed to assess the effects of IQGAP3 on glioma cells and explore underlying mechanisms.Results:High IQGAP3 expression in gliomas is associated with an unfavorable prognosis,particularly in wild-type IDH and 1p/19q non-codeleted gliomas.Enrichment analysis revealed that IQGAP3 is involved in regulating the cell cycle,PI3K/AKT signaling,p53 signaling,and PLK1-related pathways.Furthermore,IQGAP3 expression may be closely related to the immunosuppressive microenvironment of glioblastoma.BRD-K88742110 and LY-303511 are potential drugs for targeting IQGAP3 in anti-glioma therapy.In vitro experiments showed that downregulation of IQGAP3 inhibits the proliferation and migration of glioma cells,with the PLK1/PI3K/AKT pathway potentially playing a crucial role in IQGAP3-mediated glioma progression.Conclusion:IQGAP3 shows promise as a valuable biomarker for diagnosis,prognosis,and immunotherapeutic strategies in gliomas. | XIAOFENG GAO JUANJUAN GE XUZHENG GAO NA MEI YANTING SU SHIGANG SHAN WENBIN QIAN JIANGHENG GUAN ZHENWANG ZHANG LONG WANG | 2024 | Oncology Research2024,32,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Pharmacological manipulation of macrophage autophagy effectively rejuvenates the regenerative potential of biodegrading vascular graft in aging body显示文摘Declined regenerative potential and aggravated inflammation upon aging create an inappropriate environment for arterial regeneration.Macrophages are one of vital effector cells in the immune microenvironment,especially during biomaterials mediated repairing process.Here,we revealed that the macrophage autophagy decreased with aging,which led to aggravated inflammation,thereby causing poor vascular remodeling of artificial grafts in aging body.Through loading the autophagy-targeted drugs,rapamycin and 3-MA(3-methyladenine),in PCL(polycaprolactone)sheath of the PGS(poly glycerol sebacate)-PCL vascular graft,the essential role of macrophage autophagy was confirmed in regulating macrophage polarization and biomaterial degradation.Moreover,the utilization of rapamycin promoted anti-inflammatory polarization of macrophage by activating autophagy,which further promoted myogenic differentiation of vascular progenitor cells and accelerated endothelialization.Our study elucidated the contribution of pharmacological manipulation of macrophage autophagy in promoting regeneration of small caliber artery,which may pave a new avenue for clinical translation of vascular grafts in aging body. | Wanli Chen Weiwei Xiao Xuzheng Liu Pingping Yuan Siqian Zhang Yinggang Wang Wei Wu | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,5: | 0 |
| 7 | Phosphor-free microLEDs with ultrafast and broadband features for visible light communications显示文摘Modulation bandwidth and the emission region are essential features for the widespread use of visible light communications(VLC).This paper addresses the contradictory requirements to achieve broadband and proposes ultrafast,asymmetric pyramids grown on adjacent deep concave holes via lateral overgrowth.Multicolor emission with an emission region between 420 nm and 600 nm is obtained by controlling the growth rate at different positions on the same face,which also can provide multiple subcarrier frequency points for the employment of wavelength division multiplexing technology.The spontaneous emission rate distinction is narrowed by lowering the number of the crystal plane,ensuring a high modulation bandwidth over broadband.More importantly,the residual stress and dislocation density were minimized by employing a patterned substrate,and lateral overgrowth resulted in a further enhancement of the recombination rate.Finally,the total modulation bandwidth of multiple subcarriers of the asymmetric pyramids is beyond GHz.These ultrafast,multicolor microLEDs are viable for application in VLC systems and may also enable applications for intelligent lighting and display. | Zhenhuan Tian Qiang Li Xuzheng Wang Mingyin Zhang Xilin Su Ye Zhang Yufeng Li Feng Yun S.W.Ricky Lee | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,4: | 0 |
| 8 | The Mechanism Behind Urban Population Growth and Shrinkage from the Perspective of Urban Network Externalities显示文摘Urban shrinkage is a global phenomenon,and it will coexist with urban growth for many years.At the same time,the network connection between cities continuously improved due to the construction of the transportation and information networks.However,the relationship between urban network externalities and urban population growth/shrinkage remains unclear.Therefore,based on high-speed railway(HSR)flow data,a spatial econometric model is used to explore the mechanism behind urban population growth and shrinkage from the perspective of network externalities in China.The results indicate that:1)the urban network experiences a certain clubbing effect.Growing cities that are strongly connected are concentrated along China’s main railway lines and the southeastern coastal areas,while shrinking cities that are weakly connected are distributed at the periphery of the network.2)Moreover,the network externality disregards spatial distance and together with the agglomeration externality influences the growth and shrinking of cities.3)Urban economic development still promotes the development of Chinese cities.However,the improvement of the urban economy has a negative cross-regional spillover effect on neighboring cities due to urban competition.4)Lastly,Local spillovers of urban network externalities are positive,while cross-regional ones are negative.Consequently,the government needs to promote the construction of multi-dimensional network connections between cities to promote cities’sustainable development.This study reveals the relationship between urban network externalities and urban development,enriches the theories of network externalities and urban growth/shrinkage,and provides a reference for regional coordinated development. | ZHOU Ying ZHENG Wensheng WANG Xiaofang XIONG Yajun WANG Xuzheng | 2023 | Chinese Geographical Science2023,33,2: | 0 |
| 9 | Study on Method for Determination of Artemether Content in New Artemether Injection显示文摘This study was conducted to establish a high performance liquid chromatography( HPLC) method for the determination of artemether in the artemether injection using Hypersil ODS C18 chromatographic column( 5 μm,4. 6 mm × 150 mm). Mobile phase,column temperature,flow rate and detection wavelength were optimized. Acetonitrile-water-tetrahydrofuran( 62∶ 37∶ 1,V/V) was selected as the mobile phase,and the HPLC was performed with column temperature at30 ℃ and the flow rate at 1. 0 ml/min; and the detection wavelength was set at 216 nm. The HPLC detection system of artemether had good suitability. The linearity was good in 100-800 μg/ml concentration range,and the regression equation was y = 302. 36 x-682. 02,R2= 0. 999 8. The overall average recovery was97. 58%,and the RSD was 1. 58%. Three batches of artemether injection samples were determined by the method,showing RSD of 1. 42%.
