1Stable Lithium-Carbon Composite Enabled by Dual-Salt Additives显示文摘Lithium metal is regarded as the ultimate negative electrode material for secondary batteries due to its high energy density.However,it suffers from poor cycling stability because of its high reactivity with liquid electrolytes.Therefore,continuous efforts have been put into improving the cycling Coulombic efficiency(CE)to extend the lifespan of the lithium metal negative electrode.Herein,we report that using dual-salt additives of LiPF_(6) and LiNO_(3) in an ether solvent-based electrolyte can significantly improve the cycling stability and rate capability of a Li-carbon(Li-CNT)composite.As a result,an average cycling CE as high as 99.30% was obtained for the Li-CNT at a current density of 2.5 mA cm^(-2) and an negative electrode to positive electrode capacity(N/P)ratio of 2.The cycling stability and rate capability enhancement of the Li-CNT negative electrode could be attributed to the formation of a better solid electrolyte interphase layer that contains both inorganic components and organic polyether.The former component mainly originates from the decomposition of the LiNO_(3) additive,while the latter comes from the LiPF_(6)-induced ring-opening polymerization of the ether solvent.This novel surface chemistry significantly improves the CE of Li negative electrode,revealing its importance for the practical application of lithium metal batteries.Lei Zheng Feng Guo Tuo Kang Yingzhu Fan Wei Gu Yayun Mao Ya Liu Rong Huang Zhiyun Li Yanbin Shen Wei Lu Liwei Chen 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,7:3
2Highly stable lithium anode enabled by self-assembled monolayer of dihexadecanoalkyl phosphate显示文摘Li has been considered as the ultimate anode material for high energy density secondary Li batteries.However,its practical application has been limited due to its low Coulombic efficiency(CE)and the formation of lithium dendrites.Recently,we have developed a microspherical Li-carbon nanotube(Li-CNT)composite material passivated with octadecylphosphonic acid(OPA)self-assembled monolayer(SAM)exhibiting suppressed lithium dendrite formation and improved environmental/electrochemical stability.In this work,we demonstrated the significantly enhanced passivation effects of a SAM using dihexadecanoalkyl phosphate(DHP),a molecule that is comprised of double hydrophobic alkyl chains and forms a denser SAM on surfaces with large curvature.As a result,the DHP SAM delivers superior environmental and electrochemical stability to the OPA passivated Li-CNT material.In specific,the DHP passivated Li-CNT composite(DHP-Li-CNT)delivers a high CE of 99.25%under a 33.3%depth of discharge(DOD)at 1 C,when it is paired with a LiFePO4 cathode.The evolution of the SAM during cycling and the effects of DOD and current density on the CE of the DHP-Li-CNT anode have also been investigated.The improved SAM passivation constitutes an important step in achieving the goal of practically applicable Li anodes.Lei Zheng Feng Guo Tuo Kang Jin Yang Ya Liu Wei Gu Yanfei Zhao Hongzhen Lin Yanbin Shen Wei Lu Liwei Chen 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:1

4miR-4530 inhibits the malignant biological behaviors of human glioma cells by directly targeting RTEL1显示文摘Human glioma is the most com m on prim ary brain tumor and is associated with high morbidity and mortality.Aberrant expressions of microRNAs(miRNAs)are involved in gliom a progression.In the present study,we aimed to elucidate the roles of miR-4530 in the pathogenesis of gliomas.miR-4530 expression was examined in human gliom a clinical tissues and cell lines including U251 and T98G.The target gene of miR-4530,RTEL1,was predicted with online tools and validated by luciferase reporter assay.Lentivirus infection,transfection of plasmids,and miRNA m im ics were used to m anipulate gene expression.Cell proliferation was determined using the CCK-8 method,and m igration and invasion assays were determ ined w ith transwell experim ents.Colony form ation was measured by crystal violet staining,while apoptosis was determined by Annexin V/PI staining.The anti-tumor effects of miR-4530 were evaluated in nude mice xenografted using U251 cells.Our results showed that miR-4530 was significantly down-regulated in human gliom a tissues and cell iines.miR-4530 over-expression inhibited the malignant behaviors of U251 and T98G cells,including reduced proliferation,dim inished colony form ation,migration and invasion,and increased apoptosis.Further mechanistic investigations revealed that RTEL1 is a direct functional target of miR-4530 in gliom as,and its over-expression rem arkably reverses the effects of miR-4530 m im ics on inhibiting these m alignant behaviors.In addition,miR-4530 over-expression inhibited the growth of xenografted U251 gliom a in nude mice.Therefore,miR-4530 acts as atum or-suppressor gene and inhibits the m alignant biological behaviors of human glioma cells,which is associated w ith directly targeting RTEL1.The miR-4530/RTEL1 axis is a potential therapeutic target for gliomas.Tuo Wang Yan Zhang Bo Cui Maode Wang Ya Li Ke Gao 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,12:1

7Chemogenetic activation of sublaterodorsal tegmental glutamatergic neurons alleviates rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder symptoms in a chronic rat model of Parkinson disease显示文摘Rapid eye movement(REM)sleep behavior disorder(RBD)is a parasomnia that is featured by elevated motor behaviors and dream enactments during REM sleep.Clinical observations show that RBD bears significant relevance with several synucleinopathies such as Lewy body dementia and Parkinson disease(PD),and often develops prior to their diagnosis.Being a potential biomarker of PD,investigating the relationship of RBD symptoms and their emergence in developing PD would provide insight intoits pathogenesis.Here,in a chronic model of PD,rats with daily rotenone treatment exhibited key RBD features,including elevated sleep muscle tone,sleep fragmentation and EEG slowing at different time points.Based on detectedearly alpha synuclein aggregation and neural apoptosis in the sublaterodorsal tegmental nucleus(SLD),an area known to promote REM sleep and maintain sleep muscle atonia,the possible involvement of SLD glutamatergic neurons was interrogated.Via chemogenetic activation of SLD glutamatergic neurons,key RBD symptoms and EEG slowing in REM sleep were alleviated.These results are consistent with a progressive degeneration in REM sleep promoting pathways.Our findings provide a foundation for further studies into RBD and its relationship to neurodegenerative diseases.DU Li-da XU Lin-hao LIANg Tuo Yun-Kwok WING KE Ya Wing-Ho YUNG 2016中国药理学与毒理学杂志2016,30,10:0

9Features of the new climate normal 1991-2020 and possible influences on climate monitoring and prediction in China显示文摘An update on the climate norms each decade is recommended by the World Meteorological Organization(WMO)partly to keep pace with conditions as climate changes over time.In accordance with such update,this study documents the features of the new climate normal defined for 1991-2020 and its impacts on climate monitoring and prediction in China.With on-site observation and model prediction datasets,our analysis reveals that the new normal of national average precipitation of China during winter and summer is respectively 3.0 and 10.8 mm higher than that of the period 1981-2010.As a result,precipitation observations during 1961-2020 consistently fall below the new normal.The adjustment of thresholds for precipitation extremes with new climate normals results in a decrease of extreme precipitation occurrence by 0.2-0.8 d on average over the winter and summer seasons during 1961-2020.Meanwhile,the application of new climate normals induces more pronounced negative temperature anomalies across most areas of China.The adjustments of extreme temperature thresholds have led to an increased occurrence of extremely cold days by 1-2 d on average over 1961-2020,while the frequency of extremely hot days decreases by more than 1.4 d.Furthermore,it is implied that with the development of global warming,the baselines for temperature and precipitation are rising.The application of the new climate normal may result in the omission of relative threshold based extreme events,promoting increased focus on climate risk reduction studies.Additionally,the average anomaly sign consistency rates(Pcs)of precipitation and temperature anomaly predictions,relative to the new normal and produced by the Beijing Climate Center,are consistently lower than those relative to the old normal.This decrease in Pcs implies new challenges for climate prediction,especially for temperature prediction.Xiao-Juan WANG Ya TUO Xiao-Fan LI Guo-Lin FENG 2023Advances in Climate Change Research2023,14,6:0
10Evaluation of the efficacy and safety of endoscopic band ligation in the treatment of bleeding from mild to moderate gastric varices type 1显示文摘BACKGROUND According to practice guidelines,endoscopic band ligation(EBL)and endoscopic tissue adhesive injection(TAI)are recommended for treating bleeding from esophagogastric varices.However,EBL and TAI are known to cause serious complications,such as hemorrhage from dislodged ligature rings caused by EBL and hemorrhage from operation-related ulcers resulting from TAI.However,the optimal therapy for mild to moderate type 1 gastric variceal hemorrhage(GOV1)has not been determined.Therefore,the aim of this study was to discover an individualized treatment for mild to moderate GOV1.AIM To compare the efficacy,safety and costs of EBL and TAI for the treatment of mild and moderate GOV1.METHODS A clinical analysis of the data retrieved from patients with mild or moderate GOV1 gastric varices who were treated under endoscopy was also conducted.Patients were allocated to an EBL group or an endoscopic TAI group.The differences in the incidence of varicose relief,operative time,operation success rate,mortality rate within 6 wk,rebleeding rate,6-wk operation-related ulcer healing rate,complication rate and average operation cost were compared between the two groups of patients.RESULTS The total effective rate of the two treatments was similar,but the efficacy of EBL(66.7%)was markedly better than that of TAI(39.2%)(P<0.05).The operation success rate in both groups was 100%,and the 6-wk mortality rate in both groups was 0%.The average operative time(26 min)in the EBL group was significantly shorter than that in the TAI group(46 min)(P<0.01).The rate of delayed postoperative rebleeding in the EBL group was significantly lower than that in the TAI group(11.8%vs 45.1%)(P<0.01).At 6 wk after the operation,the healing rate of operation-related ulcers in the EBL group was 80.4%,which was significantly greater than that in the TAI group(35.3%)(P<0.01).The incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups was similar.The average cost and other related economic factors were greater for the EBL than for the TAI(P<0.01).CONCLUSION For mild to moderate GOV1,patients with EBL had a greater one-time varix eradication rate,a greater 6-wk operation-related ulcer healing rate,a lower delayed rebleeding rate and a lower cost than patients with TAI.Yue Deng Ya Jiang Tong Jiang Ling Chen Hai-Jun Mou Bi-Guang Tuo Guo-Qing Shi 2024World Journal of Gastroenterology2024,30,5:0
11Multiple regression analysis of the craniofacial region of Chinese Han people using linear and angular measurements based on MRI显示文摘The purpose of this study was to measure the craniofacial region of Chinese Han people in the linear and angular dimensions,and to analyse the effects on sex,age and body parameters(height and weight).All 250 individuals(86 males,164 females)underwent a three-dimensional magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)scan,and the MRI data were imported into VG Studio MAX 2.2 software.Each linear and angular measurement in the craniofacial region was processed directly.Using SPSS 20.0 software,nine multiple regression equations were constructed,and all the adjusted R^(2) values were statistically significant(0.031-0.311).Multiple regression analysis showed that most craniofacial measurements of Chinese people were significantly correlated with height,weight or age.The multiple regression equations constructed will be helpful in anthropometric analysis and forensic inference.Chengzhi Li Wei Wu Bo Zhu Xuefeng Liu Ping Huang Zhenyuan Wang Ya Tuo Fu Ren 2017Forensic Sciences Research2017,2,1:0
