1Studies on Factors Influencing Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Plates Used in Artificial Reefs显示文摘As a simplified model of artificial reefs, a series of plate models punched with square or circular openings are designed to investigate the effects of openings on the hydrodynamic characteristics of artificial reefs. The models are grouped by various opening numbers and opening-area ratios. They are physically tested in a water flume or used in the numerical simulation to obtain the drag force in the uniform flow with different speeds. The simulation results are found in good agreement with the experimental measurements. By the non-dimensional analysis, the drag coefficient specified to each model is achieved and the effects of openings are examined. It is found that the key factor affecting the drag coefficient is the open-area ratio. Generally, the drag coefficient is a linear function of the open area ratio with a minus slope. The empirical formulae for the square and circular openings respectively are deduced by means of the multiple regression analysis based on the measured and numerical data. They will be good references for the design of new artificial reefs. 3Preparation of Lung Targeting Microspheres of Gelatin Ceftiofur Alkali显示文摘Gelatin ceftiofur alkali microsphere was prepared to observe its characteristics and evaluate preservation conditions. The glutaraldehyde was increased and the carboxylic methyl chitosan was added to improve the microsphere. The experimental results show microspheres have a better morphology surface and fairly regular structure with 4% glutaraldehyde. The average particle size is 15.84 μm and particle size distribution is narrow which shows a good uniformity. Microsphere size was affected by the stirrer speed, dosing ratio and curing degree. The greater drug loaded is, the better microspheres loading is; but with the increase of drug loading rate, the entrapment efficiency increases first and then decreases. The drug release rate of the microsphere is 24.90% in 0.5 h and 84.90% in 48 h, when CMC-GMs with 4% curing agent is 32.03% in 0.5 h and 88.44% in 48 h. So Gms embedding of ceftiofur alkali are better than CMC-GM. 4Experimental Investigation of Local Scour Around Artificial Reefs in Steady Currents显示文摘Artificial reef is a man-made object that is deployed purposefully on the seafloor to restore the offshore fishery resources and the ecological environment.To secure its ecological effects,it is important to study the possible instability of artificial reefs,like drifting and reversing caused by burial and scour in different seafloor conditions.In the present study,experiments of local scour around an artificial reef are carried out in steady currents.The effect of the open-area ratios and the open-hole heights of the cubic reefs,and the bottom angles of the triangular reefs on the time-scale of the scour process and the equilibrium scour depth are investigated.The results indicate that for the cubic artificial reef,the scour depth decreases with the increasing open-area ratios,and increases with the increasing open-hole heights.In the present study,the optimal prototype of the cubic reef with an open-area ratio of 0.49 and open-height of 0.7 m produces the minimum scour depth.For the triangular reef,the scour depth increases when the bottom angle increases.Moreover,based on the experimental results,empirical equations of the effects of the cut-opening and the bottom angle on the maximum equilibrium scour depth are proposed.The formulas will provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the optimized design and construction of artificial reefs.TANG Yanli WEI Shuangwu YANG Mingda WANG Xinxin ZHAO Fenfang 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,2:0
5Fast extraction of winter wheat planting area in Huang-Huai-Hai Plain using high-resolution satellite imagery on a cloud computing platform显示文摘To extract regional winter wheat planting area using higher-resolution satellite imagery still faces many challenges due to large data size and long processing time in traditional remote sensing classification.Google Earth Engine(GEE),a cloud computing analysis platform based on global geospatial analysis,provides a new opportunity for rapid analysis of remote sensing data.In this study,high-quality Landsat-8 imagery was used to extract the winter wheat planting area from the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain in China.The random forest algorithm was used to identify and map the winter wheat sown in 2019 and harvested in 2020,and Sentinel-2 imagery was used to verify the results.The spectral indices,texture,and terrain features of the image were derived,and their contribution to the classification accuracy of winter wheat was evaluated by scoring.Then the top nine features were selected to form an optimal feature subset.Comparing the set of thirty-four features and the optimized feature subset as the input variables of the random forest classifier,the results show that the accuracy difference between the two feature classification schemes is small,but the classification effect of all feature sets is slightly better than the optimal feature subset.The overall classification accuracy of sample plots verification was 86%-95%,the Kappa coefficient was between 0.7 and 0.85,and the percentage error of the total area was 5.42%.The research demonstrates a reliable method for mapping a wide range of winter wheat planting area,and provides a good prospect for exploring the precise mapping of other crops,which is of great significance to crop monitoring and agricultural development.Dongyan Zhang Mengru Zhang Fenfang Lin Zhenggao Pan Fei Jiang Liang He Hang Yang Ning Jin 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,1:0
6Protective effects of Dioscin on TNF-α-induced collagen-induced arthritis rat fibroblast-like synoviocytes involves in regulating the LTB4/BLT pathway显示文摘Background and Objective:LTB4 has been shown to be involved in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)pathogenesis.The effect of Dioscin(Dio)on the LTB4 pathway of RA have not been reported yet.This study aimed at further exploring whether Dioscin’s effects on TNF-αinduced collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)rat fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS)connected with the LTB4 and its receptor pathway.Materials&Methods:In this experiment,control group,TNF-αgroup,and different concentrations of Dioscin groups were established.Cell viability was evaluated using MTT assay.The levels of LTB4 in the samples of above groups were measured using ELISA.The mRNA expression levels of LTA4H,BLT1,and BLT2 were detected by quantitative real time PCR,while the expression level of LTA4H proteins were detected using western blot.The distribution of LTA4H was assessed by immunofluorescence assay.Results:the LTB4 level of TNF-αgroup in sample supernatant was higher than both control group and Dioscin groups with decreased LTB4 levels(p<0.05).Compared with the control group,the expression of LTA4H was significantly increased in TNF-αgroup(p<0.05),whereas LTA4H expressions were significantly decreased in all Dioscin groups when compared to TNF-αgroup(p<0.05).The mRNA expressions of BLT1 and BLT2 were markedly higher in TNF-αgroup than those in control group while Dioscin treatment significantly inhibited the increased expressions of BLT1 and BLT2 induced by TNF-α(p<0.05).Conclusions:These results firstly demonstrate that the protective effect of Dioscin on TNF-αinduced FLS may involve in its reducing LTB4 production by down-regulating LTA4H expression,and may inhibit its downstream pathway by decreasing LTB4 receptors levels.This findings suggest that dioscin produces a potential therapeutic effects for RA via its influencing LTA4H/LTB4/BLT pathway.ZHIPING WEI YAJUN LIU MEIWEN YANG MENGDI LI KEXIN LI LUXI ZHENG HUIQIONG GUO FENFANG HONG SHULONG YANG 2021BIOCELL2021,45,4:0
7Effects of Trawl Selectivity and Genetic Parameters on Fish Body Length Under Long-Term Trawling显示文摘Long-term fishing pressure affects the biological characteristics of exploited fish stocks. The biological characteristics of hairtail(Trichiurus lepturus) in the East China Sea are unable to recover because of long-term trawling. Fishing induces evolutionary effects on the fish's biological characteristics. Evidence of these changes includes small size at age, a shift to earlier age structure, and early maturation. Natural and artificial selection usually affect the fish's life history. Selection can induce different chances of reproduction, and individual fish can give a different genetic contribution to the next generation. In this study, analysis of time-dependent probability of significance and test of sensitivity were used to explore the effects of fish exploitation rate, mesh size, and heritability with long-term trawling. Results showed that fishing parameters were important drivers to exploited fish population. However, genetic traits altered by fishing were slow, and the changes in biological characteristics were weaker than those caused by fishing selection. Exploitation rate and mesh size exhibited similar evolutionary trend tendency under long-term fishing. The time-dependent probability of significance trend showed a gradual growth and tended to be stable.
