1Numerical study of three phase shifts and dual corrugation pitch modulated(CPM) DFB semiconductor lasers based on reconstruction equivalent chirp technology显示文摘A distributed feedback(DFB) semiconductor laser with three phase shifts based on reconstruction equivalent chirp(REC) technology is proposed and investigated numerically.With the combination of multiple phase shifts and corrugation pitch modulated(CPM) structure,we also propose a novel and more complex structure named dual CPM,which has a flatter light power distribution along the laser cavity compared with the true double phase shifts DFB laser diode(LD),while the P-I curves are nearly the same.The proposed dual CPM structure is also designed and analyzed based on REC technology.The simulation results show that,the DFB semiconductor laser with complex structure such as phase shifts,or even arbitrary variation of the grating period can be achieved equivalently and easily by changing the sampling structure.But its external characteristics are almost the same as those DFB lasers with true phase shifts,or true arbitrary variation of the grating period.The key advantage of the REC technology is that it varies only the sampling structure and keeps the seed grating(actual grating in sampling structure) period constant.So its fabrication needs only low-cost and standard holographic exposure technology.Therefore we believe this method can achieve the high-end and low-cost DFB LD for mass production.SHI YueChun TU XingHua LI SiMin ZHOU YaTing JIA LingHui CHEN XiangFei 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,35:4
2Telomerase Activity in Condyloma Acuminatum Tissue with Different HPV Types显示文摘Summary: The telomerse activity in condyloma acuminatum (CA) tissue with human papillomavirus (HPV) types of 6/11 and 16/18 was detected to investigate the function of telomerase in the occurrence, development and carcinogenesis of genital CA. Forty-two biopsies from patients with gennital CA and 30 control tissue samples were tested for telomerase activity, HPV presence and types. The telomerase activity was determined by modified telomerase repeat amplification protocol (TRAP) assay and HPV typing by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with typing-specific primers. Results showed that HPV-DNA was negative and the expression rate of telomerase was 16.7 % in all normal skin samples. All CA samples were positive for HPV (6/11 type was found in 32 cases, 16/18 in 3 and mixed type in 7). Telomerase activity was detectable in all CA patients. The telomerase activity in CA of 16/18 type was apparently higher than in CA of 6/11 type. 5CO_(2)LASER PLUS PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY VERSUS CO_(2)LASER IN THE TREATMENT OF CONDYLOMA ACUMINATUM:A RANDOMIZED COMPARATIVE STUDY显示文摘To compare the efficacy and safety of CO_(2)laser plus 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA)photodynamic therapy(PDT)with CO_(2)laser for the treatment of multiple condyloma acuminatum(CA),120 patients with multiple CA were allocated into two groups—combined group(CO_(2)laser plus ALA-PDT,n=60)and CO_(2)laser group(CO_(2)laser plus placebo-PDT,n=60).After CO_(2)laser,a 20%ALA or a placebo solution was applied to the CA area 3 h before illumination with red light(635 nm,100mW/cm^(2),80 J/cm^(2)).The treatment was repeated seven days after the first treatment if the lesions were not completely resolved.The complete response rate,recurrence rate and adverse effects in the two groups were analyzed.After two treatments,the complete response rates in the CO_(2)laser group and combined group were 100%(509/509)and 100%(507/507)in the CA(p>0:05),respectively.The recurrence rates in the CO_(2)laser group and combined group were 44.9%(229/509)and 10.6%(54/507)in the CA(p<0:05),respectively.The adverse effects in CO_(2)laser group was more than that in combined group.The combined group is a more effective treatment for multiple CA compared with CO_(2)laser group.T/S.Style the highlighted text as abstract.HUIFENG LIU PING ZHANG XIANGJIE AN LIU YANG YAN LI YUJUE WANG FIRAS HAMZE JUAN TAO YATING TU 2012Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2012,5,1:0
6Comparative analysis of plastomes in Oxalidaceae:Phylogenetic relationships and potential molecular markers显示文摘The wood sorrel family,Oxalidaceae,is mainly composed of annual or perennial herbs,a few shrubs,and trees distributed from temperate to tropical zones.Members of Oxalidaceae are of high medicinal,ornamental,and economic value.Despite the rich diversity and value of Oxalidaceae,few molecular markers or plastomes are available for phylogenetic analysis of the family.Here,we reported four new whole plastomes of Oxalidaceae and compared them with plastomes of three species in the family,as well as the plastome of Rourea microphylla in the closely related family Connaraceae.The eight plastomes ranged in length from 150,673 bp(Biophytum sensitivum)to 156,609 bp(R.microphylla).Genome annotations revealed a total of 129e131 genes,including 83e84 protein-coding genes,eight rRNA genes,37 tRNA genes,and two to three pseudogenes.Comparative analyses showed that the plastomes of these species have minor variations at the gene level.The smaller plastomes of herbs B.sensitivum and three Oxalis species are associated with variations in IR region sizes,intergenic region variation,and gene or intron loss.We identified sequences with high variation that may serve as molecular markers in taxonomic studies of Oxalidaceae.The phylogenetic trees of selected superrosid representatives based on 76 protein-coding genes corroborated the Oxalidaceae position in Oxalidales and supported it as a sister to Connaraceae.Our research also supported the monophyly of the COM(Celastrales,Oxalidales,and Malpighiales)clade.Xiaoping Li Yamei Zhao Xiongde Tu Chengru Li Yating Zhu Hui Zhong Zhong-Jian Liu Shasha Wu Junwen Zhai 2021Plant Diversity2021,43,4:0
