2Impact of the Built Environment on the Spatial Heterogeneity of Regional Innovation Productivity:Evidence from the Pearl River Delta,China显示文摘With the global economy increasingly dependent on innovation,urban discourse has shifted to consider what kinds of spatial designs may best nurture innovation.We examined the relationship between the built environment and the spatial heterogeneity of regional innovation productivity(RIP)using the example of China's Pearl River Delta(PRD).Based on a spatial database of 522546 patent data from 2017,this study proposed an innovation-based built environment framework with the following five aspects:healthy en-vironment,daily interaction,mixed land use,commuting convenience,and technology atmosphere.Combining negative binomial regression and Geodetector to examine the impact of the built environment on RIP,the results show that the spatial distribution of innovation productivity in the PRD region is extremely uneven.The negative binomial regression results show that the built environment has a significant impact on the spatial differentiation of RIP,and,specifically,that healthy environment,mixed land use,commuting convenience,and technology atmosphere all demonstrate significant positive impacts.Meanwhile,the Geodetector results show that the built environment factor impacts the spatial heterogeneity of RIP to varying degrees,with technology atmosphere demonstrating the greatest impact intensity.We conclude that as regional development discourse shifts focus to the knowledge and innovation economy,the innovation-oriented design and updating of built environments will become extremely important to policymakers.WU Kangmin WANG Yang ZHANG Hong’ou LIU Yi YE Yuyao 2021Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,3:5

6Prediction of fiber Rayleigh scattering responses based on deep learning显示文摘Distributed acoustic sensing(DAS) is a fiber sensing technology based on Rayleigh scattering,which transforms optical fiber into a series of sensing units. It has become an indispensable part in the field of seismic monitoring, vehicle tracking, and pipeline monitoring. Fiber Rayleigh scattering responses lay at the core of DAS. However, there are few in-depth studies on the purpose of acquiring fiber Rayleigh scattering responses. In this paper, we establish a deep learning framework based on the bidirectional gated recurrent unit, which is the first time to predict the fiber Rayleigh scattering responses, to the best of our knowledge. The deep learning framework is trained with a numerical simulation dataset only, but it can process experimental data successfully. Moreover, since the responses could have a wider effective bandwidth than the experimental probing pulses, a finer spatial resolution could be obtained after demodulation. 7Fast and flexible stack‐based inverse tone mapping显示文摘Inverse tone mapping technique is widely used to restore the lost textures from a single low dynamic range image.Recently,many stack‐based deep inverse tone mapping networks have achieved impressive results by estimating a set of multi‐exposure images from a single low dynamic range input.However,there are still some limitations.On the one hand,these methods usually set a fixed length for the estimated multi‐exposure stack,which may introduce computational redundancy or cause inaccurate results.On the other hand,they neglect that the difficulties of estimating each exposure value are different and use the identical model to increase or decrease exposure value.To solve these problems,the authors design an exposure decision network to adaptively determine the number of times the exposure of low dynamic range input should be increased or decreased.Meanwhile,the authors decouple the increasing/decreasing process into two sub‐modules,exposure adjustment and optional detail recovery,based on the characteristics of different variations of exposure values.With these improvements,this method can fast and flexibly estimate the multi‐exposure stack from a single low dynamic range image.Experiments on several datasets demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method compared to state‐of‐the‐art inverse tone mapping methods.Ning Zhang Yuyao Ye Yang Zhao Xufeng Li Ronggang Wang 2023CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2023,8,4:0
8Robust Joule-heating ceramic reactors for catalytic CO oxidation显示文摘Joule-heating reactors have the higher energy efficiency and product selectivity compared with the reactors based on radiative heating.Current Joule-heating reactors are constructed with electrically-conductive metals or carbon materials,and therefore suffer from stability issue due to the presence of corrosive or oxidizing gases during high-temperature reactions.In this study,chemicallystable and electrically-conductive(La_(0.80)Sr_(0.20))_(0.95)FeO_(3)(LSF)/Gd_(0.1)Ce_(0.9)O_(2)(GDC)ceramics have been used to construct Joule-heating reactors for the first time.Taking the advantage of the resistance decrease of the ceramic reactors with temperature increase,the ceramic reactors heated under current control mode achieved the automatic adjustment of heating to stabilize reactor temperatures.In addition,the electrical resistance of LSF/GDC reactors can be tuned by the content of the highconductive LSF in composite ceramics and ceramic density via sintering temperature,which offers flexibility to control reactor temperatures.The ceramic reactors with dendritic channels(less than 100μm in diameter)showed the catalytic activity for CO oxidation,which was further improved by coating efficient MnO_(2)nanocatalyst on reactor channel wall.The Joule-heating ceramic reactors achieved complete CO oxidation at a low temperature of 165℃.Therefore,robust ceramic reactors have successfully demonstrated effective Joule heating for CO oxidation,which are potentially applied in other high-temperature catalytic reactions.Fangsheng LIU Zhibo ZHAO Yuyao MA Yi GAO Jiajie LI Xun HU Zhengmao YE Yihan LING Dehua DONG 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,7:0
