1Liver transplantation for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma at the Liver Cancer Institute of Fudan University, China显示文摘Background Selection of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) for orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) remains controversial. Since there is a trend to expand the transplant criteria for HCC patients, we reviewed the data of patients with HCC who had received OLT at our institute to determine their survival and prognostic factors.Methods A total of 67 patients with HCC who had undergone OLT from April 2001 through December 2003 were reviewed retrospectively. Selection OLT candidates with HCC was dependent on the anatomical characteristics and/or the severity of underlying liver cirrhosis. The 67 patients were followed up for more than 6 months after transplantation. Their survival rate was calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method. Univariate and multivariate analyses using the Cox proportional hazards regression model were performed to reveal the factors affecting the survival rate.Results No perioperative death occurred in this series. The 1- and 2-year cumulative survival rates were 90.0% and 65.6%, and the disease-free survival (DFS) rates were 77.5% and 62.5% respectively. Univariate analysis revealed the tumor size, portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT), serum alpha-fetoprotein level, bilobular distribution of tumors, pTNM stage and histological differentiation were statistically significant factors affecting the DFS ( P <0.05). Multivariate analysis showed tumor size and PVTT were independent and statistically significant factors affecting the DFS ( P =0.005 and 0.010, respectively). In this series, all but 2 received systemic chemotherapy, among them 13 had tumor recurrence within 8 months after OLT. Conclusions OLT is indicated for patients with HCC, even for some patients with end-stage liver disease who may survive longer without tumor recurrence. 3草鱼呼肠孤病毒的三维重构与衣壳蛋白特性显示文摘草鱼呼肠孤病毒(grass carp reovirus,GCRV)为呼肠孤病毒科水生呼肠孤病毒属一新成员.最新的基因组序列分析发现,GCRV与哺乳动物呼肠孤病毒(mammalian reovirus,MRV)具有高度的同源性.为了解GCRV致病机理,进行了分辨率达到17?的三维重构与衣壳蛋白特性研究.结果表明:GCRV颗粒呈多层排列,包括RNA核心与内壳层、中间层及外壳层.由200个按T=13对称排列的三聚体组成外衣壳,其典型特征是在5次轴上出现三聚体缺失凹陷区,暴露出中间层三聚体亚单位.内壳层由120个单体组成,按T=1排列,结构特点与呼肠孤病毒科成员内衣壳特征相一致.衣壳蛋白电泳显示,GCRV颗粒含有7种蛋白(VP1-VP7)组分,与MRV衣壳蛋白特性相近,两者在衣壳结构组成上的相似性与基因组序列的高度同源性相吻合.此结果对进一步研究GCRV与宿主细胞相互作用机理具有指导意义.方勤 Sanket Shah Yuyao Liang Z.H.Zhou 2005中国科学(C辑)2005,35,3:14
4Thermally conductive polyvinyl alcohol composite films via introducing hetero-structured MXene@silver fillers显示文摘Ag nanoparticles were in-situ grown on the surface of MXene nanosheets to prepare thermally conductive hetero-structured MXene@Ag fillers.With polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as the polymer matrix,thermally conductive MXene@Ag/PVA composite films were fabricated by the processes of solution blending,pouring,evaporative self-assembly.With the same mass fraction,MXene@Ag-III(MXene/Ag,2:1,w/w)presents more significant improvement in thermal conductivity coefficient(λ)than MXene@Ag,single MXene,Ag,simply blending MXene/Ag.MXene@Ag-III/PVA composite films show dual functions of excellent thermal conductivity and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding.When the mass fraction of MXene@Ag-III is 60 wt.%,the in-planeλ(λ_(∥)),through-planeλ(λ_(⊥)),EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)are 3.72 and 0.41 W/(m∙K),32 dB,which are increased by 3.1,1.3,105.7 times than those of pure PVA film(0.91 and 0.18 W/(m∙K),0.3 dB),respectively.The 60 wt.%MXene@Ag-III/PVA composite film also has satisfying mechanical and thermal properties,with Young’s modulus,glass transition temperature,heat resistance index of 3.8 GPa,58.5 and 175.3℃,respectively.Mukun Li Yuyao Sun Dianying Feng Kunpeng Ruan Xia Liu Junwei Gu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:10
5Traditional mortar represented by sticky rice lime mortar——One of the great inventions in ancient China显示文摘The development of traditional lime-based bond in ancient times was reviewed in this paper.It was proved by a lot of historical data that the application of organic materials in inorganic mortar was a sharp-cut characteristic during the developing process of construction gelled materials in ancient China.The important role sticky rice mortar ever played and the historical significance were revealed.Due to the excellent performance,such as high adhesive strength,good toughness,water-proof and so on,traditional mortar represented by sticky rice mortar should be one of the greatest technological contributions of the day in the world.Modern technology was employed in the study of the sticky rice lime mortar and the researching results of our laboratory and some researchers,including the compo-sition and the mechanism of solidification,were also presented.It was found that the sticky rice acted as a matrix of bio-mineralization which affected the microstructure of the calcium carbonate crystal and there was cooperation between sticky rice and calcite produced during the solidifying of the sticky rice mortar,which maybe lead to the excellent performance of the mortar.Because of excellent performance and importance in science,sticky rice mortar can be regarded as one of the greatest inventions in construction history of China.Relative research of sticky mortar will be of importance for the exploring of ancient momentous invention and the repairing of ancient construction.YANG FuWei ZHANG BingJian PAN ChangChu ZENG YuYao 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,6:7
6Impact of the Built Environment on the Spatial Heterogeneity of Regional Innovation Productivity:Evidence from the Pearl River Delta,China显示文摘With the global economy increasingly dependent on innovation,urban discourse has shifted to consider what kinds of spatial designs may best nurture innovation.We examined the relationship between the built environment and the spatial heterogeneity of regional innovation productivity(RIP)using the example of China's Pearl River Delta(PRD).Based on a spatial database of 522546 patent data from 2017,this study proposed an innovation-based built environment framework with the following five aspects:healthy en-vironment,daily interaction,mixed land use,commuting convenience,and technology atmosphere.Combining negative binomial regression and Geodetector to examine the impact of the built environment on RIP,the results show that the spatial distribution of innovation productivity in the PRD region is extremely uneven.The negative binomial regression results show that the built environment has a significant impact on the spatial differentiation of RIP,and,specifically,that healthy environment,mixed land use,commuting convenience,and technology atmosphere all demonstrate significant positive impacts.Meanwhile,the Geodetector results show that the built environment factor impacts the spatial heterogeneity of RIP to varying degrees,with technology atmosphere demonstrating the greatest impact intensity.We conclude that as regional development discourse shifts focus to the knowledge and innovation economy,the innovation-oriented design and updating of built environments will become extremely important to policymakers.WU Kangmin WANG Yang ZHANG Hong’ou LIU Yi YE Yuyao 2021Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,3:5
7Multifunctional Flexible Humidity Sensor Systems Towards Noncontact Wearable Electronics显示文摘In the past decade,the global industry and research attentions on intelligent skin-like electronics have boosted their applications in diverse fields including human healthcare,Internet of Things,human–machine interfaces,artificial intelligence and soft robotics.Among them,flexible humidity sensors play a vital role in noncontact measurements relying on the unique property of rapid response to humidity change.This work presents an overview of recent advances in flexible humidity sensors using various active functional materials for contactless monitoring.Four categories of humidity sensors are highlighted based on resistive,capacitive,impedance-type and voltage-type working mechanisms.Furthermore,typical strategies including chemical doping,structural design and Joule heating are introduced to enhance the performance of humidity sensors.Drawing on the noncontact perception capability,human/plant healthcare management,human-machine interactions as well as integrated humidity sensor-based feedback systems are presented.The burgeoning innovations in this research field will benefit human society,especially during the COVID-19 epidemic,where cross-infection should be averted and contactless sensation is highly desired.Yuyao Lu Geng Yang Yajing Shen Huayong Yang Kaichen Xu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,9:5
8Acquisition algorithm assisted by AGC control voltage for DSSS signals显示文摘An appropriate acquisition configuration in terms of signal quality can optimize the acquisition performance. In view of this, a new approach of acquisition assisted by the control voltage of automatic gain control(AGC) is proposed. This approach judges the signal power according to the AGC control voltage and switches the working modes correspondingly and adaptively. Non-coherent accumulation times and the detection threshold are reconfigured according to the working mode. 9Digital AGC Based on Coherent Adjustment Cycle for DSSS Receiver显示文摘In order to meet the requirements for zero value stability of direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS) signal processing in high dynamic scenario,digital automatic gain control(AGC) is employed to regulate power.However,conventional AGC causes degradation in the synchronization performance of DSSS receiver.Based on the theoretical analysis of the influence of digital AGC on DSSS signal synchronization,this paper proposes a new AGC algorithm,which is applicable to multi-channel digital DSSS signal receiver.By making power adjustment cycle and synchronization cycle coherent with each other adaptively,the influence of digital AGC on subsequent synchronization processing has been eliminated.Theoretical analysis,simulation results and experimental data verify the validity of the proposed algorithm.By virtue of the proposed algorithm,the influence of digital AGC on DSSS signal synchronization is eliminated.This algorithm applies to an aerospace engineering project successfully.SHEN Yuyao WANG Yongqing SHENG Dewei WU Siliang 2015China Communications2015,12,2:3
10A modified similitude analysis method for the electro-mechanical performances of a parallel manipulator to solve the control period mismatch problem显示文摘Due to the discrete feature and performance limitation of the numerical controller,the control period sometimes cannot meet the constraints of the scaled model in similitude analysis,which brings the control period mismatch problem.The traditional similitude analysis methods are not able to solve this problem since the controller is treated as continuous system in these methods.This paper proposes a modified similitude analysis method to solve the control period mismatch problem,and the electro-mechanical performances of a 2-DOF parallel manipulator is predicted.Based on the model of dynamic and control system,most of the similitude laws are derived by taking the controller as continuous system.Then the transfer function of the controller in discrete form is established,and the similitude law related to control period is derived to figure out the cause of mismatch problem.The modified method,named long period equivalent,is proposed to solve the mismatch problem by using the least square method and superposition principles.Finally,the scaled model of the parallel manipulator is determined based on the modified similitude analysis method.WU Jun SONG YuYao LIU ZiLin LI GuoFa 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,3:3
11Novel Cascaded Z-Source Neutral Point Clamped Inverter显示文摘Z-source Neutral point clamped(NPC) inverter inherits the advantages of Z-source inverter, which can buck-boost energy and allow the shoot-through states.At the same time, Z-source NPC inverter has high running efficiency and less harmonic content. Hence, it can be widely used in motor drives and fuel cell applications.When increasing the modulation index, one can only get smaller shoot through value in Z-source NPC inverter,therefore the output voltage of the inverter can not be boosted very high. In this paper, a novel cascaded Z-source neutral point clamped inverter is proposed by cascading two Z-source networks in series. An Alternative phase opposition disposition(APOD) carrier-based modulator is applied to control the proposed Z-source inverter. To confirm the operating principle of the new Z-source NPC inverter, a generic APOD carrier-based modulator for the cascaded Z-source NPC Inverter under Matlab/Sinmulink is built. The simulation results show that the boost factor has been increased from 1/(1- 2D) for the traditional Z source NPC inverter to 1/(1- 4D) for the proposed cascaded Z-source NPC inverter. A prototype of the cascaded Z-source NPC inverter has been set up. 12High Sensitivity Acquisition Algorithm for DSSS Signal with Data Modulation显示文摘In direct sequence spread spectrum communication both for satelliteto-ground and inter-satellite links, the system constrains due to radio frequency spectral occupation, channel data throughput and link performances in terms of data channel coding which might result in a signal structure where the symbol duration is shorter than the pseudo code period. This can generate some difficulties in the DSSS signal acquisition due to the polarity inversion caused by the data modulation. To eliminate the influence due to polarity inversion, this paper proposes a novel acquisition algorithm based on the simultaneous search of the code phase, data phase and Doppler frequency. In the proposed algorithm the data phase is predicted and the correlation period for the coherent integration can be set equal to the symbol duration. Then non-coherent accumulation over different symbol is implemented in order to enhance the acquisition algorithm sensitivity; the interval of non-coherent accumulation is the least common multiple between the symbol duration and the pseudo code period. The algorithm proposed can largely minimize the SNR loss caused by data polarity inversion and enhance acquisition performance without a noticeable increase in hardware complexity. 13A fast boundary protection for an AC transmission line connected to an LCCHVDC inverter station显示文摘For AC transmission lines connected to an LCC-HVDC inverter station,commutation failure can lead to the wrong operation of traditional protection.To solve the problem,this paper proposes a fast protection scheme using transient information from one end of the AC line.The boundary frequency characteristics of the AC line connected to LCC-HVDC inverter are analyzed first.This reveals the existence of significant attenuation on both high frequency signals and some specific frequency signals.Based on the boundary characteristics,a novel boundary protection principle utilizing a backward traveling wave is then proposed.A PSCAD/EMTDC simulation model of a±800 kV LCC-HVDC and 500 kV AC transmission system is established,and different fault cases are simulated.The simulation results prove that the novel protection principle is immune to commutation failure,fault resistance and fault type.Zhen Liu Houlei Gao Sibei Luo Le Zhao Yuyao Feng 2020Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2020,5,1:2

15Exposure to dibutyl phthalate impairs lipid metabolism and causes inflammation via disturbing microbiota-related gut-liver axis显示文摘Dibutyl phthalate(DBP),a kind of typical environm ental pollutant,is widely used as plasticizers,and its neurotoxicity and developm ental toxicity have been found in recent years.However,whether oral DBP exposure w ill affect the homeostasis of gut m icrobiota and its adverse response in liver of m am m alians remain unclear.In the present study,10-week experimental cycles of vehicle or DBP(0.1 and 1mg/kg)were given to 6-week-old C57BL/6J mice by oral gavage.Our results revealed that the body weight of mice was increased after exposure to both low and high doses of DBP.The serum levels of hepatic triglyceride and total cholesterol were significantly increased in response to both doses of DBP.In addition,some pivotal genes related to lipogenesis were also increased in liver at the mRNA level.Evaluation of gut m icrobiota by 16S rRNA sequencing technology showed that 0.1 mg/kg DBP exposure significantly affected gut microbiota at the phylum and genus levels.Moreover,DBP exposure decreased mucus secretion and caused inflam m ation in the gut,leading to the im pairm ent of intestinal barrier function.Exposure to OBP inhibited the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-y and activated the expression of nuclear factor kappa B.In addition,DBP exposure increased the level of lipopolysaccharide in serum,and increased the expression of toll-like receptor 4 and the levels of inflam m atory cytokines,such as interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,and tumor necrosis factor alpha,in the liver.These results indicated that exposure to DBP disturbed the homeostasis of gut m icrobiota,induced hepatic lipid m etabolism disorder,and caused liver inflam mation in mice via the related gut-liver axis signaling pathways.Ze Xiong Yuyao Zeng Jiafeng Zhou Ruonan Shu Xiaoxian Xie Zhengwei Fu 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,12:2
16Lessons from the Mainland of China’s Epidemic Experience in the First Phase about the Growth Rules of Infected and Recovered Cases of COVID-19 Worldwide显示文摘The first phase of the novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)that emerged at the end of 2019 has been brought under control in the mainland of China in March,while it is still spreading globally.When the pandemic will end is a question of great concern.A logistic model that depicts the growth rules of infected and recovered cases in China’s mainland may shed some light on this question.This model well explained the data by 13 April from 31 countries that have been experiencing serious COVID-2019 outbreaks(R2≥0.95).Based on this model,the semi-saturation period(SSP)of infected cases in those countries ranges from 3 March to 18 June.According to the linear relationship between the growth rules for infected and for recovered cases identified from the Chinese data,we predicted that the SSP of the recovered cases outside China ranges from 22 March to 8 July.More importantly,we found a strong positive correlation between the SSP of infected cases and the timing of a government’s response.Finally,this model was also applied to four regions that went through other coronavirus or Ebola virus epidemics(R2≥0.95).There is a negative correlation between the death rate and the logistic growth rate.These findings provide strong evidence for the effectiveness of rapid epidemic control measures in various countries.Chuanliang Han Yimeng Liu Jiting Tang Yuyao Zhu Carlo Jaeger Saini Yang 2020International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2020,11,4:2
