| 1 | Recent progress in computational thermal radiative transfer显示文摘The equation describing the transfer of radiant energy in semitransparent media is radiative transfer equation. In three-dimensional semitransparent media, radiative intensity is a function of 7 dimensions, which can only be solved through the numerical method in most circumstances. Numerical simulation has become an important way in the study and application of the theory of thermal radiative transfer in semitransparent media. | 2 | Curative effect of Xuebijing injection on severe pulmonary contusion显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the curative effects of Xuebijing(XBJ) injection, a Chinese patent medicine, on severe pulmonary contusion(PC). METHODS: Sixty-three patients with PC were randomized to conventional therapy plus XBJ injection(n=33) or conventional therapy alone(n=30). Between groups differences in corticosteroid treatment, immune regulation therapy, hemofiltration, infusion volume, transfusion volume and antibiotic period were measured, as were intensive care unit (ICU)-free time, ventilation time, 28-day mortality rate and incidence of ventilation-associated pneumonia(VAP). Serum concentrations of procalcitonin(PCT), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin(IL)-6, and IL-10, white blood cell(WBC) counts and percentages of human leukocyte antigen DR/ CD14+(HLA-DR/CD14+) peripheral blood mononuclear cells were compared. Markers of ventilation were determined by blood gas analysis and ventilator parameters. RESULTS: WBC counts and serum concentrations of PCT, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-10 were reduced significantly more quickly, and CD14+ percentage was increased significantly earlier, in the XBJ group than in the control group(P<0.05 each).The level of ventilation and oxygenation index were ameliorated earlier in the XBJ than in the control group(P< 0.05). XBJ treatment significantly reduced ICU-stay time, ventilation time and incidence of VAP(P<0.05 each), but had no effect on 28-day mortality rate(P>0.05). CONCLUSION: XBJ treatment can shorten ICU-free and ventilation times and reduce the incidence of VAP, improving outcomes in patients with severe PC. | 4 | An anther-specific chalcone synthase-like gene D5 related to rice pollen development显示文摘It was shown in a previous analysis that D5 gene from rice (Oryza sativa L.) was an anther-specific gene encoding a chalcone synthase-related protein. In this study, D5 gene was found specifically expressed in tapetum cells as well as in the peripheral cells of the vascular bundle of rice anthers by RNA in situ hybridization. In order to study its function, D5 was transformed into rice in both sense and antisense directions driven by a rice Actin 1 promoter. | 10 | Surface passivation and hole extraction:Bifunctional interfacial engineering toward high-performance all-inorganic CsPbIBr2 perovskite solar cells with efficiency exceeding 12%显示文摘All-inorganic CsPbIBr2perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted considerable research attention in recent years due to their excellent thermal stability.However,their power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)are relatively low and still far below the theoretical limit.Here,we report the use of an organic dye molecule(namely VG1-C8)as a bifunctional interlayer between perovskite and the hole-transport layer in CsPbIBr2PSCs.Combined experimental and theoretical calculation results disclose that the multiple Lewis base sites in VG1-C8 can effectively passivate the trap states on the perovskite films.Meanwhile,theπ-conjugated dye molecule significantly accelerates the hole extraction from the perovskite absorber as evidenced by the photoluminescence analysis.Consequently,the VG1-C8 treatment simultaneously boosts the photovoltage and photocurrent density values from 1.26 V and 10.80 mA cm^(-2) to 1.31 V and 12.44 m A cm^(-2),respectively.This leads to a significant enhancement of PCE from 9.20%to12.10%under one sun irradiation(AM 1.5G).To our knowledge,this is the record efficiency reported so far for CsPbIBr_(2) PSCs.Thus,the present work demonstrates an effective interfacial passivation strategy for the development of highly efficient PSCs. | Qi Liu Junming Qiu Xianchang Yan Yuemeng Fei Yue Qiang Qingyan Chang Yi Wei Xiaoliang Zhang Wenming Tian Shengye Jin Ze Yu Licheng Sun | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11: | 0 |
| 11 | Boosting wheat functional genomics via an indexed EMS mutant library of KN9204显示文摘A better understanding of wheat functional genomics can improve targeted breeding for better agronomic traits and environmental adaptation.However,the lack of gene-indexed mutants and the low transformation efficiency of wheat limit in-depth gene functional studies and genetic manipulation for breeding.In this study,we created a library for KN9204,a popular wheat variety in northern China,with a reference genome,transcriptome,and epigenome of different tissues,using ethyl methyl sulfonate(EMS)mutagenesis.This library contains a vast developmental diversity of critical tissues and transition stages.Exome capture sequencing of 2090 mutant lines using KN9204 genome-designed probes revealed that 98.79%of coding genes had mutations,and each line had an average of 1383 EMS-type SNPs.We identified new allelic variations for crucial agronomic trait-related genes such as Rht-D1,Q,TaTB1,and WFZP.We tested 100 lines with severemutations in 80 NAC transcription factors(TFs)under drought and salinity stress and identified 13 lines with altered sensitivity.Further analysis of three lines using transcriptome and chromatin accessibility data revealed hundreds of direct NAC targets with altered transcription patterns under salt or drought stress,including SNAC1,DREB2B,CML16,and ZFP182,factors known to respond to abiotic stress.Thus,we have generated and indexed a KN9204 EMS mutant library that can facilitate functional genomics research and offer resources for genetic manipulation of wheat. | Dongzhi Wang Yongpeng Li Haojie Wang Yongxin Xu Yiman Yang Yuxin Zhou Zhongxu Chen Yuqing Zhou Lixuan Gui Yi Guo Chunjiang Zhou Wenqiang Tang Shuzhi Zheng Lei Wang Xiulin Guo Yingjun Zhang Fa Cui Xuelei Lin Yuling Jiao Yuehui He Junming Li Fei He Xigang Liu Jun Xiao | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,4: | 0 |
