4High performance liquid chromatographic separation of thirteen drugs collected in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010(Ch.P2010) on cellulose ramification chiral stationary phase显示文摘The enantiomers separation of thirteen drugs collected in Ch.P2010 was performed on chiral stationary phase of cellulose ramification (chiralpak OD and chiralpak OJ) by high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) methods, which included ibuprofen (C1), ketoprofen (C2), nitrendipine (C3), nimodipine (C4), felodipine (C5), omeprazole (C6), praziquantel (C7), propranolol hydrochloride (C8), atenolol (C9), sulpiride (C10), clenbuterol hydrochloride (C11), verapamil hydrochloride (C12), and chlorphenamine maleate (C13). The mobile phase consisted of isopropanol and n-hexane. The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm and the fiow rate was 0.7 mL/min. The enantiomers separation of these thirteen racemates on chiralpak OD column and chiralpak OJ column was studied, while the effects of proportion of organic additives, alcohol displacer and temperature on the separation were studied. And the mechanism of some of racemates was discussed. The results indicated that thirteen chiral drugs could be separated onchiral stationary phase of cellulose ramification in normal phase chromatographic system. The chromatographic retention and resolution of enantiomers could be adjusted by factors including column temperature and the concentration of alcohol displacer and organic alkaline modifier in mobile phase. It was shown that the resolution was improved with reducing concentration of alcohol displacer. When concentration of organic alkaline modifier was 0.2% (v/v), the resolution and the peak shape were fairly good. Most racemates mentioned above had better resolution at column temperature of 25 1C. 7Hemolysis of PM_(10) on RBCs in vitro:An indoor air study in a coal-burning lung cancer epidemic area显示文摘Epidemiological studies have suggested that inhalation exposure to indoor ambient air from coal-burning environments is causally associated with respiratory health risks.In order to explore the toxicological mechanisms behind the adverse health effects,the hemolytic activity of PM_(10)(particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of 10 um or less)samples collected from homes burning coal in the recognized China'cancer village'Xuanwei were evaluated and matched against their trace elemental contents.The results demonstrated that the hemolytic activity of indoor PM_(10) in coal-burning environments ranged from 4.28%to 5.24%,with a clear positive dose-response relationship.Although low dose samples exhibited a reduced hemolytic activity,PM_(10) could have a toxic effect upon people in a coal-burning indoor environment for extended time periods.The concentrations of analyzed trace elements in PM_(10) samples ranged from 6966 to 12,958 ppm.Among the analyzed elements,Zn,Ti,Ni,Cu,Pb,Ba,Mn,Cr and V were found at higher concentrations and accounted for over 95%of the total elements.The concentrations of total analyzed elements in the PM_(10) samples revealed a significant positive correlation with PM_(10) hemolytic activity.Of the analyzed elements,Zn,Pb and Cs positively correlated with hemolysis,while Li,U and V negatively correlated with the hemolysis of human red blood cells(RBCs).Therefore,the heavy metal elements could be one of the main factors responsible for the hemolytic capacity of indoor PM_(10) in coal-burning environments.Mengyuan Zhang Longyi Shao Tim Jones Ying Hu Rachel Adams Kelly BéruBé 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,1:2
8Realization of laser textured brass surface via temperature tuning for surface wettability transition显示文摘Superhydrophobic surfaces have attracted extensive interests and researches into their fundamentals and potential applications.Laser texturing provides the convenience to fabricate the hierarchical micro/nanostructures for superhydrophobicity.However,after laser texturing,long wettability transition time from superhydrophilicity to superhydrophobicity is a barrier to mass production and practical industrial applications.External stimuli have been applied to change the surface composition and/or the surface morphology to reduce wettability transition time.Herein,by temperature tuning,wettability transition of laser textured brass surfaces is investigated.Scanning electron microscopy and surface contact angle measurement are employed to characterize the surface morphology and wettability behavior of the textured brass surfaces.By low-temperature heating(100℃~150℃),partial deoxidation of the top Cu O layer occurs to form hydrophobic Cu_2O.Therefore,superhydrophobicity without any chemical coating and surface modification could be achieved in a short time.Furthermore,after low-temperature heating,the low adhesive force between the water droplet and the sample surface is demonstrated for the laser textured brass surface.This study provides a simple method to fabricate the micro/nanostructure surfaces with controllable wettability for the potential applications.Huangping Yan Mohamed Raiz B Abdul Rashid Si Ying Khew Fengping Li Minghui Hong 2017光电工程2017,44,6:2
