1Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. 4Identification of Suitable Hydrologic Response Unit Thresholds for Soil and Water Assessment Tool Streamflow Modelling显示文摘Use of a non-zero hydrologic response unit(HRU) threshold is an effective way of reducing unmanageable HRU numbers and simplifying computational cost in the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT) hydrologic modelling. However, being less representative of watershed heterogeneity and increasing the level of model output uncertainty are inevitable when minor HRU combinations are disproportionately eliminated. This study examined 20 scenarios by running the model with various HRU threshold settings to understand the mechanism of HRU threshold effects on watershed representation as well as streamflow predictions and identify the appropriate HRU thresholds. Findings show that HRU numbers decrease sharply with increasing HRU thresholds. Among different HRU threshold scenarios, the composition of land-use, soil, and slope all contribute to notable variations which are directly related to the model input parameters and consequently affect the streamflow predictions. Results indicate that saturated hydraulic conductivity, average slope of the HRU, and curve number are the three key factors affecting stream discharge when changing the HRU thresholds. It is also found that HRU thresholds have little effect on monthly model performance, while evaluation statistics for daily discharges are more sensitive than monthly results. For daily streamflow predictions, thresholds of 5%/5%/5%(land-use/soil/slope) are the optimum HRU threshold level for the watershed to allow full consideration of model accuracy and efficiency in the present work. 7Predictive Scheme for Mixed Transmission in Time-Sensitive Networking显示文摘Time-sensitive networking(TSN)is an important research area for updating the infrastructure of industrial Internet of Things.As a product of the integration of the operation technology(OT)and the information technology(IT),it meets the real-time and deterministic nature of industrial control and is compatible with Ethernet to support the mixed transmission of industrial control data and Ethernet data.This paper systematically summarizes and analyzes the shortcomings of the current mixed transmission technologies of the bursty flows and the periodic flows.To conquer these shortages,we propose a predictive mixed-transmission scheme of the bursty flows and the periodic flows.The core idea is to use the predictability of timetriggered transmission of TSN to further reduce bandwidth loss of the previous mixed-transmission methods.This paper formalizes the probabilistic model of the predictive mixed transmission mechanism and proves that the proposed mecha⁃nism can effectively reduce the loss of bandwidth.Finally,based on the formalized probabilistic model,we simulate the bandwidth loss of the proposed mechanism.The results demonstrate that compared with the previous mixed-transmission method,the bandwidth loss of the pro⁃posed mechanism achieves a 79.48%reduction on average.LI Zonghui YANG Siqi YU Jinghai HE Fei SHI Qingjiang 2022ZTE Communications2022,20,4:0

11Status and perspectives of the CRAFTS extra-galactic HI survey显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) is expected to complete its commissioning in 2019. FAST will soon begin the Commensal Radio Astronomy FasT Survey(CRAFTS), a novel and unprecedented commensal drift scan survey of the entire sky visible from FAST. The goal of CRAFTS is to cover more than 20000 deg2 and reach redshift up to about 0.35. We provide empirical measurements of the beam size and sensitivity of FAST across the 1.05 to 1.45 GHz frequency range of the FAST L-band array of 19-beams(FLAN). Using a simulated HI-galaxy catalogue based on the HI Mass Function(HIMF), we estimate the number of galaxies that CRAFTS may detect. At redshifts below 0.35, over 6 × 105 HI galaxies may be detected. Below the redshift of 0.07, the CRAFTS HIMF will be complete above a mass threshold of 109.5 M⊙.
