| 1 | Low phosphorus promotes NSP1–NSP2 heterodimerization to enhance strigolactone biosynthesis and regulate shoot and root architecture in rice显示文摘Phosphorus is an essential macronutrient for plant development and metabolism,and plants have evolved ingenious mechanisms to overcome phosphate(Pi)starvation.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of shoot and root architecture by low phosphorus conditions and the coordinated utilization of Pi and nitrogen remain largely unclear.Here,we show that Nodulation Signaling Pathway 1(NSP1)and NSP2 regulate rice tiller number by promoting the biosynthesis of strigolactones(SLs),a class of phytohormones with fundamental effects on plant architecture and environmental responses.We found that NSP1 and NSP2 are induced by Oryza sativa PHOSPHATE STARVATION RESPONSE2(OsPHR2)in response to low-Pi stress and form a complex to directly bind the promoters of SL biosynthesis genes,thus markedly increasing SL biosynthesis in rice.Interestingly,the NSP1/2–SL signaling module represses the expression of CROWN ROOTLESS 1(CRL1),a newly identified early SL-responsive gene in roots,to restrain lateral root density under Pi deficiency.We also demonstrated that GR24^(4DO) treatment under normal conditions inhibits the expression of OsNRTs and OsAMTs to suppress nitrogen absorption but enhances the expression of OsPTs to promote Pi absorption,thus facilitating the balance between nitrogen and phosphorus uptake in rice.Importantly,we found that NSP1p:NSP1 and NSP2p:NSP2 transgenic plants show improved agronomic traits and grain yield under low-and medium-phosphorus conditions.Taken together,these results revealed a novel regulatory mechanism of SL biosynthesis and signaling in response to Pi starvation,providing genetic resources for improving plant architecture and nutrient-use efficiency in low-Pi environments. | Kun Yuan Hao Zhang Chaoji Yu Nan Luo Jijun Yan Shuang Zheng Qingliang Hu Dahan Zhang Liquan Kou Xiangbing Meng Yanhui Jing Mingjiang Chen Xinwei Ban Zongyun Yan Zefu Lu Jian Wu Yu Zhao Yan Liang Yonghong Wang Guosheng Xiong Jinfang Chu Ertao Wang Jiayang Li Bing Wang | 2023 | Molecular Plant2023,16,11: | 2 |
| 2 | Theoretical Study on the Structures,Spectral Properties,and Drugability of Xenicane-type Diterpenoids from Dictyota dichotoma显示文摘There are few reports on the relationship between the biological activity and structure of secondary metabolites from Dictyota dichotoma. In this work, the geometric and electronic structures, infrared spectra, ultraviolet spectra, 13C and 1H NMR spectra of 16 xenicane-type diterpenoids extracted from Dictyota dichotoma were studied by the density functional theory ωB97XD/6-311+G(2d,p) method. The analysis of the reactivity indices was carried out via the conceptual density functional theory. Furthermore, a pharmacodynamic evaluation was performed using ADME/Tox. The geometric structure analysis found that all 16 diterpenoids had the same unsaturated, branched chains and could be divided into two categories according to the ring size, including nine-membered and eight-membered rings. A hydroxyl group on the lactone ring reduced the stability of the compound. In contrast, a hydroxyl group on the parent ring had little effect on the compound's stability. The electrostatic potential results preliminarily predicted active sites for nucleophilic/electrophilic reactions. The fitting results of infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) data showed that the theoretical values obtained by this method were consistent with the experimental values. The UV-visible absorption spectra showed that the solvent effects caused different redshifts of the absorption peaks. The absorption strength was enhanced. The sixteen diterpenoids displayed a strong absorption peak in the range of 180―200 nm, but the compound containing a carbonyl group presents a weaker absorption peak in the field of 200―240 nm. Compounds 9―11, 14, and 15 have better stability and reactivity with lower chemical potentials and higher electronegativity, electrophilic index, and hardness values. The local reactivity descriptors further identified nucleophilic/electrophilic reaction sites for the sixteen compounds. Finally, the pharmacodynamic evaluation results predicted that compounds 2, 4, 8, 11, and 14―16 have optimal drugability. | 9 | Similarity comprehensive evaluation of humanoid robot arm motion显示文摘A suitable comprehensive evaluation method for similarity comprehensive evaluation of humanoid motion(mainly to robotic arm) is proposed.For different robotic arms, a static comprehensive evaluation model is established by projection pursuit evaluation based on indexes of humanoid robot arm motion in robotics and ergonomics field. Based on projection pursuit evaluation with timing information entropy and time degrees, a dynamic comprehensive evaluation method is proposed by linear weighting to each time's static model's indexes weight according to timing weighted vectors. Through comparing similarity comprehensive evaluation result based on static and dynamic comprehensive evaluation model, the results show that similarity based on dynamic comprehensive evaluation model is high. By comparing reliability, similarity and dispersion of static and dynamic comprehensive evaluation models, the results show that dynamic comprehensive evaluation result has better accuracy, stability and lower dispersion, and the result is more reasonable and real.
