1Separation of ionic liquids from dilute aqueous solutions using the method based on CO_2 hydrates显示文摘Ionic liquids (ILs) have been regarded as the potential novel solvents for improved analytical-and process-scale separation methods. The development of methods for the recovery of ILs from aqueous solutions to escape contamination and recycle samples will ultimately govern the viability of ILs in the future industrial applications. Therefore, in this paper a new method for separation of ILs from their dilute aqueous solutions and simultaneously purification of water was proposed on the basis of the CO2 hydrate formation. For illustration, the dilute aqueous solutions with concentrations of ILs ranging from 2×10-3 mol% to 2×10-1mol% were concentrated.The results show that the separation efficiency is very impressive and that the new method is applicable to aqueous solutions of both hydrophobic and hydrophilic ILs.Compared to the literature separation method based on the supercritical CO2,the new method is applicable to lower concentrations,and more importantly, its operation condition is mild.Xiaoming Peng Yufeng Hu Yansheng Liu Chuanwei Jin Huaijing Lin 2010Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2010,19,1:9
2Hierarchical representation of on-chip context to reduce reconfiguration time and implementation area for coarse-grained reconfigurable architecture显示文摘In reconfigurable system,fast reconfiguration and small size of configuration contexts are strongly required to enhance the processing performance and reduce the implementation overhead.In this paper,a hierarchical representation of contexts for CGRA called HCC is proposed to satisfy the above requirements.In HCC,the contexts are constructed in a hierarchical fashion to thoroughly eliminate the repetitive portions of the contexts,not only reducing the overall contexts storage size,but also alleviating the contexts transportation overhead.The fast context-indexing mechanism is proposed in HCC to achieve high configuration speed,since the hierarchically organized contexts can be located and accessed conveniently.HCC has been verified in a reconfigurable processor called REMUS HP.Owing to HCC,when implementing H.264 decoding on REMUS HP,76.67%of the overall contexts are reduced compared with the traditional non-hierarchical one;and the configuration speed is averagely 23×increased compared with the latest reported optimized configuration mechanism on Virtex-4 FX60.REMUS HP is implemented on a 48.9 mm2silicon with TSMC 65 nm technology.Simulation shows that 1920×1088@30 fps could be achieved for H.264 high-profile decoding when exploiting a 200 MHz working frequency.Compared with the high performance version of XPP,the performance is 181%boosted.WANG YanSheng LIU LeiBo YIN ShouYi ZHU Min CAO Peng YANG Jun WEI ShaoJun 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,11:7
3Electrochemical behavior of microbiologically influenced corrosion on Fe_3Al in marine environment显示文摘In this article,microbiologically influenced corrosion behavior of Fe3Al intermetal-lic compound in microorganism culture medium has been investigated by using weight loss methods,electrochemical techniques,and electron microscopy.Polar-ization curves showed that a sharp electrical current peak caused by surface pitting could be observed after Fe3Al electrodes were immersed in culture medium for 15 days when the polarization potential was about-790 mV vs SCE.Based on the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and the equivalent circuit parameters of the associated system,the corrosion products were found to exhibit a two-layer structured feature and the microorganisms could induce pitting and erosion corrosion of the inner layer.In addition,the passivating film of the inner layer was absolutely destroyed by microbial metabolic products.Xueting CHANG Shougang CHEN Guanhui GAO Yansheng YIN Sha CHENG Tao LIU 2009Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2009,22,4:5
4Effect of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate on the formation rate of CO_2 hydrate显示文摘The effect of the addition of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C4mim][BF4]) on the formation rates of CO2 hydrates was investigate. The isothermal and isobaric methods were used to measure the formation rates of CO2 hydrates. As compared to those of pure water, the data of phase equilibrium changed greatly. The effects of pressure, temperature, and the concentration of [C4mim][BF4] aqueous solution on the formation rates of CO2 hydrates were investigated. With a constant concentration of [C4mim][BF4], the rate of gas consumption was enhanced with the lowering of experimental temperature. However, a decrease in pressure exerted an opposite effect on the rate of gas consumption. 7Row-based configuration mechanism for a 2-D processing element array in coarse-grained reconfigurable architecture显示文摘Using the coarser operand grain and simplified interconnection patterns, CGRA(coarse grained reconfigurable architectures) has been proven to be energy efficient in several specific domains. As we know, the speed at which the contexts are applied to a PEA(processing element array) directly determines the performance of CGRA. In this paper, the design space in CGRA is further developed from the configuration granularity perspective by one middle-grained configuration granularity—the row-based configuration mechanism(RCM).The most prominent feature of the RCM is that a large DFG(data flow graph) can be mapped onto a small array in once reconfiguration, which is carried out on a row-by-row basis. Compared with an ordinary DFGpartitioning solution, the reconfiguration time and the data transfer time are well reduced. Furthermore, the proposed RCM offers much more efficient storage for the contexts. Compared with the DFG partitioning solution,the performance is boosted from 2.6% to 57.8%, while the area penalty is only 4.79% and the power penalty is only 7.22%. The RCM has been used in one reconfigurable processor called REMUS HPA(reconfigurable multi-media system, high performance version advanced). REMUS HPA has been implemented on a 50.5 mm2 silicon with TSMC 65 nm technology. Simulation shows that 1920×1088@37 fps can be achieved for H.264high-profile decoding when exploiting a 200 MHz working frequency. 8Efficacy and safety of rasagiline in Chinese patients with early Parkinson’s disease:a randomized, double-blind,parallel,placebo-controlled,fixed-dose study显示文摘Background:Rasagiline is a monoamine oxidase-B inhibitor used for Parkinson’s disease(PD)treatment,but its effectiveness on Chinese patients is unclear.This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rasagiline monotherapy in Chinese patients with early PD.Methods:A 26-weeks,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled study has been performed at 15 sites in China and enrolled outpatients(≥35 years old)with idiopathic PD without a history of using any dopaminergic drugs.Participants were randomized 1:1 to receive rasagiline 1 mg once daily or placebo.The primary endpoint was the change of the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)total score from baseline to 26 weeks treatment.Secondary endpoints included changes in UPDRS subscale scores from part Ⅰ to Ⅲ.Health status was assessed with the PD Questionnaire(PDQ)-39 and EuroQol-Five-Dimension(EQ-5D)questionnaire.Safety profile was collected until 30 weeks after randomization.Results:A total of 130 patients(n=65/group)were recruited,and 127(rasagiline,n=64;placebo,n=63)were included in the full analysis set.Baseline characteristics were comparable between the two groups.The decrease in the mean UPDRS total score was greater in the rasagiline group than in the placebo group(−3.18±0.95 vs.−0.18±0.98,P=0.025),and the mean UPDRS part I non-motor symptoms score(−0.54±0.15 vs.-0.08±0.15,P=0.003)were significantly decreased in the rasagiline group compared with placebo treated patients.An improvement trend was observed in the active treatment group for the subscales evaluation with parts Ⅱ and Ⅲ,while the difference to placebo was not statistically significant.Life quality assessed by the EQ-5D visual analog scale improved in the rasagiline group but worsened in placebo treated patients.The overall incidence of treatment-emergent adverse events(AEs)was slightly lower in the rasagiline group(41.5%)than in the placebo group(46.2%).Conclusions:Rasagiline is effective,safe,and well tolerated as monotherapy for the treatment of Chinese PD patients.Zhenxin Zhang Jian Wang Shengdi Chen Chunfeng Liu Baorong Zhang Rong Peng Shenggang Sun Xiangru Sun Gang Zhao Qiumin Qu Yansheng Li Suiqiang Zhu Xiaoping Pan Ming Shao Yanping Wang 2018Translational Neurodegeneration2018,7,1:3
9Amplification of terahertz/infrared field at the nodes of Ranvier for myelinated nerve显示文摘The myelination of axons was the last major evolution in the vertebrate nervous system.Myelin promotes the speed of action potential by two orders,and modulates the conduction of neurons,important for learning new skills.However,the intrinsic mechanism for high-speed information propagation in myelin in the nervous systems is still unclear.We propose that myelinated nerve fibres serve as dielectric waveguides for the high-frequency electromagnetic information in a certain mid-infrared to terahertz spectral range.Based on the structure characteristics of myelinated nerve composed of periodic nodes of Ranvier and myelin sheath,the energy for the signal propagation is supplied and amplified when crossing the nodes of Ranvier via a periodic relay.In this work,we exploit the quasi-quantum model of amplification for neural terahertz/infrared information at the nodes of Ranvier,and prove the existence of biomolecular ensemble for three-energy-level amplification,revealing the essential mechanism of high-speed electromagnetic information transmitting in myelinated nerves.YanSheng Liu KaiJie Wu ChunLiang Liu GangQiang Cui Chao Chang GuoZhi Liu 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,7:3
10Surgical intervention combined with weight-bearing walking training improves neurological recoveries in 320 patients with clinically complete spinal cord injury:a prospective self-controlled study显示文摘Although a large number of trials in the SCI field have been conducted,few proven gains have been realized for patients.In the present study,we determined the efficacy of a novel combination treatment involving surgical intervention and long-term weight-bearing walking training in spinal cord injury(SCI)subjects clinically diagnosed as complete or American Spinal Injury Association Impairment Scale(AIS)Class A(AIS-A).A total of 320 clinically complete SCI subjects(271 male and 49 female),aged 16–60 years,received early(≤7 days,n=201)or delayed(8–30 days,n=119)surgical interventions to reduce intraspinal or intramedullary pressure.Fifteen days post-surgery,all subjects received a weight-bearing walking training with the“Kunming Locomotion Training Program(KLTP)”for a duration of 6 months.The neurological deficit and recovery were assessed using the AIS scale and a 10-point Kunming Locomotor Scale(KLS).We found that surgical intervention significantly improved AIS scores measured at 15 days post-surgery as compared to the pre-surgery baseline scores.Significant improvement of AIS scores was detected at 3 and 6 months and the KLS further showed significant improvements between all pair-wise comparisons of time points of 15 days,3 or 6 months indicating continued improvement in walking scores during the 6-month period.In conclusion,combining surgical intervention within 1 month post-injury and weight-bearing locomotor training promoted continued and statistically significant neurological recoveries in subjects with clinically complete SCI,which generally shows little clinical recovery within the first year after injury and most are permanently disabled.This study was approved by the Science and Research Committee of Kunming General Hospital of PLA and Kunming Tongren Hospital,China and registered at ClinicalTrials.gov(Identifier:NCT04034108)on July 26,2019.Yansheng Liu Jia-Xin Xie Fang Niu Zhexi Xu Pengju Tan Caihong Shen Hongkun Gao Song Liu Zhengwen Ma Kwok-Fai So Wutian Wu Chen Chen Sujuan Gao Xiao-Ming Xu Hui Zhu 2021Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,5:3
11Prediction of Density and Refractive Index of Lubricating Oils during Secondary Solvent Extraction Process by Furfural显示文摘To meet the requirements for high aromatic content and low polycyclic aromatic(PCA)concentration,eco-friendly aromatic-rich rubber extender oils are usually produced by two-stage solvent extraction processes with furfural.Among the different properties of rubber processing oils,density and refractive index are some of the most important properties related to their final quality.Two types of methods,including a pseudo-component approach by using mixing rules and several correlations,were used for calculation of density and refractive index at 20℃ of paraffinic furfural-extract oils and their secondary raffinates.Results indicated that similar accuracy was obtained for predicting the density and the refractive index of furfural+furfural-extract paraffinic oil systems.However,the quadratic correlation presents its advantage over the pseudo-component approach when the composition of oils is not available.Moreover,the quadratic correlation was also used for naphthenic lubricating oils during two-stage solvent extraction processes.The predictions showed much larger discrepancies with respect to experimental values than those of paraffinic lubricating oils,which indicated that the quadratic correlation was more suitable for paraffinic oils with a CN value of below 37%.Xu Xiaoling Liu Yansheng 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,3:3
12Photoluminescence Properties of Porous Silicon Based on FZ(H) Si Wafer显示文摘The photoluminescence (PL) properties of porous silicon (PS) have been studied based on n-type single- crystal (111) silicon wafers (80-90Ω .cm in the resistivity). The porous silicon layers (PSL) were created by anodizing the wafers with a denuded zone of 20-40 μm formed by neutron transmutation doping (NTD) and thermal treatment at 940℃ for 4 h and then 700℃ for 2 h, two-step heating of the floating-zone silicon (FZ Si) grown in a hydrogen (H2) ambience. By surface modification with stannic chloride or amine immersion and rapid thermal oxidation (RTO), the PL peak position from the PS can be qualitatively controlled factitiously. The as-prepared PS shows an orange-yellow luminescence, while the modified samples emit red, green and blue luminescence. Mechanisms for the different colors of the PL are discussed. 14Symptoms Burden and Health-related Quality of Life in Chinese Patients with Primary Biliary Cholangitis显示文摘Background and Aims:Primary biliary cholangitis(PBC)is a chronic liver disease that negatively affects the health-related quality of life(HRQoL)of patients.Furthermore,the HRQoL of Chinese patients has been neglected for a long time.The present study aimed to assess the HRQoL of Chinese patients with PBC and explore the clinical variables correlating to the improvement of itch and fatigue.Methods:This was an observational,cross-sectional study.The PBC-40 and itch numerical rating scales were used to evaluate the symptoms and HRQoL of patients.Results:A total of 383 patients were recruited,and 86.4%were female,with a median age of 55 years(range:49-63 years).We found that females had significantly higher scores than males in symptoms(p=0.033)and cognitive domains(p=0.021),and the fatigue domain was higher in elderly patients(p=0.007).Meanwhile,patients whose body mass index was<18.5 had the highest scores in the symptoms(p=0.009),fatigue(p=0.010),and cognitive(p=0.019)domains.Age at participation(odds ratio[OR]=1.068,p=0.015)and albumin level at 12 months after ursodeoxycholic acid treatment(OR=208.807,p=0.025)were independent factors that affected the improvement of the itch and fatigue domains,respectively.Conclusions:The HRQoL of Chinese patients with PBC was significantly impaired depending on sex,age,and body mass index.Age and albumin level were significantly associated with the improvement of itch and fatigue,respectively.Therefore,treatment and support aimed at these two factors can be provided to improve the HRQoL of patients.Yansheng Liu Siyuan Tian Gui Jia Zheyi Han Changcun Guo Yulong Shang Ying Han 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,6:2
15Effect of the Structure of Cations and Anions of Ionic Liquids on Separation of Aromatics from Hydrocarbon Mixtures显示文摘The effects of the structure of typical cations and anions of ionic liquids on the separation of benzene and toluene from aromatic/paraffin mixtures were studied. The results showed that the corresponding separation factors were considerably larger than those of the traditional solvents (Benzene+Hexane+sulfolane), and that the ionic liquids could be used as novel solvents for the separation of aromatics from hydrocarbon mixtures. The key parameters governing the ability of ionic liquids for separating aromatics from hydrocarbon sources were investigated. It was found that the effectiveness of the ionic liquids, based on the same anion, changed in the cation order of [BIqu]+< [BPy]+< [BMIM]+. The selectivity of the ionic liquid toward aromatics decreased apparently with the increasing length of the substituted alkyl chain of its cationic head ring. The separation factors, based on the same cation, changed in the anion order of [Tf2N]-<[PF6]-<[BF4]-<[C2H5SO4]-. 16Corrosion Behavior of Anodic Oxidized TiO_2 Film in Seawater显示文摘TiO2 films were formed on metallic titanium substrates by the anodic oxidation method in H2SO4 solution under the 80V D.C..Phase component and microstructure were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).Water contact angles on titanium oxide film surface were measured under both dark and sunlight illumination conditions.Corrosion tests were carried out in seawater under different illumination conditions by electrochemistry impedance spectrum (EIS) and polarization curves.The result showed that the TiO2 film prepared by the anodic oxidation method was anatase with a uniform structure and without obvious pores or cracks on its surface.The average water contact angle of the film was 116.4? in dark, in contrast to an angle of 42.7? under the UV illumination for 2 hours, which demonstrates good hydrophobic property.The anti-corrosion behavior of the TiO2 film was declining with the extended immersion time.Under dark conditions, however, the hydrophobic TiO2 film retarded the water infiltrating into the substrate.The impedance changed slowly and the corrosion current density was 2 orders of magnitude lower than that with the film illuminated by sunlight.All of those mentioned above indicate that the TiO2 film possesses much better performance under dark condition, and it can be applied as an engineering material under dark seawater environment.WANG Min WANG Wei HE Benlin SUN Mingliang YIN Yansheng LIU Lan ZOU Wuyuan XU Xuefei 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,4:2
17Large-scale highly ordered periodic Au nano-discs/graphene and graphene/Au nanoholes plasmonic substrates for surface-enhanced Raman scattering显示文摘In this paper,the study of using masks to directly generate large area,highly ordered and periodical nanostructure has been exhibited.Periodic Au nano-discs(NDs)arrays have been fabricated on top of graphene by using holey SigN4 mask which is directly fixed on top of graphene and Au metal is deposited through the holes in mask by thermal evaporation method under vacuum condition.This fabrication method provides an easy,fast and cost efficiency way to generate periodical nanostructure.Also,Au nanoholes(NHs)structure has been studied by using holey SigN4 as a template.The surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)sensitvities of periodical Au NDs/graphene and graphene/Au NHs hybrid structures have been systematically studied.The internal mechanisms could be explained by chemical mechanism effect of graphene and electromagnetic mechanism effect of metallic nano-structures.The enhancement factors have been systematically investigated by varying the diameter and the thickness of Au discs and Au NHs.Raman mappings of Au NDs with 2.5 um diameter ilustrate that the larger SERS enhancements exist in the rim of NDs which has good agreement with the electric field simulation result.The SERE enhancement factors of fluorescein obtained from Au NDs/graphene substrates shows an improvement factor of 500%in comparison of graphene substrate.The calculated SERS enhancement factors of graphene/Au NHs achieve 1,200%in comparison of graphene/planar Au film substrate.Yansheng Liu Feng Luo 2019Nano Research2019,12,11:2
18Experiments and simulations of gas-solid flow in an airlift loop reactor显示文摘The hydrodynamics in a gas-solid airlift loop reactor was investigated systematically using experimental measurements and CFD simulation.In the experiments,the time averaged parameters,such as solid fraction and particle velocity,were measured by optical fiber probe.In the simulation,the modified Gidaspow drag model accounting for the interparticles clustering was incorporated into the Eulerian-Eulerian CFD model with particulate-phase kinetic theory.Predicted values of solid fraction and particle velocity were compared with experimental results,validating the drag model and the simulation.The results show that the profiles of particle velocity and solid fraction are uniform in annulus.However,the core-annulus structure appears in other three regions (draft tube region,bottom region and particle diffluence region),which presents the similar heterogeneous feature of aggregative fluidization usually occurred in normal fluidized beds.Simulated profiles of particle residence time distribution indicate that the airlift loop reactor should be characterized by near perfect mixing.Chaoyu Yan Chunxi Lu Yiping Fan Rui Cao Yansheng Liu 2011Particuology2011,9,2:2
19Spatial Raman mapping investigation of SERS performance related to localized surface plasmons显示文摘In this research,it reported a novel three-dimensional(3D)metallic hybrid system by introducing single-layer graphene(SLG)between silver nanoparticles(NPs)and silver nano-discs(NDs)arrays(Ag NPs/SLG/Ag NDs).By combining the plasmonic metallic nanostructures and the unique physical/chemical properties of graphene,Ag NPs/SLG/Ag NDs hybrid substrate was fabricated,and it exhibited extremely high surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)performance.By tuning the diameter of Ag NDs,the SERS performance of Ag NPs/SLG/Ag NDs hybrid substrate has been systematically studied.The detection limit for rhodamine 6g(R6G)could reach the concentrations as low as 1×10^−12 mol/L,and the average enhancement factor(EF)of the Ag NPs/SLG/Ag NDs substrate could reach 5.65×10^8.These advantages indicated that the Ag NPs/SLG/Ag NDs hybrid substrate could be regarded as a candidate for organic molecules detection under extremely low concentration.Besides,spatial Raman mapping of Ag NPs/SLG/Ag NDs with 2.5μm diameter NDs showed the larger SERE signal existed around the rim of Ag NDs which was related to the localized surface plasmons.This phenomenon was contributed by a larger electromagnetic field which was tuned by Ag NPs and the edge of Ag NDs.This mechanism also has been confirmed by the electromagnetic simulation result.Yansheng Liu Feng Luo 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:2
20Comprehensive profiling of Lingzhihuang capsule by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry-based molecular networking and target prediction显示文摘Objective:Lingzhihuang capsule(LZHC)is a natural product that consists of 10 commonly used medicinal plants,and it is used in traditional Chinese medicine to promote people’s overall health.Previously,LZHC was successfully used as adjuvant therapy for treating patients with cancer.However,the chemical constituents of LZHC and their potential biological functions remain unclear.The aim of this study is to investigate the major bioactive compounds in LZHC and predict their pharmacological targets.Methods:The LZHC constituents were putatively identified by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with timeof-flight mass spectrometry combined with mass spectrometry-based molecular networking.The targets were predicted using SwissTargetPrediction software,and the associated gene ontology and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes pathways were analyzed using the Database for Annotation,Visualization,and Integrated Discovery.The mass spectrometry-based molecular network and compound-target-pathway network were constructed using Cytoscape 3.8.0 software.Results:We putatively identified 94 compounds of LZHC by mass spectrometry-based molecular networking,including triterpene(the main structural type)and other clusters(ie,flavonoids and organic acids).Our results suggested that multiple pivotal targets were regulated by LZHC,including tumor necrosis factor,nitric oxide synthase 2,glucocorticoid receptor,estrogen receptor,3-oxo-5-alpha-steroid 4-dehydrogenase 2,prostaglandin e2 receptor ep4 subtype,estrogen receptor beta,phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha isoform,mitogen-activated protein kinase 3,and racalpha serine,which are related to signal transduction,positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoters,oxidation-reduction processes,inflammatory responses,and other biological processes.Functional annotation of those targets suggested that several signaling pathways may be regulated by LZHC,such as cancer-related proteoglycans,the PI3K-Aktsignaling pathway,and the cAMP-signaling pathway.Conclusions:Our findings reveal the chemical constituents of LZHC and provided scientific support for the efficacy of LZHC in terms of immune regulation,anti-aging,and tumor suppression.Mengliang Huang Sijia Yu Qing Shao Hao Liu Yingchao Wang Hongzhang Chen Yansheng Huang Yi Wang 2022Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2022,2,1:2
