1Boron neutron capture therapy for malignant melanoma: first clinical case report in China显示文摘A phase Ⅰ/Ⅱ clinical trial for treating malignant melanoma by boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT) was designed to evaluate whether the world's first in-hospital neutron irradiator(IHNI) was qualified for BNCT. In this clinical trial planning to enroll 30 patients, the first case was treated on August 19, 2014. We present the protocol of this clinical trial, the treating procedure, and the clinical outcome of this first case. Only grade 2 acute radiation injury was observed during the first four weeks after BNCT and the injury healed after treatment. No late radiation injury was found during the 24-month follow-up. 2Densification and anticorrosion performances of vacuum evaporated aluminium coatings on NdFeB magnets显示文摘Al coated NdFeB magnets obtained by vacuum evaporation technique were densified by high energy ball milling method.The surface morphology,metal composition and micro structure of the coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,respectively.The anticorrosive properties were investigated by potentiodynamic polarization curves and neutral salt spray test.The pores in the Al coatings of columnar crystals(Al) induced by the evaporation technique,were apparently filled in the following ball milling process,leading to the densification of Al coatings and the evident improvement of the anticorrosive performances.When treated with ball milling for 30 min,the sample achieves the best anticorrosive performances with the self-corrosion potential of-0.87 V,self-corrosion current density of 1.65 μA/cm^(2) and the neutral salt spray(NSS) time of 144 h(red rust).The improvement of the anticorro sive performances of vacuum evaporated Al coating mainly lies in the densification effect of the coating,which depends on different loading conditions of ball milling process.Jun Huang Qing Liu Zhenyu Yang Guangqing Xu Pengjie Zhang Jun Lv Wei Sun Bingshan Li Dongmei Wang Yucheng Wu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,10:3
3A finite-time 3D guidance law based on fixed-time convergence disturbance observer显示文摘In order to achieve accurate interception of high-speed maneuvering targets,this paper presents a relative Line-of-Sight(LOS)velocity based finite-time three-dimensional guidance law design framework,and discusses the application of fixed-time convergence disturbance observer in this framework.Firstly,a simple Lyapunov function is provided to show that the coupled terms in the relative kinematics can be ignored in the proposed guidance law design framework.Secondly,the realizations of several classical guidance laws are analyzed with the proposed framework,including TPN guidance law,finite-time Input-to-State Stability(ISS)guidance law,and sliding mode guidance law.Thirdly,fixed-time convergence disturbance observers are introduced to design the composite finite-time 3D guidance law,and Lyapunov method is employed to show the stability of the guidance system.Numerical simulations with different scenarios show that the proposed generalized guidance law performs high interception accuracy.Feng YANG Guangqing XIA 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,4:2

8Deformation Mechanisms and Safe Drilling Fluids Density in Extremely Thick Salt Formations显示文摘Hydrocarbons are very often associated with salt structures. The oil and gas industry is often required to drill along and through long salt sections to reach and recover hydrocarbons. The unique physical properties of salt require special techniques to ensure borehole stability and adequate casing design. This paper assumed that the mechanical behavior of salt is regulated by the magnitude of mean stress and octahedral shear stress and under the influence of different stress conditions,the deformation of rock salt can be represented by three domains,i.e. compression domain,volume unchanged domain,and dilatancy domain,which are separated by a stress dependent boundary. In the compression domain,the volume of salt decreases until all microcracks are closed,with only elastic deformation and pure creep; in the volume unchanged domain the deformation is considered steady incompressible flow controlled by pure creep; and in the dilatancy domain the volume of salt increases during deformation due to micro-cracking,causing damage and accelerating 'creep' until failure. This paper presents a hypothesis that the borehole is stable only when the magnitude of octahedral shear stress is below the dilatancy boundary. It gives the design method for determining drilling fluids density,and calculates the closure rate of borehole with the recommended drilling fluids density. 16Pijx confers broad-spectrum seedling and panicle blast resistance by promoting the degradation of ATP β subunit and OsRbohC-mediated ROS burst in rice显示文摘Rice blast,caused by the fungal pathogen Magnaporthe oryzae,is one of the most important diseases of rice.Utilization of blast-resistance genes is the most economical,effective,and environmentally friendly way to control the disease.However,genetic resources with broad-spectrum resistance(BSR)that is effective throughout the rice growth period are rare.In this work,using a genome-wide association study,we identify a new blast-resistance gene,Pijx,which encodes a typical CC-NBS-LRR protein.Pijx is derived from a wild rice species and confers BSR to M.oryzae at both the seedling and panicle stages.The functions of the resistant haplotypes of Pijx are confirmed by gene knockout and overexpression experiments.Mechanistically,the LRR domain in Pijx interacts with and promotes the degradation of the ATP synthase β subunit(ATPb)via the 26S proteasome pathway.ATPb acts as a negative regulator of Pijx-mediated panicle blast resistance,and interacts with OsRbohC to promote its degradation.Consistently,loss of ATPb function causes an increase in NAPDH content and ROS burst.Remarkably,when Pijx is introgressed into two japonica rice varieties,the introgression lines show BSR and increased yields that are approximately 51.59%and 79.31%higher compared with those of their parents in a natural blast disease nursery.In addition,we generate PPL^(Pijx Pigm) and PPL^(Pijx Piz-t) pyramided lines and these lines also have higher BSR to panicle blast compared with Pigm-or Piz-t-containing rice plants.Collectively,this study demonstrates that Pijx not only confers BSR to M.oryzae but also maintains high and stable rice yield,providing new genetic resources and molecular targets for breeding rice varieties with broad-spectrum blast resistance.Ning Xiao Yunyu Wu Xiaoxiang Zhang Zeyun Hao Zichun Chen Zefeng Yang Yue Cai Ruyi Wang Ling Yu Zhiping Wang Yue Lu Wei Shi Cunhong Pan Yuhong Li Changhai Zhou Jianju Liu Niansheng Huang Guangqing Liu Hongjuan Ji Shuhao Zhu Shuai Fang Yuese Ning Aihong Li 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,11:0
