| 1 | Correlation of burial organic carbon and paleoproductivity in the Mesoproterozoic Hongshuizhuang Formation, northern North China显示文摘In general, total organic carbon (TOC) is directly used as a proxy for paleoproductivity, however, it is not only affected by paleoproductivity, but also controlled by redox conditions and terrigenous detrital matter influx. Major and trace elements were analysed with the purpose of investigating the redox potential and paleoproductivity during deposition of the Hongshuizhuang Formation. In the present study, C-S relationship, V/Cr ratio and Mo concentration indicate that the dolomites were deposited in oxic environments, however, most of the black shales were accumulated in euxinic environments. P/Ti values in the Hongshuizhuang samples can be compared with those in the Japanese Ubara Permian-Triassic section which were regarded to be deposited under a moderate to high paleoproductivity. Ba/Al values are slightly lower than that of the laminated sediments from the continental margins of Central California (CCAL) which were thought to be accumulated under a high paleoproductivity. These results indicate that the paleoproductivity was moderate to high during deposition of the Hongshuizhuang Formation. | 2 | Immunocytochemical Study of Cells in the Vitreous of Proliferative Vitreoretretinopathy显示文摘Purpose: To identify the cellular components of vitreous samples obtained during vit-rectomy for proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR).Methods: With the use of three intermediate filament (IF) proteins, vimentin, glialfibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), and cytokeratin (CK), cytocentrifuge slides of 14fresh vitreous aspirates were detected with immunohistochemical technique.Results: All the specimens contained epithelial-like proliferative cells with or withoutpigment and some membrane-like pieces. Immunocytochemical staining showed that76.0-90.0% cells stained for CK, 17.4-29.6% cells expressed GFAP, and 80.1-91.0% cells were positive for vimentin.Conclusions : Majority of cells in the vitreous samples originated from retinal pigmentepithelial cells (RPE) and glial cells in PVR. | 4 | Thermodynamic Behavior Research Analysis of Twin-roll Casting Lead Alloy Strip Process显示文摘The thermodynamic behavior of twin-roll casting(TRC) lead alloy strip process directly affects the forming of the lead strip, the quality of the lead strip and the production efficiency. However, there is little research on the thermodynamics of lead alloy strip at home and abroad. The TRC lead process is studied in four parameters: the pouring temperature of molten lead,the depth of molten pool, the roll casting speed, and the rolling thickness of continuous casting. Firstly, the thermodynamic model for TRC lead process is built.Secondly, the thermodynamic behavior of the TRC process is simulated with the use of Fluent. Through the thermodynamics research and analysis, the process parameters of cast rolling lead strip can be obtained: the pouring temperature of molten lead: 360–400 °C, the depth of molten pool: 250–300 mm, the roll casting speed: 2.5–3 m/min, the rolling thickness: 8–9 mm.Based on the above process parameters, the optimal parameters(the pouring temperature of molten lead:375–390 °C, the depth of molten pool: 285–300 mm, the roll casting speed: 2.75–3 m/min, the rolling thickness:8.5–9 mm) can be gained with the use of the orthogonal experiment. Finally, the engineering test of TRC lead alloy strip is carried out and the test proves the thermodynamic model is scientific, necessary and correct. | 5 | Method of adaptive PLL bandwidth adjustment without phase slipping显示文摘In a system based on the phase lock loop(PLL), a trade-off must be made between the tracking precision and the dynamic performance if constant parameters are adopted. To overcome this drawback, a new method called no phase slipping adaptive bandwidth(NPS-AB) is proposed, which can adjust the loop bandwidth adaptively for different working conditions. As a result, both the tracking precision and the dynamic performance can be achieved concurrently. NPS-AB has two features to keep the loop stable: one is the capability of quick response to dynamics; the other is a series of additional constraints when the bandwidth is switched. Compared with other methods, there is no phase slipping during the adjustment process for NPS-AB. The phase integer ambiguity can be avoided and the phase value is kept valid. It is meaningful for carrier ranging systems. | 8 | Microphysical Properties of Convective Clouds in Summer over the Tibetan Plateau from SNPP/VIIRS Satellite Data显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau (TP) plays an important role in formation and development of the East Asian atmospheric circulation, climate variability, and disastrous weathers in China. Among the many topics on TP meteorology, it is critical to understand the microphysical characteristics of clouds over the TP;however, observations of the cloud microphysics in this area are insufficient mainly due to sparse stations and limited cloud physical data. The Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VⅡRS), onboard the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (SNPP) satellite, has an improved imaging spectroradiometer with 17 channels of 750-m moderate resolution and 5 channels of 375-m image resolution. The high-resolution instrument has an advantage for observing the small or initial convective clouds. Based on the methodologies that we proposed before for retrieving cloud microphysical properties from SNPP, an automated mapping software package named Automatic Mapping of Convective Clouds (AMCC) has been developed at the scale of satellite swath. The properties of convective clouds are retrieved by AMCC and their values are averaged over 0.33°×0.33° grids based on the SNPP/VⅡRS satellite data over the TP during the summers of 2013-17. The results show that:(1) the temperature of lifting condensation level (TLCL) at Naqu meteorological station and the cloud base temperature (Tb) retrieved from VⅡRS are linearly correlated, with a correlation coefficient of 0.87 and standard deviation (STD) of 3.0℃;(2) convective clouds over the TP have the following macro-and microphysical properties. First, the cloud base temperature (Tb) is about -5℃, the cloud base height above the ground (Hb) ranges between 1800 and 2200 m, and the cloud water content is low. Second, the cloud condensation nuclei concentration (NCCN) is between 200 and 400 mg-1 with 0.7% in maximum supersaturation (Smax);consequently, the condensation growth of water cloud droplet with less NCCN and higher Smax is fast. Third, because the precipitation initiation depth (D14) varies within 1500-2000 m and 500-1000 m at the Yarlung Zangbo River basin and southern Tibet, respectively, the clouds over these areas are more prone to precipitation. Fourth, mean height of the cloud top above sea level (Htop) is between 10 and 13 km, but the cloud depth (Dcld) is rather small, which is about 5000 m in southern TP and gradually reduces to 2500 m in northern TP. | 12 | The Microphysical Characteristics of Wintertime Cold Clouds in North China显示文摘The microphysical characteristics of wintertime cold clouds in North China were investigated from 22 aircraft observation flights from 2014 to 2017,2020,and 2021.The clouds were generated by mesoscale weather systems with little orographic component.Over the mixed-phase temperature range(–40℃to 0℃),the average fraction of liquid,mixedphase,and ice cloud was 4.9%,23.3%,and 71.8%,respectively,and the probability distribution of ice mass fraction was a half-U-shape,suggesting that ice cloud was the primary cloud type.The wintertime mixed-phase clouds in North China were characterized by large cloud droplet number concentration,small liquid water content(LWC),and small effective diameter of cloud droplets.The main reason for larger cloud droplet number concentration and smaller effective diameter of cloud droplets was the heavy pollution in winter in North China,while for smaller LWC was the lower temperature during flights and the difference in air mass type.With the temperature increasing,cloud droplet number concentration,LWC,and the size of ice particles increased,but ice number concentration and effective diameter of cloud droplets decreased,similar to other mid-latitude regions,indicating the similarity in the temperature dependence of cloud properties of mixed-phase clouds.The variation of the cloud properties and ice habit at different temperatures indicated the operation of the aggregation and riming processes,which were commonly present in the wintertime mixed-phase clouds.This study fills a gap in the aircraft observation of wintertime cold clouds in North China. | Xuexu WU Minghuai WANG Delong ZHAO Daniel ROSENFELD Yannian ZHU Yuanmou DU Wei ZHOU Ping TIAN Jiujiang SHENG Fei WANG Deping DING | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,12: | 1 |

In this paper, the e ect of spine motion on contact time is studied deeply from dynamic view.Firstly, a simplified model of the quadruped robot with spine joint is set up, its dynamic equations are derivated, and a method that can generate passive periodic locomotion is proposed. Secondly, according to the vertical spring oscillator model, the two-dimension planar locomotion of the simplified model is regarded as a special vibration in the vertical direction, and the approximate formula of calculating contact time is obtained. Finally, the approximate formula of calculating contact time is verified by the simulation results of passive periodic locomotion, and the e ect of spine motion on contact time is deeply discussed based on the approximate formula of calculating contact time. The discussion proves that spine motion indeed has little e ect on contact time, but spine motion can slightly reduce body pith movement and regulate the leg sti ness in leg contact phase.
