1Plant-derived phosphocholine facilitates cellular uptake of anti-pulmonary fibrotic HJT-sRNA-m7显示文摘Pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive chronic disease with a high mortality rate, has limited treatment options. Currently, lung transplantation remains the only effective treatment. Here we report that a small RNA, HJT-sRNA-m7, from a Chinese herbal medicine Hong Jing Tian(HJT, RHODIOHAE CRENULATAE RADIX ET RHIZOMA, Rhodiola crenulata) can effectively reduce the expressions of fibrotic hallmark genes and proteins both in alveolar in vitro and in mouse lung tissues in vivo. We also discovered over one hundred oil-soluble chemicals from HJT decoctions, most of which are found in lipid extracts from other Chinese herbals decoctions, including Pu Gong Ying(PGY, TARAXACI HERBA, Taraxacum mongolicum), Chuan Xin Lian(CXL, changed to 'ANDROGRAPHIS HERBA, Andrographis paniculata'), and Jin Yin Hua(JYH, lonicera japonica or Honeysuckle). We identified the active component in these decoctions as two forms of phosphocholines, PC(18:0/18:2) and PC(16:0/18:2). These PCs potentially could form liposomes with small RNAs to enter human alveolar and gastric cells. 2Large-scale analysis of small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese herbs in human tissues显示文摘Plant-derived microRNAs have recently been reported to function in human blood and tissues. Controversy was immediately raised due to possible contamination and the lack of large sample sizes. Here, we report thousands of unique small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) herbs found in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues using a large-scale analysis.We extracted small RNAs from decoctions of 10 TCM plants(Ban Zhi Lian, Chai Hu, Chuan Xin Lian, Di Ding Zi Jin, Huang Qin, Jin Yin Hua, Lian Qiao, Pu Gong Ying, Xia Ku Cao, and Yu Xing Cao) and obtained millions of RNA sequences from each herb. We also obtained RNA-Seq data from the blood cells of humans who consumed herbal decoctions and from the lung tissues of mice administered RNAs from herbal decoctions via oral gavage. We identified thousands of unique small RNA sequences in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues. Some of these identified small RNAs from Chuan Xin Lian and Hong Jing Tian could be mapped to the genomes of the herbs, confirming their TCM plant origin. 3Effect and Prospect of Basic Geological Survey Based on Airborne Gravimetry in China显示文摘The airborne gravimetry was an important leap and innovation in the world's history of geophysical exploration.China's first test of the airborne gravity geological survey in the onshore-offshore transitional area of the western and southern part of the Bohai Sea was successful and effective in geology.Based on the airborne gravity data,and combining previous ground gravity,seismic and drilling data etc.,we carried out the geological interpretation by forward and inverse methods.The result shows that the airborne Bouguer gravity anomaly was clear,the fracture interpretation was reliable,and the inversion depth of the main geological interfaces was relatively accurate.This airborne gravity geological survey not only filled the exploring gaps in the onshore-offshore transitional area,and realized the geological and tectonic junction between the sea and the land,but also discovered four local gravity anomalies,11 fractures and three sags or subsags,and so on.The good geological effect of airborne gravimetry not restricted by terrain condition shows that it can be served as a new geophysical method in the exploration of complex terrain physiognomy area such as mountain,jungle,desert,marsh,onshore-offshore transitional area and so on,and has an extensive application prospect in China in the future.LI Wenyong ZHOU Jianxin XIONG Shengqing GUO Zhihong LU Wenfen XU Jianchun LIU Yanxu 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1:11
4Study of Residual Basin and Tectonolayering Based on Airborne Gravity and Magnetic Data显示文摘This paper takes the South Yellow Sea as an example to show a new method for comprehensive geological-geophysical research such as residual basin and tectonolayering using airborne gravity and magnetic data in China. Based on airborne gravity and magnetic data, by measuring and analyzing stratigraphic density and susceptibility, the depths to the pre-Sinian magnetic basement top, the pre-Jurassic top and the Cenozoic bottom, are obtained by forward and inverse methods constrained by seismic and drilling data; and furthermore, the residual thicknesses of the Sinian-Triassic, the Jurassic-Cretaceous and the Cenozoic are calculated. Based on airborne gravity and magnetic anomalies, the faults in the pre-Sinian magnetic basement, the Jurassic-Cretaceous and the Cenozoic are respectively interpreted by the qualitative and quantitative methods. On the basis of the above study, and combining regional important tectonic events, four tectonolayers are divided in the vertical succession in South Yellow Sea, namely the pre-Sinian magnetic basement, the Sinian-Triassic, the Jurassic-Cretaceous and the Cenozoic. The result shows that there are thick Cenozoic and Jurassic-Cretaceous strata and thin residual Sinian-Triassic strata in the Suzhong-Huangnan depression area, but there are thin or only sporadic Mesozoic-Cenozoic terrestrial strata and thick Sinian-Triassic marine strata reserved in Subei-Huangzhong uplift area and Sunan-Wunansha uplift area. 5Tauroursodeoxycholic acid(TUDCA) inhibits influenza A viral infection by disrupting viral proton channel M2显示文摘Influenza is a persistent threat to human health and there is a continuing requirement for updating antiinfluenza strategies. Initiated by observations of different endoplasmic reticulum(ER) responses of host to seasonal H1N1 and highly pathogenic avian influenza(HPAI) A H5N1 infections, we identified an alternative antiviral role of tauroursodeoxycholic acid(TUDCA), a clinically available ER stress inhibitor, both in vitro and in vivo. Rather than modulating ER stress in host cells, TUDCA abolished the proton conductivity of viral M2 by disrupting its oligomeric states, which induces inefficient viral infection. We also showed that M2 penetrated cells, whose intracellular uptake depended on its proton channel activity,an effect observed in both TUDCA and M2 inhibitor amantadine. 7Optimization of sampling frequency for routine river water quality monitoring显示文摘Sampling frequency is an important factor to be considered during the design of a water monitoring network,and the cost-effective selection of possible ways and means for the optimization of sampling frequency is still needed.This paper introduces water pollution index deviation ratio comparison(WPI DRC),a procedure for the optimization of sampling frequency for a routine river water quality monitoring system.Sampling frequency optimized using WPI DRC at monitoring station X5 in the mainstream of Xiangjiang River is compared with that established using the traditional Statistical Algorithm method.The result of comparison indicates that WPI DRC is more feasible than the traditional one.And then,the sampling frequencies for other 16 monitoring stations also have been optimized,and the results show the sampling frequencies of all the stations except that X4 are reduced,and there is no unacceptable difference between water quality evaluation results at 17 stations before and after the optimization.Therefore,it is concluded that WPI DRC is an effective optimization process with operable results,which can be used to fulfill the requirement of practical monitoring work.LIU Yan ZHENG BingHui WANG Mei XU YanXue QIN YanWen 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,5:2
8Investigation of high extraction efficiency flip-chip GaN-based light-emitting diodes显示文摘In order to obtain higher light output power, the flip-chip structure is used. We studied the ratio of the light of GaN sides before and after fabricating metal reflector on p-GaN. The SiO2/SiNx dielectric film reflectors were deposited through plasma enhance chemical vapor deposition following the fabrication of metal reflector, and then the dielectric film reflectors on the electrodes were etched in order to expose the electrodes to the air. It is found that comparing with the flip-chip GaN-LED without dielectric film reflectors, light output power can be increased by as high as 10.2% after the deposition of 2 pairs of SiO2/SiNx dielectric film reflectors on GaN-LEDs, which cover the sidewalls and the areas without the metal reflector. 11Prediction Model of Drilling Costs for Ultra-Deep Wells Based on GA-BP Neural Network显示文摘Drilling costs of ultra-deepwell is the significant part of development investment,and accurate prediction of drilling costs plays an important role in reasonable budgeting and overall control of development cost.In order to improve the prediction accuracy of ultra-deep well drilling costs,the item and the dominant factors of drilling costs in Tarim oilfield are analyzed.Then,those factors of drilling costs are separated into categorical variables and numerous variables.Finally,a BP neural networkmodel with drilling costs as the output is established,and hyper-parameters(initial weights and bias)of the BP neural network is optimized by genetic algorithm(GA).Through training and validation of themodel,a reliable prediction model of ultra-deep well drilling costs is achieved.The average relative error between prediction and actual values is 3.26%.Compared with other models,the root mean square error is reduced by 25.38%.The prediction results of the proposed model are reliable,and the model is efficient,which can provide supporting for the drilling costs control and budget planning of ultra-deep wells.Wenhua Xu Yuming Zhu YingrongWei Ya Su YanXu Hui Ji Dehua Liu 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,7:1
12Chemical characters and protective effect of Baqi Lingmao formula(巴芪灵猫方) on experimental liver injury显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the chemical characters of water-extract of Baqi Lingmao formula(巴芪灵猫方,BQLM formula)and its effects on anti-liver injury in model mice and live cells.METHODS:BQLM formula was composed of ten herbal medicines.We determined the contents of alkaloids,saponins,phenolic acids and flavonoid in BQLM formula by UV spectrophotometry.The active components of alkaloids and phenolic acids in BQLM formula were identified by HPLC chromatography.The anti-hepatic injury effects of BQLM formula were investigated with concanavalin A(Con A)-induced hepatitis model of mice,human liver LO2 and Hep G2.2.15 cells.RESULTS:BQLM formula(2 and 10 g/kg,orally)significantly improved the damages of liver tissues and functions caused by Con A in mice,reduced the infiltration of inflammatory cells into liver and inhibited the inflammatory cytokine secretion of interferon-γ,tumor necrosis factor-αand interleukin-6.BQLM formula simultaneously decreased the levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase of liver and serum,and recovered the superoxide dismutase and catalase activities of liver to normal levels in Con A-induced hepatic-injury mice.The serum of BQLM formula group stimulated the human liver LO2 cell proliferation in vitro.Further,BQLM formula obviously promoted the proliferation of normal hepatocytes(LO2 cells)and inhibited the hepatocytes death induced by Con A.It also significantly inhibited the proliferation of Hep G2.2.15 cells and decreased the secretion of HBs Ag and HBe Ag in vitro.CONCLUSIONS:BQLM formula has anti-inflammation and anti-hepatitis virus Beffects,and is capable of improving liver injury in vivo and in vitro.LIU Lulu CHEN Yanxu LIU Lulu LI Man XU Rui QU Wensheng YIN Jiye ZHANG Xin ZHOU Zhenhua GAO Yating NIE Dan SHAN Junjie GAO Yueqiu 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6:0
13Field Investigation and Comparison Analysis of Low-Grade Heat Pump Technologies in Building Space Heating Projects显示文摘The building sector contributes a large ratio of final energy consumption,and improving building energy efficiency is expected to play a significant role in mitigating its carbon dioxide emission.Herein,we collected the on-site measurement data to investigate the techno-economic performances of different heat pump types that exist in building space heating projects in Qingdao,China.An in-depth analysis revealed the temperature variations of measured low-grade heat sources over the whole heating supply period,and urban sewage water shows high stable heat energy quality compared with seawater and geothermal heat resources.Operational behaviors including cycling inlet and outlet temperature of the selected heat pumps were illustrated,and analysis evaluated detailed effects of operational parameters on energy efficiency performances.Then the relationship between COPs distributions of heat pumps and operational conditions was examined further,and the positive effect of the rising temperature of heat sources on energy efficiency improvement of heat pump is highlighted when the heating supply temperature is higher.Furthermore,we analyzed the economic and carbon emission performance of the heat pump system,and results show that electricity price plays a vital role in the lifespan energy cost saving potential,and the heat pump could serve as a promising approach in reducing CO_(2) related to the building space heating.Finally,we recommended suggestions for improving the overall energy efficiency and cost competitiveness of decentralized heat pump systems for building space heating.Yanxue Li Weijun Gao Xiaoyi Zhang Wenya Xu Yingjun Ruan Yinzhong Wang 2022Energy Engineering2022,119,1:0

15Heavy metal gradients from rural to urban lakes in central China显示文摘Background:Limited information is available on heavy metal patterns in lakes under rapid watershed urbanization,especially considering a large spatial gradient with a long linear distance and great variations in topographic relief.To fill this gap,we studied concentrations of a series of heavy metals in both water and sediments from 20 lakes along a rural to urban gradient in central China,and we aimed to understand the effects of urban processes on heavy metal dynamics in lake ecosystems.Studied lakes were divided into five groups:A(rural reservoir group),B(rural commercial fishing group),C(urban park group),D(urban recreational fishing group),and E(urban commercial fishing group).An inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES)and an inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer(ICP-MS)were used to analyze the heavy metals in water and sediments.Results:An increasing trend of most heavy metals in water from rural to urban lakes was observed.Concentrations of cadmium(Cd),cobalt(Co),lead(Pb),chromium(Cr),arsenic(As),nickel(Ni),magnesium(Mn),iron(Fe),and aluminum(Al)in water were significantly lower in rural group A than those in other groups.Arsenic in sediments of rural group A was lower than those in other groups.No other heavy metal element in sediments was significantly different among groups.The enrichment factor analysis of selected heavy metals showed there were different degrees of enrichments of heavy metals in sediments.The potential ecological risk index showed a low level for heavy metals in sediments of all studied lakes.Conclusions:Results indicated that urban processes could have an impact on heavy metals in lake water.The sources of heavy metals in sediments were more likely from anthropogenic activities.These results could enhance our understanding of metal dynamics in lake ecosystems under urbanization and could help prevent heavy metal pollutions and promote sustainable management of urban ecosystems.Wentong Xia Rui Wang Bin Zhu Lars G.Rudstam Yinglong Liu Yanxue Xu Wei Xin Yushun Chen 2020Ecological Processes2020,9,1:0
16脑瘤灌注CT不同层厚CBV与rCBV测量的可重复性研究(英文)显示文摘Objective:To assess inter-and intraobserver reproducibility for measuring perfusion CT derived cerebral blood volume (CBV) and relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) with different slice thickness in patients with brain neoplasms. Meth- ods: Three independent observers who were blinded to the histopathologic diagnosis performed perfusion derived CBV and rCBV measurements with 5 mm and 10 mm slice thickness in 52 patients with various cerebral neoplasms. The results of the measurements with different slice thickness were compared. Calculation of coefficient of variation (CV), and relative paired difference of the measurements were used to determine the levels of inter- and intraobserver reproducibility. Results: The differences of CBV and rCBV measurements between different slice thickness groups were statistically significant (P < 0.05) respectively in observer 2, and were not significant in the other two observers (P > 0.05). For the same slice thickness, both the difference of CBV and rCBV measurements among the three observers were not statistically significant. Interobserver CV and relative paired difference of the measurements with 10 mm slice thickness group were slightly lower than those of 5 mm slice thickness group. Interobserver CV and relative paired difference of CBV group were slightly lower than those of rCBV group. The intraobserver differences of CBV and rCBV in 10 mm slice thickness group were statistically significant for observer 2 respectively. No other intraobserver differences of measurements were statistically significant. CV and relative paired difference of intraobserver CBV and rCBV measurements for observer 2 were significantly higher than for the other two observers. Conclusion: High reproducibility of CBV and rCBV measurements was acquired with the two different slice thickness. 17Study on the homocysteine metabolism of patients with unexplained repeated spontaneous abortion显示文摘Objective:To study the metabolism abnormality of homocysteine(Hcy) in unexplained repeated spontaneous abortion(URSA).Methods:The level of Hcy in sera was measured with hyperpressure liquid chromatography(HPLC);Folic acid and vitamin B 12 were detected by radioimmune assay;anticardiolipin antibody (ACA) was detected by ELISA.Results:(1)The level of serum Hcy in URSA group was significantly higher than that in control group,showing a statistical significant difference(P<0.01).The level of Hcy was correlated with ages,but not correlated with areas,numbers of miscarriage,gestation age,primary or secondary abortions.(2)The levels of folic acid and vitamin B 12 in URSA group were significantly lower than those in control group.The levels of serum folic acid and vitamin B 12 were not correlated with age,area,numbers of miscarriage and abortion periods.(3)ACA positive rate in URSA was significantly higher than that in control group.The level of Hcy in ACA(+) group was significantly higher than that in ACA(-) group among URSA patients.Conclusions:Hyperhomocysteinemia,low folic acid state,and ACA were all the independent risk factors for URSA.Lacking of folic acid and vitamin B 12 is one of the important causes of hyperhomocysteinemia.ACA and hyperhomocysteinemia may have synergistic action in the occurrence of URSA.Li Xiaomei,Lui Haiying,Xu Yanxue,Jiang Sen (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Qilu Hospital of Shandong University,Jinan 250012) 2003现代妇产科进展2003,12,4:0

19T-helper 1-type immunity to trophoblast in patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion显示文摘Objective:To test the hypothesis that peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in women with unexplained recurrent abortion (URA) produce T-helper 1 (Th1)-type cytokines in response to trophoblast antigens. Methods: A total of 25 women with URA and 15 reproductively normal parous control women participated the study. Supernatants from trophoblast-activatied PBMCs from all participants were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) for Th1-type cytokines [interleukin-2 (IL-2), interferon gamma (IFN-γ)] and Th2-type cytokines (IL-4,IL-10). Results: The levels of IL-2, IFN-γ in trophoblast-activitated PBMCs supernatants from URA patients were highr than those from reproductively normal women (P<0.05). In contrast, the supernatants from URA patients contained lower Th2-type cytokines (IL-4,IL- 10) (P<0.05). 20A novel biological sources consistency evaluation method reveals high level of biodiversity within wild natural medicine:A case study of Amynthas earthworms as'Guang Dilong'显示文摘For wild natural medicine,unanticipated biodiversity as species or varieties with similar morphological characteristics and sympatric distribution may co-exist in a single batch of medical materials,which affects the efficacy and safety of clinical medication.DNA barcoding as an effective species identification tool is limited by its low sample throughput nature.In this study,combining DNA minibarcode,DNA metabarcoding and species delimitation method,a novel biological sources consistency evaluation strategy was proposed,and high level of interspecific and intraspecific variations were observed and validated among 5376 Amynthas samples from 19 sampling points regarded as'Guang Dilong'and 25 batches of proprietary Chinese medicines.Besides Amynthas aspergillum as the authentic source,8 other Molecular Operational Taxonomic Units(MOTUs)were elucidated.Significantly,even the subgroups within A.aspergillum revealed here differ significantly on chemical compositions and biological activity.Fortunately,this biodiversity could be controlled when the collection was limited to designated areas,as proved by 2796'decoction pieces'samples.This batch biological identification method should be introduced as a novel concept regarding natural medicine quality control,and to offer guidelines for in-situ conservation and breeding bases construction of wild natural medicine.Zhimei Xing Han Gao Dan Wang Ye Shang Tenukeguli Tuliebieke Jibao Jiang Chunxiao Li Hong Wang Zhenguo Li Lifu Jia Yongsheng Wu Dandan Wang Wenzhi Yang Yanxu Chang Xiaoying Zhang Liuwei Xu Chao Jiang Luqi Huang Xiaoxuan Tian 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4:0
