1Programming of Regulatory T Cells In Situ for Nerve Regeneration and Long-Term Patency of Vascular Grafts显示文摘Rapid integration into the host tissue is critical for long-term patency after small diameter tissue engineering vascular grafts(sdTEVGs)transplantation.Neural recognition may be required for host integration and functionalization of the graft.However,immune rejection and inflammation hinder nerve regeneration of sdTEVGs.Here,a CRISPR/dCas9-nanocarrier was used for targeted programming of regulatory T cells(Treg cells)in situ to promote nerve regeneration of sdTEVGs by preventing excessive inflammation.Treg cells and(C-C chemokine receptor)CCR2+macrophage recruitment occurred after transplantation.The nanodelivery system upregulated ten eleven translocation(TET2)in Treg cells in vitro.Reprogrammed Treg cells upregulated anti-inflammatory cytokines and decreased the proportion of CCR2+macrophages.IL-6 concentrations decreased to the levels required for nerve regeneration.Implantation of CRISPR/dCas9 nanodelivery system-modified sdTEVGs in rats resulted in Treg cell editing,control of excessive inflammation,and promoted nerve regeneration.After 3 months,nerve regeneration was similar to that observed in normal blood vessels;good immune homeostasis,consistency of hemodynamics,and matrix regeneration were observed.Neural recognition promotes further integration of the graft into the host,with unobstructed blood vessels without intimal hyperplasia.Our findings provide new insights into vascular implant functionalization by the host.Yanhong Wang Fangchao Xue Yanzhao Li Lin Lin Yeqin Wang Shanlan Zhao Xingli Zhao Yong Liu Ju Tan Gang Li Haoran Xiao Juan Yan Hao Tian Min Liu Qiao Zhang Zhaojing Ba Lang He Wenyan Zhao Chuhong Zhu Wen Zeng 2022Research2022,,4:1
2Climate Suitability Assessment of Human Settlements for Regions along the Belt and Road显示文摘Climate is one important environmental variable that affects human life.As the regions along the Belt and Road(B&R)encompass vast territories and large populations,it is significant to assess climate suitability for human settlements,which will influence the migration of various surrounding countries.We selected seven regions including 65 countries along the B&R for the research area and adopted the temperature-humidity index(THI),to assess the climate suitability.We analyzed the spatial characteristics of THI and the correlation between population distribution and THI,the results of which enabled us to adjust the THI classification criteria.We finally assessed the climate suitability of each region.The results reveal that outside the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,the THI values generally tend to decrease from west to east as longitude increases and downward with increasing latitude.The population distribution is significantly correlated with the THI.Regions with relative suitable climate,including high suitability areas(HASs),moderately suitable areas(MSAs)and low suitability areas(LSAs),account for 50.62%of the total area and encompass in excess of 90%of total population.These areas are widely distributed in the southern regions of 45°N latitude,again with the exception of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Critical suitable area includes 19.48%of the entire area and 8.98%of total population.The non-suitable area accounts for less than 30%of total area,concentrated in the cold high-latitude and high-altitude areas.LIN Yumei LI Peng FENG Zhiming YANG Yanzhao YOU Zhen ZHU Fuxin 2021Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,6:1
3MdWRKY11 improves copper tolerance by directly promoting the expression of the copper transporter gene MdHMA5显示文摘Overuse of fungicides and fertilizers has resulted in copper(Cu)contamination of soils and toxic levels of Cu in apple fruits.To breed Cu-resistant apple(Malus domestica)cultivars,the underlying molecular mechanisms and key genes involved in Cu resistance must be identified.Here,we show that MdWRKY11 increases Cu tolerance by directly promoting the transcription of MdHMA5.MdHMA5 is a Cu transporter that may function in the storage of excess Cu in root cell walls and stems for Cu tolerance in apple.The transcription factor MdWRKY11 is highly induced by excess Cu.MdWRKY11 overexpression in transgenic apple enhanced Cu tolerance and decreased Cu accumulation.Apple calli transformed with an MdWRKY11-RNAi construct exhibited the opposite phenotype.Both an in vivo chromatin immunoprecipitation assay and an in vitro electrophoretic mobility shift assay indicated that MdWRKY11 binds to the promoter of MdHMA5.Furthermore,MdWRKY11 promoted MdHMA5 expression in transgenic apple plants,as revealed by quantitative PCR.Moreover,inhibition of MdWRKY11 expression by RNA interference led to a significant decrease in MdHMA5 transcription.Thus,MdWRKY11 directly regulates MdHMA5 transcription.Our work resulted in the identification of a novel MdWRKY11-MdHMA5 pathway that mediates Cu resistance in apple.Kun Shi Xuan Liu Yunpeng Zhu Yixue Bai Dongqian Shan Xiaodong Zheng Lin Wang Haixia Zhang Chanyu Wang Tianci Yan Fangfang Zhou Zehui Hu Yanzhao Sun Yan Guo Jin Kong 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:1
4Rapid estimation of earthquake loss based on instrumental seismic intensity: design and realization显示文摘As a result of our ability to acquire large volumes of real-time earthquake observation data, coupled with increased computer performance, near real-time seismic instrument intensity can be obtained by using ground motion data observed by instruments and by using the appropriate spatial interpolation methods. By combining vulnerability study results from earthquake disaster research with earthquake disaster assessment models, we can estimate the losses caused by devastating earthquakes,in an attempt to provide more reliable information for earthquake emergency response and decision support. This paper analyzes the latest progress on the methods of rapid earthquake loss estimation at home and abroad. A new method involving seismic instrument intensity rapid reporting to estimate earthquake loss is proposed and the relevant software is developed. 5Petroleum geology and sub-source hydrocarbon accumulation of Permian reservoirs in Jinan Sag,eastern Junggar Basin,NW China显示文摘According to the latest drilling and the analysis of the burial history,source rock evolution history and hydrocarbon accumulation history,the sub-source hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of the Permian reservoirs in the Jinan Sag,eastern Junggar Basin,are clarified,and the hydrocarbon accumulation model of these reservoirs is established.The results are obtained in four aspects.First,the main body of the thick salified lake basin source rocks in the Lucaogou Formation has reached the mature stage with abundant resource base.Large-scale reservoirs are developed in the Jingjingzigou,Wutonggou and Lucaogou formations.Vertically,there are multiple sets of good regional seals,the source-reservoir-caprock assemblage is good,and there are three reservoir-forming assemblages:sub-source,intra-source and above-source.Second,dissolution,hydrocarbon charging and pore-preserving effect,and presence of chlorite film effectively increase the sub-source pore space.Oil charging is earlier than the time when the reservoir becomes densified,which improves the efficiency of hydrocarbon accumulation.Third,buoyancy and source-reservoir pressure difference together constitute the driving force of oil charging,and the micro-faults within the formation give the advantage of'source-reservoir lateral docking'under the source rock.Microfractures can be critical channels for efficient seepage and continuous charging of oil in different periods.Fourth,the Jingjingzigou Formation experienced three periods of oil accumulation in the Middle-Late Permian,Middle-Late Jurassic and Late Neogene,with the characteristics of long-distance migration and accumulation in early stage,mixed charging and accumulation in middle stage and short-distance migration and high-position accumulation in late stage.The discovery and theoretical understanding of the Permian reservoirs in the Jinan Sag reveal that the thrust belt has good conditions for forming large reservoirs,and it is promising for exploration.The study results are of guidance and reference significance for oil and gas exploration in the Jinan Sag and other geologically similar areas.LI Jianzhong CHEN Xuan YANG Runze LIN Tong YANG Fan MA Qiang GOU Hongguang WEI Yanzhao LIN Lin 2023Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,3:0

7A nonparametric variable step-size subband adaptive filtering algorithm for acoustic echo cancellation显示文摘Acoustic echo cancellation is often applied in communication and video call system to reduce unnecessary echoes generated between speakers and microphones.In these systems,the speech input signal of the adaptive filter is often colored and unstable,which decays the convergence rate of the adaptive filter if the NLMS algorithm is used.In this paper,an improved nonparametric variable step-size subband(NPVSS-NSAF)algorithm is proposed to address the problem.The variable step-size is derived by minimizing the sum of the square Euclidean norm of the difference between the optimal weight vectors to be updated and the past estimated weight vectors.Then the parameters are eliminated by using the power of subband signal noise equal to the power of subband posteriori error.The performance of the proposed algorithm is simulated in the aspects of misalignment and return loss enhancement.Experiment results show a fast convergence rate and low misalignment of the proposed algorithm in system identification.Yue Song Yanzhao Ren Xinliang Liu Wanlin Gao Sha Tao Lin Guo 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,3:0
8Flexible radio-frequency micro electro-mechanical switch towards the applications of satellite communications显示文摘This paper presents a flexible radio-frequency microelectromechanical system(RF MEMS)switch integrated on cyclo-olefin polymer(COP)substrate using a modified surface MEMS processing technology,which could be used in the 17-19 GHz frequency band of satellite communication.Through systematic simulation analysis,it is found that flexible RF MEMS switch can achieve certain bending radius by miniaturizing the electronic dimension,without degrading the RF performance.It is demonstrated that the RF characteristics of flexible RF MEMS switch with special anchor structural design,fabricated by modified surface MEMS processing,are not sensitive to bending deformation under the curvature of 0 mm^(-1),0.05 mm^(-1),0.10 mm^(-1).Furthermore,the range of bending curvature which will affect the RF characteristics is given through systematic simulation.The flexible RF MEMS switch with high process compatibility and stable RF performance is believed to be promising candidates for future microwave communications and other consumer electronics.Yingli Shi Chao Zhou Zibo Cao Yurong He Jingwen Guo Chunxin Li Qianhong Wu Kui Liang Yanzhao Li Yuan Lin 2022npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1:0
