| 1 | A new adaptive mutative scale chaos optimization algorithm and its application显示文摘Based on results of chaos characteristics comparing one-dimensional iterative chaotic self-map x = sin(2/x) with infinite collapses within the finite region[-1,1] to some representative iterative chaotic maps with finite collapses (e.g., Logistic map, Tent map, and Chebyshev map), a new adaptive mutative scale chaos optimization algorithm (AMSCOA) is proposed by using the chaos model x = sin(2/x). In the optimization algorithm, in order to ensure its advantage of speed convergence and high precision in the seeking optimization process, some measures are taken: 1) the searching space of optimized variables is reduced continuously due to adaptive mutative scale method and the searching precision is enhanced accordingly; 2) the most circle time is regarded as its control guideline. | 4 | Design of PID controller with incomplete derivation based on differential evolution algorithm显示文摘To determine the optimal or near optimal parameters of PID controller with incomplete derivation, a novel design method based on differential evolution (DE) algorithm is presented. The controller is called DE-PID controller. To overcome the disadvantages of the integral performance criteria in the frequency domain such as IAE, ISE, and ITSE, a new performance criterion in the time domain is proposed. The optimization procedures employing the DE algorithm to search the optimal or near optimal PID controller parameters of a control system are demonstrated in detail. Three typical control systems are chosen to test and evaluate the adaptation and robustness of the proposed DE-PID controller. The simulation results show that the proposed approach has superior features of easy implementation, stable convergence characteristic, and good computational effciency. | 7 | Spatio-temporal variation of hydrological drought under climate change during the period 1960–2013 in the Hexi Corridor, China显示文摘In recent years, climate change has been aggravated in many regions of the world. The Hexi Corridor is located in the semiarid climate zone of Northwest China, which is particularly affected by climate change. Climate change has led to the spatial and temporal variations of temperature and precipitation, which may result in hydrological drought and water shortage. Thus, it is necessary to explore and assess the drought characteristics of river systems in this area. The patterns of hydrological drought in the Hexi Corridor were identified using the streamflow drought index(SDI) and standardized precipitation index at 12-month timescale(SPI12) from 1960 to 2013. The evolution of drought was obtained by the Mann–Kendall test and wavelet transform method. The results showed that both the mean annual SDI and SPI12 series in the Hexi Corridor exhibited an increasing trend during the study period. According to the results of wavelet analysis, we divided the study period into two segments, i.e. before and after 1990. Before 1990, the occurrence of droughts showing decreased SDI and SPI12 was concentrated in the northern part of the corridor and shifted to the eastern part of the corridor after 1990. The probability of drought after 1990 in Shule River basin decreased while increased in Shiyang River basin. The wavelet analysis results showed that Shiyang River basin will be the first area to go through the next drought period. Additionally, the relationships between drought pattern and climate indices were analyzed. The enhanced westerly winds and increased precipitation and glacier runoff were the main reasons of wet trend in the Hexi Corridor. | 8 | New mixed broadcast scheduling approach using neural networks and graph coloring in wireless sensor network显示文摘Due to the mutual interference and sharing of wireless links in TDMA wireless sensor networks, confiicts will occur when data messages are transmitting between nodes. The broadcast scheduling problem (BSP) is aimed to schedule each node in different slot of fixed length frame at least once, and the objective of BSP is to seek for the optimal feasible solution, which has the shortest length of frame slots, as well as the maximum node transmission. A two-stage mixed algorithm based on a fuzzy Hopfield neural network is proposed to solve this BSP in wireless sensor network. In the first stage, a modified sequential vertex coloring algorithm is adopted to obtain a minimal TDMA frame length. In the second stage, the fuzzy Hopfield network is utilized to maximize the channel utilization ratio. | 16 | Exploration and functionalization of M1-macrophage extracellular vesicles for effective accumulation in glioblastoma and strong synergistic therapeutic effects显示文摘Glioblastoma multiforme(GBM)is a highly aggressive brain tumor with an extremely low survival rate.New and effective approaches for treatment are therefore urgently needed.Here,we successfully developed M1-like macrophage-derived extracellular vesicles(M1EVs)that overcome multiple challenges via guidance from two macrophage-related observations in clinical specimens from GBM patients:enrichment of M2 macrophages in GBM;and origination of a majority of infiltrating macrophage from peripheral blood.To maximize the synergistic effect,we further functionalized the membranes of M1EVs with two hydrophobic agents(the chemical excitation source CPPO(C)and the photosensitizer Ce6(C))and loaded the hydrophilic hypoxiaactivated prodrug AQ4N(A)into the inner core of the M1EVs.After intravenous injection,the inherent nature of M1-derived extracellular vesicles CCA-M1EVs allowed for blood-brain barrier penetration,and modulated the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment via M2-to-M1 polarization,which increased hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))levels.Furthermore,the reaction between H_(2)O_(2) and CPPO produced chemical energy,which could be used for Ce6 activation to generate large amounts of reactive oxygen species to achieve chemiexcited photodynamic therapy(CDT).As this reaction consumed oxygen,the aggravation of tumor hypoxia also led to the conversion of non-toxic AQ4N into toxic AQ4 for chemotherapy.Therefore,CCA-M1EVs achieved synergistic immunomodulation,CDT,and hypoxia-activated chemotherapy in GBM to exert a potent therapeutic effect.Finally,we demonstrated the excellent effect of CCA-M1EVs against GBM in cell-derived xenograft and patient-derived xenograft models,underscoring the strong potential of our highly flexible M1EVs system to support multi-modal therapies for difficult-to-treat GBM. | Xiaojun Wang Hui Ding Zongyang Li Yaonan Peng Hui Tan Changlong Wang Guodong Huang Weiping Li Guanghui Ma Wei Wei | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 3 |
