| 6 | Optimized selection of suitable sites for farmland consolidation projects using multi-objective genetic algorithms显示文摘In order to select suitable sites for farmland consolidation projects,correlation analysis and evolutionary algorithms were used to optimize the evaluation of ecological,social and economic factors,avoiding subjective selection and ignorance of spatial relationships among land attributes.Multi-objective Genetic Algorithms(MOGA)were applied to select the best sites from the perspective of spatial relationship and land attribute evaluation.With carefully defined restrictions and variables,multi-objective optimization is able to select several suitable sites for farmland consolidation projects.The results from a case study in Yangshan,Guangdong of China showed that the selected sites were on the central and southern Yangshan with expected flat terrain and abundant water resources.An empirical experiment also demonstrated that the proposed method is able to provide well selected sites for land consolidation projects. | Wang Lu Huang Ningsheng Kuang Yaoqiu Zhou Jinhao Zhao Yuan Zhang Zhen Hu Yueming | 2014 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,3: | 1 |

| 15 | Auditory detection of sound signals with complex time-frequency characteristics显示文摘The mechanism of the human auditory system in detecting sound signals with complex time frequency charcteristics in a white noise background was reviewed and discussed.The efficiency of such auditory detection was assessed by comparing it with that of parallel visual detection of the output of an analogous model displayed on the oscilloscope screen. The results suggest that the detection model of the human auditory system is quite similar to a tone correlator when the time frequency characteristics of the signal are known and to an energy detector when the signal is unknown. | 19 | A study of auditory responses to transitions of signal frequencies显示文摘In the study of detecting sonar signals with complex time frequency compositions under a noise-background by human.auditory system, the problem of auditory responses to the transitions of signal frequencies has been examined through a number of testes. According to the results from measurements within a frequency region of 850-1130 Hz, an equation (τ.ΔF = 1 - 2) defining the ambiguous region of responding to frequency transitions by human auditory system is found, where ΔF and τ are the difference and duration of the transition between two frequencies, respectively. When τ·ΔF≤1, the human auditory system can hardly sense the transition between two frequencies.
