1Different surface modification methods and coating materials of zinc metal anode显示文摘Rechargeable aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs)are one of the most promising energy storage devices for large-scale energy storage owing to their high specific capacity,eco-friendliness,low cost and high safety.Nevertheless,zinc metal anodes suffer from severe dendrite growth and side reactions,resulting in the inferior electrochemical performance of AZIBs.To address these problems,surface modification of zinc metal anodes is a facile and effective method to regulate the interaction between the zinc anode and an electrolyte.In this review,the current challenges and strategies for zinc metal anodes are presented.Furthermore,recent advances in surface modification strategies to improve their electrochemical performance are concluded and discussed.Finally,challenges and prospects for future development of zinc metal anodes are proposed.We hope this review will be useful for designing and fabricating highperformance AZIBs and boosting their practical applications.Feng Tao Yong Liu Xinyuan Ren Jing Wang Yazhou Zhou Yingjie Miao Fengzhang Ren Shizhong Wei Jianmin Ma 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:4
2Characteristics of the Asian–Pacific Oscillation in Boreal Summer Simulated by BCC_CSM with Different Horizontal Resolutions显示文摘The summer Asian–Pacific Oscillation(APO) is a major teleconnection pattern that reflects the zonal thermal contrast between East Asia and the North Pacific in the upper troposphere. The performance of Beijing Climate Center Climate System Models(BCC CSMs) with different horizontal resolutions, i.e., BCC CSM1.1 and BCC CSM1.1(m), in reproducing APO interannual variability, APO-related precipitation anomalies, and associated atmospheric circulation anomalies, is evaluated.The results show that BCC CSM1.1(m) can successfully capture the interannual variability of the summer APO index. It is also more capable in reproducing the APO's spatial pattern, compared to BCC CSM1.1, due to its higher horizontal resolution. Associated with a positive APO index, the northward-shifted and intensified South Asian high, strengthened extratropical westerly jet, and tropical easterly jet in the upper troposphere, as well as the southwesterly monsoonal flow over North Africa and the Indian Ocean in the lower troposphere, are realistically represented by BCC CSM1.1(m), leading to an improvement in reproducing the increased precipitation over tropical North Africa, South Asia, and East Asia, as well as the decreased precipitation over subtropical North Africa, Japan, and North America. In contrast, these features are less consistent with observations when simulated by BCC CSM1.1. 3Material records for Mesozoic destruction of the North China Craton by subduction of the Paleo-Pacific slab显示文摘It is well known that the destruction of the North China Carton(NCC)is closely related to subduction of the Paleo-Pacific slab,but materials recording such subduction has not been identified at the peak time of decratonization.This paper presents data of whole-rock major and trace elements and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes and zircon U-Pb ages and Hf-O isotopes for Mesozoic volcanic rocks from the Liaodong-Jinan region in the northeastern NCC,in order to trace the subduction-related materials in their source and origin.The Mesozoic volcanic rocks in the Liaodong-Jinan region are mainly composed of two series of rocks,including alkaline basaltic trachyandesite,trachyandesite and trachyte,and subalkaline trachyandesite and andesite.Zircon U-Pb dating yields eruption ages of 129–124 Ma for these rocks.The Early Cretaceous volcanic rocks are all enriched in LILEs(such as Rb,Sr,Ba and Th)and LREEs,depleted in HFSEs(such as Nb,Ta and Ti),indicating that they were originated from mantle sources that had been modified by subducted crustal materials.However,they have relatively heterogeneous and variable isotopic compositions.The alkaline basaltic trachyandesite,trachyandesite and trachyte have enriched whole-rock Sr-Nd-Hf and zircon Hf isotopic compositions and mantle-likeδ18O values,suggesting that they were derived from low-degree partial melting of an isotopically enriched lithospheric mantle source.In contrast,the subalkaline trachyandesite and andesite have relatively depleted isotopic compositions with zirconεHf(t)values up to+5.2 and heavy zircon O isotopic compositions with δ18O values of+8.1‰to+9.0‰,indicating that they were originated from a lithospheric mantle source that had been metasomatized by melts/fluids derived from the recycled low-T altered oceanic basalt.All of these geochemical features suggest that the Early Cretaceous volcanic rocks in the Liaodong-Jinan region would result from mixing of mafic magmas with different compositions.Such magmas were originated from the enriched lithospheric mantle and the young metasomatized mantle,respectively,with variable extents of enrichment and depletion in trace elements,radiogenic isotopes and O isotopes.Importantly,the identification of the low-T altered oceanic crust component in the origin of Early Cretaceous volcanic rocks by the zircon Hf-O isotopes provides affirmative isotopic evidence and direct material records for Mesozoic subduction of the Paleo-Pacific slab that induced decratonization of the North China Craton.Yazhou FENG Jinhui YANG Jinfeng SUN Jiheng ZHANG 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,5:2
4Two-stage degradation and novel functional endothelium characteristics of a 3-D printed bioresorbable scaffold显示文摘Bioresorbable scaffolds have emerged as a new generation of vascular implants for the treatment of atherosclerosis,and designed to provide a temporary scaffold that is subsequently absorbed by blood vessels over time.Presently,there is insufficient data on the biological and mechanical responses of blood vessels accompanied by bioresorbable scaffolds(BRS)degradation.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the inflexion point of degradation,the response of blood vessels,and the pathophysiological process of vascular,as results of such studies will be of great value for the design of next generation of BRS.In this study,abdominal aortas of SD rats were received 3-D printed poly-l-actide vascular scaffolds(PLS)for various durations up to 12 months.The response of PLS implanted aorta went through two distinct processes:(1)the neointima with desirable barrier function was obtained in 1 month,accompanied with slow degradation,inflammation,and intimal hyperplasia;(2)significant degradation occurred from 6 months,accompanied with decreasing inflammation and intimal hyperplasia,while the extracellular matrix recovered to normal vessels which indicate the positive remodeling.These in vivo results indicate that 6 months is a key turning point.This“two-stage degradation and vascular characteristics”is proposed to elucidate the long-term effects of PLS on vascular repair and demonstrated the potential of PLS in promoting endothelium function and positive remodeling,which highlights the benefits of PLS and shed some light in the future researches,such as drug combination coatings design.Tieying Yin Ruolin Du Yang Wang Junyang Huang Shuang Ge Yuhua Huang Youhua Tan Qing Liu Zhong Chen Hanqing Feng Jie Du Yazhou Wang Guixue Wang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:2

7Accelerating electron transport in Eosin Y by bidentately bridging on BaSnO_(3)for noble-metal-free photocatalytic H 2 production显示文摘The separation and transport of photogenerated carriers is regarded as a curial factor in photocatalytic H_(2)pro-duction.As known in solar cells and photoelectron-chemistry,to strengthen the electron conduction for effective utilization of carriers,the electron transport material(ETM)is widely applied.Herein,inspired by the function of ETM,we adopted barium stannate(BaSnO_(3),labeled as BSO)as an excellent ETM which had the merits of high electron mobility,suitable conduction band position and simple preparation,to adjust the carrier kinetics of dye Eosin Y(EY)-sensitized photocatalytic system.Detailly,the photocatalytic system with the spatial sepa-ration sites of photogenerated carriers excitation and water reduction reaction was elaborately constructed,that was,dye EY-sensitized BSO(EY/BSO)for photocatalytic H_(2)production.The photocatalytic H_(2)-production rate of EY/BSO(257��mol·h^(−1)·g EY^(−1))in the absence of noble metals was 28.6 times higher than that of single EY(∼9��mol·h^(−1)·g EY^(−1))under visible-light irradiation.With systematic and comprehensive characterizations,the formed electron transport channel by the bidentate bridging of EY on BSO could accelerate the transfer of photogenerated electrons from EY to BSO,promoting the effective separation of photogenerated carriers for the enhanced pho-tocatalytic performance.Moreover,the water reduction reaction for H_(2)production proceeded on the surface of BSO that acted as the H_(2)-evolution cocatalyst,avoiding the use of high-cost noble metals.Furthermore,based on the well-proved ETM-based concept in the EY/BSO system,La-doped BaSnO_(3)(LBSO)with better electron trans-port ability was adopted to construct EY/LBSO system(344��mol·h^(−1)·g EY^(−1))which showed better photocatalytic activity than EY/BSO.Jinwen Shi Huaiyu Lu Xing Kang Lulu Hou Feng Chen Yazhou Zhang Kang Chen Xiao Wang Xiangjiu Guan Lijing Ma 2023Energy Storage and Saving2023,2,1:0

9Dynamics of non-metal-regulated FeCo bimetal microenvironment on oxygen reduction reaction activity and intrinsic mechanism显示文摘The change in the coordination environment of the active sites of a fuel cell cathode catalyst provides a new modulation strategy for stimulating the catalyst’s oxygen reduction reaction activity.The thermodynamic and electronic properties of the FeCoN5A and FeCoN6A catalyst structures with nonmetallic A-doped(A=B,N,O,P,and S)coordination were calculated and analyzed based on density functional theory.The modulation order of G*OH by different A-doped FeCo bimetal pairs(BMPs)was as follows:S>P>O>N/C>B.There was a dynamic distribution of charges in the coordination environment during the adsorption of OH,which resulted in inversely proportional relationship with the charge transfer between the adsorbate OH,active site,first coordination layer,and second coordination layer in turn.Descriptors of the orbital energy levels of neighboring nonmetal atoms were constructed based on the p-electron number and electronegativity of the doped nonmetal A.The change of the orbital energy levels of the first coordination atom during the adsorption process caused the structure to exhibit different adsorption energies.This study provides new insights on the non-metallic modulation of the M-N-C coordination environment to improve the oxygen reduction reaction activity.Hong Cui Tong Liu Yunjian Chen Pengyue Shan Qi Jiang Xue Bai Yazhou Wang Zhiyong Liang Rong Feng Qin Kang Hongkuan Yuan 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
