1Carbon monoxide-induced adventitious rooting of hypo-cotyl cuttings from mung bean seedling显示文摘In this paper, the regulatory role of ex-ogenous carbon monoxide (CO) during the genera-tion and development of adventitious roots in mung bean (Phaseolus radiatus L. cv. Mingguang) hypo-cotyl cuttings was surveyed. The results indicated that, like nitric oxide (NO), CO donor Hematin in-duced adventitious rooting in dose- and time-de- pendent manners. These responses were also prov- en by the addition of gaseous CO aqueous solution with different concentrations. Additionally, the above CO-mediated effect was differently reversed when CO scavenger hemoglobin (Hb), CO specific syn-thetic inhibitor ZnPPIX, the auxin transport inhibitor NPA and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) inhibitor L-NAME were added with Hematin, respectively. Furthermore, after being treated with CO for 36 h, NO fluorescence was significantly enhanced and mainly distributed in the zone of vascular bundles whereas the specific NO scavenger cPTIO significantly inhib-ited NO fluorescence induced by CO, indicating that CO induces adventitious rooting of hypocotyl cuttings from mung bean seedling probably mediated by NO/NOS pathway.XU Ji XUAN Wei HUANG Benkai ZHOU Yehua LING Tengfang XU Sheng SHEN Wenbiao 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,6:16
2Chinese progress in geomorphometry显示文摘Geomorphometry,the science of digital terrain analysis(DTA),is an important focus of research in both geomorphology and geographical information science(GIS).Given that 70% of China is mountainous,geomorphological research is popular among Chinese scholars,and the development of GIS over the last 30 years has led to significant advances in geomorphometric research.In this paper,we review Chinese progress in geomorphometry based on the published literature.There are three major areas of progress:digital terrain modelling methods,DTA methods,and applications of digital terrain models(DTMs).First,traditional vector-and raster-based terrain modelling methods,including the assessment of uncertainty,have received widespread attention.New terrain modelling methods such as unified raster and vector,high-fidelity,and real-time dynamic geographical scene modelling have also attracted research attention and are now a major focus of digital terrain modelling research.Second,in addition to the popular DTA methods based on topographical derivatives,geomorphological features,and hydrological factors extracted from DTMs,DTA methods have been extended to include analyses of the structure of underlying strata,ocean surface features and even socioeconomic spatial structures.Third,DTMs have been applied to fields including global climate change,analysis of various typical regions,lunar surface and other related fields.Clearly,Chinese scholars have made significant progress in geomorphometry.Chinese scholars have had the greatest international impact in areas including high-fidelity digital terrain modelling and DTM-based regional geomorphological analysis,particularly in the Loess Plateau and the Tibetan Plateau regions.LV Guonian XIONG Liyang CHEN Min TANG Guoan SHENG Yehua LIU Xuejun SONG Zhiyao LU Yuqi YU Zhaoyuan ZHANG Ka WANG Meizhen 2017Journal of Geographical Sciences2017,27,11:14
3Geometric algebra method for multidimensionally-unified GIS computation显示文摘Seamless multidimensional handling and coordinate-free characteristics of geometric algebra (GA) provide means to construct multidimensionally-unified GIS computation models. Using the multivector representation for basic geometric objects within GA, we are able to construct adaptable unified geometric-topological structural models of a multidimensional geographical scene. Multidimensional operators found within the geometry, topology and GIS analysis are developed with basic GA operators. A unified computational framework is proposed, it unifies expressions and operation structures, as well as supports the analysis of multidimensional complex scenes. Finally, we illustrate modelling a three-dimensional residential district, which shows that GAbased multidimensionally-unified computation models can effectively represent and analyze complex and multidimensional geographical scenes. 6Processes and events in the centre:a dynamic data model for representing spatial change显示文摘Traditional geographic information system models for map representation use superposition of layers to model physical reality,neglecting the integrity of the environment and limiting the ability to express interactions between features in complex phenomenon.This results in limitations regarding dynamic simulation and geographic causality reasoning.In this paper,we extend the framework of the geographic scene by formalizing the relationship between geographic processes and events to construct a dynamic data model:the process-event-centred dynamic data model.The key element of this data model is relationships between processes,events,and states of the natural or man-made phenomenon of interest.The identified relationships can be translated into a network of hierarchical,developmental,and causal graphs and realized in the Neo4j graph database.The implementation in the graph database supports spatio-temporal reasoning in geographic scenes and achieves an organizational framework for simulating spatio-temporal dynamics and complex calculations.The example of a 2019 mega-typhoon process is used to demonstrate the introduced process-event-centred model and its implementation in the graph database.A series of queries to the graph database show the capabilities of the data model for spatial reasoning and dynamic modeling.Yufeng He Yehua Sheng Barbara Hofer Yi Huang Jiarui Qin 2022International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1:1

11Microstructure refinement-homogenization and flexural strength improvement of Al_(2)O_(3) ceramics fabricated by DLP-stereolithography integrated with chemical precipitation coating process显示文摘In this study,the chemical precipitation coating(CP)process was creatively integrated with DLP-stereolithography based 3D printing for refining and homogenizing the microstructure of 3D printed Al_(2)O_(3) ceramic.Based on this novel approach,Al_(2)O_(3)powder was coated with a homogeneous layer of amorphous Y2O3,with the coated AI2O3 powder found to make the microstructure of 3D printed Al_(2)O_(3) ceramic more uniform and refined,as compared with the conventional mechanical mixing(MM)of Al_(2)O_(3) and Y_(2)O_(3) powders.The grain size of Al_(2)O_(3) in Sample CP is 64.44%and 51.43%lower than those in the monolithic Al_(2)O_(3) ceramic and Sample MM,respectively.Sample CP has the highest flexural strength of 455.37±32.17 MPa,which is 14.85%and 25.45%higher than those of Samples MM and AL,respectively;also Sample CP has the highest Weibull modulus of 16.88 among the three kinds of samples.Moreover,the fine grained Sample CP has a close thermal conductivity to the coarse grained Sample MM because of the changes in morphology of Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) phase from semi-connected(Sample MM)to isolated(Sample CP).Finally,specially designed fin-type Al_(2)O_(3) ceramic heat sinks were successfully fabricated via the novel integrated process,which has been proven to be an effective method for fabricating complex-shaped Al_(2)O_(3) ceramic components with enhanced flexural strength and reliability.Guanglin NIE Yehua LI Pengfei SHENG Fei ZUO Haolin WU Leiren LIU Xin DENG Yiwang BAO Shanghua WU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4:0
