1Preparation and characterization of β-cyclodextrin grafted N-maleoyl chitosan nanoparticles for drug delivery显示文摘β-cyclodextrin (CD) grafted N-maleoyl chitosan (CD-g-NMCS) with two different degrees of substitution (DS) of N-maleoyl (DS = 21.2% and 30.5%) were synthesized from maleic anhydride and chitosan bearing pendant cyclodextrin (CD-g-CS). CD-g-NMCS based nanoparticles were prepared via an ionic gelation method together with chitosan and CD-g-CS nanoparticles.The size and zeta potential of prepared CD-g-NMCS nanoparticles were 179.2~274.0 nm and 36.2~42.4 m V, respectively. In vitro stability test indicated that CD-g-NMCS nanoparticles were more stable in phosphate-buffered saline compared with chitosan nanoparticles. Moreover, a poorly water-soluble drug, ketoprofen (KTP), was selected as a model drug to study the obtained nanoparticle’s potentials as drug delivery carriers. The drug loading efficiency of CD-g-NMCS20 nanoparticles were 14.8% for KTP. MTT assay showed that KTP loaded CD-g-NMCS nanoparticles were safe drug carriers. Notably, in vitro drug release studies showed that KTP was released in a sustained-release manner for the nanoparticles. The pharmacokinetic of drug loaded CD-g-NMCS20 nanoparticles were evaluated in rats after intravenous administration. The results of studies revealed that, compared with free KTP, KTP loaded CD-g-NMCS20 nanoparticles exhibited a significant increase in AUC0→24h and mean residence time by 6.6-fold and 2.9-fold, respectively. Therefore, CD-g-NMCS nanoparticles could be used as a novel promising nanoparticle-based drug delivery system for sustained release of poorly water-soluble drugs. 2Nanoparticle structure transformation of mPEG grafted chitosan with rigid backbone induced by a-cyclodextrin显示文摘This paper presented an interesting nanoparticle-based drug delivery system with morphology transition behavior depending on the content of exposed PEG chain on the particle surface, which is adjustable by addition of different amount of cyclodextrin(a-CD). The effect of a-CD inclusion to the self-assembly behavior of methoxy polyethylene glycol(mPEG) grafted chitosan(CS) was studied. The results showed that the mPEG grafted chitosan(mPEG-[9_TD$IF]g-CS) forms self-assembled nanoparticles with either micelle or hollow sphere morphology depending on the ratio of a-CD to mPEG, as characterized by atomic force microscopy(AFM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Their sizes and zeta potential increased from 257.6 nmto 768.2 nm and from +4.5 mV to +11.6 mV, respectively, with the increasing amount of a-CD. The correlation between zeta potential and particle size of a-CD/mPEG-[9_TD$IF]g-CS nanoparticles indicated varied PEG density on surface of nanoparticles. 3Phase diagram of the CsBr-CaBr_2 system显示文摘The phase diagram of the CsBr-CaBr2 system was re-determined by using differential thermal analysis and high temperature and room temperature X-ray diffraction analysis. It is concluded that there are three intermediate compounds in this system: a congruently melting compound, CsCaBr3, with a melting point of 823°C and two incongruently melting compounds, Cs2CaBr4 and Cs3Ca2Br7, whose peritectic points being 597°C and 635°C, respectively. 4Redistribution process of precipitation in ecological restoration activity of Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica in Mu Us Sandy Land,China显示文摘Precipitation is the most important water resource in semi-arid regions of China.The redistribution of precipitation among atmospheric water,soil water and groundwater are related to the land surface afforested ecological system.The study took widely replanted Pinus sylvestris var.Mongolica(PSM)in Mu Us Sandy Land(MUSL)as a research object and monitored precipitation,soil moisture,sap flow,and deep soil recharge(DSR)to find out moisture distribution in shallow soil layers.Results showed that the restoration process of PSM in MUSL changed the distribution of precipitation,with part of it infltrating downward as DsR and part of it being stored in the shallow soil.Consequently,evapotranspiration increased and DsR significantly decreased,resulting in up to 466.9 mm of precipitation returning to the atmosphere through evapotranspiration in 2016.Vegetation increased soil water storage(SwS)capacity,with maximum SWS in PSM plot and bare sandy land(BSL)being 260 mm and 197 mm per unit horizontal area,respectively in 2016.DSR decreased from 54%of precipitation in the BSL plot to 0.2%of precipitation in the PSM plot in 2016.A great portion of infiltrated water was stored in the PSM ecosystem,resulting in a time lag of infiltration to reach the deep soil layer,and the infiltration rate in the BSL plot was 11 times of that in the PSM plot.SWS decreased 16 mm and 7.6 mm per unit horizontal area over a one-year period(from March to October,non-freezing time)in 2017 and 2019,respectively.The PSM annual sap flow was maintained at a relatively constant level of 154 mm/yr.Through in-situ measurement and comparative analysis of the precipitation redistribution of the BSL plot and the PSM plot,we find that PSM can significantly reduce the shallow soil water storage and DSR.However,substantial reduction of shallow soil water storage and DsR is detrimental for the long-term development of PSM forest.Therefore,it is necessary to reduce PSM density to cut the water consumption by PSM per unit area,thus to augment the shallow SWS and DSR,which will be beneficial for the PSM to survive under extreme drought conditions in the future.This study helps us understand the role of precipitationinduced groundwater recharge in the process of vegetation restoration in semi-arid regions and explains thepossiblecauses of PSM forest degradation.Yiben Cheng Hongbin Zhan Wenbin Yang Wei Feng Qi Lu Yunqi Wang Qunou Jiang Bin Wang Mingchang Shi Tao Wang Zhiming Xin Ruifang Hao 2023International Soil and Water Conservation Research2023,11,3:0
5Formability of Rare Earth-Containing Solid Solution Based on Compounds with Scheelite-Type Structure显示文摘The regularities of the solid solutions between the scheelite-type compounds and rare earth molybdates or tungstates were investigated by the atomic parameter-support vector machine method and the intelligent database of phase diagrams of molten salt systems. The crystal structure of scheelite-type compounds having MIM′Ⅲ(XO4)2 (X=Mo, W) as common formula and the formability of the continuous solid solution between these compounds and rare earth molybdates or tungstates were also investigated. Besides, the cell constants of these compounds can be calculated by some semi-empirical equations.
