Laser Remelting of Plasma Sprayed NiCrAlY and NiCrAlY-Al_2O_3 Coatings显示文摘Two types of plasma sprayed coatings (NiCrAlY and NiCrAlY-A12O3) were remelted by a 5 kW cw CO2 laser. With increasing laser power and decreasing traverse speed in the ranges of 200-700 W and 5-30 mm/s respectively, the melted track grew in width and depth. In the optimum range of laser parameters, a homogeneous remelted layer without voids, cavities, unmelted particles and microcracks was formed. On the surface of remelted layers, Al203 and YAIO3 were detected. As a result of isothermal oxidation tests, weight gains of laser remelted coatings were obviously lower than that only plasma sprayed, especially laser remelted NiCrAlY-Al2O3 coatings. The effects of laser remelting and incorporation of A12O3 second phase in N1CrAlY matrix on high temperature oxidation resistance were discussed.Yingna WU, Gang ZHA NC, Bingchun ZHANG, Zhongchao FENG and Yong LIANG Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang 110016, China Fangjun LIU Key Laboratory for High Energy Density Beam Processing Technology, Beijing Aeronautical Manu 2001Journal of Materials Science & Technology2001,17,5:3
Composite thermal protection coating on woven silica fiber fabrics显示文摘A composite coating with inner and outer layers was prepared for the thermal protection of woven silica fiber fabrics.Using a sol mixture of a silica sol and AlF3/SiO2 particles mixed in the stoichiometric molar ratio for mullite, hollow silica spheres and short mullite fibers were added to the inner layer and outer layer, respectively. The phase composition and thermal evolution of the coating, along with the interfacial microstructure between the coating and the matrix, were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry/thermogravimetry,scanning electron microscopy, and tensile strength testing.Mullite whiskers grew between 950°C and 1200°C and helped prevent thermal cracking during the drying and densification processes. The hollow silica spheres might play dual roles, weakening the adhesion between the coating and the fibers by reducing their direct contact, but strengthening the joining between the coating and substrate by embedding themselves among the fabrics.LIU MengXia XUE Tao ZHAO YingNa LIU Shan LIU JiaChen 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,6:2

A review of the wave gradiometry method for seismic imaging显示文摘As dense seismic arrays at different scales are deployed, the techniques to make full use of array data with low computing cost become increasingly needed. The wave gradiometry method(WGM)is a new branch in seismic tomography, which utilizes the spatial gradients of the wavefield to determine the phase velocity, wave propagation direction, geometrical spreading, and radiation pattern.Seismic wave propagation parameters obtained using the WGM can be further applied to invert 3D velocity models,Q values, and anisotropy at lithospheric(crust and/or mantle)and smaller scales(e.g.,industrial oilfield or fault zone).Herein,we review the theoretical foundation, technical development, and major applications of the WGM,and compared the WGM with other commonly used major array imaging methods.Future development of the WGM is also discussed.Chuntao Liang Feihuang Cao Zhijin Liu Yingna Chang 2023Earthquake Science2023,36,3:0

Following the Right Path Forward显示文摘On August 15,2005,Xi Jinping, then Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, paid a visit to Yucun Village in Anji County, where he introduced the key concept that“lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”for the first time.On March 30,2020,he visited the village once again.Seeing how it had changed,he said that the village’s success is a proof that green development is the right path, and that we must persevere in following this path forward.Local resident Pan Chunlin bubbled with excitement when he spoke about Xi Jinping’s visit.Mr.Pan,who was the first person in Yucun Village to have a go at opening a farm stay, said,“I never would have thought that the President would visit my business. This is a day I will never forget!”Di Yingna Liu Weida 2020Qiu Shi2020,12,5:0
Quantifying spatial distribution of interrill and rill erosion in a loess at different slopes using structure from motion(SfM)photogrammetry显示文摘The spatial distribution of interrill and rill erosion is essential for unravelling soil erosion principles and the application of soil and water conservation practices. To quantify interrill and rill erosion and their spatial development, four 30-min rainfalls at 90 mm h^(-1)intensity were consecutively simulated on runoff plots packed with a loess at six slopes of 10°,15°,20°,25°,30°and 35°.The soil surface was measured using the structure from motion(SfM)photogrammetry upon each simulation run,and the runoff and sediment samples were collected and measured at every 10 min.Rills did not develop until the third simulation run.During the initial two runs, the lower third section was more severely eroded than the upper and middle thirds along the slope direction, yet the interrill erosion was statistically uniform from left to right.Rills tended to emerge by both sidewalls and in the lower portion in the third run.The corresponding rill erosion increased with slope from 10°to 20°and then decreased for the slopes steeper, which was consistent with the slope trend of the sediment yield directly measured. The rills expanded substantially primarily via head retreat and to a lesser extent via sideward erosion after receiving another 30-min rainfall.Rill erosion contributed 69.3%of the total erosion loss, and shifted the critical slope corresponding to the maximum loss from 20°to 25°.These findings demonstrate the significance of rill erosion not only in total soil loss but also in its relation to slope,as well as the effectiveness of SfM photogrammetry in quantifying interrill and rill erosion.Tao He Yang Yang Yangzi Shi Xiaozhen Liang Suhua Fu Gege Xie Baoyuan Liu Yingna Liu 2022International Soil and Water Conservation Research2022,10,3:0
Prospects of sediment deposition at small watershed scale in the black soil region of Northeast China: A mini review显示文摘Sediment deposition is one of the most significant processes in small watersheds characterized by gentle long hillslopes in the black soil(Mollisol)region of Northeast China, as indicated by severe ephemeral gully and gully erosion on hillslopes and very low sediment concentrations in river systems.Few reviews have been conducted to summarize the related research in this region. The objectives of this review were to identify the potential factors influencing sediment deposition, review related studies, and propose future research needs in the black soil region of Northeast China. Sediment deposition is controlled by the deficit between sediment transport capacity of flow and sediment load. Hence, all factors affecting flow transport capacity and sediment load directly affect sediment deposition. For a specific small watershed, the change in slope gradient along the flow path is the key factor affecting sediment deposition. Shelterbelts, ridge tillage systems, terraces, grass strips, road distribution, ponds and reservoirs, and land-use patterns also influence the spatial distribution and rate of deposition. The trace method has been widely used to quantify sediment deposition in this region. The results of cesium-137(^(137)Cs),lead-210(^(210)Pb), and magnetic susceptibility reveal that serious deposition occurs on the back and foot slopes. Distinct deposition occurs in front of contour shelterbelts. Future studies should focus on the methodology, spatial and temporal variations, dominant influencing factors and their mechanisms, and the potential effects on land productivity within specific small watersheds and across the black soil region. This review provides insights into the sediment deposition process in small watersheds characterized by gentle, long hillslopes.Guanghui ZHANG Yang YANG Yingna LIU Zhiqiang WANG 2024Pedosphere2024,34,1:0
