| 2 | Key parameter estimation for radar rotating object imaging with multi-aspect observations显示文摘Rotating object model is commonly used for imaging analysis in high resolution radars such as the inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR). For a rotating object, it is known that multi-aspect observations can improve cross-range resolution with the known imaging geometry. For the non-cooperative rotating object with unknown imaging geometry, this paper proposes an integrated scheme to estimate the key parameters, e.g., the rotating velocity and the aspect angle difference between every two observations. Furthermore, convolution back-projection (CBP) method is applied to provide fused imaging result with improved resolution. Also, the accuracy of the ultimate parameter estimation is analyzed, which is strongly related with several important factors like position extraction error of scattering centers and so on. | 3 | Hes1 Knockdown Exacerbates Ischemic Stroke Following tMCAO by Increasing ER Stress-Dependent Apoptosis via the PERK/ eIF2a/ATF4/CHOP Signaling Pathway显示文摘Apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress plays a crucial role in mediating brain damage after ischemic stroke.Recently,Hes1(hairy and enhancer of split 1)has been implicated in the regulation of ER stress,but whether it plays a functional role after ischemic stroke and the underlying mechanism remain unclear.In this study,using a mouse model of ischemic stroke via transient middle cerebral artery occlusion(tMCAO),we found that Hes1 was induced following brain injury,and that siRNA-mediated knockdown of Hes1 increased the cerebral infarction and worsened the neurological outcome,suggesting that Hes1 knockdown exacerbates ischemic stroke.In addition,mechanistically,Hes1 knockdown promoted apoptosis and activated the PERK/eIF2a/ATF4/CHOP signaling pathway after tMCAO.These results suggest that Hes1 knockdown promotes ER stress-induced apoptosis.Furthermore,inhibition of PERK with the specific inhibitor GSK2606414 markedly attenuated the Hes1 knockdown-induced apoptosis and the increased cerebral infarction as well as the worsened neurological outcome following tMCAO,implying that the protection of Hes1 against ischemic stroke is associated with the amelioration of ER stress via modulating the PERK/eIF2a/ATF4/CHOP signaling pathway.Taken together,these results unveil the detrimental role of Hes1 knockdown after ischemic stroke and further relate it to the regulation of ER stress-induced apoptosis,thus highlighting the importance of targeting ER stress in the treatment of ischemic stroke. | Yueyong Li Yingjun Zhang Huangde Fu Huadong Huang Qifeng Lu Houji Qin Yingning Wu Huatuo Huang Guizhen Mao Zhongheng Wei Pinhu Liao | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,2: | 12 |
| 4 | On detection performance and system configuration of MIMO radar显示文摘Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar is a new concept with some new characteristics,such as multiple orthogonal waveforms and omnidirectional coverage. Based on Stein's lemma,we use relative entropy as a precise and general measure of error exponent to study detection performance for both MIMO radar and phased array radar. And based on derived analytical results,we further study the system configuration problem of Bistatic MIMO radar systems,where transmitters and receivers are located in different positions. Some interesting results are presented. For phased array radar,when the total numbers of transmitters and receivers are fixed,we should always make the number of transmitters equal to the number of receivers. For MIMO radar,we should use a small number of transmitters in low signal noise ratio (SNR) region,and make the number of transmitters equal to the number of receivers in high SNR region. | 5 | A new approach to dual-band polarimetric radar remote sensing image classification显示文摘It is very important to efficiently represent the target scattering characteristics in applications of polarimetric radar remote sensing. Three probability mass functions are introduced in this paper for target representation: using similarity parameters to describe target average scattering mechanism, using the eigenvalues of a target coherency matrix to describe target scattering randomness, and using radar received power to describe target scattering intensity. The concept of cross-entropy is employed to measure the difference between two scatterers based on the probability mass functions. Three parts of difference between scatterers are measured separately as the difference of average scattering mechanism, the difference of scattering randomness and the difference of scattering intensity, so that the usage of polarimetric data can be highly efficient and flexible. The supervised/unsupervised image classification schemes and their simplified versions are established based on the minimum cross-entropy principle. | 6 | Detection and Analysis of Routine Blood Indexes in Guike Pig显示文摘[Objectives] In this study,routine blood indexes of Guike pig were detected to clarify quantity variation and morphology distribution of different functional cells( red blood cells,white blood cells and platelets),thus providing reference data for immunological evaluation and disease resistance research of Guike pig. [Methods] Blood samples were collected from forty-four 49-day-old healthy Guike pigs( 22 males and 22 females) once a week for seven consecutive weeks to detect routine blood indexes,and the results were compared with routine blood indexes of Landrace pig and Enshi black pig. [Results]Among red blood cell indexes of Guike pig at different day ages,red blood cell count( RBC) and hemoglobin count( HGB) both reached the lowest levels( 6. 85 × 1012/L and 97. 1 g/L)at 70 days of age,which were significantly lower than the corresponding indexes at 49,56,63,84 and 91 days of age( P < 0. 05,similarly hereinafter); mean corpuscular hemoglobin( MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration( MCHC) demonstrated basically the same variation pattern,which both reached the lowest levels( 15. 11 pg and 275. 70 g/L) at 70 days of age and reached the highest levels( 16. 40 pg and 314. 30 g/L) at 91 days of age; hematocrit( HCT),mean corpuscular volume( MCV) and red blood cell distribution width( RDW) exhibited relatively stable changes with no significant differences among different day ages( P > 0. 05,similarly hereinafter). Among white blood cell indexes of Guike pig at different day ages,white blood cell count( WBC) reached the lowest level( 13. 71 × 109/L) at 63 days of age and reached the highest level( 17. 52 × 109/L) at 84 days of age,with significant differences; neutrophil count( NEUT)reached the lowest level( 3. 61 × 109/L) at 70 days of age,which was significantly lower than that at 49,56 and 77 days of age; lymphocyte count( LYMPH) exhibited relatively stable changes and was not significantly affected by the increase in day age. Among platelet indexes of Guike pig at different day ages,platelet count( PLT),thrombocytocrit( PCT) and platelet volume distribution width( PDW) exhibited relatively stable changes among different day ages,which were not significantly affected by the increase in day age. Compared to 35-day-old Landrace pig and 5-month-old Enshi black pig,most routine blood indexes of Guike pig were similar to or ranged between those of Landrace pig and Enshi black pig except HCT,mean platelet volume( MPV),PCT and PDW. | 8 | Effect of Yb^(3+) concentration on the structures and upconversion luminescence properties of Y_2O_3:Er^(3+) ultrafine phosphors显示文摘Y2O3:Er3+ ultrafine phosphors with a varying Yb3+ ion concentration were prepared by a urea homogeneous precipitation method. The results of XRD show that all the samples are of a pure cubic structure and the average crystallite sizes can be calculated as 45, 34, and 28 nm for Y2O3:Er3+ ultrafine phosphors with Yb3+ ion concentrations of 0, 10%, and 20%, respec- tively. The lattice constant and cell volume of the ultrafine phosphors decrease with enhancing Yb3+ ion concentration. The upconversion luminescence spectra of all the samples were studied under 980 nm laser excitation. The strong green and red upconversion emission were observed, and attributed to the 2H11/2 → 4I15/2, 4S3/2 → 4I15/2 and 4F9/2 → 4I15/2 transitions of Er3+, respectively. The intensity of red emission increases with increasing Yb3+ ion concentration. | 9 | MIMO-SAR waveforms separation based on virtual polarization filter显示文摘The unwanted coupling exists inevitably among multiple orthogonal waveforms in a same frequency area for multiple-input and multiple-output synthetic aperture radar(MIMO-SAR). In this paper, a new polarized MIMO-SAR model is established with two transmitting antennas and multiple receiving antennas at first. Then, a virtual polarization filter(VPF) is proposed to separate superposed returns caused by multiple transmitted waveforms based on detection on the polarized parameters via particle swarm optimizer(PSO).Compared with the conventional matched filter to separate the orthogonal waveforms, it is shown that the coupling noises can be significantly suppressed by the proposed VPF-based method and the orthogonality is not necessary among different transmitting waveforms. | 11 | Detection of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus in Guangxi Province from 2011 to 2014 and Sequence Analysis of Its M Gene显示文摘Detection of pigs epidemic diarrhea virus( PEDV) was conducted on 331 piglets diarrhea fecal samples collected in Nanning,Yulin and other 12 areas of Guangxi Province from January of 2011 to April of 2014 by the method of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction( RT-PCR). The results showed that the positive samples of PEDV were 210 and the positive rate was 63. 44%. The clone and sequencing of M gene was carried out on 25 positive samples. PEDV reference strains were selected from Gene Bank to conduct the sequence homology alignment analysis and the phylogenetic tree of M gene. The M gene homology and amino acid sequence identity between 25 isolated strains and 51 reference strains were 96. 0%- 99. 6% and 94. 3%- 99. 6%,respectively. The genetic variation analysis of M gene showed that the genetic relationship of PEDV prevalent strains in Guangxi Province from 2013 to 2014 was close to that of the prevalent strains in Beijing,Anhui,Wuhan,Hebei and Guangdong from 2010 to 2013,and which were far from that of the Chinese early isolates CH / S( Gen Bank number: JN547228),vaccine strain CV777( Gen Bank number: AF353511) and Attenuated DR13( Gen Bank number: JQ023162). | 13 | High Performance Viterbi Decoder on Cell/B.E.显示文摘Viterbi decoding is widely used in many radio systems. Because of the large computation complexity, it is usually implemented with ASIC chips, FPGA chips, or optimized hardware accelerators. With the rapid development of the multicore technology, multicore platforms become a reasonable choice for software radio (SR) systems. The Cell Broadband Engine processor is a state-of-art multi-core processor designed by Sony, Toshiba, and IBM. In this paper, we present a 64-state soft input Viterbi decoder for WiMAX SR Baseband system based on the Cell processor. With one Synergistic Processor Element (SPE) of a Cell Processor running at 3.2GHz, our Viterbi decoder can achieve the throughput up to 30Mb/s to decode the tail-biting convolutional code. The performance demonstrates that the proposed Viterbi decoding implementation is very efficient. Moreover, the Viterbi decoder can be easily integrated to the SR system and can provide a highly integrated SR solution. In this paper, we propose a spatial fluctuation target model for MIMO radar, where targets are classified as non-fluctuating target, Rayleigh target and Rician target. Based on Stein’s lemma, we use relative entropy to study detection performance of optimum detector for Rician target. It is found that in low signal noise ratio (SNR) region, the performance improvement of MIMO radar for detecting Rician target depends on array gain, which is related to the number of receivers. In high SNR region, the improvement of performance depends on diversity gain, which is related to the product of the number of receivers and the number of transmitters. | 15 | KLF7 promotes preadipocyte proliferation via activation of the Akt signaling pathway by Cis-regulating CDKN3显示文摘Krüppel-like transcription factor 7(KLF7)promotes preadipocyte proliferation;however,its target gene in this process has not yet been identified.Using KLF7 ChIP-seq analysis,we previously showed that a KLF7-binding peak is present upstream of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 3 gene(CDKN3)in chicken preadipocytes.In the present study,we identify CDKN3 as a target gene of KLF7 that mediates the effects of KLF7 on preadipocyte proliferation.Furthermore,5′-truncating mutation analysis shows that the minimal promoter is located between nt–160 and nt–7(relative to the translation initiation codon ATG)of CDKN3.KLF7 overexpression increases CDKN3 promoter activity in the DF-1 and immortalized chicken preadipocyte(ICP1)cell lines.Deletion of the putative binding site of KLF7 abolishes the promotive effect of KLF7 overexpression on CDKN3 promoter activity.Moreover,CDKN3 knockdown and overexpression assays reveal that CDKN3 enhances ICP1 cell proliferation.Flow cytometry analysis shows that CDKN3 accelerates the G1/S transition.Furthermore,we find that KLF7 promotes ICP1 cell proliferation via Akt phosphorylation by regulating CDKN3.Taken together,our results suggest that KLF7 promotes preadipocyte proliferation by activating the Akt signaling pathway by cis-regulating CDKN3,thus driving the G1/S transition. | Ziqiu Jia Zhao Jin Shuli Shao Hu Xu Wen Li Mahmood Khan Weiyu Wang Weiwei Zhang Yingning Sun | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,10: | 2 |
