| 1 | Rates of litter decomposition in terrestrial ecosystems:global patterns and controlling factors显示文摘Aims We aim to construct a comprehensive global database of litter decomposition rate(k value)estimated by surface floor litterbags,and investigate the direct and indirect effects of impact factors such as geographic factors(latitude and altitude),climatic factors(mean annual tempePlrature,MAT;mean annual precipitation,MAP)and litter quality factors(the contents of N,P,K,Ca,Mg and C:N ratio,lignin:N ratio)on litter decomposition.Methods We compiled a large data set of litter decomposition rates(k values)from 110 research sites and conducted simple,multiple regression and path analyses to explore the relationship between the k values and impact factors at the global scale.Important findings The k values tended to decrease with latitude(LAT)and lignin content(LIGN)of litter but increased with temperature,precipitation and nutrient concentrations at the large spatial scale.Single factor such as climate,litter quality and geographic variable could not explain litter decomposition rates well.However,the combination of total nutrient(TN)elements and C:N accounted for 70.2%of the variation in the litter decomposition rates.The combination of LAT,MAT,C:N and TN accounted for 87.54%of the variation in the litter decomposition rates.These results indicate that litter quality is the most important direct regulator of litter decomposition at the global scale.This data synthesis revealed significant relationships between litter decomposition rates and the combination of climatic factor(MAT)and litter quality(C:N,TN).The global-scale empirical relationships developed here are useful for a better understanding and modeling of the effects of litter quality and climatic factors on litter decomposition rates. | Deqiang Zhang Dafeng Hui Yiqi Luo Guoyi Zhou | 2008 | Journal of Plant Ecology2008,1,2: | 99 |
| 2 | An update on primary ovarian insufficiency显示文摘Primary ovarian insufficiency(POI) occurs in about 1% of female population under the age of 40,leading to reproductive problems,an earlier encounter with menopausal symptoms,and complicated diseases.There are three presumable mechanisms involved in the development of POI,namely apoptosis acceleration,follicular maturation blocking and premature follicle activation,through the following studied causes:(i) chromosomal abnormalities or gene mutations:mostly involve X chromosome,such as FMR1 premutation;more and more potentially causal genes have been screened recently;(ii) metabolic disorders such as classic galactosaemia and 17-OH deficiency;(iii) autoimmune mediated ovarian damage:observed alone or with some certain autoimmune disorders and syndromes;but the specificity and sensitivity of antibodies towards ovary are still questionable;(iv) iatrogenic:radiotherapy or chemotherapy used in cancer treatment,as well as pelvic surgery with potential threat to ovaries' blood supply can directly damage ovarian function;(v) virus infection such as HIV and mumps;(vi) toxins and other environmental/lifestyle factors:cigarette smoking,toxins(e.g.,4-vinylcyclohexene diepoxide),and other environmental factors are associated with the development of POI.The etiology of a majority of POI cases is not identified,and is believed to be multifactorial.Strategies to POI include hormone replacement and infertility treatment.Assisted conception with donated oocytes has been proven to achieve pregnancy in POI women.Embryo cryopreservation,ovarian tissue cryopreservation and oocyte cryopreservation have been used to preserve ovarian reserve in women undergoing cancer treatments. | JIN Min YU YiQi HUANG HeFeng | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,8: | 22 |

| 4 | Targeting ferroptosis suppresses osteocyte glucolipotoxicity and alleviates diabetic osteoporosis显示文摘Diabetic osteoporosis(DOP) is the leading complication continuously threatening the bone health of patients with diabetes. A key pathogenic factor in DOP is loss of osteocyte viability. However, the mechanism of osteocyte death remains unclear. Here, we identified ferroptosis, which is iron-dependent programmed cell death, as a critical mechanism of osteocyte death in murine models of DOP. The diabetic microenvironment significantly enhanced osteocyte ferroptosis in vitro, as shown by the substantial lipid peroxidation, iron overload, and aberrant activation of the ferroptosis pathway. RNA sequencing showed that heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) expression was notably upregulated in ferroptotic osteocytes. Further findings revealed that HO-1 was essential for osteocyte ferroptosis in DOP and that its promoter activity was controlled by the interaction between the upstream NRF2 and c-JUN transcription factors. Targeting ferroptosis or HO-1 efficiently rescued osteocyte death in DOP by disrupting the vicious cycle between lipid peroxidation and HO-1 activation, eventually ameliorating trabecular deterioration. | 5 | 中国森林生态系统碳周转时间的空间格局显示文摘森林生态系统持续的碳吸收能力在很大程度上取决于净初级生产力(NPP)的增长趋势及生态系统碳周转的时间,因此,获取生态系统碳周转时间的空间分布格局是有效评估生态系统碳汇潜力的基础.本研究采用数据-模型融合方法,基于区域生态系统碳循环过程模型(TECO-R),结合生态系统观测数据(NPP、生物量及土壤有机碳)、遥感数据(NDVI)及气象、植被与土壤等辅助空间数据,利用遗传算法(Genetic Algorithm)反演了中国森林生态系统各碳库的周转时间及分配系数,并在此基础上估算了平衡状态下森林生态系统碳周转时间的空间分布格局.研究结果表明:数据-模型融合技术能有效地反演中国森林生态系统碳循环过程模型中的关键参数,从而很好地模拟中国森林生态系统的碳循环过程;反演的中国森林生态系统的碳周转时间在空间上存在很大的异质性,其值大多介于24~70年之间;不同森林类型的统计结果表明,落叶针叶林与常绿针叶林的平均周转时间最大(分别为73.8与71.3年),其次是混交林与落叶阔叶林(38.1与37.3年),而常绿阔叶林的值最小(31.7年);从全国尺度看,中国各种森林生态系统总的碳周转时间的均值为57.8年. | 周涛 史培军 贾根锁 李秀娟 Yiqi LUO | 2010 | 中国科学:地球科学2010,40,5: | 15 |

Three-dimensional computational fluid dynam-ics (CFD) has been used to investigate the relations of porosities,flow velocity and diameter of the holes with the pressure loss. Accordingly,some preliminary results have been obtained that pressure loss increases with porosity descent as nearly a hyperbolic trend,rising flow velocity of the input makes the pressure loss increasing with parabola trend,diameter of holes affects little about pressure loss of the muffler. Otherwise,the holes on the perforated pipes make the air flow gently and meanly,which decreases the air impact to the wall and pipes in the muffler. | 7 | 基于模型数据融合的长白山阔叶红松林碳循环模拟显示文摘充分、有效地利用各种陆地生态系统碳观测数据改善陆地生态系统模型,是当前我国陆地生态系统碳循环研究领域亟待解决的重要问题之一。该研究以2003~2005年长白山阔叶红松林的6组生物计量观测数据和涡度相关技术测定的碳通量数据为基础,利用马尔可夫链-蒙特卡罗方法对陆地生态系统模型的关键参数(即碳滞留时间)进行了反演,进而预测了长白山阔叶红松林生态系统碳库、碳通量及其不确定性。反演结果表明,长白山阔叶红松林叶凋落物和微生物碳的平均滞留时间最短,为2~6个月;其次是叶和细根生物量碳,二者的平均滞留时间为1~2a;慢性土壤有机碳的平均滞留时间为8~16a;碳在木质生物量和惰性土壤有机质库中的滞留时间最长,平均滞留时间分别为77~109a和409~1879a。模拟结果显示,碳库和累积碳通量模拟值的不确定性将随着模拟时间的延长而增大。当气温升高10%和20%时,长白山阔叶红松林总初级生产力年总量将分别增加6.5%和9.9%,净生态系统生产力(NEP)年总量的变化取决于土壤温度的变化。若土壤温度保持不变,NEP年总量将分别增加11.4%~21.9%和17.6%~33.1%;若土壤温度也相应升高10%和20%,NEP年总量的增幅反而下降甚至低于原来的水平。假设气候和植被保持在2003~2005年的状态,2020年长白山阔叶红松林NEP年总量为(163±12)gC.m–2.a–1,土壤呼吸年总量为(721±14)gC.m–2.a–1。马尔可夫链-蒙特卡罗方法是反演模型参数、优化模拟结果和评估模拟结果不确定性的有效方法,但今后仍需在惰性土壤碳滞留时间的估计、驱动数据和模型结构的不确定性分析、模型数据融合方法方面进行深入研究,以进一步提高碳循环模拟的准确性。 | 张黎 于贵瑞 LUO Yiqi 何洪林 张雷明 | 2009 | 植物生态学报2009,33,6: | 13 |

| 10 | Symmetric cryptographic protocols for extended millionaires’ problem显示文摘Yao’s millionaires’ problem is a fundamental problem in secure multiparty computation, and its solutions have become building blocks of many secure multiparty computation solutions. Unfortunately, most protocols for millionaires’ problem are constructed based on public cryptography, and thus are inefficient. Furthermore, all protocols are designed to solve the basic millionaires’ problem, that is, to privately determine which of two natural numbers is greater. If the numbers are real, existing solutions do not directly work. These features limit the extensive application of the existing protocols. This study introduces and refines the first symmetric cryptographic protocol for the basic millionaires’ problem, and then extends the symmetric cryptographic protocol to privately determining which of two real numbers is greater, which are called the extended millionaires’ problem, and proposes corresponding protocols. We further prove, by a well accepted simulation paradigm, that these protocols are private. | 11 | Occurrence and removal of organic micropollutants in the treatment of landfill leachate by combined anaerobic-membrane bioreactor technology显示文摘Organic micropollutants,with high toxicity and environmental concern,are present in the landfill leachate at much lower levels than total organic constituents (chemical oxygen demand (COD),biochemical oxygen demand (BOD),or total organic carbon (TOC)),and few has been known for their behaviors in different treatment processes.In this study,occurrence and removal of 17 organochlorine pesticides (OCPs),16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs),and technical 4-nonylphenol (4-NP) in landfill leachate in a combined anaerobic-membrane bioreactor (MBR) were investigated.Chemical analyses were performed in leachates sampled from different treatment processes,using solid-phase extraction and gas chromatography with electron capture detector and mass spectrometry.Concentrations of OCPs,PAHs,and 4-NP in the raw leachate were detected within the range from ND (not detected) to 595.2 ng/L,which were as low as only 10-7-10-5 percentage of TOC (at the concentration of 2,962 mg/L).The removal of 4-NP was mainly established in the MBR process,in agreement with removals of COD,BOD,and TOC.However,the removals of OCPs and PAHs were different,mainly achieved in the anaerobic process.High removal effciencies of both total organic constituents and organic micropollutants could be achieved by the combined anaerobic-MBR technology.The removal effciencies of total organic constituents were in the order of BOD (99%) > COD (89%) > TOC (87%),whereas the removal effciencies of investigated organic micropollutants were as follows: OCPs (94%) > 4-NP (77%) > PAHs (59%). | Yiping XU Zijian WANG | 2008 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,11: | 7 |

| 20 | Probability method for cryptanalysis of general multivariate modular linear equation显示文摘Finding the solution to a general multivariate modular linear equation plays an important role in cryptanalysis field. Earlier results show that obtaining a relatively short solution is possible in polynomial time. However, one problem arises here that if the equation has a short solution in given bounded range, the results outputted by earlier algorithms are often not the ones we are interested in. In this paper, we present a probability method based on lattice basis reduction to solve the problem. For a general multivariate modular linear equation with short solution in the given bounded range, the new method outputs this short solution in polynomial time, with a high probability. When the number of unknowns is not too large (smaller than 68), the probability is approximating 1.
