| 2 | Formation flight of fixed-wing UAV swarms:A group-based hierarchical approach显示文摘This paper investigates a formation control problem of fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) swarms. A group-based hierarchical architecture is established among the UAVs, which decomposes all the UAVs into several distinct and non-overlapping groups. In each group, the UAVs form hierarchies with one UAV selected as the group leader. All group leaders execute coordinated path following to cooperatively handle the mission process among different groups, and the remaining followers track their direct leaders to achieve the inner-group coordination. More specifically, for a group leader, a virtual target moving along its desired path is assigned for the UAV, and an updating law is proposed to coordinate all the group leaders’ virtual targets;for a follower UAV, the distributed leader-following formation control law is proposed to make the follower’s heading angle coincide with its direct leader, while keeping the desired relative position with respect to its direct leader. The proposed control law guarantees the globally asymptotic stability of the whole closed-loop swarm system under the control input constraints of fixed-wing UAVs. | 3 | Isolation of marine benzo[a]pyrene-degrading Ochrobactrum sp. BAP5 and proteins characterization显示文摘A bacterial strain BAP5 with a relatively high degradation ability of benzo[a]pyrene (BaP) was isolated from marine sediments of Xiamen Western Sea, China and identified as Ochrobactrum sp. according to 16S rRNA gene sequence as well as Biolog microbial identification system. Strain BAP5 could grow in mineral salt medium with 50 mg/L of BaP and degrade about 20% BaP after 30 d of incubation. Ochrobactrum sp. BAP5 was able to utilize other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) (such as phenanthrene, pyrene and fluoranthene) as the sole carbon source and energy source, suggesting its potential application in PAHs bioremediation. The profile of total soluble protein from Ochrobactrum sp. BAP5 was also investigated. | 6 | A Multi-Layered Gravitational Search Algorithm for Function Optimization and Real-World Problems显示文摘A gravitational search algorithm(GSA)uses gravitational force among individuals to evolve population.Though GSA is an effective population-based algorithm,it exhibits low search performance and premature convergence.To ameliorate these issues,this work proposes a multi-layered GSA called MLGSA.Inspired by the two-layered structure of GSA,four layers consisting of population,iteration-best,personal-best and global-best layers are constructed.Hierarchical interactions among four layers are dynamically implemented in different search stages to greatly improve both exploration and exploitation abilities of population.Performance comparison between MLGSA and nine existing GSA variants on twenty-nine CEC2017 test functions with low,medium and high dimensions demonstrates that MLGSA is the most competitive one.It is also compared with four particle swarm optimization variants to verify its excellent performance.Moreover,the analysis of hierarchical interactions is discussed to illustrate the influence of a complete hierarchy on its performance.The relationship between its population diversity and fitness diversity is analyzed to clarify its search performance.Its computational complexity is given to show its efficiency.Finally,it is applied to twenty-two CEC2011 real-world optimization problems to show its practicality. | Yirui Wang Shangce Gao Mengchu Zhou Yang Yu | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,1: | 5 |
| 7 | Global Optimum-Based Search Differential Evolution显示文摘In this paper, a global optimum-based search strategy is proposed to alleviate the situation that the differential evolution(DE) usually sticks into a stagnation, especially on complex problems. It aims to reconstruct the balance between exploration and exploitation, and improve the search efficiency and solution quality of DE. The proposed method is activated by recording the number of recently consecutive unsuccessful global optimum updates. It takes the feedback from the global optimum,which makes the search strategy not only refine the current solution quality, but also have a change to find other promising space with better individuals. This search strategy is incorporated with various DE mutation strategies and DE variations. | 8 | Dynamic interaction of twin vertically overlapping lined tunnels in an elastic half space subjected to incident plane waves显示文摘The scattering of plane harmonic P and SV waves by a pair of vertically overlapping lined tunnels buried in an elastic half space is solved using a semi-analytic indirect boundary integration equation method. Then the effect of the distance between the two tunnels, the stiffness and density of the lining material, and the incident frequency on the seismic response of the tunnels is investigated. Numerical results demonstrate that the dynamic interaction between the twin tunnels cannot be ignored and the lower tunnel has a significant shielding effect on the upper tunnel for high-frequency incident waves, resulting in great decrease of the dynamic hoop stress in the upper tunnel; for the low-frequency incident waves, in contrast,the lower tunnel can lead to amplification effect on the upper tunnel. It also reveals that the frequency-spectrum characteristics of dynamic stress of the lower tunnel are significantly different from those of the upper tunnel. | 9 | Radiotherapy combined with nimotuzumab for elderly esophageal cancer patients:A phaseⅡclinical trial显示文摘Objective:To investigate the safety and efficacy of nimotuzumab combined with radiotherapy for elderly patients with non-resectable esophageal carcinoma(EC).Methods:Eligible patients were aged 70 years or older and had treatment-naive,histologically proven inoperable locally advanced EC.Enrolled patients received radiotherapy with a total dose of 50-60 Gy in 25-30 fractions,concurrent with weekly infusion of nimotuzumab.The primary end point was the rate of more than grade 3 toxicities.Results:From June 2011 to July 2016,46 patients with stageⅡ-IV EC with a median age of 76.5 years were enrolled.There were 10,28 and 8 patients with stageⅡ,III and IV disease,respectively.The common acute toxicities included esophagitis(grade 1-2,75.4%;grade 3,8.7%),pneumonitis(grade 1,4.3%;grade 2,6.5%;grade3,2.2%),leukopenia(grade 1-2,60.9%;grade 3-4,4.4%),gastrointestinal reaction(grade 1-2,17.3%;grade 3,2.2%),thrombocytopenia(grade 1-2,21.7%;grade 3,2.2%),and radiothermitis(grade 1-2,39.2%).The incidence of grade 3-4 adverse effects was 17.4%.No grade 5 toxicities were observed.Clinical complete response,partial response,stable disease,and progressive disease were observed in 1(2.2%),31(67.4%),12(26.1%),and 2(4.3%)patients,respectively.The median overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)were 17 and 10 months,respectively.The 2-,3-,and 5-year OS and PFS rates were 30.4%,21.7%,19.6%,and 26.1%,19.6%,19.6%,respectively.Conclusions:Nimotuzumab combined with radiotherapy is a safe and effective therapy for elderly patients who are not surgical candidates.Further studies are warranted to confirm its therapeutic effects in elderly EC patients. | Xu Yang Yirui Zhai Nan Bi Tao Zhang Lei Deng Wenqing Wang Xin Wang Dongfu Chen Zongmei Zhou Luhua Wang Jun Liang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,1: | 4 |
| 10 | Reinforced polysulfide barrier by g-C_(3)N_(4)/CNT composite towards superior lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The notorious shuttle effect has long been obstructing lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries from yielding the expected high energy density and long lifespan.Herein,we develop a multifunctional polysulfide barrier reinforced by the graphitic carbon nitride/carbon nanotube(g-C_3 N_4/CNT) composite toward inhibited shuttling behavior and improved battery performance.The obtained g-C_3 N_4 delivers a unique spongelike architecture with massive ion transfer pathways and fully exposed active interfaces,while the abundant C-N heteroatomic structures impose strong chemical immobilization toward lithium polysulfides.Combined with the highly conductive agent,the g-C_3 N_4/CNT reinforced separator is endowed with great capability of confining and reutilizing the active sulfur within the cathode,thus contributing to an efficient and stable sulfur electrochemistry.Benefiting from these synergistic attributes,Li-S cells based on g-C_3 N_4/CNT separator exhibit an excellent cyclability with a minimum decay rate of 0.03% per cycle over 500 cycles and decent rate capability up to 2 C.Moreover,a high areal capacity of 7.69 mAh cm^(-2)can be achieved under a raised sulfur loading up to 10.1 mg cm^(-2).demonstrating a facile and efficient pathway toward superior Li-S batteries. | Xiangliang Wang Gaoran Li Minjie Li Ruiping Liu Haibo Li Tengyu Li Mingzhu Sun Yirui Deng Ming Feng Zhongwei Chen | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,2: | 4 |

| 13 | Attenuation of MET-mediated migration and invasion in hepatocellular carcinoma cells by SOCS1显示文摘AIM To investigate the role of suppressor of cytokine signaling 1(SOCS1)in regulating MET-mediated invasive potential of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells.METHODSStable derivatives of mouse(Hepa1-6)and human(hep3B,Hep G2)HCC cell lines expressing SOCS1or control vector were evaluated for their ability to migrate towards hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)in the transwell migration assay,invade extracellular matrix in response to HGF stimulation in a 3-D invasion assay by confocal microscopy,and to undergo anchorageindependent proliferation in semisolid agar.Following intravenous and intrasplenic inoculation into NOD.scid.gamma mice,the ability of Hepa cells to form othotopic tumors was evaluated.Following HGF stimulation of Hepa and Hep3B cells,expression of proteins implicated in epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition was evaluated by western blot and qR T-PCR.RESULTS SOCS1 expression in mouse and human HCC cells inhibited HGF-induced migration through matrigel.In the 3-D invasion assay,HGF stimulation induced invasion of HCC cells across type-Ⅰcollagen matrix,and SOCS1expression significantly reduced the depth of invasion.SOCS1 expression also reduced the number and size of colonies formed by anchorage-independent growth in semisolid agar.Following intravenous inoculation,control Hepa cell formed large tumor nodules that obliterated the liver whereas the SOCS1-expressing Hepa cells formed significantly smaller nodules.Tumors formed by SOCS1-expressing cells showed reduced phosphorylation of STAT3 and ERK that was accompanied by reduced levels of MET protein expression.HGF stimulated Hepa cells expressing SOCS1 showed increased expression of E-cadherin and decreased expression of EGR1,SNAI1and ZEB1.Comparable results were obtained with Hep3B cells.SOCS1 expressing HCC cells also showed reduced levels of EGR1 and SNAI1 transcripts.CONCLUSION Our findings indicate that loss of SOCS1-dependent control over epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition may contribute to MET-mediated migration,invasion and metastatic growth of HCC. | Yirui Gui Md Gulam Musawwir Khan Diwakar Bobbala Claire Dubois Sheela Ramanathan Caroline Saucier Subburaj Ilangumaran | 2017 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,36: | 3 |

| 17 | Yizhining elixation improves sustained attention deficit and impulsiveness of spontaneous hypertensive rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: The core symptoms of attention deficit, impulsiveness, hyperactivity of attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) can concurrently present in spontaneous hypertensive rats. Neuropathological, biochemical and pharmacological studies also support it. Spontaneous hypertensive rats are one kind of best ADHD animal models, which has been accepted at present. Yizhining elixation can reinforce kidney and calm liver, strengthen spleen and nourish heart, benefit intelligence and focus attention, but its therapeutic effect on treatment of ADHD needs to be further investigated. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Yizhining elixation on the persistent active attention deficit and impulsiveness of rats with spontaneous hypertension. DESIGN: Observational and controlled analysis. SETTING: Department of Pediatrics, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS: Thirty-six male rats with spontaneous hypertension, of clean grade, were involved in this experiment. The involved rats were provided by Shanghai SLAC Laboratory Animal Co., Ltd., and they did not undergo any experiments; Yizhining elixation was composed by Guiban, Shenglonggu, Yuanzhi, Shichangpu, Yejiaoteng, Shudi, Dangshen, Yunling, Fuxiaomai, Wueizi, etc. Crude drug, provided by Outpatient Dispensary, Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, was prepared into water elixation, which contained crude drug of 1.154 g/mL. METHODS: This experiment was carried out in the Department of Pediatrics, First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine between March and July 2005. The involved rats were randomized into 3 groups: Yizhining high dose group, Yizhining low dose group and blank control group, with 12 rats in each. Changes in sustained attention and impulsiveness of rats were detected before and after administration of Yizhining elixation by '5-choice serial response time task' method. Following above-mentioned training and detection, rats in each group were daily drenched with Yizhining elixation once for 14 days successively. Rats in the Yizhining high-dose and low-dose groups were drenched with 12.6 mL/kg and 6.3 mL/kg Yizhining elixation (diluted to 25 mL/kg) respectively, and those in the blank control group were drenched with 12.5 mL/kg normal saline. On the 14th day after administration, the ratios of correct and immature response of rats were re-detected for 3 days successively by formal detection method for later analysis. The sustained attention of rats was evaluated with ratio of correct response: Ratio of correct response=[times of correct response/(times of correct response + times of incorrect response)]; impulsiveness was evaluated with the ratio of immature response: ratio of immature response=[times of immature response/ (times of correct response+times of incorrect response+times of omission+times of immature response)]. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The effects of different doses of Yizhining elixation on the sustained attention (ratio of correct response) and impulsiveness (ratio of immature response) of spontaneous hypertensive rats. RESULTS: Thirty-six spontaneous hypertensive rats were involved in the final analysis. The ratio of correct response of rats in the Yizhining high dose and low dose groups after administration was (98.9±2.30)% and (96.6±4.00)%, respectively, which was significantly higher than that before administration [(80.4±11.5)%, (83.9±8.90)%,P < 0.01] and that in the blank control group[(83.3±6.30)%,P < 0.01]. The ratio of immature response of rats in the Yizhining high dose and low dose groups after administration was (5.04±1.04)%, (7.23±1.22)%, respectively, which was lower than that before administration [(9.85±2.50)%,(9.40±1.73)%,P < 0.05] and that in the blank control group [(9.42±1.64)%,P < 0.01]. | 18 | Biochar-Induced Priming Effects in Young and Old Poplar Plantation Soils显示文摘The priming effect(PE)induced by biochar provides a basis for evaluating its carbon(C)sequestration potential in soils.A 60 days’laboratory incubation was conducted,which involved the amendment of biochar(1%of soil mass)produced from rice straw at 300℃(B300)and 500℃(B500)to young(Y)and old(O)poplar plantation soils,with the aim of studying the responses of biochar-induced PEs to poplar plantation ages.This incubation included six treatments:Y+CK(control),Y+B300,Y+B500,O+CK,O+B300,and O+B500.Carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions were significantly increased(p<0.05)in the B300 amended soils,while it was decreased in the B500 amended soils compared to the CK.The primed CO_(2) emissions were 2.35 times higher in the Y+B300 than the O+B300 treatments,which was measured to be 18.6 and 5.56 mg C·kg^(-1) with relative PEs of 12.4%and 3.35%,respectively.However,there was little difference between the primed CO_(2) emissions in Y+B500 and O+B500 treatments,which were measured to be-24.9 and-29.6 mg·C·kg^(-1) with relative PEs of-16.6%and-17.8%,respectively.Dissolved organic carbon(DOC)was significantly lower in the young poplar plantation soil than that in the old poplar plantation soil regardless of biochar amendment throughout the incubation,indicating greater C-limit of soil microorganisms in the young poplar plantation soil.Using ^(13)C isotope tracing,neither B300 nor B500 decreased native soil-derived DOC,which indicated that the negative B500-induced PEs were not due to a reduction in the availability of native soil-derived C.In conclusion,the response of biochar-induced PEs to poplar plantation age depends on biochar types while soil available C indirectly affects biochar-induced PEs.Further studies should focus on how the interactive effects between soil C availability and microbial community impacts biochar-induced PEs. | Weiwei Lu Yirui Zhang Yixian Yao Yuying Wu Han Y.H.Chen Hailin Zhang Jia Yu Caiqin Shen Qi Liu Honghua Ruan | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,1: | 2 |
