1In vitro comparison of the hemocompatibility of diamond-like carbon and carbon nitride coatings with different atomic percentages of N显示文摘Carbon nitride (CNx) and diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering at room temperature. Different partial pressures of N2 were used to synthesize CNx to evaluate the relationship between the atomic percentage of nitrogen and hemocompatibility. Auger electron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy indicated atomic percentages of N of 0.12 and 0.22 and that the CNx coatings were smooth. An in vitro study of the hemocompatibility of the coatings revealed that both CNx coatings had better anticoagulant properties and lower platelet adhesion than DLC. Compared with CN0.12, the CN0.22 coating showed longer dynamic clotting time (about 42 min), static clotting time (23.6 min) and recalcification time (45.6 s), as well as lower platelet adhesion (102 cells μm 2), aggregation, and activation. 2Solar wind electrons reflected by lunar electric and magnetic fields显示文摘In this paper,we report on our study of the trajectories of solar wind electrons reflected by lunar electric and magnetic fields through analysis of reflectivity and distribution under different conditions.Our calculations and simulations showed that the variations of both the magnetic field and surface potential play important roles in changing the directions of the traces of electrons.Furthermore,we were able to distinguish the changes resulting from these two variations through further analysis of the results.Thus,both the magnitude of the crustal field and the surface potential can be acquired from the data of satellites such as the Lunar Prospector.These findings could also contribute to the design and development of new devices in future lunar programs.FENG YongYong ZHANG YiTeng ZHAO Hua LIU ZhenXing 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,11:2

4Effect of bacteriocin-producing Pediococcus acidilactici strains on the immune system and intestinal flora of normal mice显示文摘This study was performed to determine the effects of bacteriocin-producing and non-bacteriocin-producing Pediococcus acidilactici strains on the immune system and intestinal flora of normal mice.Two P.acidilactici strains with antibacterial activity(P.acidilactici CCFM28 and CCFM18)were obtained based on the inhibition-zone assay.The produced components were identified as bacteriocins through protease treatment,pH adjustment and hydrogen peroxide treatment.Bacteriocin-producing and non-bacteriocin-producing P.acidilactici strains(P.acidilactici CCFM28,CCFM18 and NT17-3)caused significant changes in serum immune factors and intestinal flora of normal mice.After 14 days of intervention,the relative abundance of Firmicutes was significantly decreased,but that of Proteobacteria was significantly increased at the phylum level.At the genus level,the administration of three P.acidilactici strains resulted in the downregulation of Blautia and the upregulation of Ruminococcus and Lactobacillus.Furthermore,there were also different regulations on some probiotic strains,such as Bifidobacterium,Coprococcus and Akkermansia,which were closely related to the antibacterial ability of the bacteriocin and the type of strain.The results indicated that the intervention of different P.acidilactici strains could differently change the structure of intestinal flora in normal mice,which provided theoretical guidance for the selective use of bacteriocin-producing strains for health regulation in the future.Yiteng Qiao Zhichang Qiu Fengwei Tian Leilei Yu Jianxin Zhao Hao Zhang Qixiao Zhai Wei Chen 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,2:0

7CuInS_(2)/TiO_(2) heterojunction with elevated photo-electrochemical performance for cathodic protection显示文摘Semiconductor quantum dots with high quantum yield and photovoltaic conversion efficiency have ushered in a brilliant moment for constructing internal electric field heterojunctions for photogenerated cathodic protection applications.In this paper,TiO_(2)nanotubes grown vertically on the surface of titanium substrates were modified via a combination of conventional electrochemical oxidation and a one-step solvothermal pathway to sensitize with CuInS_(2)quantum dots.Compared with pure TiO_(2)photoelectrodes,the modification improves sunlight absorption efficiency and provides photoelectron cathodic protection to the 304 stainless steel(304 SS).Through 9 h solvothermal reaction,the CuInS_(2)/TiO_(2)coupled with protected 304 SS exhibited an excellent property when the simulated sunlight irradiation.Its mixed open circuit potential is negatively shifted to-0.99 V,at the mean time with a stable photocurrent density(118μA cm^(-2)).The results indicate that CuInS_(2)and TiO_(2)established a p-n heterojunction with wellmatched energy level,which can effectively facilitate the carrier separation and retain the strong redox capbility of photo-induced electrons and holes.Juan Liu Ning Wang Fuwei Zheng Chuanxing Wang Jing Wang Baorong Hou Qianyu Zhao Yanli Ning Yiteng Hu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,27:0
