1Facile preparation of low swelling,high strength,self-healing and pH-responsive hydrogels based on the triple-network structure显示文摘A polyacrylic acid(PAA)/gelatin(Gela)/polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)hydrogel was prepared by copolymerization,cooling,and freezing/thawing methods.This triplenetwork(TN)structure hydrogel displayed superior mechanical properties,low swelling ratio and self-healing properties,The superior mechanical properties are attributed to the triple helix association of Gela and PVA crystallites by reversible hydrogen bonding.The characterization results indicated that the fracture stress and the strain were 808 kPa and 370% respectively,while the compression strength could reach 4443 kPa and the compressive modulus was up to 39 MPa under the deformation of 90%.The hydrogen bonding in PVA contributed to maintain and improve the self-healing ability of hydrogels.Every type of hydrogels exhibited a higher swelling ratio under alkaline conditions,and the swelling ratios of PAA,PAA/PVA and PAA/Gela hydrogels were 27.71,12.30 and 9.09,respectively.The PAA/Gela/PVA TN hydrogel showed the lowest swelling ratio(6.57)among these hydrogels.These results indicate that the novel TN hydrogels possess good environmental adaptability and have potential applications in the biomedical engineering and sensor field.Zhicun WANG Xiaoman HAN Yixi WANG Kenan MEN Lin CUI Jianning WU Guihua MENG Zhiyong LIU Xuhong GUO 2019Frontiers of Materials Science2019,13,1:4
2Enabling robust and hour-level organic long persistent luminescence from carbon dots by covalent fixation显示文摘The first carbon dot(CD)-based organic long persistent luminescence(OLPL)system exhibiting more than 1 h of duration was developed.In contrast to the established OLPL systems,herein,the reported CDs-based system(named m-CDs@CA)can be facilely and effectively fabricated using a household microwave oven,and more impressively,its LPL can be observed under ambient conditions and even in aqueous media.XRD and TEM characterizations,afterglow decay,time-resolved spectroscopy,and ESR analysis were performed,showing the successful composition of CDs and.CA,the formation of exciplexes and long-lived charged-separated states.Further studies suggest that the production of covalent bonds between CA and CDs plays pivotal roles in activating LPL and preventing its quenching from oxygen and water.To the best of our knowledge,this is a very rare example of an OLPL system that exhibits hourlevel afterglow under ambient conditions.Finally,applications of m-CDs@C.A in glow-in-the-dark paints for emergency signs and multicolored luminous pearls were preliminarily demonstrated.This work may provide new insights for the development of rare earth-free and robust OLPL materials.Kai Jiang Yuci Wang Cunjian Lin Licheng Zheng Jiaren Du Yixi Zhuang Rongjun Xie Zhongjun Li Hengwei Lin 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4:3
3Fabrication of a bio-instructive scaffold conferred with a favorable microenvironment allowing for superior implant osseointegration and accelerated in situ vascularized bone regeneration via type H vessel formation显示文摘The potential translation of bio-inert polymer scaffolds as bone substitutes is limited by the lack of neovascularization upon implantation and subsequently diminished ingrowth of host bone,most likely resulted from the inability to replicate appropriate endogenous crosstalk between cells.Human umbilical vein endothelial cell-derived decellularized extracellular matrix(HdECM),which contains a collection of angiocrine biomolecules,has recently been demonstrated to mediate endothelial cells(ECs)-osteoprogenitors(OPs)crosstalk.We employed the HdECM to create a PCL(polycaprolactone)/fibrin/HdECM(PFE)hybrid scaffold.We hypothesized PFE scaffold could reconstitute a bio-instructive microenvironment that reintroduces the crosstalk,resulting in vascularized bone regeneration.Following implantation in a rat femoral bone defect,the PFE scaffold demonstrated early vascular infiltration and enhanced bone regeneration by microangiography(μ-AG)and micro-computational tomography(μ-CT).Based on the immunofluorescence studies,PFE mediated the endogenous angiogenesis and osteogenesis with a substantial number of type H vessels and osteoprogenitors.In addition,superior osseointegration was observed by a direct host bone-PCL interface,which was likely attributed to the formation of type H vessels.The bio-instructive microenvironment created by our innovative PFE scaffold made possible superior osseointegration and type H vessel-related bone regeneration.It could become an alternative solution of improving the osseointegration of bone substitutes with the help of induced type H vessels,which could compensate for the inherent biological inertness of synthetic polymers.Yijun He Wenhao Wang Shaozhang Lin Yixi Yang Lizhi Song Yihan Jing Lihao Chen Zaopeng He Wei Li Ao Xiong Kelvin W.K.Yeung Qi Zhao Yuan Jiang Zijie Li Guoxian Pei Zhi-Yong Zhang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,3:1
4Analysis of Food Safety Supervision and Spot-Check in Sichuan Province in 2019显示文摘Through the analysis on 211614 batches of samples from 35 categories of food safety supervision and inspection in Sichuan Province by Administration for Market Regulation of Sichuan Province in 2019,four suggestions were finally put forward.The analysis results showed that in 2019,the overall trend of food safety in Sichuan Province was stable and improved.A total of 30 categories of unqualified samples were detected,and a total of 12135 batches of unqualified samples were detected,with an average sample unqualified rate of 5.73%.Among them,the main problems of unqualified samples were as follows:the use of food additives beyond the scope and limit,accounting for 40.17%of the total number of unqualified samples,microbial contamination in food,accounting for 23.61%of the total unqualified samples,the residue index of agricultural and veterinary drugs in food not meeting the standard,accounting for 15.61%of the total unqualified samples,the quality index in food not meeting the standard,accounting for 8.51%of the total number of unqualified samples,and heavy metals and other pollutants in food exceeding the standard,accounting for 7.10%of the total unqualified samples.Pengyu CHEN Wei WANG Xueli WU Lili JI Jiamin ZHANG Zhipin ZHAO Rui ZHANG Ting BAI Bo HOU Yixi YANG Lin CHEN 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,2:0
5Antioxidant-enriched autologous biogel promoted diabetic wound healing by remodeling inherent posttraumatic inflammatory patterning and restoring compromised microenvironment homeostasis显示文摘Successful wound healing depends on the reconstruction of proper tissue homeostasis,particularly in the posttraumatic inflammatory tissue microenvironment.Diabetes jeopardizes tissues’immune homeostasis in cutaneous wounds,causing persistent chronic inflammation and cytokine dysfunction.Previously,we developed an autologous regeneration factor(ARF)technology to extract the cytokine composite from autologous tissue to restore immune homeostasis and promote wound healing.However,treatment efficacy was significantly compromised in diabetic conditions.Therefore,we proposed that a combination of melatonin and ARF,which is beneficial for proper immune homeostasis reconstruction,could be an effective treatment for diabetic wounds.Our research showed that the utilization of melatonin-mediated ARF biogel(AM gel)promoted diabetic wound regeneration at a more rapid healing rate.RNA-Seq analysis showed that AM gel treatment could restore more favorable immune tissue homeostasis with unique inflammatory patterning as a result of the diminished intensity of acute and chronic inflammation.Currently,AM gel could be a novel and promising therapeutic strategy for diabetic wounds in clinical practice through favorable immune homeostatic reconstructions in the tissue microenvironment and proper posttraumatic inflammation patterning.Yixi Yang Le Wang Yonglin Zhou Yijun He Shaozhang Lin Yuwei Zeng Yunhe Zhou Wei Li Zaopeng He Qi Zhao Lihao Chen Zijie Li Wenhao Wang Zhi-Yong Zhang 2022Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1:0
6Texture Evolution Induced by Deformation in Aluminum Alloy显示文摘The lower formability of aluminum alloy sheets is the inherent characteristic of the material. During material forming processes the material undergoes a complex strain history. In this paper, the effect of crystallographic texture induced by deformation in aluminum sheet is studied. The transformation of crystallographic textures induced by uniaxial tensile, cup drawing and bulge tests was measured through X-ray diffraction and analyzed. The author studied the texture evolution rule under different strain paths. 7Machine learning molecular dynamics simulation identifying weakly negative effect of polyanion rotation on Li-ion migration显示文摘Understanding the physical picture of Li ion transport in the current ionic conductors is quite essential to further develop lithium superionic conductors for solid-state batteries.The traditional practice of directly extrapolating room temperature ion diffusion properties from the high-temperature(>600 K)ab initio molecular dynamics simulations(AIMD)simulations by the Arrhenius assumption unavoidably cause some deviations.Fortunately,the ultralong-time molecular dynamics simulation based on the machine-learning interatomic potentials(MLMD)is a more suitable tool to probe into ion diffusion events at low temperatures and simultaneously keeps the accuracy at the density functional theory level.Herein,by the low-temperature MLMD simulations,the non-linear Arrhenius behavior of Li ion was found for Li3ErCl6,which is the main reason for the traditional AIMD simulation overestimating its ionic conductivity.The 1μs MLMD simulations capture polyanion rotation events in Li_(7)P_(3)S_(11) at room temperature,in which four[PS_(4)]^(3−)tetrahedra belonging to a part of the longer-chain[P_(2)S_(7)]4−group are noticed with remarkable rotational motions,while the isolated group[PS_(4)]^(3−)does not rotate.However,no polyanion rotation is observed in Li10GeP_(2)S12,β-Li3PS_(4),Li3ErCl6,and Li3YBr6 at 300 K during 1μs simulation time.Additionally,the ultralong-time MLMD simulations demonstrate that not only there is no paddle-wheel effect in the crystalline Li_(7)P_(3)S_(11) at room temperature,but also the rotational[PS_(4)]^(3−)polyanion groups have weakly negative impacts on the overall Li ion diffusion.The ultralong-time MLMD simulations deepen our understanding of the relationship between the polyanion rotation and cation diffusion in ionic conductors at room environments.Zhenming Xu Huiyu Duan Zhi Dou Mingbo Zheng Yixi Lin Yinghui Xia Haitao Zhao Yongyao Xia 2023npj Computational Materials2023,,1:0
