1Coal and gas outburst mechanism of the “Three Soft” coal seam in western Henan显示文摘Based on the particularities of gas outbursts,i.e.,low gas bearing capacity and low gas pressure in the 'Three Soft' coal seam in western Henan,we applied the theories of plate tectonics and regional structural evolution to investigate the mechanism of this seam and its impact on the coal seam gas formation.Our investigation revealed that coal and gas outbursts are distributed in a strip in a NW direction,with a number of high-penetration mines scattered towards the south side and low-gas mines largely located on the north side.We analyzed the statistics of 38 gas explosions and the rock-coal sturdiness number coefficient f of 167 sampling sites in the region and found the gas outburst mechanism that features a 'low indicator outburst phenomenon'.The mechanism is characterized by structural coal as its core,a low gas bearing capacity,low gas pressure and sturdiness coefficient f mostly less than 0.3.Our research results provide a theoretical foundation for effective control of gas disasters.LEI DongJi LI Chengwu ZHANG Zimin ZHANG Yugui 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5:10
2Effect of an electrostatic field on gas adsorption and diffusion in tectonic coal显示文摘The characteristics of adsorption, desorption, and diffusion of gas in tectonic coal are important for the prediction of coal and gas outbursts. Three types of coal samples, of which both metamorphic grade and degree of damage is different, were selected from Tongchun, Qilin, and Pingdingshan mines. Using a series of experiments in an electrostatic field, we analyzed the characteristics of gas adsorption and diffusion in tectonic coal. We found that gas adsorption in coal conforms to the Langmuir equation in an electrostatic field. Both the depth of the adsorption potential well and the coal molecular electronegativity increases under the action of an electrostatic field. A Joule heating effect was caused by changing the coal–gas system conductivity in an electrostatic field. The quantity of gas adsorbed and DP result from competition between the depth of the adsorption potential well, the coal molecular electronegativity, and the Joule heating effect. DP peaks when the three factors control behavior equally. Compared with anthracite, the impact of the electrostatic field on the gas diffusion capacity of middle and high rank coals is greater. Compared with the original coal, the gas adsorption quantity, DP, and the gas diffusion capacity of tectonic coal are greater in an electrostatic field. 3Follicular hyperandrogenism and insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome patients with normal circulating testosterone levels显示文摘Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a common reproductive disease with high heterogeneity. The role of excess androgen in PCOS etiology remains disputed, since around 20%-50% of PCOS women do not display hyperandrogenemia. The microenvironment of the ovary critically influences follicular development. In the present study, we assessed the role of androgen in PCOS by investigating whether excessive follicular fluid androgen was present in PCOS patients with normal serum androgen levels and influenced by follicular fluid insulin resistance(IR).Follicular fluid samples of 105 women with PCOS and 105 controls were collected. Levels of steroid hormones,glucose and insulin in the follicular fluid were examined and compared with data from serum biochemistry tests. We found that 64.9%(63/97) of PCOS patients with normal serum androgen levels displayed abnormally high follicular fluid androgen level. The follicular fluid androgen level was positively correlated with follicular fluid IR within a certain range and follicular fluid estrogen-to-testosterone(E2/T) ratio was significantly reduced in these patients.These results indicated that there existed a subgroup of PCOS patients who displayed excessive follicular fluid androgen and IR despite their normal circulating testosterone(T) levels. 8Weakened interlayer coupling in two-dimensional MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations显示文摘The screw dislocations are intriguing defects that are often observed in natural and artificial materials. The dislocation spirals break the reflection and inversion symmetries of the lattices and modify the interlayer coupling in layer-structured materials, inducing additional complexity in layer stacking and thus novel properties in materials. Here, we report on the interlayer coupling of two-dimensional (2D) MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations by atomic force microscopy (AFM), Raman spectra and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. By controlling the supersaturation conditions, 2D MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations are grown on amorphous SiO2 substrates by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). AFM measurements reveal that the interlayer spacing in such 2D MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocation is slightly widened with respect to the normal AA- or AB-stacked ones due to the presence of the screw dislocations. Raman and PL spectra show that the interlayer coupling is weaker and thus the band gap is wider than that in the normal AA- or AB-stacked ones. 12The remedial effect of soluble interleukin-1 receptor type Ⅱ on endometriosis in the nude mouse model显示文摘Objective:Recent studies have shown that the local expression of soluble interleukin(IL)-1 receptor typeⅡ (sIL-1 RⅡ)in endometrial tissue of women with endometriosis is decreased,and the depression of IL-1 RⅡwas more significant in infertile women than that in fertile women with endometriosis.In this research,we investigated the remedial effect of sIL-1-RⅡadministration on endometriosis in the nude mouse model.Methods: Nineteen nude model mice with endometriosis were randomly divided into three groups:group A was treated by intraperitoneal administration with only sIL-1 RⅡfor two weeks,group B was similarly treated with only IL- 1,and group C(control)was administered saline.After 2 weeks,the size of the ectopic endometrial lesions was calculated,and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and B-cell lymphoma leukemia-2(Bcl- 2)were detected by immunohistochemistry.The IL-8 and VEGF levels in the peritoneal fluid(PF)and serum were also measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results:The mean size of ectopic endometrial lesion did not differ between the three groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control,the expression of VEGF and Bcl-2 was significantly lower in group A,and higher in group B.In the three groups,the levels of IL-8 in the PF and serum were highest in group A,and lowest in group B.Conclusion:sIL-1 RⅡmay suppresse hyperplasia of ectopic endometriosis,perhaps by reducing the expression of certain cytokines,such as VEGF,IL-8,and Bcl-2, which could provide a new clinical strategy for the treatment of endometriosis.Liying Gao Liang Sun Yugui Cui Zhen Hou Li Gao Jing Zhou Yundong Mao Suping Han Jiayin Liu 2010The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,1:1

20Effect of surface damage induced by cavitation erosion on pitting and passive behaviors of 304L stainless steel显示文摘The corrosion behavior of 304L stainless steel(SS)in 3.5wt%NaCl solution after different cavitation erosion(CE)times was mainly evaluated using electrochemical noise and potentiostatic polarization techniques.It was found that the antagonism effect resulting in the passivation and depassivation of 304L SS had significant distinctions at different CE periods.The passive behavior was predominant during the incubation period of CE where the metastable pitting initiated at the surface of 304L SS.Over the rising period of CE,the 304L SS experienced a transition from passivation to depassivation,leading to the massive growth of metastable pitting and stable pitting.The depassivation of304L SS was found to be dominant at the stable period of CE where serious localized corrosion occurred.Liang Li Yanxin Qiao Lianmin Zhang Aili Ma Enobong Felix Daniel Rongyao Ma Jian Chen Yugui Zheng 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,7:0
