| 1 | A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. | 3 | HREELS study on coadsorption of oxygen and cyclohexanone on the Pt(111) surface显示文摘The coadsorption of cyclohexanone and oxygen on Pt(111) has been investigated by HREELS and TDS. At 205 K the presence of oxygen induces an 'extra' red\|shift of the C--O stretching of coadsorbed cyclohexanone. Heating this coadsorbed surface from 205 to 250 K leads to further dehydrogenation to form intermediate species and to complete disappearance of the C--O stretching band. Above 300 K, the molecule rings of dehydrogenation species cleave to form hydrocarbon fragments and CO molecules which directly desorb into the vacuum or react with preadsorbed oxygen to produce CO\-2 which leave the surface immediately. TDS results provide further evidence that the preadsorbed oxygen promotes the decomposition of cyclohexanone. | Yingsheng Wang Xuming Wei Suzhen Ren Runsheng Zhai Yukun Zhao Xianfeng Wang Suxian Zhuang | 1998 | Chinese Science Bulletin1998,43,15: | 0 |
| 4 | Preparation and properties of the SmO_x/Rh(100) model surface显示文摘The preparation of SmOx/Rh(100) and CO adsorption on this model surface have been investigated with Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and temperature programmed desorption spectroscopy (TDS). The oxygen adsorption on the SmRh alloy surface leads to the aggregation of Sm on the surface. The thermal treatment of this oxidized surface induces the further agglomeration of SmOx on the Rh(100) surface. Compared with CO TDS on the clean Rh(100) surface, three additional CO desorption peaks can be observed at 176,331 and 600 K on the SmOx/Rh(100) surface. The CO desorption peak at 176 K may originate from CO adsorbed on SmOx islands, while the appearance of the CO adsorption peaks at 331 and 600 K, depending on the oxidation state of Sm, is attributed to CO species located at the interface of SmOx/Rh(100). | MA Yunsheng ZHU Junfa ZHUANG Shuxian JIANG Zhiquan ZHOU Weiping ZHAI Runsheng BAO Xinhe | 2002 | Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,14: | 0 |
| 5 | Structure and properties of samarium overlayer and Sm/Rh surface alloy on Rh(100)显示文摘The structure and properties of Sm overlayer and Sm/Rh surface alloy have been investigated with Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), low energy electron diffraction (LEED), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and temperature programmed desorption spectroscopy (TDS). The growth of Sm on Rh(100) at room temperature (RT) appears following the Stranski-Krastanov growth mode and only the trivalent state Sm is observed from XPS results. Thermal treatment of the Sm film at 900 K leads to the formation of ordered surface alloy which shows the c R45°and c(2 ×2) LEED patterns. Annealing the Sm film at temperature above 400 K makes the binding energy (B.E.) of Sm 3d5/2 shift to higher energy by 0.7 eV, which indicates charge transfer from Sm to Rh(100) substrate, causing the increase of CO desorption temperature. | MA Yunsheng ZHU Junta ZHOU Weiping ZHAI Runsheng BAG Xinhe ZHANG Xingyi ZHUANG Shuxian | 2001 | Chinese Science Bulletin2001,46,20: | 0 |
