| 1 | Controlling factors on the submarine canyon system: A case study of the Central Canyon System in the Qiongdongnan Basin, northern South China Sea显示文摘Based on an integrated analysis of high-resolution 2D/3D seismic data and drilling results, this study analyzes the tectonicsedimentary evolution of the Qiongdongnan Basin(QDNB) since the late Miocene, and discusses the controlling factors on the formation and development of the Central Canyon System(CCS). The sediment failures caused by the relative sea level falling might have discharged deposits from the slope to the canyon. The two suits of the infillings, i.e., turbidites and mass transport complex(MTC), were derived from the northwestern source and northern source, respectively. The sediment supplies, which differ significantly among different areas, might have led to the variations observed in the internal architectures. Tectonic transformation around 11.6 Ma had provided the tectonic setting for the CCS and formed an axial sub-basin in the central part of the Changchang Depression, which could be called the rudiment of the CCS. The tectonic activity of the Red River Fault(RRF) at about 5.7 Ma might have strengthened the hydrodynamics of the deposits at the junction of the Yinggehai Basin(YGHB) and the QDNB to trigger a high-energy turbidity current. The MTC from the northern continental slope system might have been constrained by the Southern Uplift, functioning as a barrier for the infillings of the CCS. Thanks to a sufficient sediment supply during the Holocene period and the paleo-seafloor morphology, the relief of modern central canyon with the starving landform in the eastern Changchang Depression might have been accentuated by deposition of sediments and vertical growth along the canyon flanks, where collapse deposits were widely developed. Corresponding to the segmentation of the CCS, the forming mechanisms of the canyon between the three segments would be different. The turbidite channel in the head area had likely been triggered by the abundant sediment supply from the northwestern source together with the fault activity at about 5.7 Ma of the RRF. The formation and evolution of the canyon in the western segment were caused by combined effects of the turbidite channel from the northwestern source, the MTC from the northern continental slope, and the paleo-seafloor geomorphology. | 3 | Types,Characteristics and Significances of Migrating Pathways of Gas-bearing Fluids in the Shenhu Area,Northern Continental Slope of the South China Sea显示文摘The first marine gas hydrate expedition in China has been conducted by Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey in the Shenhu Area, northern continental slope of the South China Sea. Previous study has analyzed the P-T conditions, geophysical anomalies and saturation calculations of these gas hydrates, but has not documented in detail the migration of gas-bearing fluids in the study area. Based on the interpretations of 2D/3D seismic data, this work identified two types of migration pathways for gas-bearing fluids in the Shenhu area, i.e., vertical and lateral pathways. The vertical pathways(largescale faults, gas chimneys and mud diapirs) presented as steep seismic reflection anomalies, which could be traced downward to the Eocene source rocks and may penetrate into the Late Miocene strata. The deeper gases/fluids might be allowed migrating into the shallower strata through these vertical conduits. However, the distributions showed distinct differences between these pathways. Large-scale faults developed only in the north and northeast of the Shenhu area, while in the drilling area gas chimneys were the sole vertical migration pathways. Since the Pliocene, normal faults, detachment faults and favorable sediments have constituted the lateral pathways in the Shenhu gas hydrate drilling area. Although these lateral pathways were connected with gas chimneys, they exerted different effects on hydrate formation and accumulation. Gas-bearing fluids migrated upward along gas chimneys might further migrate laterally because of the normal faults, thereby enlarging the range of the chimneys. Linking gas chimneys with the seafloor, the detachment faults might act as conduits for escaping gases/fluids. Re-deposited sediments developed at the early stage of the Quaternary were located within the gas hydrate stability zone, so hydrates would be enriched in these favorable sediments. Compared with the migration pathways(large-scale faults and mud diapirs) in the LW3-1 deep-sea oil/gas field, the migration efficiency of the vertical pathways(composed of gas chimneys) in the gas hydrate drilling area might be relatively low. Description and qualitative discrimination of migration pathways in the Shenhu gas hydrate drilling area are helpful to further understand the relationship between good-quality deep source rocks and shallow, mainly biogenicallyproduced, hydrates. As the main source rocks of the Baiyun sag, lacustrine mudstones in the Wenchang and Enping Formations may provide thermogenic methane. Gas chimneys with relatively low migration efficiency created the vertical pathways. Caused by the Dongsha tectonic movement, the release of overpressured fluids might reduce the vertical migration rates of the thermogenic methane. The thick bathyal/abyssal fine-grained sediments since the Late Miocene provided migration media with low permeability. These preconditions may cause carbon isotopic fractionation ofthermogenic methane during long-distance vertical migrations. | 4 | Tectonic-Hydrocarbon Accumulation of Laoyemiao Region in the Nanpu Sag,Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘This paper aims to gain insight into Laoyemiao(LYM) tectonic features and utilizes the tectonic-hydrocarbon accumulation model by integrated analysis tectonic controls on suitable reservoirs,trap styles,and hydrocarbon migration.On the basis of 3-D seismic data interpretation and the Xi'nanzhuang(XNZ) Fault geometry analysis,it has been assessed that the LYM tectonics is essentially a transverse anticline produced by flexure of the XNZ Fault surface and superimposed by Neocene north-east-trending strike-slip faults.Transverse anticline is found to exert controls both on major sediment transportation pathways and sedimentary facies distribution.Fan-delta plains that accumulated on the anticline crest near the XNZ Fault scrap and fan-delta front on the anticline front and the upper part of both limbs slumps on synclines and the Linque subsag.In combination with the reservoir properties,suitable reservoirs are predicted in the subfacies of subaqueous distributary channel and mouth bar deposited on the anticline crest.The LYM-faulted anticline accounts for the following trap groups:faulted-block and anticline-dominated trap,fault-dominated traps,and combined and stratigraphic traps.Evidence from biomarkers of crude oil and hydrocarbon-filling period simultaneous,or a little later to the strike-slip fault activity,reveal that the strike-slip faults penetrating into the deep source rock,by connecting with shallow reservoirs,provide the major hydrocarbon migration pathways. | ZHANG Cuimei LIU Xiaofeng REN Jianye | 2009 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2009,83,5: | 8 |

| 10 | Efficacy and safety of Sancai powder in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the efficacy and safety of Sancai powder in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) inadequately controlled with single oral metformin in a randomized controlled trial(RCT).METHODS: A total of 132 patients with T2 DM were enrolled in the study, who only took metformin(500-1000 mg/day) for at least three months and with inadequate glycemic control(7.0% ≤ hemoglobin A1 c ≤ 9.0%) in the past three months.The patients stopped taking metformin with lifestyle interventions for three weeks, and 105 patients qualified for the program. They were randomly divided into the Sancai powder group and the metformin group(1500 mg/day). The follow-up period was for 12 weeks. Comparisons of several variables were analyzed.RESULTS: No significant differences were found between the two groups in hemoglobin A1c(Hb A1c),fasting plasma glucose(FPG) and 2 h post-meal glucose(2h PG), although they had decreased significantly(P < 0.01). Homeostasis model assessment of beta cell function index was significantly improved in Sancai powder group(P < 0.01), and there were significant differences in the changes of homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance and insulin sensitivity index in the two groups(P < 0.05). Herein, to understand the effect of confined ions by the MXene layers on the performance of electrochemical energy storage, Zn^(2+) ions were employed to intercalate into MXene via an electrochemical technique. Zn^(2+) ions induced a shrink of the adjacent MXene layers. Meaningfully, a higher capacity of lithium ion storage was obtained after Zn^(2+) preintercalation. In order to explore the roles of the intercalated Zn^(2+) ions, the structural evolution, and the electronic migration among Zn, Ti and the surface termination were investigated to trace the origination of the higher Li^(+) storage capacity. The pre-intercalated Zn^(2+) ions lost electrons, meanwhile Ti of MXene obtained electrons. Moreover, a low-F surface functional groups was achieved. Contrary to the first shrink, after 200 cycles, a larger interlayer distance was monitored, this can accelerate the ion transport and offer a larger expansile space for lithium storage. | 16 | Syngas to ethanol on MoCu(211)surface:Effect of promoter Mo on C-O bond breaking and C-C bond formation显示文摘The mechanism of syngas to ethanol on MoCu(211)surface has been researched by density functional theory(DFT)calculation,and the effects of Mo as a promoter on C-O bond breaking and C-C bond formation have been discussed.Calculations show that Cu-Mo atoms constitute the active sites on MoCu(211)surface after Mo atom being served as a promoter of Cu catalyst.Compared with Cu(211),MoCu(211)has two improvements.Firstly,CH_(3) is the most advantageous monomer on the MoCu(211)surface,which provides abundant CH_(3) intermediate for syngas to ethanol.Secondly,the C-C bond is formed mainly by inserting CHO into the abundant CH_(3),and the generated CH_(3)CHO through multiple steps of hydrogenation to generate C_(2)H_(5)OH.The key of the promoter Mo on the MoCu(211)surface also has been verified by the analysis of its electronic properties.Differential charge density shows that the massive electron transfer from Mo to Cu,projected density of states(pDOS)shows that the electron transfer from Mo to Cu makes the d-band center of MoCu(211)nearer to the Fermi level,these indicate that the MoCu(211)catalytic capacity increased.The addition of Mo in the Cu-based catalyst not only can effectively solve the problem of C-O bond breaking,but also promote C-C bond formation.About the influence of Mo content on C-O bond breaking and C-C bond formation,compared with MoCu(211),the DFT results and the d-band center of Mo_(2)Cu(211)show that the increase of Mo content could not promote the synergistic effect of Cu/Mo on the generation of ethanol more effectively. | Lijuan He Cuimei Zhi Lixia Ling Riguang Zhang Baojun Wang | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,5: | 0 |
| 17 | Novel titanium particles reinforced Zr-based bulk metallic glass composites prepared by infiltration casting显示文摘A novel Ti /Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10.0Be22.5 composite was successfully prepared by infiltrating the melt into sintered Ti preform. It shows that the introduction of Ti particles into the composite results in an increase in elastic strain to 3% and an enhancement of the strength up to 2.1 GPa. High specific strength has been obtained because of the decrease in density of the composite.
