1人工湿地系统对污水磷的净化效果显示文摘建立以亚热带湿生、水生植物为主的十二套下行流—上行流人工湿地系统作为处理城镇生活污水的对策。以其中四套研究其在不同的水力负荷及气候条件下对污水中磷的去除效果。人工湿地系统随处理运行时间的推移趋于稳定 ,对污水中的总磷、无机磷显示较好的净化效率 ,平均去除率在冬季达到 40 %以上 ,夏季达到 60 %以上 ,出水达到国家地面水Ⅲ级标准。水生植物在系统中起到明显作用 ,有植物系统的除磷效率及稳定性均高于无植物对照 ,其中 2号茭白—石菖蒲系统的效果最好 ,总磷平均去除率为 65%。 4号草—苔草系统在高水力负荷下的净化效果优于 2号。WU Zhen-bin CHEN Hui-rong HE Feng CHENG Shui-ping FU Gui-ping JIN Jian-ming QIU Dong-ru REN Ming-xun 任明迅 金建明 贺锋 陈辉蓉 付贵萍 吴振斌 邱东茹 成水平 2001水生生物学报2001,25,1:188

3Multimodality treatment in hepatocellular carcinoma patients with tumor thrombi in portal vein显示文摘AIM To compare the therapeutic effect andsignificances of multimodality treatment forhepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with tumorthrombi in portal vein (PVTT).METHODS HCC patients (n = 147) with tumortrombi in the main portal vein or the first branchof portal vein were divided into four groups bythe several therapeutic methods. There wereconservative treatment group in 18 out ofpatients (group A); and hepatic artery ligation(HAL) and/or hepatic artery infusion (HAl)group in 18 patients (group B), in whompostoberative chemoembolization was doneperiodically; group of removal of HCC with PVTTin 79 (group C) and group of transcatheterhepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) orHAl and/or portal vein infusion (PVI) afteroperation in 32 (group D).RESULTS The median survival period was 12months in our series and the 1-, 3-, and 5-yearsurvival rates were 44.3%, 24.5% and 15.2%,respectively. The median survival times were 2,5, 12 and 16 months in group A, B, C and D,respectively. The 1-, 3- and 5-year survival rateswere 5.6%, 0% and 0% in group A; 22.2%,5.6% and 0% in group B; 53.9%, 26.9% and16.6% in group C; 79.3%, 38.9% and 26.8% ingroup D, respectively. 6Spatial-Temporal Pattern and Driving Forces of Land Use Changes in Xiamen显示文摘Using Landsat TM data of 1988, 1998 and 2001, the dynamic process of the spatial-temporal characteristics of land use changes during 13 years from 1988 to 2001 in the special economic zone of Xiamen, China was analyzed to improve understanding and to find the driving forces of land use change so that sustainable land utilization could be practiced. During the 13 years cropland decreased remarkably by nearly 11304.95 ha. The areas of rural-urban construction and water body increased by 10 152.24 ha and 848.94 ha, respectively. From 1988 to 2001, 52.5% of the lost cropland was converted into rural-urban industrial land. Rapid urbanization contributed to a great change in the rate of cropland land use during these years. Land-reclamation also contributed to a decrease in water body area as well as marine ecological and environmental destruction. In the study area 1) urbanization and industrialization, 2) infrastructure and agricultural intensification, 3) increased affluence of the farming community, and 4) policy factors have driven the land use changes. 7Application and prospects of butylphthalide for the treatment of neurologic diseases显示文摘Objective: The 3-N-butylphthalide (NBP) comprises one of the chemical constituents of celery oil. It has a series of pharmacologic mechanisms including reconstructing microcirculation, protecting mitochondrial function, inhibiting oxidative stress, inhibiting neuronal apoptosis, etc. Based on the complex multi-targets of pharmacologic mechanisms of NBP, the clinical application of NBP is increasing and more clinical researches and animal experiments are also focused on NBP. The aim of this review was to comprehensively and systematically summarize the application of NBP on neurologic diseases and briefly summarize its application to non-neurologic diseases. Moreover, recent progress in experimental models of NBP on animals was summarized. Data sources: Literature was collected from PubMed and Wangfang database until November 2018, using the search terms including '3-N-butylphthalide,''microcirculation,''mitochondria,''ischemic stroke,''Alzheimer disease,''vascular dementia,''Parkinson disease,''brain edema,''CO poisoning,''traumatic central nervous system injury,''autoimmune disease,''amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,''seizures,''diabetes,''diabetic cataract,' and 'atherosclerosis.' Study selection: Literature was mainly derived from English articles or articles that could be obtained with English abstracts and partly derived from Chinese articles. Article type was not limited. References were also identified from the bibliographies of identified articles and the authors’ files. Results: NBP has become an important adjunct for ischemic stroke. In vascular dementia, the clinical application of NBP to treat severe cognitive dysfunction syndrome caused by the hypoperfusion of brain tissue during cerebrovascular disease is also increasing. Evidence also suggests that NBP has a therapeutic effect for neurodegenerative diseases. Many animal experiments have found that it can also improve symptoms in other neurologic diseases such as epilepsy, cerebral edema, and decreased cognitive function caused by severe acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Moreover, NBP has therapeutic effects for diabetes, diabetes-induced cataracts, and non-neurologic diseases such as atherosclerosis. Mechanistically, NBP mainly improves microcirculation and protects mitochondria. Its broad pharmacologic effects also include inhibiting oxidative stress, nerve cell apoptosis, inflammatory responses, and anti-platelet and anti-thrombotic effects. 10Significance of cyclooxygenase-2 expression in human primary hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To clarify the significance of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression in human primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and adjacent nontumorous tissues.METHODS: The COX-2 protein and mRNA were investigatedin 27 HCC tissues with adjacent nontumorous tissues, and 5histologically normal liver tissues, using immunohistochemistryand in situ hybridization.RESULTS: The well-differentiated HCC expressed COX-2protein (5.68±1.19) more strongly than moderated HCC(3.43± 1.98) and poor differentiated HCC (3.33± 1.50)(P<0.05 respectively), adjacent nontumorous tissues (4.93±1.05) and normal liver tissues (3.20±1.g2) (P<0.01respectively); More intensive staining of COX-2 in adjacentnontumorous tissues was observed than that in normal livertissues (P<0.05). There was no significant difference amongadjacent nontumorous tissues, moderately differentiated HCCand poorly differentiated HCC (P>0.05). 13Ankylosing spondylitis: etiology, pathogenesis, and treatments显示文摘Ankylosing spondylitis(AS), a common type of spondyloarthropathy, is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that mainly affects spine joints, causing severe, chronic pain;additionally, in more advanced cases, it can cause spine fusion. Significant progress in its pathophysiology and treatment has been achieved in the last decade. Immune cells and innate cytokines have been suggested to be crucial in the pathogenesis of AS, especially human leukocyte antigen(HLA)?B27 and the interleukin?23/17 axis.However, the pathogenesis of AS remains unclear. 14Controlling N-doping type in carbon to boost single-atom site Cu catalyzed transfer hydrogenation of quinoline显示文摘Single-atom site(SA)catalysts on N-doped carbon(CN)materials exhibit prominent performance for their active sites being M-Nx.Due to the commonly random doping behaviors of N species in these CN,it is a tough issue to finely regulate their doping types and clarify their effect on the catalytic property of such catalysts.Herein,we report that the N-doping type in CN can be dominated as pyrrolic-N and pyridinic-N respectively through compounding with different metal oxides.It is found that the proportion of distinct doped N species in CN depends on the acidity and basicity of compounded metal oxide host.Owing to the coordination by pyrrolic-N,the SA Cu catalyst displays an enhanced activity(two-fold)for transfer hydrogenation of quinoline to access the valuable molecule tetrahydroquinoline with a good selectivity(99%)under mild conditions.The higher electron density of SA Cu species induced by the predominate pyrrolic-N coordination benefits the hydrogen transfer process and reduces the energy barrier of the hydrogenation pathway,which accounts for the improved catalytic effeciency.Jian Zhang Caiyan Zheng Maolin Zhang Yajun Qiu Qi Xu Weng-Chon Cheong Wenxing Chen Lirong Zheng Lin Gu Zhengpeng Hu Dingsheng Wang Yadong Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,11:29
15The application of large volume airgun sources to the onshore-offshore seismic surveys: implication of the experimental results in northern South China Sea显示文摘Onshore-offshore seismic experiments were carried out for the first time in northern South China Sea using large volume airgun sources at sea and seismic stations on land. The experimental results indicate that seismic signals from the new airgun array of R/V Shiyan 2 can be detected as far as 255 km. The signal effective area reaches nearly 50000 km2, which covers Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta. Compared with the old airgun array, the signal amplitude, propagation distance and effective area of the new airgun array have been increased notably, which demonstrates that the upgrade of the airgun source was successful. Comparisons with previous experimental results in other regions show that the shooting effect of the new airgun array is similar to those best airgun sources in the world. 16QTL Analysis of Major Agronomic Traits in Soybean显示文摘Soybean is a main crop,and most agronomic traits of soybean are quantitative;therefore,there is very important studying and applying value to locating these traits.A F 2:10 RIL population containing 154 lines,derived from the cross between Charleston as female and Dongnong 594 as male parent,were used in this experiment.A genetic linkage map was constructed with 164 SSR primers,which were screened with the two parents and amplified on the 154 lines.12 agronomic traits different between the two parents were investigated,and QTLs of all the traits were analyzed using the software Windows QTL Cartographer V2.0.The agronomic traits included quality traits:protein content,oil content,and content of protein and oil;yield traits:pods per plant,seed weight per plant,and 100 seeds weight;and other agronomic traits: plant height,days to maturity,branches,nod number in main stem,average leaf length,and average leaf width.The results showed that 68 QTLs in total were found for the 12 agronomic traits.The number of QTLs per trait varied from 3 for the average leaf width to 11 for 100 seeds weight and plant height,and was 5.8 on average.Good accordance was seen in many QTLs between the results of this study and the results obtained by other similar studies;therefore,these QTLs may be valuable for molecular marker assistant selection in soybean.In this study,68 major QTLs of 12 important traits of soybean were analyzed.CHEN Qing-shan ZHANG Zhong-chen LIU Chun-yan XIN Da-wei QIU Hong-mei SHAN Da-peng SHAN Cai-yun HU Guo-hua 2007Agricultural Sciences in China2007,6,4:27
17Sleep and Cognitive Abnormalities in Acute Minor Thalamic Infarction显示文摘In order to characterize sleep and the cognitive patterns in patients with acute minor thalamic infarction(AMTI), we enrolled 27 patients with AMTI and 12 matched healthy individuals. Questionnaires about sleep and cognition as well as polysomnography(PSG) were performed on days 14 and 90 post-stroke. Compared to healthy controls, in patients with AMTI, hyposomnia was more prevalent; sleep architecture was disrupted as indicated by decreased sleep efficiency, increased sleep latency, and decreased non-rapid eye movement sleep stages 2 and 3;more sleep-related breathing disorders occurred; and cognitive functions were worse, especially memory. While sleep apnea and long-delay memory recovered to a large extent in the patients, other sleep and cognitive function deficit often persisted. Patients with AMTI are at an increased risk for hyposomnia, sleep structure disturbance,sleep apnea, and memory deficits. 19A new way to generate seismic waves for continental crustal exploration显示文摘An airgun experiment was conducted in a reservoir,with the total volume of the airgun array being 6000 cubic inch. The energy released by one excitation was estimated to be 6.68×106 J,which corresponded to a 3.4 kg TNT explosion. A 180 km long profile composed of 100 portable short period seismometers was deployed as a receiver system of the airgun signals. Two remarkable results can be drawn from the experiment: (1) the airgun explosion is harmless to the dam and the fish,and this kind of airguns can be regarded as a green and environmental protection seismic source on land; (2) seismic wave gener-ated by this airgun source can be recorded by permanent stations with offset larger than 200 km. And the wave amplitudes recorded by nearby and remote stations are equivalent to the wave generated by 800 kg dynamite explosion. 20Effect of Sancaijiangtang on plasma nitric oxide and endothelin-1 levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and vascular dementia:a single-blind randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Sancaijiangtang powders on plasma nitric oxide and endothelin-1 levels. We sought to identify the common pathological link and mechanism of action for Traditional Chinese medicine in type 2 diabetes mellitus and vascular dementia,and to explicate the material basis for treating the different diseases with the same method in Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS: In total,168 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and vascular dementia were enrolled in the study,and randomly divided into two groups by simple randomization. Patients in the treatment group received oral Sancaijiangtang powders with pioglitazone hydrochloride three times daily,while patients in the control group received pioglitazone hydrochloride alone. The treatment course was for12 weeks. Mini-mental state examinations(Chinese version) and Montreal Cognitive Assessments(Beijing version) were performed,and fasting plasma glucose,fasting insulin,hemoglobin A1 c,homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance,plasma nitric oxide and endothelin-1 levels were measured before and after the treatment.RESULTS: The post-treatment levels for all measurements in both groups were better than pre-treatment levels(P < 0.05). The post-treatment levels for all measurements in the treatment group were better than the levels measured in the control group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: Type 2 diabetes mellitus and vascular dementia have common pathological mechanisms for insulin resistance and endothelium dysfunction. Sancaijiangtang powders could improve the release of nitric oxide and inhibit the secretion of endothelin-1.
