| 1 | Identification on threshold and efficiency of rainfall replenishment to soil water in semi-arid loess hilly areas显示文摘As one critical source of water for maintaining ecosystems in arid and semi-arid regions, rainfall replenishment to soil water can determine vegetation growth and ecosystem functions. However, the limited rainfall resources were often not used effectively in the semi-arid loess hilly areas due to random temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall and specific vegetation features. Thus, it is highly significant to determine the threshold and efficiency of rainfall replenishment to soil water under different vegetation types. The threshold and efficiency can offer scientific evidence for rehabilitating vegetation and improving efficiency of using rainfall resources. In this study, the efficiency and threshold of rainfall replenishment to soil water were determined under natural grassland, wheat, artificial grassland, sea buckthorn shrubland and Chinese pine forestland based on consecutive measurements. The results indicated that the lag-time, rate, efficiency of rainfall replenishment to soil water were closely related to vegetation type, with significant differences existing among different vegetation types. The lag-time for natural grassland in the soil horizon of 20 cm was the shortest one(26.4 h), followed by wheat(27.8 h), sea buckthorn(41.8 h), artificial grassland(50.0 h) and Chinese pine(81.8 h).The value of replenishment rate, followed the order of wheat(0.40 mm h^(-1))> natural grassland(0.30 mm h(-1))> sea buckthorn(0.17 mm h(-1))> artificial grassland(0.14 mm h(-1))> Chinese pine(0.09 mm h(-1)). As for the efficiency of rainfall replenishment to soil water, natural grassland was the most efficient one(35.1%), followed by wheat(29.2%), sea buckthorn(16.8%), artificial grassland(11.5%), Chinese pine(4.2%). At last, it was found that wheat had the lowest threshold(6.8 mm) of rainfall replenishment to soil water, which was followed by natural grassland(10.5 mm), sea buckthorn(20.5 mm), artificial grassland(22.6 mm) and Chinese pine(26.4 mm). | 2 | Regional homogeneity abnormalities in patients with tensiontype headache:a resting-state fMRI study显示文摘Tension-type headache(TTH) is the most prevalent type of primary headache. Many studies have shown that the pathogenesis of primary headache is associated with fine structural or functional changes. However, these studies were mainly based on migraine. The present study aimed to investigate whether TTH patients show functional disturbances compared with healthy subjects. We used restingstate functional magnetic resonance imaging(f MRI) and regional homogeneity(Re Ho) analysis to identify changes in the local synchronization of spontaneous activity in patients with TTH. Ten patients with TTH and 10 age-, gender-, and education-matched healthy controls participated in the study. After demographic and clinical characteristics were acquired, a 3.0-T MRI system was used to obtain restingstate f MRIs. Compared with healthy controls, the TTH group exhibited significantly lower Re Ho values in the bilateral caudate nucleus, the precuneus, the putamen, the left middle frontal gyrus, and the superior frontal gyrus. There was no correlation between mean Re Ho values in TTH patients and duration of TTH, number of attacks, duration of daily attacks, Visual Analogue Scale score, or Headache Impact Test-6 score. | 3 | Applied Sequence Stratigraphy in Nonmarine Basin of China显示文摘This paper presents a preliminary summary of the applied sequence stratigraphy in nonmarine basins in China. The geological and geophysical data show that the nonmarine sequences mainly resulted from both allocyclic and autocyclic processes where the most important factors were isolated tectonics and climate. However, the environmental factor should have been crucial. The depositional base level served as the sea level in the marine environment, while the water table, lake level and fluvial equilibrium were profiled in a terrigenous environment. This accommodation varied periodically with the base level, resulting in the formation of a series of depositional sequences in terms of genesis and space. Basically, the base level of the inner continent was not affected by the changes in the relative sea level. But there would have been some relations between the changes in the relative sea level and that in the continental base level during eustacy flooding. However, a small time lag existed between the changes in the marine basin and the inner continent basin, The lake basin is smaller than the marine basin, but its velocity of sediment supply is greater than that of the marine basin. Therefore, the number of nonmarine sequences is greater than that of marine ones in the same period. It is important to recognize the system tracts for the study of high-precision or high-resolution sequence stratigraphy, especially to analyze the low-stand systems tract with its depositional system. The sequence boundary is genetically characterized by subaerial exposure, stratigraphic truncation and subaqueous erosion. The deposition analysis of Zhanhua depression reveals 5 sequence architectures: alluvial-fluvial/lacustrine architecture, transitional architecture formed between haline (mesohaline) lake and fresh lake, marine duration-deep lacustrine architecture, half deep lacustrine-ramp architecture and fluvial-alluvial plain architecture. During the major development of the nonmarine basin, the step-faulting breaks controlled the depositional system. Usually, the low-stand complex fan, prograding wedge and high-stand turbidity fan were close to the third stepping break. In the low-stand period, the sediments went around the incised valleys which then were filled with sand bar near the second stepping break. At the first stepping break the sediments were bypassed step by step or the alluvial fan was deposited with forced regressions in the low-stand time. The low-stand wedge may serve as favorable subtle or complex traps at the basin floor fan. | 8 | Photodynamic therapy with TBZPy regulates the PI3K/AKT and endoplasmic reticulum stress-related PERK/eIF2α pathways in HeLa cells显示文摘Background:((1-triphenylaminebenzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole-4-yl)styryl)-1-methylpyridin methylpyridin-1-ium iodide salt(TBZPy)is a novel photosensitizer that displays excellent photodynamic properties.However,There are few reports on the mechanism of action of the TBZPy photodynamic.Previous studies revealed that photodynamic therapy(PDT)could induce endoplasmic reticulum stress by acting on the endoplasmic reticulum.Therefore,in this study,we investigated the effects of endoplasmic reticulum stress induced by TBZPy-PDT in treating High-risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV)infection and their underlying mechanisms.Methods:The human cervical cancer cell line HeLa(containing whole genome of HR-HPV18)was treated with TBZPy-PDT.Cell migration,invasion,and colony-forming ability were evaluated using wound-healing,Transwell invasion,and colonyforming assays,respectively.Through western blot analysis,we determined the level of expression of the PI3K/AKT and PERK/eIF2αpathway proteins and the proteins associated with calcium trafficking and apoptosis.The calcium levels in the cytoplasm were detected via flow cytometry.Results:The result shows that TBZPy-PDT could inhibite the migration,invasion,and colony forming ability of infected HeLa cells by downregulating the PI3K/AKT pathway in vitro.And we found that TBZPy-PDT induced endoplasmic reticulum stress-specific apoptosis via the PERK/eIF2αpathway.Moreover,TBZPy-PDT increased the levels of calcium and calmodulin,while decreasing the levels of endoplasmic reticulum calcium-binding proteins.Conclusions:TBZPy-PDT is effective on treating human papillomavirus-infected cells.Targeting the PI3K/AKT and PERK/eIF2αpathways and the endoplasmic reticulum stress process may help improve the effects of TBZPy-PDT for treating high-risk human papillomavirus infection. | YIFAN LI JING ZHANG YITAO FAN HANDAN XIAO KEXIN KANG YALI ZHOU ZHIWEN ZHANG YUMIN LI MUZHOU TENG | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,8: | 0 |

| 14 | Study on phosphorus loss and influencing factors in the water source area显示文摘Maintaining drinking water security is a global issue,and phosphorus is a limiting factor affecting drinking water quality.Hence,this study took Fushi Reservoir as a test area,and set up field runoff observation plots around the reservoir catchment,which is covered by moso bamboo stands.Through field observation,the vertical variation of phosphorus loss in different stands of moso bamboo was initially studied.The results showed that:(1)For the vertical dimensions(atmospheric rainfall,stemflow,throughfall,surface runoff)from high to low,the loss of total phosphorus(TP)increased,and the pro-portion of dissolved phosphorus increased from 29.29%(atmospheric rainfall)to 62.76%(surface runoff).(2)Different rainfall factors had various impacts on phosphorus loss at the different vertical levels.The accumulation of rainfall had the greatest impact on surface runoff TP loss,with the correlation coefficient reaching 0.994(P<0.01),while surface runoff particulate phosphorus loss was mostly affected by the average rainfall intensity.(3)Modifying the forest structure in water source areas can reduce the loss of TP via stemflow and throughfall,but the effect on surface runoff TP loss is variable.Thus,it is expected that this novel study can serve as a reference for improving the environmental quality of water source areas,and help in reducing phosphorus loss and controlling non-point source pollution. | Rongjia Wang Chunju Cai Jianfeng Zhang Shiyong Sun Handan Zhang | 2022 | International Soil and Water Conservation Research2022,10,2: | 0 |
