| 2 | The discovery of Palaeoproterozoic volcanic rocks in the Bulunkuoler Group from the Tianshuihai Massif in Xinjiang of Northwest China and its geological significance显示文摘In the Dabudaer region of the Tianshuihai Massif (Xinjiang, Northwest China), metavolcanic rocks within the mainly meta-sedimentary Bulunkuoler Group are basalt, basaltic andesite, and rhyolite. In situ zircon U-Pb LA-ICP-MS dating on rhyolite magmatic zircons yielded an age of 2481±14 Ma, interpreted as the eruption age of the Bulunkuoler Group volcanic rocks. The basalt and basaltic andesite are low-Al tholeiite series and the rhyolite is low-Al calc-alkaline series. All of rocks are charac-terized by enrichment of LREE and LILE (Rb, Th and Ba), depletion of P, Nb, Ta and Ti, and absence of Eu anomalies. The εNd(t) of basalts ranges from 3.14 to 4.88 indicating a depleted mantle source. The trace element signatures show that these magmas experienced intense crustal contamination during their ascent. Direct evidence for crustal contamination is the xenocrystic zircons in the ryholite, with ages back to ca. 3300 Ma. The primitive-mantle normalized and Zr/Y-Zr diagrams for the basic volcanic rocks show that they formed in an intra-continental tectonic setting. | 6 | Anchor Self-Localization Algorithm Based on UWB Ranging and Inertial Measurements显示文摘Localization systems utilizing Ultra-WideBand(UWB) have been widely used in dense urban and indoor environments. A moving UWB tag can be located by ranging to fixed UWB anchors whose positions are surveyed in advance. However, manually surveying the anchors is typically a dull and time-consuming process and prone to artificial errors. In this paper, we present an accurate and easy-to-use method for UWB anchor self-localization,using the UWB ranging measurements and readings from a low-cost Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU). The locations of the anchors are automatically estimated by freely moving the tag in the environment. The method is inspired by the Simultaneous Localization And Mapping(SLAM) technique used by the robotics community. A tightly-coupled Error-State Kalman Filter(ESKF) is utilized to fuse UWB and inertial measurements, producing UWB anchor position estimates and six Degrees of Freedom(6 DoF) tag pose estimates. | 7 | A Domestication-Associated Gene GmPRR3b Regulates the Circadian Clock and Flowering Time in Soybean显示文摘Improved soybean cultivars have been adapted to grow at a wide range of latitudes,enabling expansion of cultivation worldwide.However,the genetic basis of this broad adaptation is still not clear.Here,we report the identification of GmPRR3b as a major flowering time regulatory gene that has been selected during domestication and genetic improvement for geographic expansion.Through a genome-wide association study of a diverse soybean landrace panel consisting of 279 accessions,we identified 16 candidate quantitative loci associated with flowering time and maturity time.The strongest signal resides in the known flowering gene E2,verifying the effectiveness of our approach.We detected strong signals associated with both flowering and maturity time in a genomic region containing GmPRR3b.Haplotype analysis revealed that GmPRR3bH6 is the major form of GmPRR3b that has been utilized during recent breeding of modern cultivars.mRNA profiling analysis showed that GmPRR3bH6 displays rhythmic and photoperiod-dependent expression and is preferentially induced under long-day conditions.Overexpression of GmPRR3bH6 increased main stem node number and yield,while knockout of GmPRR3bH6 using CRISPR/Cas9 technology delayed growth and the floral transition.GmPRR3bH6 appears to act as a transcriptional repressor of multiple predicted circadian clock genes,including GmCCAIa,which directly upregulates J/GmELF3a to modulate flowering time.The causal SNP(Chr12:5520945)likely endows GmPRR3bH6 a moderate but appropriate level of activity,leading to early flowering and vigorous growth traits preferentially selected during broad adaptation of landraces and improvement of cultivars. | Cong Li Ying-hui Li Yanfei Li Hongfeng Lu Huilong Hong Yu Tian Hongyu Li Tao Zhao Xiaowei Zhou Jun Liu Xinan Zhou Scott A.Jackson Bin Liu Li-juan Qiu | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,5: | 11 |
| 8 | Thermal decomposition and oxidation of bastnaesite concentrate in inert and oxidative atmosphere显示文摘To clearly elucidate the oxidative roasting behaviors of the bastnaesite, the thermal decomposition and oxidation of the bastnaesite concentrate in inert and oxidative atmosphere have been investigated in detail. Experimental data indicated that the initial decomposition temperature of the concentrate under N_2 atmosphere is 150 ℃ higher than that under O_2 atmosphere,most likely because the oxidation of the cerium induces the decomposition of the concentrate. For the roasted samples under N_2 atmosphere at500 ℃ and above,the oxidation efficiency of the cerium is 19.8%-26.8% because of the fact that rareearth fluorocarbonate is first decomposed to form rare-earth oxyfluoride and CO_2, and the cerium oxyfluoride is then partially oxidized by the CO_2 gas. The rest cerium in these samples can be further oxidized in air at room temperature, with the oxidation efficiency of the cerium gradually increasing to above 80% in 7 d. This can be attributed to the obvious changes in the inner morphology of the roasted samples under N_2 atmosphere at high temperatures, which largely induce the diffusion of the air and improves the oxidation activity of CeOF, and further induces the oxidation of CeOF by the air. XRD and XPS techniques were used to further verify the significant differences in the thermal decomposition behaviors of the bastnaesite concentrate under N_2 and O_2 atmosphere. Moreover, no oxidation of Pr^(3+) to Pr^(4+) in the roasted samples under both N_2 and O_2 atmosphere is observed. | 9 | Myeloid-specific targeting of Notch ameliorates murine renal fibrosis via reduced infiltration and activation of bone marrowderived macrophage显示文摘Macrophages play critical roles in renal fibrosis.However,macrophages exhibit ontogenic and functional heterogeneities,and which population of macrophages contributes to renal fibrosis and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.In this study,we genetically targeted Notch signaling by disrupting the transcription factor recombination signal binding protein-JK(RBP-J),to reveal its role in regulation of macrophages during the unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO)-induced murine renal fibrosis.Myeloid-specific disruption of RBP-J attenuated renal fibrosis with reduced extracellular matrix deposition and myofibroblast activation,as well as attenuated epithelial-mesenchymal transition,likely owing to the reduced expression of TGF-β.Mean while,RBP-J deletion significantly hampered macrophage infiltration and activation in fibrotic kidney,although their proliferation appeared unaltered.By using macrophage clearance experiment,we found that kidney resident macrophages made negligible contribution,but bone marrow(BM)-derived macrophages played a major role in renal fibrogenesis.Further mechanistic analyses showed that Notch blockade reduced monocyte emigration from BM by down-regulating CCR2 expression.Finally,we found that myeloid-specific Notch activation aggravated renal fibrosis,which was mediated by CCR2^+macrophages infiltration.In summary,our data have unveiled that myeloid-specific targeting of Notch could ameliorate renal fibrosis by regulating BM-derived macrophages recruitment and activation,providing a novel strategy for intervention of this disease. | Yali Jiang Yuanyuan Wang Pengfei Ma Dongjie An Junlong Zhao Shiqian Liang Yuchen Ye Yingying Lu Peng Zhang Xiaowei Liu Hua Han Hongyan Qin | 2019 | Protein & Cell2019,10,3: | 10 |
| 10 | Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of early Paleozoic granitoids in East Kunlun belt: Evidences from geochronology, geochemistry and isotopes显示文摘The East Kunlun Orogenic Belt(EKOB) provides an important link to reconstruct the evolution of the Proto-Tethys and Paleo-Tethys realm. The EKOB is marked by widespread Early Paleozoic magmatism.Here we report the petrology, bulk geochemistry, zircon Ue Pb dating and, Lue Hf and SreN d isotopic data of the Early Paleozoic granitic rocks in Zhiyu area of the southern EKOB. Based on the zircon U-Pb dating, these granitoids, consisting of diorite, granodiorite and monzogranite, were formed during 450 -430 Ma the Late Ordovician to Middle Silurian. The diorite and granodiorite are high Sr/Y ratio as adakitic affinities, and the monzogranite belongs to highly fractionated I-type. Their(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)ivalues range from 0.7059 to 0.7085, εNd(t) values from -1.6 to -6.0 and the zircon εHf(t) values show large variations from +9.1 to -8.6 with Hf model ages(T_(DM2)) about 848 Ma and 1970 Ma. The large variations of whole-rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopes demonstrate strong isotopic heterogeneity of the source regions which probably resulted from multi-phase underplating of mantle-derived magmas. Geochemical and isotopic studies proved that the diorite and granodiorite had been derived from partial melting of heterogeneous crustal source with variable contributions from ancient continental crust and juvenile components, and the monzogranites were representing fractional crystallization and crustal contamination for arc magma. | 11 | Carbon Emission of Regional Land Use and Its Decomposition Analysis: Case Study of Nanjing City, China显示文摘Through the matching relationship between land use types and carbon emission items, this paper estimated carbon emissions of different land use types in Nanjing City, China and analyzed the influencing factors of carbon emissions by Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(LMDI) model. The main conclusions are as follows: 1) Total anthropogenic carbon emission of Nanjing increased from 1.22928 x 107 t in 2000 to 3.06939 x 107 t in 2009, in which the carbon emission of Inhabitation, mining & manufacturing land accounted for 93% of the total. 2) The average land use carbon emission intensity of Nanjing in 2009 was 46.63 t/ha, in which carbon emission intensity of Inhabitation, mining & manufacturing land was the highest(200.52 t/ha), which was much higher than that of other land use types. 3) The average carbon source intensity in Nanjing was 16 times of the average carbon sink intensity(2.83 t/ha) in 2009, indicating that Nanjing was confronted with serious carbon deficit and huge carbon cycle pressure. 4) Land use area per unit GDP was an inhibitory factor for the increase of carbon emissions, while the other factors were all contributing factors. 5) Carbon emission effect evaluation should be introduced into land use activities to formulate low-carbon land use strategies in regional development. | ZHAO Rongqin HUANG Xianjin LIU Ying ZHONG Taiyang DING Minglei CHUAI Xiaowei | 2015 | Chinese Geographical Science2015,25,2: | 10 |
| 12 | Liraglutide alleviates cardiac fibrosis through inhibiting P4hα-1 expression in STZ-induced diabetic cardiomyopathy显示文摘Diabetic cardiomyopathy is an important contributor to morbidity and mortality of diabetic patients by causing heart failure.Interstitial and perivascular fibrosis plays a crucial role in diabetic cardiomyopathy.However,there is a lack of effective specific treatments available for diabetic cardiomyopathy.In the present study,we aim to explore the effects of Liraglutide,a GLP-1 analogue,on diabetic cardiomyopathy in STZ-induced diabetic rats fed with high-fat diet.A total of 60 male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to three groups,i.e.normal group,model group,and Liraglutide group,with 20 rats in each group.Serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,NEFA,and hydroxyproline were measured using commercial kits.Cardiac function was evaluated by QRS waves,LVEDd,LVESd,and LVEF.Myocardial fibrosis was measured by immunohistochemistry.Our results demonstrated that chronic administration of Liraglutide decreased the level of blood glucose and significantly alleviated lipid metabolic disturbance compared with the model group.Furthermore,Liraglutide was found to improve the damaged cardiac function.In line with this,we also found that the alleviation of cardiac dysfunction was associated with the decreased fibrosis in diabetic myocardial tissues,which was reflected by the decreased expressions of P4hα-1,COL-1,COL-3,MMP-1,and MMP-9.Our results thus suggest that Liraglutide might have a myocardial protective effect by inhibiting P4hα-1-mediated myocardial fibrosis. | Tong Zhao Huiqiang Chen Fei Xu Juan Wang Yusheng Liu Xiaowei Xing Linlin Guo Mingxiang Zhang Qinghua Lu | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,3: | 9 |
| 13 | miR-137, a new target for post-stroke depression?显示文摘Expression of miR-137 is downregulated in brain tissue from patients with depression and suicidal behavior,and is also downregulated in peripheral blood from stroke patients.However,it is not yet known if miR-137 acts as a bridge between stroke and depression.To test this,we used middle cerebral artery occlusion and chronic mild stress to establish a post-stroke depression model in rats.Compared with controls,we found significantly lower miR-137 levels in the brain and peripheral blood from post-stroke depression rats.Injection of a miR-137 antagonist into the brain ventricles upregulated miR-137 levels,and improved behavioral changes in post-stroke depression rats.Luciferase assays showed miR-137 bound to the 3′UTR of Grin2A,regulating Grin2A expression in a neuronal cell line.Grin2A gene overexpression in the brain of post-stroke depression rats,noticeably suppressed the inhibitory effect of miR-137 on post-stroke depression.Overall,our results show that miR-137 suppresses Grin2A protein expression through binding to Grin2A mRNA,thereby exerting an inhibitory effect on post-stroke depression.Our results offer a new therapeutic direction for post-stroke depression. | Lixia Zhao Huazi Li Ruiyou Guo Teng Ma Rongyao Hou Xiaowei Ma Yifeng Du | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,26: | 8 |

| 15 | Industrial and Agricultural Effects on Water Environment and Its Optimization in Heavily Polluted Area in Taihu Lake Basin, China显示文摘The deteriorating water quality in the Taihu Lake Basin has attracted widespread attention for many years, and is correlated with a sharp increase in the quantity of pollutant discharge such as agricultural fertilizers and industrial wastewater. In this study, several factors were selected for evaluating and regionalizing the water environmental capacity by ArcGIS spatial analysis, including geomorphologic characteristics, water quality goals, water body accessibility, water-dilution channels, and current water quality. Then, the spatial optimization of agriculture and industry was adjusted through overlay analysis, based on the balance between industrial space and water environmental capacity. The results show that the water environmental capacity gradually decreases from the west to the east, in contrast, the pollution caused by industrial and agricultural clustering is distributes along Taihu Lake, Gehu Lake and urban districts. The analysis of the agricultural space focuses on optimizing key protected areas of the Taihu Lake Basin, and the shores of Gehu Lake, optimally adjusting the second protected areas of the Taihu Lake Basin, and generally adjusting the urban areas of Changzhou and Wuxi cities. The analysis of industrial space focuses on optimizing the downtowns of Changzhou and Wuxi cities, optimally adjusting key protected areas and second protected areas of the Taihu Lake Basin, and generally adjusting the south and southwest of Gehu Lake. | 20 | A feasibility study on diag-nosing wheat water status using spectral reflectance显示文摘A total of 110 wheat leaf samples were collected in the field and their spectral reflectances were measured with a spectroradiometer in laboratory. After a spectral normalizing technique, the spectral absorption feature parameters such as the absorption depth and area, were extracted from each leaf spectrum. The relative water content (RWC) was measured for samples. The experimental results indicated that the spectral absorption depth and area of wheat leaves at 1 450 nm were correlated with their RWC. So we can diagnose wheat water status by using their spectral reflectances.
