1High-precision measurement of mercury isotope ratios of atmospheric deposition over the past 150 years recorded in a peat core taken from Hongyuan, Sichuan Province, China显示文摘High-precision 210Pb dating technology was applied to a peat core with a time span of about 150 years that was taken from Hongyuan, Sichuan Province, China. The concentrations of total mercury (Hg) and stable isotope compositions of mercury in the peat core were measured using a LUMEX 915 instrument and multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, respectively. Total mercury (Hg) concentrations in the peat core had a clearly increasing trend from the bottom to top of the core while δ 202Hg values (relative to NIST 3133) of peat had a decreasing trend. The total mercury (Hg) concentration varied from 16.7 to 101.3 ng/g and the δ 202Hg values ranged from –0.44‰± 0.14‰ to –1.45‰± 0.22‰. 2RuCl_3 anchored onto post-synthetic modification MIL-101(Cr)-NH_2 as heterogeneous catalyst for hydrogenation of CO_2 to formic acid显示文摘A series of efficient ruthenium chloride (RuCl_3)-anchored MOF catalysts,such as RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-Sal,and RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-DPPB, have been successfully synthesized by post-synthetic modification (PSM)of the terminal amino of MIL-101(Cr)-NH_2 with salicylaldehyde, 2-diphenylphosphinobenzaldehyde (DPPBde) and anchoring of Ru (Ⅲ) ions. The stronger coordination electron donor interaction between Ru (Ⅲ) ions and chelating groups in the RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-DPPB enhances its catalytic performance for CO_2 hydrogenation to formic acid. 3Interface tuning of Cu+/CuO by zirconia for dimethyl oxalate hydrogenation to ethylene glycol over Cu/SiO2 catalyst显示文摘An efficient ZrO2-doped Cu/SiO2 catalyst was fabricated through hydrolysis precipitation method(HP)and used to produce ethylene glycol(EG)through dimethyl oxalate(DMO)hydrogenation.The states for zirconia on copper catalyst and roles in DMO hydrogenation were investigated through various characterization tools,including N2 physical adsorption,XRD,H2-TPR,Methyl glycolate-TPD-MS,XPS,XAES as well.Compared with common ammonia evaporation and co-precipitation methods used in catalyst preparation,this HP method is found to effectively suppress the agglomeration and further size growth of copper nanoparticles by enhancing the interactions between copper and zirconia species.More importantly,uniform distribution of ZrO2 dopant is achieved due to the pseudo-homogeneous reactions in the mixing step of catalyst preparation.A proper amount of zirconium dopant helps achieve the desirable proportion of Cu+/(Cu++CuO)for surface copper species,especially promotes the production of Cu+species originated from Cu-ZrO2 species at the interface of copper and zirconia particles.In comparison with Cu+species formed from copper phyllosilicates reduction,the Cu+sites derived from Cu-ZrO2 species show higher adsorption ability of MG,an important intermediate species in ethylene glycol production.These adsorbed MG molecules further react with atomic hydrogen shifted from adjacent metallic copper surface,leading to a higher catalytic behavior.For the EG production via DMO hydrogenation,the turnover frequency(TOF)normalized by CuO species on CuZr/SiO2 catalyst is 1.8 times than that of traditional Cu/SiO2 counterpart.Due to the enhanced synergy effect between Cu+and Cuo active sites,a lower activation energy of ester hydrogenation on this ZrO2-doped Cu/SiO2 catalyst is believed to be responsible for the significant improvement.Yujun Zhao Huanhuan Zhang Yuxi Xu Shengnian Wang Yan Xu Shengping Wang Xinbin Ma 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:5
4Comparison of in vitro digestion methods for determining bioaccessibility of Hg in rice of China显示文摘Rice consumption can be a major pathway for mercury(Hg) exposure, which can cause health hazards to Chinese residents. To accurately assess the potential health risks, the bioaccessibility of Hg in rice samples collected at background and Hg-contamination sites was examined using four in vitro methods. The results showed that < 50% of the total mercury(THg) was bioaccessible in the studied rice samples. The THg bioaccessibility in the rice samples collected at the Hg-contaminated site was higher than that observed at the background area. The bioaccessibility of arsenic(As) and cadmium(Cd) was also evaluated for comparison of the four in vitro methods used in this study. The Physiologically Based Extraction Test was found to be the most accurate method based on the consistency of the results compared to those reported in previous studies. The estimated daily intakes of THg via rice consumption using the bioaccessibility data were found to meet the recommendation value set by the JECFA and the WHO in both sites. 5New ZnCe catalyst encapsulated in SBA-15 in the production of 1,3-butadiene from ethanol显示文摘ZnO-CeO2/SBA-15 catalysts were prepared by two kinds of solid-state grinding method and used for the production of 1,3-butadiene(1,3-BD) from ethanol.A mixture of SBA-15(with or without organic template) and metal precursors were ground in solid-state.The obtained catalysts were characterized by TG,N2 adsorption-desorption,TEM,XRD,Py-FTIR and NH_3-TPD techniques.Superior dispersion of metal oxides and more exposed acid sites were achieved on the catalyst lOZn_1Ce_5-AS with the presence of organic template in SBA-15 during the solid-state grinding process.The catalytic performance was evaluated in a fixed-bed reactor and a 1,3-butadiene selectivity of as high as 45% is achieved.This is attributed to the coupling effect of Zn and Ce species in the mesopores of SBA-15,in which Zn promotes ethanol dehydrogenation and Ce enhances aldol-condensation,respectively.Additionally,solvent-free method inspires new catalyst synthesis strategy for the production of 1,3-butadiene from ethanol.Yujun Zhao Sijia Li Zheng Wang Shengnian Wang Shengping Wang Xinbin Ma 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,2:3

9Controllable Fe/HCS catalysts in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis: Effects of crystallization time显示文摘The Fischer--Tropsch synthesis(FTS)con-tinues to be an attractive alternative for producing a broad range of fuels and chemicals through the conversion of syngas(H2 and CO),which can be derived from various sources,such as coal,natural gas,and biomass.Among iron carbides,Fe2C,as an active phase,has barely been studied due to its thermodynamic instability.Here,we fabricated a series of Fe2C embedded in hollow carbon sphere(HCS)catalysts.By varying the crystallization time,the shell thickness of the HCS was manipulated,which significantly influenced the catalytic performance in the FTS.To investigate the relationship between the geometric structure of the HCS and the physic-chemical properties of Fe species,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,N2 physical adsorption,X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy,hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction,Raman spectroscopy,and Mossbauer spectro-scopy techniques were employed to characterize the catalysts before and after the reaction.Evidently,a suitable thickness of the carbon layer was beneficial for enhancing the catalytic activity in the FTS due to its high porosity,appropriate electronic environment,and relatively high Fe2C content.Yifei Wang Shouying Huang Xinsheng Teng Hongyu Wang Jian Wang Qiao Zhao Yue Wang Xinbin Ma 2020Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,5:2
10Efficient MgO-doped CaO sorbent pellets for high temperature CO_(2) capture显示文摘Novel MgO-doped CaO sorbent pellets were prepared by gel-casting and wet impregnation.The effect of Na^(+) and MgO on the structure and CO_(2) adsorption performance of CaO sorbent pellets was elucidated.MgOdoped CaO sorbent pellets with the diameter range of 0.5-1.5 mm exhibited an excellent capacity for CO_(2) adsorption and adsorption rate due to the homogeneous dispersion of MgO in the sorbent pellets and its effects on the physical structure of sorbents.The results show that MgO can effectively inhibit the sintering of CaO and retain the adsorption capacity of sorbents during multiple adsorption-desorption cycles.The presence of mesopores and macropores resulted in appreciable change of volume from CaO(16.7 cm^(3)·mol^(-1))to CaCO3(36.9 cm^(3)·mol^(-1))over repeated operation cycles.Ca2Mg1 sorbent pellets exhibited favorable CO_(2) capture capacity(9.49 mmol·g^(-1)),average adsorption rate(0.32 mmol·g^(-1)·min^(-1)) and conversion rate of CaO(74.83%) after 30 cycles.Zhihong Xu Tao Jiang Hao Zhang Yujun Zhao Xinbin Ma Shengping Wang 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3:2

19Partitioning of rare earth elements and yttrium(REY)in five coal-fired power plants in Guizhou,Southwest China显示文摘As indispensable strategic materials for high-tech industries,rare earth elements and yttrium(REY)have become particularly important in recent years,raising the demand of developing new approaches for reclamation of REY from REY-rich materials such as coal combustion products(CCPs).In this study,five coal-fired power plants(CFPPs)in Guizhou of southwest China were selected for investigating REY concentrations of solid samples,atmospheric emissions,and recovery potentials.REY concentrations of feed fuels are higher in this study(147.2-468.6 mg/kg)than what have been reported previously for coals in China and the world.REY atmospheric emissions are extremely low(38.70-180.11 mg REY/t coal).REY are enriched in bottom ash and fly ash,with average of 658±296 mg/kg and maximum of 1257 mg/kg from the five CFPPs.Relative enrichment factors(REF)of REY in bottom ash and fly ash compared with the feed fuel are 0.86-1.02 and 0.91-1.04,respectively.REY concentrations in desulfurized gypsum are very low(6-17 mg/kg),and that is mostly inherited from limestone.Critical REY(Nd,Eu,Tb,Dy,Y,and Er)in bottom/fly ash account for 34%-39%of the total REY and the outlook coefficients(Cout1)are in the range of 0.89-1.11.This study indicates a promising prospect to reclaim REY from REYrich CCPs(bottom and fly ash)in CFPPs in Guizhou,especially in the central-north Guizhou,although such practices require further technology advancement.Zhonggen Li Xinyu Li Leiming Zhang Shan Li Ji Chen Xinbin Feng Dongbo Zhao Qingfeng Wang Zhixi Gao Bailian Xiong 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,11:1
