| 1 | Joint User Scheduling and Antenna Selection in Distributed Massive MIMO Systems with Limited Backhaul Capacity显示文摘Massive MIMO systems offer a high spatial resolution that can drastically increase the spectral and/or energy efficiency by employing a large number of antennas at the base station(BS).In a distributed massive MIMO system,the capacity of fiber backhaul that links base station and remote radio heads is usually limited,which becomes a bottleneck for realizing the potential performance gain of both downlink and uplink.To solve this problem,we propose a joint antenna selection and user scheduling which is able to achieve a large portion of the potential gain provided by the massive MIMO array with only limited backhaul capacity.Three sub-optimal iterative algorithms with the objective of sumrate maximization are proposed for the joint optimization of antenna selection and user scheduling,either based on greedy fashion or Frobenius-norm criteria.Convergence and complexity analysis are presented for the algorithms.The provided Monte Carlo simulations show that,one of our algorithms achieves a good tradeoff between complexity and performance and thus is especially fit for massive MIMO systems. | XU Guozhen LIU An JIANG Wei XIANG Haige LUO Wu | 2014 | China Communications2014,11,5: | 9 |
| 2 | An analytic solution describing the visco-elastic deformation of coal pillars in room and pillar mine显示文摘Coal pillar deformation is typically nonlinear and time-dependent. The accurate prediction of this defor- mation has a vital importance for the successful implementation of mining techniques. These methods have proven very important as a way to excavate coal resources from under buildings, railways, or water bodies. Elastic and visco-elastic theory are employed with a Maxwell model to formulate an analytic solution for displacement of coal pillars in room and pillar mine. These results show that the visco-elastic solution adequately predicts the coal pillar deformation over time. We conclude that the visco-elastic solution can predict the coal pillar and roadway displacement from the measured geological parameters of the conditions in situ. | 3 | Energy-Efficient Beamforming for Two-Tier Massive MIMO Downlink显示文摘Heterogeneous networks(HetNets)consisting of macro cells with very large antenna arrays and a secondary tier of small cells with a few antennas each can well tackle the contradiction of large coverage of the network and high data rate at the hot spots.However,it is not permissible to assign orthogonal pilot sequences for all the supported users due to the large number.Hence,we propose a pilot reduction scheme based on the heterogeneous system configurations and the unique topology of this HetNet.The reusing of pilot sequences causes the presence of the contaminated channel state information(CSI) and results in receivers' Quality of Service(QoS) outage.With the contaminated CSI,we provide an energy-efficient beamforming based on minimizing the total power consumption while keeping the QoS constraints satisfied and restricting the QoS outage probability below a given specification.By applying the approach of Bernstein approximation and semi-definite relaxation,we transform the original intractable chance constrained program to a convex problem conservatively.Numerical results show that the average power consumption of the proposed beamforming for our pilot reduction scheme is close to that of the perfect CSI case.Since our scheme will greatly compress the length of pilot sequence especially for those highly densified network with large number of small cells,it will be crucially helpful to put such two-tier massive multiple-input and multiple-output(MIMO) systems into practice. | XU Guozhen LIU An JIANG Wei XIANG Haige LUO Wu | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,10: | 3 |
| 4 | Valency Study of Vanadium in Stone Coal of Southern China显示文摘Vanadium-bearing stone coal is a new resource of vanadium. V in stone coal mainly exists in three oxidation states: 7.84%V(Ⅲ), 72.08% Ⅴ(Ⅳ) and 20.08% Ⅴ(Ⅴ). The change and distribution of valency of Ⅴ during oxidizing roasting shows that organicmatter in the coal determines valency of Ⅴ at low temperature; at about 450℃, Ⅴ(Ⅲ) is completely oxidized to Ⅴ(Ⅳ); above500℃, temperature is the most important factor for the oxidation of Ⅴ. At 700~1000℃, 92% of Ⅴ in the coal has been oxidizedto Ⅴ(Ⅴ), at still higher temperature no more oxidation of Ⅴ takes place, an equilibrium being established. The roles of NaCl in therecovery of V2O5 from the coal were discussed. | 5 | A risk-prediction score for colorectal lesions on 12,628 participants at high risk of colorectal cancer显示文摘Background The uptake of colonoscopy is low in individuals at risk of colorectal cancer(CRC).We constructed a riskprediction score(RPS)in a large community-based sample at high risk of CRC to enable more accurate risk stratification and to motivate and increase the uptake rate of colonoscopy.Methods A total of 12,628 participants classified as high-risk according to positivity of immunochemical fecal occult blood tests or High-Risk Factor Questionnaire underwent colonoscopy.Logistic regression was used to derive a RPS and analysed the associations of the RPS with colorectal lesions,giving odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results Of the participants,men(OR=1.73,95%CI=1.58–1.90),older age(≥65 years;1.41,1.31–1.53),higher body mass index(≥28 kg/m^(2);1.22,1.07–1.39),ever smoking(1.47,1.31–1.65),and weekly alcohol use(1.28,1.09–1.52)were associated with a higher risk of colorectal lesions.We assigned 1 point to each of the above five risk factors and derived a RPS ranging from 0 to 5,with a higher score indicating a higher risk.Compared with a RPS of 0,a RPS of 1,2,3,and 4–5 showed a higher risk of colorectal lesions,with the OR(95%CI)being 1.50(1.37–1.63),2.34(2.12–2.59),3.58(3.13–4.10),and 3.91(3.00–5.10),respectively.The area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve of RPS in predicting colorectal lesions was 0.62.Conclusions Participants with an increase in the RPS of≥1 point had a significantly higher risk of colorectal lesions,suggesting the urgency for measuring colonoscopy in this very high-risk group.High-risk strategies incorporating RPS may be employed to achieve a higher colonoscopy-uptake rate. | Lixin Liang Yingru Liang Ke Li Pengzhe Qin Guozhen Lin Yan Li Huan Xu Suixiang Wang Qinlong Jing Boheng Liang Lin Xu | 2022 | Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1: | 2 |

| 14 | Aristolochic acids exposure was not the main cause of liver tumorigenesis in adulthood显示文摘Aristolochic acids(AAs) have long been considered as a potent carcinogen due to its nephrotoxicity. Aristolochic acid I(AAI) reacts with DNA to form covalent aristolactam(AL)-DNA adducts,leading to subsequent A to T transversion mutation, commonly referred as AA mutational signature. Previous research inferred that AAs were widely implicated in liver cancer throughout Asia. In this study, we explored whether AAs exposure was the main cause of liver cancer in the context of HBV infection in China's Mainland. Totally 1256 liver cancer samples were randomly retrieved from 3 medical centers and a refined bioanalytical method was used to detect AAI-DNA adducts. 5.10% of these samples could be identified as AAI positive exposure. Whole genome sequencing suggested 8.41% of 107 liver cancer patients exhibited the dominant AA mutational signature, indicating a relatively low overall AAI exposure rate. In animal models, long-term administration of AAI barely increased liver tumorigenesis in adult mice, opposite from its tumor-inducing role when subjected to infant mice. Furthermore, AAI induced dose-dependent accumulation of AA-DNA adduct in target organs in adult mice, with the most detected in kidney instead of liver.
