1Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of 2019 novel coronavirus infection in children: experts' consensus statement显示文摘Since the outbreak of 2019 novel coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV) in Wuhan City,China,by January 30,2020,a total of 9692 confirmed cases and 15,238 suspected cases have been reported around 31 provinces or cities in China.Among the confirmed cases,1527 were severe cases,171 had recovered and been discharged at home,and 213 died.And among these cases,a total of 28 children aged from 1 month to 17 years have been reported in China.For standardizing prevention and management of 2019-nCoV infections in children,we called up an experts' committee to formulate this experts' consensus statement.This statement is based on the Novel Coronavirus Infection Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Standards (the fourth edition) (National Health Committee) and other previous diagnosis and treatment strategies for pediatric virus infections.The present consensus statement summarizes current strategies on diagnosis,treatment,and prevention of 2019-nCoV infection in children.Kunling Shen Yonghong Yang Tianyou Wang Dongchi Zhao Yi Jiang Runming Jin Yuejie Zheng Baoping Xu Zhengde Xie Likai Lin Yunxiao Shang Xiaoxia Lu Sainan Shu Yan Bai Jikui Deng Min Lu Leping Ye Xuefeng Wang Yongyan Wang Liwei Gao 2020World Journal of Pediatrics2020,16,3:56
2Performance value of high risk factors in colorectal cancer screening in China显示文摘AIM:To analyze the performance value of high risk factors in population-based colorectal cancer(CRC) screening in China.METHODS:We compared the performance value of the immunochemical fecal occult blood test(iFOBT) and other high risk factors questionnaire in a population sample of 13 214 community residents who completed both the iFOBT and questionnaire investigation.Patients with either a positive iFOBT and/or questionnaire were regarded as a high risk population and those eligible were asked to undergo colonoscopy.RESULTS:The iFOBT had the highest positive predictive value and negative predictive value in screening for advanced neoplasia.The iFOBT had the highest sensitivity,lowest number of extra false positive results associated with the detection of one extra abnormality for screening advanced neoplasias and adenomas.A history of chronic cholecystitis or cholecystectomy,chronic appendicitis or appendectomy,and chronic diarrhea also had a higher sensitivity than a history of adenomatous polyps in screening for advanced neoplasias and adenomas.The sensitivity of a history of chronic cholecystitis or cholecystectomy was highest among the 10 high risk factors in screening for nonadenomatous polyps.A history of chronic appendicitis or appendectomy,chronic constipation,chronic diarrhea,mucous and bloody stool,CRC in first degree relatives,malignant tumor and a positive iFOBT also had higher sensitivities than a history of adenomas polyps in screening for non-adenomatous polyps.Except for a history of malignant tumor in screening for non-adenomatous polyps,the gain in sensitivity was associated with an increase in extra false positive results associated with the detection of one extra abnormality.CONCLUSION:The iFOBT may be the best marker for screening for advanced neoplasias and adenomas.Some unique high risk factors may play an important role in CRC screening in China.Wen Meng Shan-Rong Cai Lun Zhou Qi Dong Shu Zheng Su-Zhan Zhang 2009World Journal of Gastroenterology2009,15,48:41
3Prevalence of Atrial Fibrillation in China and Its Risk Factors显示文摘Objective To study the prevalence of atrial fibrillation(AF)and the relation with its risk factors in China.Methods A total of 19 363 participants(8635 males and 10 728 females) aged ≥35 years in geographically dispersed urban and rural regions of China were included in this cross-sectional survey.All participants received questionnaire,physical and blood examination.Echocardiography were performed for AF patients found in the survey.Results Of the 19 363 participants,199 were diagnosed with AF.The estimated age-standardized prevalence of AF was 0.78% in men and 0.76% in women.The prevalence of AF in participants aged <60 years was 0.41% in men and 0.43% in women,and was 1.83% in both men and women aged ≥60 years.About 19.0% of males and 30.9% of females with AF were diagnosed with valve disease.Age-and sex-adjusted multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that myocardial infarction,left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH),obesity,and alcohol consumption were associated with a increased risk of AF(P<0.05).Conclusion The age standardized prevalence of AF is 0.77% in the participants enrolled in the present study.The number of AF cases aged ≥35 years is 5.26 million according to 2010 Chinese Census.Most risk factors for AF,identified mainly in Western countries,are also detected in China.LI Ying WU Yang Feng CHEN Ke Ping LI Xian ZHANG Xing XIE Gao Qiang WANG Fang Zheng ZHANG Shu 2013Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013,26,9:48
4Reduction of the incidence and mortality of rectal cancer bypolypectomy:a prospective cohort study in Haining County显示文摘AIM: To reduce the incidence and morlality of rectal cancerand address the hypothesis that colorectal cancer often arisefrom precursor lesion (s), either adenomas or non-alenomatous polyps, by conducting a population-basedmass screening for colorectal cancer in Haining County,Zhejiang, PRCMETHODS: From 1977 to 1980, physicians screened thepopulation of Haining County using 15 cm rigid endoscopy.Of over 240 000 participants, 4076 of them were diagnoselwith Precursor Iesions, eitler alenomas or non-adenomatous polyps, which were then removedl surgically.All individuals with precursor lesionswere followed up andreexamined by endoscopy every two to five years upto 1998.RESULTS: After the initial screening, 953 metactronousadenomas and 417 non-adenomatous polyps ware detected andremoved from the members of this cohort. Further, 27 cases ofcolorectal cancer were detected and treated. Log-rank tuestsshowed that the survival time among those cancer patients whounderwent mass screening increased significantly comparedtothat of other colorectal cancer patients (P < 0.0001). 5Clinical significance of vascular endothelial growth factor expression and neovascularization in colorectal carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To clarify the association of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and microvascular density (MVD) expression with the angiogenesis and prognosis of colorectal cancer.METHODS: A total of 97 cases of colorectal cardnomas were examined by immunohistochemical staining (SP method), using anti-VEGF and anti-factor CD34^+ monodonal antibodies,RESULTS: VEGF positive staining was obtained in 68 out of 97 cases (70.1%), and observed mainly in the cytoplasm of tumor cells, and also frequently in stromal cells. VEGF expression was more intense in poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma in comparison with others, but there was no significant correlation between VEGF expression and age,sex and stage. A significant correlation was found between the MVD and grades, and there was no significant relationship between the MVD and age, sex, and stage. The MVD in the VEGF positive group (68 cases) was higher than that in the negative group. 6Application of serum protein fingerprinting coupled with artificial neural network model in diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Background Hepatocellular carcinoma tends to present at a late clinical stage with poor prognosis. Therefore, it is urgent to explore and develop a simple, rapid diagnostic method, which has high sensitivity and specificity for hepatocellular carcinoma at an early stage. In this study, the serum proteins in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma or liver cirrhosis and in normal controls were analysed. Surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass (SELDI-TOF-MS) spectrometry was used to fingerprint serum protein using the protein chip technique and explore the value of the fingerprint, coupled with artificial neural network, to diagnose hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods Of the 106 serum samples obtained, 52 were from patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, 22 from patients with liver cirrhosis and 32 from healthy volunteers. The samples were randomly assigned into a training group ( n =70, 35 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, 14 with liver cirrhosis, and 21 normal controls) and a testing group ( n =36, 17 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, 8 with liver cirrhosis, and 11 normal controls). An artificial neural network was trained on data from 70 individuals in the training group to develop an artificial neural network diagnostic model and this model was tested. The 36 sera in the testing group were analysed with blind prediction by using the same flowchart and procedure of data collection. The 36 serum protein spectra were clustered with the preset clustering method and the same mass/charge ( M/Z ) peak values as those in the training group. Matrix transfer was performed after data were output. Then the data were input into the previously built artificial neural network model to get the prediction value. The M/Z peaks of the samples with more than 2000 M/Z were normalized with biomarker wizard of ProteinChip Software version 3.1 for noise filtering. The first threshold for noise filtering was set at 5, and the second was set at 2. The 10% was the minimum threshold for clustering. The statistical analysis of the data of serum protein mass spectrum was performed in the groups (normal vs. hepatocellular carcinoma, and liver cirrhosis vs. hepatocellular carcinoma) with the t test. Results Comparison between the groups of hepatocellular carcinoma and normal control: The mass spectra from 56 samples (hepatocellular carcinoma and normal controls) in the training group were analysed and 241 peaks were obtained. In addition, 21 peaks from them were used for comparison between the groups of hepatocellular carcinoma and normal controls ( P <0.01). Only 2 peaks at 3015 M/Z and 5900 M/Z were selected with significant difference ( P <10 -9). A model was developed based on these two proteins with different M/Z . It was confirmed that this artificial neural network model can be used for comparison between the groups of hepatocellular carcinoma and normal controls. The sensitivity was 100% (17/17), and the specificity was 100% (11/11). Comparison between the groups of hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis: The mass spectra from 49 samples in the training group (including patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis) were analysed and 208 peaks were obtained. In addition, 21 peaks from them were used for comparison between the groups of hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis ( P <0.01). Only 2 peaks at 7759 M/Z , 13134 M/Z were selected with significant difference ( P <10 -9). A model was developed based on these two proteins with dfferent M/Z . It was confirmed that this artificial neural network model can be used for comparison between the groups of hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis. 8Clinical significance of K-ras and BRAF mutations in Chinese colorectal cancer patients显示文摘AIM:To identify and assess mutations in the K-ras and BRAF genes in a cohort of Chinese patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) for their association with various clinicopathological parameters and prognosis.METHODS:Genomic DNA was isolated from frozen tissues.Pyrosequencing analysis was conducted to detect mutations in the K-ras (codons 12,13,and 61) and BRAF genes (codon 600).Statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS-15.0 software.RESULTS:Among the 118 colorectal cancer patients,we detected 41 (34.7%) mutations in the K-ras gene.Mutation frequencies at codon 12 and codon 13 were 23.7% (28/118) and 10.2% (12/118),respectively.Only one patient harbored a point mutation at codon 61 (0.8%,1/118).Gender was the only factor that showed an obvious relationship with K-ras gene mutation (female 44.7% vs male 28.2%,P=0.037).Other clinicopathological features,such as age,location of the tumor,tumor differentiation,Tumor,Node and Metastases classification,and the Union for International Cancer Control staging,showed no positive relationship with K-ras gene mutations.No significant correlation was observed between the presence of K-ras mutations (codons 12,13,and 61) and the survival of the patients.BRAF mutations were rare,and only two patients (1.7%) harbored a detectable mutation at codon 600.CONCLUSION:K-ras gene mutation is a common event in our 118 Chinese CRC patients,with an obvious relationship with gender.However,it seems not to be an independent prognostic factor in CRC patients.The BRAF gene is rarely mutated in Chinese CRC patients.Hong Shen Ying Yuan Han-Guang Hu Xiao-Xian Ye Mo- Dan Li Xian Zhong Wei-Jia Fang Shu Zheng 2011World Journal of Gastroenterology2011,17,6:29

10Quantitative real-time RT-PCR detection for CEA, CK20 and CK19 mRNA in peripheral blood of colorectal cancer patients显示文摘This study is aimed at establishing a sensitive approach to detect disseminated tumor cells in peripheral blood and evaluate its clinical significance. A total of 198 blood samples including 168 from colorectal carcinoma (CRC) patients and 30 from healthy volunteers were examined by quantitative real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to evaluate the expression of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), cytokeratin 20 (CK20) and cytokeratin 19 (CK19) mRNA. CEA mRNA was detected in 35.8% of patients and 3.3% of controls, CK20 mRNA in 28.3% of patients and 6.7% of controls, and CK19 mRNA in 41.9% of patients and 3.3% of controls. CEA and CK20 mRNA positive ratio increased with the advancing Dukes stages, but there was no significant difference in positive ratio between any two stages (P>0.05). Also, relatively high positive ratio of CEA, CK20 and CK19 mRNA expression was observed in some CRC patients with earlier Dukes stages. A higher positive ratio was obtained when two or three detection markers were combined compared to a single marker. 11Isolation,characterization,and phylogenic analysis of three new severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome bunyavirus strains derived from Hubei Province,China显示文摘Hubei Province is a major epidemic area of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome bunyavirus(SFTSV) in China. However, to date, a few SFTSV strains have been isolated from Hubei Province, preventing effective studies of epidemic outbreaks. Here, we report three confirmed patients(2015–2016) with typical symptoms of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome disease(SFTS) who were farmers resident in different regions in Hubei Province. Three new SFTSV strains were isolated from the serum samples of each patient. Characterization of viral growth properties showed that there were no significant differences in virus production. All strains were completely sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis showed that unlike the other strains from Hubei province, which belonged to the SFTSV C3 genotype, one of the three strains belonged to the SFTSV C2 genotype. 12Laser altimetry data of Chang'E-1 and the global lunar DEM model显示文摘The Laser AltiMeter (LAM), as one of the main payloads of Chang'E-1 probe, is used to measure the topography of the lunar surface. It performed the first measurement at 02:22 on November 28th, 2007. Up to December 4th 2008, the total number of measurements was approximately 9.12 million, covering the whole surface of the Moon. Using the LAM data, we constructed a global lunar Digtal Elevation Model (DEM) with 3 km spatial resolution. The model shows pronounced morphological characteristics, legible and vivid details of the lunar surface. The plane positioning accuracy of the DEM is 445 m (1σ), and the vertical accuracy is 60 m (1σ). From this DEM model, we measured the full range of the altitude difference on the lunar sur-face, which is about 19.807 km. The highest point is 10.629 km high, on a peak between crater Korolev and crater Dirichlet-Jackson at (158.656°W, 5.441°N) and the lowest point is -9.178 km in height, inside crater Antoniadi (172.413°W, 70.368°S) in the South Pole-Aitken Basin. 13Ursolic acid inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of HT-29 colon cancer cells by inhibiting the EGFR/MAPK pathway显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effects of ursolic acid on the proliferation and apoptosis of human HT-29 colon cancer cells. Methods: 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) and flow cytometry assays were performed to evaluate the effects of ursolic acid on the growth and apoptosis of HT-29 cells. Western blot analysis was applied to investigate the inhibitory effects of ursolic acid on the phosphorylation of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK), and the activity of B cell leukemia-2 (Bcl-2), B cell leukemia-xL (Bcl-xL), caspase-3, and caspase-9. Results: Ursolic acid inhibited the growth of HT-29 cells in dose- and time-dependent manners. The median inhibition concentration (IC50) values for 24, 48, and 72 h treatment were 26, 20, and 18 μmol/L, respectively. The apoptotic rates of 10, 20, and 40 μmol/L ursolic acid treatments for 24 h were 5.74%, 14.49%, and 33.05%, and for 48 h were 9%, 21.39%, and 40.49%, respectively. Ursolic acid suppressed the phosphorylation of EGFR, ERK1/2, p38 MAPK, and JNK, which is well correlated with its growth inhibitory effect. 10, 20, and 40 μmol/L ursolic acid significantly inhibited the proliferation of EGF-stimulated HT-29 cells (P<0.05). Cell proliferation was most significantly inhibited when treated with 10 and 20 μmol/L ursolic acid combined with 200 nmol/L AG 1478 or 10 μmol/L U0126 (P<0.01). Besides, it also down-regulated the expression of Bcl-2 and Bcl-xL and activated caspase-3 and caspase-9. 14Apoptosis induction with polo-like kinase-1 antisense phosph-orothioate oligodeoxynucleotide of colon cancer cell line SW480显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effects of polo-like kinase-1 (PLK1) antisense phosphorothioate oligodeoxynucleotide (ASODN) on apoptosis and cell cycle of human colon cancer cell line 5W480.METHODS: After SW480 colon cancer cells were transfected with PLK1 ASODN, Northern and Western blot analyses were used to examine PLK1 gene expression in cancer cells. We studied apoptosis using terminal uridine deoxynucleotidyl nick end labeling. Apoptosis and cell cycle of SW480 cells were examined by fluorescence-activated cell sorter scan.RESULTS: The levels of PLK1 mRNA and protein were greatly inhibited by PLK1 ASODN in SW480 cancer cells transfected with PLK1 ASODN. 15SPARCL1, Shp2, MSH2, E-cadherin, p53, ADCY-2 and MAPK are prognosis-related in colorectal cancer显示文摘AIM: To investigate the expression of markers that are correlated with the prognosis of colorectal cancer (CRC) patients. METHODS: One hundred and fifty-six CRC patientswere followed up for more than 3 years after radical surgery. Immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis was performed to detect the expression of 14 pathway-related markers (p53, APC, p21ras, E-cadherin, endothelin-B receptor, Shp2, ADCY-2, SPARCL1, neuroligin1, hsp27, mmp-9, MAPK, MSH2 and rho) in specimens from these patients. Bioinformatics analysis involving a Support Vector Machine (SVM) was used to determine the best prognostic model from combinations of these markers. RESULTS: Seven markers (SPARCL1, Shp2, MSH2, E-cadherin, p53, ADCY-2 and MAPK) were significantly related to the prognosis and clinical pathological features of the CRC patients (P < 0.05). Prognostic models were established through SVM from combinations of these 7 markers and proved able to differentiate patients with dissimilar survival, especially in stage Ⅱ/Ⅲ patients. According to the best prognostic model, the p53/SPARCL1 model, patients having high p53 and low SPARCL1 expression had about 50% lower 3-year survival than others (P < 0.001). CONCLUSION: SPARCL1, Shp2, MSH2, E-cadherin, p53, ADCY-2 and MAPK are potential prognostic markers in CRC. 16Eclogite-melt/peridotite reaction: Experimental constrains on the destruction mechanism of the North China Craton显示文摘To study the mechanism of melt-peridotite reaction pertinent to the destruction of the North China Craton (NCC) lithosphere, a series of experiments were performed at a pressure of 2.0 GPa and temperatures from 1250 to 1400°C using Bixiling eclogite and Damaping peridotite as starting materials. The experimental results show that the reaction between eclogite melt and peridotite causes dissolution of olivine and orthopyroxene and precipitation of clinopyroxene in the melt. The experimental run products, characterized by a lherzolite/pyroxenite/garnet-pyroxenite sequence, are consistent with the mantle xenoliths in the Neogene Hannuoba basalt of the NCC found by Liu et al. (2005). It suggests that the mafic lower continental crust was probably recycled into the mantle during the Mesozoic Era. In the experiments conducted at 1300 and 1350°C, the resulting melts have a high Mg# andesite signature, indicating that the melt-peridotite reaction may have played a major role in the generation of high Mg# andesite. Our experimental results support the hypothesis that melts derived from foundered eclogite in the asthenosphere will consume the lithospheric peridotites. 17Relative position determination of a lunar rover using high-accuracy multi-frequency same-beam VLBI显示文摘Multi-frequency same-beam VLBI means that two explorers with a small separation angle are simultaneously observed with the main beam of receiving antennas. In the same-beam VLBI, the differential phase delay between two explorers and two receiving telescopes can be obtained with a small error of several picoseconds. The differential phase delay, as the observable of the same-beam VLBI, gives the separation angular information of the two explorers in the celestial sphere. The two-dimensional relative position on the plane-of-sky can thus be precisely determined with an error of less than 1 m for a distance of 3.8×105 km far away from the earth, by using the differential phase delay obtained with the four Chinese VLBI stations. 18Preoperative assessment of hilar cholangiocarcinoma:combination of cholangiography and CT angiography显示文摘BACKGROUND:Hilar cholangiocarcinoma is one of the most difficult carcinomas to manage because of the location of the main tumor at the hepatic hilus and the complex anatomy of the biliary,arterial,and portal systems.To plan an operation,it is important to acquire accurate information about the relationship between hilar cholangiocarcinoma and adjacent vessels.This study aimed to evaluate the clinical value of cholangiography combined with spiral CT three-dimensional (3D)angiography for a preoperative assessment of hilar cholangiocarcinoma. METHODS:From March 2007 to August 2009,cholangiography was performed in 13 patients with hilar cholangiocarcinoma. Meanwhile,contrast-enhanced abdominal scanning was performed using 16-slice spiral CT,and the 3D images of the hepatic artery and portal vein were acquired.The level and range of invasion of the hepatic artery,the portal vein,and the bile duct,the preoperative Bismuth classification,and T-staging were recorded and compared with those after surgical exploration. RESULTS:The hepatic artery and portal vein were recon- structed successfully in all these patients.Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography was performed in 9 patients,endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in 1,and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography in 3.The CT angiography records of invasion of the hepatic artery were consistent with the results of explorations in these patients. The data from 5 of the 13 patients were consistent with those on invasion of the portal vein.The results of the Bismuth classification and the T-staging system were consistent with those of surgical exploration in 12 of the 13 patients.Seven of 8 patients who were estimated to be suitable for operation based on images were curatively treated and 5 who were judged to be unsuitable for curative operation by cholangiography and CT angiography were confirmed intraoperatively and underwent palliative procedures. 19A radiomic nomogram based on an apparent diffusion coefficient map for differential diagnosis of suspicious breast findings显示文摘Objective: To develop and validate a radiomic nomogram based on an apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) map for differentiating benign and malignant lesions in suspicious breast findings classified as Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System(BI-RADS) category 4 on breast magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Methods: Eighty-eight patients diagnosed with BI-RADS 4 findings on breast MRI in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from December 2014 to December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed in this study. Sixty-three were randomized electronically to establish forecasting models, and the other 25 were used for validation. Radiomic features based on the ADC map were generated automatically by Artificial Intelligence Kit software(A.K. software; GE Healthcare, China). Feature reduction was conducted using the Mann-Whitney test and Spearman correlation after pre-treatment. A prediction model of ADC radiomics was established by logistic linear regression and cross-validation. A nomogram was established based on ADC radiomic features,pharmacokinetics and clinical features, including the morphology and ADC value for breast BI-RADS 4 lesions on MRI.Results: A total of 396 radiomic features were extracted automatically by the A.K. software. Five features were selected after pre-processing, Mann-Whitney tests and Spearman correlation analysis. The area under the ROC curve of the prediction model comprising ADC radiomic features was 0.79 when the cutoff value was 0.45, and the accuracy, sensitivity and specificity were 80.0%, 0.813 and 0.778, respectively. A visualized differential nomogram based on the radiomic score, pharmacokinetics and clinical features was established. The decision curve showed good consistency.Conclusions: ADC radiomic features could provide an important reference for differential diagnosis between benign and malignant lesions in suspicious BI-RADS 4 lesions. 20Hemostatic effect of topical hemocoagulase spray in digestive endoscopy显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the hemostatic effect of topical hemocoagulase spray in digestive endoscopy.METHODS: Eighty-nine patients who developed oozing bleeding during endoscopic treatment from September 2014 to October 2014 at Center for Digestive Endoscopy, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital were randomly divided into either a study group(n = 39) or a control group(n = 50). The study group was given topical hemocoagulase spray intraoperatively, while the control group was given traditional 8% norepinephrine spray. Hemostatic efficacy was compared between the two groups. Bleeding site, wound cleanliness and perforation were recorded, and the rates of perforation and late bleeding were compared.RESULTS: Successful hemostasis was achieved in 39(100%) patients of the study group and in 47(94.0%) patients of the control group, and there was no significant difference in the rate of successful hemostasis between the two groups. Compared with the control group, after topical hemocoagulase spray in the study group, the surgical field was clearer, the bleeding site was more easily identified, and the wound was cleaner. There was no significant difference in the rate of perforation between the study and control groups(16.7% vs 35.0%, P = 0.477), but the rates oflate bleeding(0% vs 15.8%, P = 0.048) and overall complications(P = 0.032) were significantly lower in the study group.CONCLUSION: Topical hemocoagulase spray has a definite hemostatic effect for oozing bleeding in digestive endoscopy, and this method is convenient, safe, and reliable.
