| 1 | Radiotherapy combined with immunotherapy:the dawn of cancer treatment显示文摘Radiotherapy(RT)is delivered for purposes of local control,but can also exert systemic effect on remote and non-irradiated tumor deposits,which is called abscopal effect.The view of RT as a simple local treatment has dramatically changed in recent years,and it is now widely accepted that RT can provoke a systemic immune response which gives a strong rationale for the combination of RT and immunotherapy(iRT).Nevertheless,several points remain to be addressed such as the interaction of RT and immune system,the identification of the best schedules for combination with immunotherapy(IO),the expansion of abscopal effect and the mechanism to amplify iRT.To answer these crucial questions,we roundly summarize underlying rationale showing the whole immune landscape in RT and clinical trials to attempt to identify the best schedules of iRT.In consideration of the rarity of abscopal effect,we propose that the occurrence of abscopal effect induced by radiation can be promoted to 100%in view of molecular and genetic level.Furthermore,the“radscopal effect”which refers to using low-dose radiation to reprogram the tumor microenvironment may amplify the occurrence of abscopal effect and overcome the resistance of iRT.Taken together,RT could be regarded as a trigger of systemic antitumor immune response,and with the help of IO can be used as a radical and systemic treatment and be added into current standard regimen of patients with metastatic cancer. | Zengfu Zhang Xu Liu Dawei Chen Jinming Yu | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8: | 3 |
| 2 | Influence of Shot Peening Treatment on the Fatigue and Corrosion Resisting Properties of 2Cr13 Stainless Steel显示文摘In the present paper,shot peening treatments were used to strengthen the steel surface,and the influence on the fatigue and corrosion resisting properties of 2Cr13 stainless steel was examined.The residual stress and the surface roughness were investigated by XRD and AFM.The characteristics of fatigue and corrosion resistance have also been analyzed by bending fatigue and salt spray tests.The result reveals that the fatigue limit of the samples is improved dramatically with the increasing of the peening strength by 7.5%.Meanwhile,the peenging angle has no evident influence on the fatigue properties.Compared with the untreated samples,the acid corrosion weight loss of the samples after the shot peening treatment is decreased almost by 90%.From the above experimental results proper shot peening would improve not only the fatigue property but also the corrosion resistance of 2Cr13-typed stainless steel. | Liu Mingxia Zhang Haicun Liu Daoxin Han Zengfu Zhi Jinhua Guo Wenyong Zhou Yafeng | 2012 | 稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1: | 2 |
| 3 | p53-dependent upregulation of PIG3 transcription by γ-ray irradiation and its interaction with KAP1 in responding to DNA damage显示文摘PIG3 (p53-inducible gene 3), originally identified as one of a set of genes induced by p53 before the onset of apoptosis, was assumed to contribute to early cellular response to DNA damage. Here, we studied the relation between p53 status and the increased expression of PIG3 by ionizing radiation (IR), and the related clues regarding the involvement of PIG3 in the cellular response to IR-induced DNA damage signaling. We demonstrated that the pentanucleotide microsatellite sequence was responsible for the p53-dependent induction of PIG3 transcription after irradiation, while sequence upstream of PIG3 promoter could maintain the basal level of expression which was not inducible by irradiation. The interaction of PIG3 and the KRAB-ZFP-associated protein 1 (KAP1), a DNA damage response protein, was revealed. PIG3 nucleus foci were formed 15 min after γ-ray irradiation, and which were found to partially colocalize with the phospho-KAP-1 foci as well as γ-H2AX foci. Although the lac operator tagged EGFP based reporter system revealed that PIG3 does not remodel chromatin in large scale in the cells under normal growing condition, it indeed prompted the chromatin relaxation in the cellular response to DNA damage signaling. | 10 | Uncovering the magnetic response of open-shell graphene nanostructures on metallic surfaces at different doping levels显示文摘Open-shell graphene nanostructures(GNs)are promising candidates for future spintronics and quantum technologies.Recent progress based on on-surface synthetic approach has successfully created such GNs on metallic surfaces.Meanwhile,the doping effect of metallic surfaces is inevitably present and can significantly tune their electronic and magnetic properties.Here,we investigate the zigzag end states of open-shell 7-armchair graphene nanoribbons(7-AGNRs)on Au(111),Au(100)and Ag(111)surfaces.Combined with the manipulation of a scanning tunneling microscope,we demonstrate that the end states can be tuned from empty states to singly occupied states and to doubly occupied states by substrate doping.Furthermore,the singly occupied states can be finely tuned,with the occupancy number of the states and related magnetic behaviors uncovered by experiments at different temperatures and magnetic fields.Our results provide a comprehensive study of the magnetic response of open-shell GNs on metallic surfaces at different doping levels. | Zengfu Ou Jun Wang Jihai Zhang Yukang Ding Shenwei Chen Wenya Zhai Jingcheng Li Dingyong Zhong Donghui Guo | 2024 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,2: | 0 |
