| 1 | Study on the evolution of ore-formation fluids for Au-Sb ore deposits and the mechanism of Au-Sb paragenesis and differentiation in the southwestern part of Guizhou Province, China显示文摘Ore deposits (occurrences) of Au, As, Sb, Hg, etc. distributed in Southwest Guizhou constitute the important portion of the low-temperature metallogenic domain covering a large area in Southwest China, with the Carlin-type Au and Sb deposits being the most typical ones. In this paper the Au and Sb ore deposits are taken as the objects of study. Through the petrographic analysis, microthermomitric measurement and Raman spectrophic analysis of fluid inclusions in gangue minerals and research on the S and C isotopic compositions in the gold ore deposits we can reveal the sources of ore-forming materials and ore-forming fluids and the rules of ore fluid evolution. Ore deposits of Au, Sb, etc. are regionally classified as the products of ore fluid evolution, and their ore-forming materials and ore fluids were probably derived mainly from the deep interior of the Earth. Fluid inclusion studies have shown that the temperatures of Au mineralization are within the range of 170-361℃,the salinities are 0.35 wt%-8 wt% NaCl eq.; the temperatures of Sb mineralization are 129.4-214℃ and the salinities are 0.18 wt%- 3.23 wt% NaCl eq.; the ore-forming fluid temperatures and salinities tend to decrease progressively. In the early stage (Au metallogenic stage) the ore-forming fluids contained large amounts of volatile components such as CO2, CH4, N2 and H2S, belonging to the H2O-CO2-NaCl fluid system; in the late stage (Sb metallogenic stage) the ore-forming fluids belong to the Sb-bearing H2O-NaCl system. The primitive ore-forming fluids may have experienced at least two processes of immiscibility: (1) when early ore-bearing hydrothermal solutions passed through rock strata of larger porosity or fault broken zones, CO2, CH4, N2 would escape from them, followed by the release of pressure, resulting in pressure release and boiling of primitive homogenous fluids, thereafter giving rise to their phase separation, thus leading to Au unloading and mineralization; and (2) in the late stage (Sb metallogenic stage ) a large volume of meteoric water was involved in the ore-forming fluids, leading to fluid boiling as a result of their encounter, followed by the drop of fluid temperature. As a result, the dissolubility of Sb decreased so greatly that Sb was enriched and precipitated as ores. | 2 | Measuring Similarity of Academic Articles with Semantic Profile and Joint Word Embedding显示文摘Long-document semantic measurement has great significance in many applications such as semantic searchs, plagiarism detection, and automatic technical surveys. However, research efforts have mainly focused on the semantic similarity of short texts. Document-level semantic measurement remains an open issue due to problems such as the omission of background knowledge and topic transition. In this paper, we propose a novel semantic matching method for long documents in the academic domain. To accurately represent the general meaning of an academic article, we construct a semantic profile in which key semantic elements such as the research purpose, methodology, and domain are included and enriched. As such, we can obtain the overall semantic similarity of two papers by computing the distance between their profiles. The distances between the concepts of two different semantic profiles are measured by word vectors. To improve the semantic representation quality of word vectors, we propose a joint word-embedding model for incorporating a domain-specific semantic relation constraint into the traditional context constraint. | 3 | Spatial correlation-based characterization of acoustic emission signal-cloud in a granite sample by a cube clustering approach显示文摘To extract more in-depth information of acoustic emission(AE)signal-cloud in rock failure under triaxial compression,the spatial correlation of scattering AE events in a granite sample is effectively described by the cube-cluster model.First,the complete connection of the fracture network is regarded as a critical state.Then,according to the Hoshen-Kopelman(HK)algorithm,the real-time estimation of fracture con-nection is effectively made and a dichotomy between cube size and pore fraction is suggested to solve such a challenge of the one-to-one match between complete connection and cluster size.After,the 3D cube clusters are decomposed into orthogonal layer clusters,which are then transformed into the ellip-soid models.Correspondingly,the anisotropy evolution of fracture network could be visualized by three orthogonal ellipsoids and quantitatively described by aspect ratio.Besides,the other three quantities of centroid axis length,porosity,and fracture angle are analyzed to evaluate the evolution of cube cluster.The result shows the sample dilatancy is strongly correlated to four quantities of aspect ratio,centroid axis length,and porosity as well as fracture angle.Besides,the cube cluster model shows a potential pos-sibility to predict the evolution of fracture angle.So,the cube cluster model provides an in-depth view of spatial correlation to describe the AE signal-cloud. | Dongjie Xue Zepeng Zhang Cheng Chen Jie Zhou Lan Lu Xiaotong Sun Yintong Liu | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,4: | 5 |
| 4 | Instability characteristics of a co-rotating wingtip vortex pair based on bi-global linear stability analysis显示文摘The Stereo Particle Image Velocimetry(SPIV)technology is applied to measure the wingtip vortices generated by the up-down symmetrical split winglet.Then,the temporal biglobal Linear Stability Analysis(bi-global LSA)is performed on this nearly equal-strength corotating vortex pair,which is composed of an upper vortex(vortex-u)and a down vortex(vortex-d).The results show that the instability eigenvalue spectrum illustrated by(ωr,ω_(i))contains two types of branches:discrete branch and continuous branch.The discrete branch contains the primary branches of vortex-u and vortex-d,the secondary branch of vortex-d and coupled branch,of which all of the eigenvalues are located in the unstable half-plane ofω_(i)>0,indicating that the wingtip vortex pair is temporally unstable.By contrast,the eigenvalues of the continuous branch are concentrated on the half-plane ofω_(i)<0 and the perturbation modes correspond to the freestream perturbation.In the primary branches of vortex-u and vortex-d,Mode P_(u) and Mode Pd are the primary perturbation modes,which exhibit the structures enclosed with azimuthal wavenumber m and radial wavenumber n,respectively.Besides,the results of stability curves for vortex-u and vortex-d demonstrate that the instability growth rates of vortex-u are larger than those of vortex-d,and the perturbation energy of Mode P_(u) is also larger than that of Mode Pd.Moreover,the perturbation energy of Mode P_(u) is up to 0.02650 and accounts for 33.56%percent in the corresponding branch,thereby indicating that the instability development of wingtip vortex is dominated by Mode P_(u).By further investigating the topological structures of Mode P_(u) and Mode Pd with streamwise wavenumbers,the most unstable perturbation mode with a large azimuthal wavenumber of m=5-6 is identified,which imposes on the entire core region of vortex-u.This large azimuthal wavenumber perturbation mode can suggest the potential physical-based flow control strategy by manipulating it. | Zepeng CHENG Siyi QIU Yang XIANG Chun SHAO Miao ZHANG Hong LIU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,5: | 4 |
| 5 | Ultracompact dual-mode waveguide crossing based on subwavelength multimode-interference couplers显示文摘We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel ultracompact dual-mode waveguide crossing based on subwavelength multimode-interference couplers for a densely integrated on-chip mode-division multiplexing system.By engineering the lateral-cladding material index and manipulating phase profiles of light at the nanoscale using an improved inverse design method, a subwavelength structure could theoretically realize the identical beat length for both TE_0 and TE1, which can reduce the scale of the device greatly. The fabricated device occupied a footprint of only 4.8 μm× 4.8 μm. The measured insertion losses and crosstalks were less than 0.6 d B and-24 d B from 1530 nm to 1590 nm for both TE0 and TE1 modes, respectively. | 6 | Inhibition of p53 and/or AKT as a new therapeutic approach specifically targeting ALT cancers显示文摘While the majority of all human cancers court teract telomere shortening by expressing telomerase,-15%of all cancers maintain telomere length by a telomerase?independent mechanism known as alternative lengthening of telomeres(ALT).Here,we show that high load of intrinsic DNA damage is present in ALT cancer cells,leading to apoptosis stress by activating p53-independent,but JNK/c-IVIyc-dependent apoptotic pathway.Notably,ALT cells expressing wild-type p53 show much lower apoptosis than p53-deficient ALT cells.Mechanistically,we find that intrinsic DNA damage in ALT cells induces low level of p53 that is insufficient to initiate the transcription of apoptosis-related genes,but is sufficient to stimulate the expression of key components of mTORC2(mTOR and Rictor),which in turn leads to phosphorylation of AKT.Activated AKT(p-AKT)thereby stimulates downstream anti-apoptotic events.Therefore,p53 and AKT are the key factors that suppress sponta?neous apoptosis in ALT cells.Indeed,inhibition of p53 or AKT selectively induces rapid death of ALT cells in vitro,and p53 inhibitor severely suppresses the growth of ALT-cell xenograft tumors in mice.These findings reveal a previously unrecognized function of p53 in antiapoptosis and identify that the inhibition of p53 or AKT has a potential as therapeutics for specifically targeting ALT cancers. | Yuanlong Ge Shu Wu Zepeng Zhang Xiaocui Li Feng Li Siyu Yan Haiying Liu Junjiu Huang Yong Zhao | 2019 | Protein & Cell2019,10,11: | 2 |
| 7 | On-chip cyclic-AWG-based 12 × 12 silicon wavelength routing switches with minimized port-to-port insertion loss fluctuation显示文摘With the rapidly increasing bandwidth requirements of optical communication networks, compact and low-cost large-scale optical switches become necessary. Silicon photonics is a promising technology due to its small footprint, cost competitiveness, and high bandwidth density. In this paper, we demonstrate a 12 × 12 silicon wavelength routing switch employing cascaded arrayed waveguide gratings(AWGs) connected by a silicon waveguide interconnection network on a single chip. We optimize the connecting strategy of the crossing structure to reduce the switch's footprint. We develop an algorithm based on minimum standard deviation to minimize the port-toport insertion loss(IL) fluctuation of the switch globally. The simulated port-to-port IL fluctuation decreases by about 3 dB compared with that of the conventional one. The average measured port-to-port IL is 13.03 dB, with a standard deviation of 0.78 dB and a fluctuation of 2.39 dB. | 9 | Geological and geochemical characteristics of the Baogudi Carlintype gold district(Southwest Guizhou, China) and their geological implications显示文摘The newly discovered Baogudi gold district is located in the southwestern Guizhou Province,China,where there are numerous Carlin-type gold deposits.To better understand the geological and geochemical characteristics of the Baogudi gold district,we carried out petrographic observations,elemental analyses,and fluid inclusion and isotopic composition studies.We also compared the results with those of typical Carlin-type gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou.Three mineralization stages,namely,the sedimentation diagenesis,hydrothermal(main-ore and late-ore substages),and supergene stages,were identified based on field and petrographic observations.The main-ore and late-ore stages correspond to Au and Sb mineralization,respectively,which are similar to typical Carlin-type mineralization.The mass transfer associated with alteration and mineralization shows that a significant amount of Au,As,Sb,Hg,Tl,Mo,and S were added to mineralized rocks during the main-ore stage.Remarkably,arsenic,Sb,and S were added to the mineralized rocks during the late-ore stage.Element migration indicates that the sulfidation process was responsible for ore formation.Four types of fluid inclusions were identified in ore-related quartz and fluorite.The main-ore stage fluids are characterized by an H2O–NaCl–CO2–CH4±N2system,with medium to low temperatures(180–260℃)and low salinity(0–9.08%NaCl equivalent).The late-ore stage fluids featured H2O–NaCl±CO2±CH4,with low temperature(120–200℃)and low salinity(0–7.48%Na Cl equivalent).The temperature,salinity,and CO2and CH4concentrations of ore-forming fluids decreased from the main-ore stage to the late-ore stage.The calculated δ^13C,d D,and δ^18O values of the ore-forming fluids range from-14.3 to-7.0%,-76 to-55.7%,and 4.5–15.0%,respectively.Late-ore-stage stibnite had δ^34S values ranging from-0.6 to 1.9%.These stable isotopic compositions indicate that the ore-forming fluids originated mainly from deep magmatic hydrothermal fluids,with minor contributions from strata.Collectively,the Baogudi metallogenic district has geological and geochemical characteristics that are typical of Carlin-type gold deposits in southwest Guizhou.It is likely that the Baogudi gold district,together with other Carlin-type gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou,was formed in response to a single widespread metallogenic event. | Songtao Li Yong Xia Jianzhong Liu Zhuojun Xie Qinping Tan Yimeng Zhao Minghua Meng Lijin Tan Rong Nie Zepeng Wang Guanghong Zhou Haiyan Guo | 2019 | Acta Geochimica2019,38,4: | 1 |

| 11 | Decoration of C_(60) nanorods with nickel and their magnetic properties显示文摘We studied the coating of C60 nanorods with nickel by electroless plating method and investigated their magnetic properties. The morphology and structure of the nickel layer coated on C60 nanorods were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. The coated nickel is in the form of nano-sized crystals and becomes a continuous layer as reaction time increases. The hysteresis loop shows a super paramagnetic characteristic similar to that of nanometer-sized nickel particle. These results suggest that the average size of nickel particles on C60 rods is below 10 nm. | 12 | Kinetic Limits of Graphite Anode for Fast‑Charging Lithium‑Ion Batteries显示文摘Fast-charging lithium-ion batteries are highly required,especially in reducing the mileage anxiety of the widespread electric vehicles.One of the biggest bottlenecks lies in the sluggish kinetics of the Li^(+)intercalation into the graphite anode;slow intercalation will lead to lithium metal plating,severe side reactions,and safety concerns.The premise to solve these problems is to fully understand the reaction pathways and rate-determining steps of graphite during fast Li^(+)intercalation.Herein,we compare the Li^(+)diffusion through the graphite particle,interface,and electrode,uncover the structure of the lithiated graphite at high current densities,and correlate them with the reaction kinetics and electrochemical performances.It is found that the rate-determining steps are highly dependent on the particle size,interphase property,and electrode configuration.Insufficient Li^(+)diffusion leads to high polarization,incomplete intercalation,and the coexistence of several staging structures.Interfacial Li^(+)diffusion and electrode transportation are the main rate-determining steps if the particle size is less than 10μm.The former is highly dependent on the electrolyte chemistry and can be enhanced by constructing a fluorinated interphase.Our findings enrich the understanding of the graphite structural evolution during rapid Li^(+)intercalation,decipher the bottleneck for the sluggish reaction kinetics,and provide strategic guidelines to boost the fast-charging performance of graphite anode. | Suting Weng Gaojing Yang Simeng Zhang Xiaozhi Liu Xiao Zhang Zepeng Liu Mengyan Cao Mehmet Nurullah Ateş Yejing Li Liquan Chen Zhaoxiang Wang Xuefeng Wang | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11: | 1 |

| 14 | Effect of microbial fermentation on the sensory characteristics and chemical compositions of Chinese sweet tea(Lithocarpus litseifolius(Hance)Chun)显示文摘Sweet tea,which has hundreds of years of use among in Chinese folk,is a traditional herbal tea with pleasant sweetness,bitterness and astringency.In the current study,we used traditional microbial fermentation to improve sensory characteristics of sweet tea,especially for the reduction of bitterness and astringency.The dynamic changes of non-volatile,volatile compounds and microbial community were investigated during microbial fermentation.The contents of polyphenols,flavonoids,soluble sugar,soluble protein,catechins and dihydrochalcones decreased significantly while the tea pigments,free amino acids and gallic acid content inversely increased during microbial fermentation.A total of 61 volatile compounds were identified and quantified in sweet tea,of which 20 key compounds were identified as odor active compounds(OAV),including 3 aldehydes,1 ketone,4 alcohols,9 esters,4 alkenes and 3 other compounds.In addition,eight fungi and four bacteria were considered as core microorganisms,such as Aspergillus,Alternaria,Cladosporium,Epicoccum,Itersonilia,Penicillium,Periconia,Wallemia,Aureimonas,Enterobacter,Klebsiella and Stenotrophomonas,which were significantly correlated with non-volatile compounds and flavor compounds.These results provided theoretical guidance for processing of fermented sweet tea. | Weimin Huang Changyi Zhang Zepeng Gu Cheng Li Zhengfeng Fang Zhen Zeng Zhiqing Zhang Bin Hu Hong Chen Wenjuan Wu Tiqiang Wang Xiguo Lan Yuntao Liu | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,46,2: | 1 |
| 15 | Assessment of Lubrication Property and Machining Performance of Nanofluid Composite Electrostatic Spraying(NCES)Using Different Types of Vegetable Oils as Base Fluids of External Fluid显示文摘The current study of minimum quantity lubrication(MQL)concentrates on its performance improvement.By contrast with nanofluid MQL and electrostatic atomization(EA),the proposed nanofluid composite electrostatic spraying(NCES)can enhance the performance of MQL more comprehensively.However,it is largely influenced by the base fluid of external fluid.In this paper,the lubrication property and machining performance of NCES with different types of vegetable oils(castor,palm,soybean,rapeseed,and LB2000 oil)as the base fluids of external fluid were compared and evaluated by friction and milling tests under different flow ratios of external and internal fluids.The spraying current and electrowetting angle were tested to analyze the influence of vegetable oil type as the base fluid of external fluid on NCES performances.The friction test results show that relative to NCES with other vegetable oils as the base fluids of external fluid,NCES with LB2000 as the base fluid of external fluid reduced the friction coefficient and wear loss by 9.4%-27.7%and 7.6%-26.5%,respectively.The milling test results display that the milling force and milling temperature for NCES with LB2000 as the base fluid of external fluid were 1.4%-13.2%and 3.6%-11.2%lower than those for NCES with other vegetable oils as the base fluids of external fluid,respectively.When LB2000/multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT)water-based nanofluid was used as the external/internal fluid and the flow ratio of external and internal fluids was 2:1,NCES showed the best milling performance.This study provides theoretical and technical support for the selection of the base fluid of NCES external fluid. | Yu Su Zepeng Chu Le Gong Bin Wang Zhiqiang Liu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,4: | 0 |

| 17 | Texturing and evaluation of concrete pavement surface:A state-of-the-art review显示文摘Concrete pavement is accompanied by two major functional properties,namely noise emission and friction,which are closely related to pavement surface texture.While several technologies have been developed to mitigate tirepavement noise and improve driving friction by surface texturization,limited information is available to compare the advantages and disadvantages of different surface textures.In this study,a state-of-the-art and state-of-thepractice review is conducted to investigate the noise reduction and friction improvement technologies for concrete pavement surfaces.The commonly used tests for characterizing the surface texture,skid resistance,and noise emission of concrete pavement were first summarized.Then,the texturing methods for both fresh and hardened concrete pavement surfaces were discussed,and the friction,noise emission and durability performances of various surface textures were compared.It is found that the next generation concrete surface(NGCS)texture generally provides the best noise emission performance and excellent friction properties.The exposed aggregate concrete(EAC)and optimized diamond grinding textures are also promising alternatives.Lastly,the technical parameters for the application of both diamond grinding and diamond grinding&grooving textures were recommended based on the authors'research and practical experience in Germany and the US.This study offers a convenient reference to the pavement researchers and engineers who seek to quickly understand relevant knowledge and choose the most appropriate surface textures for concrete pavements. | Zhen Leng Zepeng Fan Pengfei Liu Jonas Kollmann Markus Oeser Dawei Wang Xi Jiang | 2023 | Journal of Road Engineering2023,3,3: | 0 |

With the vector projection as the main constraint condition of the target,it proposes a general form of the inverse kinematics solution which does not depend on the robot configuration of freedom degree. By identifying the target vector direction maximum and minimum workspace boundary and determining the destination vector by thick search on the workspace boundary method,an expressing method of the polar coordinate form of work space is then introduced. Finally,according to the form of plane trajectory planning for obstacle avoidance problem,the method of solving the inverse kinematics solution of the concave and convex forms of the safe obstacle avoidance area is improved. | 19 | Effects of Sealing Flow Supply Configuration with Holes on Sealing Effectiveness of Turbine Rim Seal显示文摘This paper proposes a new-designed rim seal configuration with sealing holes based on the conventional radial rim seal,and presents a numerical comparison of the sealing performance between the conventional sealing flow supply configuration and the new sealing flow supply configuration with holes at different sealing flow rates.The sealing effectiveness and unsteady flow yields at the rim seal are numerically simulated by using the URANS method and SST turbulent model from ANSYS CFX.The influence of the new sealing flow supply configuration on the sealing effectiveness at different sealing flow rates is determined.The effectiveness of different sealing flow rates in the conventional rim seal is also studied.As to the conventional rim seal,the increase in the sealing flow rate reduces the degree of gas ingestion induced by the effect of mainstream ingress at the rim clearance,while the unsteady flow characteristics are enhanced,and the number and amplitude of the low-frequency signals increase.The position of the Kelvin-Helmholtz instabilities vortex structures is left by the increased sealing flow rate,and its strength is suppressed.Compared with the conventional rim seal configuration,the new sealing flow supply configuration with holes could reduce the sealing efficiency by 5.06%at most at sealing flow distribution m_(1):m_(2)=3:1 when Cw=2000,and improve the sealing efficiency by 11.71%at most at sealing flow distribution m_(1):m_(2)=1:1 when Cw=7500.It shows that the lateral jet from the holes induces a larger-scale Kelvin-Helmholtz vortex structure at Cw=2000,thus the sealing efficiency in the wheel space is also reduced.However,the size of the Kelvin-Helmholtz vortex structures is significantly suppressed by the new sealing flow supply configuration at Cw=7500,which is beneficial to improving the sealing effectiveness of the conventional rim seal. | GAI Zepeng ZHU Pengfei HU Jianping LIU Zhenxia YIN Hang | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,1: | 0 |
