Involvement of carbon monoxide produced by heme oxygenase in ABA-induced stomatal closure in Vicia faba and its proposed signal transduction pathway显示文摘Carbon monoxide (CO) has recently proven to be an important bioactive or signaling molecule in mammalian cells. Its effects are mainly mediated by nitric oxide (NO) and cyclic GMP (cGMP). In Vicia faba leaves, CO production and heme oxygenase (HO) activity, an important CO synthetic enzyme, are first reported to increase in response to ABA treatment, which could result in stomatal closure. Inter- estingly, ABA-induced stomatal closure in V. faba guard cells is partially blocked when the synthetic CO inhibitor ZnPP, or the CO/NO scavenger Hb is added. Furthermore, we show that, exogenously applied CO donor, hematin, and CO aqueous solution not only result in the enhancement of CO release, but also time-dependently induce stomatal closure, and the latter is mimicked by the application of an NO donor SNP. The above-mentioned stomatal closure effects are differentially reversed by the addition of tungstate, a potent inhibitor of NO synthetic enzyme nitrate reductase (NR), the specific NO scavenger cPTIO, ZnPP, or Hb. During treatment for 4 h, SNP, 0.01% CO aqueous solution or hematin significantly triggers NO synthesis, whereas cPTIO, or tungstate approximately fully inhibits NO fluorescence. Ad- ditionally, application of the GC inhibitor ODQ blocks CO-induced stomatal closure. This inhibition could be reversed when 8-Br-cGMP is added. Thus, the above results suggest that CO produced by HO is involved in ABA-induced stomatal closure, and NO and cGMP may function as downstream interme- diates in the CO signaling responsible for stomatal closure. | CAO ZeYu HUANG BenKai WANG QingYa XUAN Wei LING TengFang ZHANG Bo CHEN Xi NIE Li SHEN WenBiaot | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,17: | 16
Paragraph Vector Representation Based on Word to Vector and CNN Learning显示文摘Document processing in natural language includes retrieval, sentiment analysis, theme extraction, etc.Classical methods for handling these tasks are based on models of probability, semantics and networks for machine learning. The probability model is loss of semantic information in essential, and it influences the processing accuracy.Machine learning approaches include supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised approaches, labeled corpora is necessary for semantics model and supervised learning. The method for achieving a reliably labeled corpus is done manually,it is costly and time-consuming because people have to read each document and annotate the label of each document.Recently, the continuous CBOW model is efficient for learning high-quality distributed vector representations, and it can capture a large number of precise syntactic and semantic word relationships, this model can be easily extended to learn paragraph vector, but it is not precise.Towards these problems, this paper is devoted to developing a new model for learning paragraph vector,we combine the CBOW model and CNNs to establish a new deep learning model.Experimental results show that paragraph vector generated by the new model is better than the paragraph vector generated by CBOW model in semantic relativeness and accuracy. | Zeyu Xiong Qiangqiang Shen Yijie Wang Chenyang Zhu | 2018 | Computers, Materials & Continua2018,,5: | 5
High mass loading Ni_(4)Co_(1)-OH@CuO core-shell nanowire arrays obtained by electrochemical reconstruction for alkaline energy storage显示文摘The design of three-dimensional(30)core-shell hetercistructures is an efficient method to achieve high mass specific capacity of electroactive materials under high mass loading. In this work, porous Ni_(4)Co1-0H nanosheets with a mass loading of 7.7 mg·cm^(-2) are obtained by using Ni_(4)Cor(NO_(3))_(2)(0H)_(4) supported on the CuO nanowires as precursors via an unavoidable electrochemically induced phase reconstruction.During the electrochemical reconstruction process, the N03-anions in Ni_(4)Cor(N0_(3))_(2)(0H)_(4) are easily replaced by OH-anions in the electrolyte. The phase reconstruction is accompanied by the decrease of ionic diffusion.:resistance and the increase of pore volume, and the shift of binding energy. The obtained Ni4Co1-0H nanosheets show a high:mass specific capacity of 363.6 mAh·g^(-1) at 5 mA·cm^(-2).The as-fabricated alkaline hybrid supercapacitor and Ni-Zn battery deliver high energy density of 293.1 and 604.9 Wh·kg^(-1),respectively,indicating.excellent alkaline energy storage performance. | Yawei Yu Xiulan Hu Shuai Wang Handan Qiao Zeyu Liu Kefan Song Xiaodong Shen | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,1: | 1
Synchronous Synthesis and Immobilization of Metal Phthalocyanine for Aerobic Oxidation of Styrene显示文摘In this study, the precursor 4-(4-carboxy-phenoxy)phthalonitrile(CPPN)was first bonded onto the silica gel surface modified with poly(glycidyl methacrylate)(PGMA)(PGMA/SiO2)to prepare CPPN-PGMA/SiO2,and metal phthalocyanine(MPc;M=Co,Fe,Cu,Mn)was supported on the PGMA/SiO2 surface to prepare MPc-PGMA/SiO2 by synchronous synthesis and immobilization with phthalonitrile and metal salt in the solution. The chemical composition and surface morphology were characterized by the Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,UV-Vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and thermogravimetry analysis(TGA).The catalytic performance of MPc-PGMA/SiO2 in epoxidation of styrene was also investigated with molecular oxygen acting as the oxidant. The results show that MPc-PGMA/SiO2 can efficiently and selectively catalyze molecular oxygen for oxidation of styrene to styrene oxide under mild conditions. However, the catalytic activity differs substantially depending on the central metal, and a highest catalytic activity is achieved by CoPc-PGMA/SiO2.The CoPc-PGMA/SiO2 amount and temperature can also affect the catalytic oxidation of styrene, and at normal atmospheric pressure,a maximum conversion rate of styrene(99%)and selectivity of styrene oxide(53%)are obtained using 0.1 g of CoPc-PGMA/SiO2(22.61μmol of CoPc)at 100℃ for 6 h.CoPc-PGMA/SiO2 also has excellent reusability, and the conversion rate of styrene is still over 90%after 5 cycles. | Liu Yefeng LüYing Li Zeyu Shen Yue Wang Ruixin | 2020 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,4: | 1

Magnetoresistance anomaly in Fe_(5)GeTe_(2)homo-junctions induced by its intrinsic transition显示文摘Two-dimensional van der Waals(2D vdW)magnets have attracted great attention recently and possess the unprecedented advantages of incorporating high-quality vdW heterostructures and homostructures into spintronic devices, and exploring various physical phenomena or technologies.Among them,Fe_(5)GeTe_(2)(F5GT)has ferromagnetic order close to room temperature, however the magnetic properties near its intrinsic transitions and F5GT-based 2D devices remain mostly unexplored. Here,we systematically demonstrate the peculiar magnetic properties of Fe_(5)GeTe_(2)nanoflakes near its intrinsic transition temperature(Tp)which is far lower than its Curie temperature(TC)of~265 K,and firstly discover anomalous magnetoresistance effect in F5GT homo-junctions by magneto-transport measurements. The strongest anomalous Hall effect occurs around Tp which is located in a temperature range from 130 to 160 K for the F5GT nanoflakes with different thicknesses.Furthermore, negative magnetoresistance(N-MR)and butterfly-shaped magnetoresistance(B-MR)are observed in F5GT homo-junction devices, and they appeared only in an intermediate temperature range from 110 to 160 K,noticeably showing the maxima near the T_(p)rather than the lowest temperature. Our experimental results clearly reveal the significant influence of intrinsic transitions on magnetic properties of F5GT and magnetoresistance effect in F5GT homo-junction devices, which imply a new strategy to achieve highperformance 2D spintronic devices by tuning intrinsic magnetic or structural transitions in 2D vdW magnets. | Ruijie Zhao Yanfei Wu Shaohua Yan Xinjie Liu He Huang Yang Gao Mengyuan Zhu Jianxin Shen Shipeng Shen Weifeng Xu Zeyu Zhang Liyuan Zhang Jingyan Zhang Xinqi Zheng Hechang Lei Ying Zhang Shouguo Wang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0
Issues and strategies of cathode materials for mild aqueous static zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Researchers prefer mild aqueous static zinc-ion batteries(ASZIBs)for their distinct benefits of excellent safety, abundant zinc resources, low cost, and high energy density. However,at the moment there are some issues with the cathode materials of mild ASZIBs,including dissolution,by-products,poor conductivity, and a contentious energy storage system.Consequently, there are numerous difficulties in the development of high-performance mild ASZIBs cathode materials. This overview examines the mechanisms for storing energy and the de-velopments in inorganic, organic, and other novel cathode materials that have emerged in recent years. At the same time, three solutions—structural engineering, interface engineering, and reaction pathway engineering—as well as the difficulties now faced by the cathode materials of mild ASZIBs are forcefully introduced. Finally,a prospect is made regarding the evolution of cathode materials in the future. | Wei Zhong Jiahui Zhang Zongmiao Li Zeyu Shen Shichao Zhang Xinyang Wang Yingying Lu | 2023 | Green Chemical Engineering2023,4,3: | 0
New treatment for osteoarthritis:Gene therapy显示文摘Osteoarthritis is a complex degenerative disease that affects the entire joint tissue.Currently,non-surgical treatments for osteoarthritis focus on relieving pain. While end-stage osteoarthritis can be treated with arthroplasty, the health and financial costs associated with surgery have forced the search for alternative non-surgical treatments to delay the progression of osteoarthritis and promote cartilage repair.Unlike traditional treatment, the gene therapy approach allows for long-lasting expression of therapeutic proteins at specific sites. In this review,we summarize the history of gene therapy in osteoarthritis, outlining the common expression vectors(non-viral,viral),the genes delivered(transcription factors, growth factors,inflammation-associated cytokines,non-coding RNAs)and the mode of gene delivery(direct delivery, indirect delivery). We highlight the application and development prospects of the gene editing technology CRISPR/Cas9 in osteoarthritis. Finally,we identify the current problems and possible solutions in the clinical translation of gene therapy for osteoarthritis. | Xinyu Li Leyao Shen Zhenghan Deng Zeyu Huang | 2023 | Precision Clinical Medicine2023,6,2: | 0
Tribological performance and scuffing behaviors of several automobile piston rings mating with chrome-plated cylinder liner显示文摘The friction and wear properties,as well as the scuffing resistance,of different piston-ring coatings mating with a chrome-plated cylinder liner were investigated.Interrupted wear tests under the lubricant starvation condition were conducted to examine the wear behavior of Cr-diamond coating(GDC)and diamond-like coating(DLC).The results indicated that the DLC coating had outstanding tribological properties(small coefficient of friction and wear loss)at 150°C,while the GDC coating exhibited better performance at an elevated temperature(240°C).The DLC coating had a better scuffing resistance;no material adhesion occurred for 70 min under the unlubricated condition. The interrupted wear behaviors revealed that the scuffing process of the GDC coating involved the consumption of lubricant oil with relatively stable wear,a reduction in the friction force, and the occurrence of scuffing,in sequence. In contrast, although the friction force also increased after a short period of weak friction,no scuffing was observed. This is attributed to the formation of a mixed oxide and graphitic C tribolayer. | Zeyu MA Ruoxuan HUANG Xiaoshuai YUAN Yan SHEN Jiujun XU | 2022 | Friction2022,10,8: | 0
A K^(+)-sensitive AND-gate dual-mode probe for simultaneous tumor imaging and malignancy identification显示文摘Although molecular imaging probes have the potential to non-invasively diagnose a tumor, imaging probes that can detect a tumor and simultaneously identify tumor malignancy remain elusive. Here,we demonstrate a potassium ion(K^(+))sensitive dual-mode nanoprobe(KDMN)for non-invasive tumor imaging and malignancy identification, which operates via a cascaded‘AND’logic gate controlled by inputs of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and fluorescence imaging(FI)signals. We encapsulate commercial K^(+)indicators into the hollow cavities of magnetic mesoporous silica nanoparticles, which are subsequently coated with a K^(+)-selective membrane that exclusively permits the passage of K^(+)while excluding other cations. The KDMN can readily accumulate in tumors and enhance the MRI contrast after systemic administration.Spatial information of the tumor lesion is thus accessible via MRI and forms the first layer of the‘AND’gate.Meanwhile, the KDMN selectively captures K^(+)and prevents interference from other cations, triggering a K^(+)-activated FI signal as the second layer of the‘AND’gate in the case of a malignant tumor with a high extracellular K^(+)level. This dual-mode imaging approach effectively eliminates false positive or negative diagnostic results and allows for non-invasive imaging of tumor malignancy with high sensitivity and accuracy. | Qiyue Wang Fangyuan Li Zeyu Liang Hongwei Liao Bo Zhang Peihua Lin Xun Liu Shen Hu Jiyoung Lee Daishun Ling | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,7: | 0
Profiling proteomic responses to hexokinase-II depletion in terpene-producing Saccharomyces cerevisiae显示文摘Hexokinase II(Hxk2)is a master protein in glucose-mediated transcriptional repression signaling pathway.De-grading Hxk2 through an auxin-inducible protein degradation previously doubled sesquiterpene(nerolidol)pro-duction at gram-per-liter levels in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.Global transcriptomics/proteomics profiles in Hxk2-deficient background are important to understanding genetic and molecular mechanisms for improved nerolidol production and guiding further strain optimization. Here, proteomic responses to Hxk2 depletion are investi-gated in the yeast strains harboring a GAL promoters-controlled nerolidol synthetic pathway,at the exponential and ethanol growth phases and in GAL80-wildtype and gal80Δbackgrounds.Carbon metabolic pathways and amino acid metabolic pathways show diversified responses to Hxk2 depletion and growth on ethanol, including upregulation of alternative carbon catabolism and respiration as well as downregulation of amino acid synthesis.De-repression of GAL genes may contribute to improved nerolidol production in Hxk2-depleted strains.Seven-teen transcription factors associated with upregulated genes are enriched.Validating Ash1-mediated repression on the RIM4 promoter shows the variation on the regulatory effects of different Ash1-binding sites and the syner-gistic effect of Ash1 and Hxk2-mediated repression.Further validation of individual promoters shows that HXT1 promoter activities are glucose-dependent in hxk2Δbackground,but much weaker than those in HXK2-wildtype background. In summary, inactivating HXK2 may relieve glucose repression on respiration and GAL promoters for improved bioproduction under aerobic conditions in S.cerevisiae.The proteomics profiles provide a better genetics overview for a better metabolic engineering design in Hxk2-deficient backgrounds. | Zeyu Lu Qianyi Shen Lian Liu Gert Talbo Robert Speight Matt Trau Geoff Dumsday Christopher B.Howard Claudia E.Vickers Bingyin Peng | 2023 | Engineering Microbiology2023,3,3: | 0
Channel-Feedback-Free Transmission for Downlink FD-RAN:A Radio Map Based Complex-Valued Precoding Network Approach显示文摘As the demand for high-quality services proliferates,an innovative network architecture, the fully-decoupled RAN(FD-RAN),has emerged for more flexible spectrum resource utilization and lower network costs. However, with the decoupling of uplink base stations and downlink base stations in FDRAN,the traditional transmission mechanism, which relies on real-time channel feedback,is not suitable as the receiver is not able to feedback accurate and timely channel state information to the transmitter. This paper proposes a novel transmission scheme without relying on physical layer channel feedback.Specifically,we design a radio map based complex-valued precoding network(RMCPNet)model, which outputs the base station precoding based on user location.RMCPNet comprises multiple subnets, with each subnet responsible for extracting unique modal features from diverse input modalities.Furthermore, the multimodal embeddings derived from these distinct subnets are integrated within the information fusion layer, culminating in a unified representation. We also develop a specific RMCPNet training algorithm that employs the negative spectral efficiency as the loss function. We evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme on the public DeepMIMO dataset and show that RMCPNet can achieve 16%and 76%performance improvements over the conventional real-valued neural network and statistical codebook approach, respectively. | Zhao Jiwei Chen Jiacheng Sun Zeyu Shi Yuhang Zhou Haibo Xuemin(Sherman)Shen | 2024 | China Communications2024,21,4: | 0
