1A new type of leak-floor flip bucket显示文摘Flip buckets are commonly used to discharge flow away from a hydraulic structure into the downstream to dissipate energy.A new leak-floor flip bucket is presented,making the ski-jump water jet a typical long-narrow nappe.Based on the model experiments and numerical simulation,the flow pattern,formation process and mechanism of the leak-floor flip bucket are studied.The results show that cross section flow shape develops from the'Y-type'to'|-type',and this is because the natural pressure difference is generated when water flows through the leak-floor area and moves transversely from both sides to the center.Different from the slit-type flip bucket with sidewall contraction,the leak-floor flit bucket makes the water jet narrow and long without high pressure on the side walls of the flip bucket.Under the same jet length condition,the maximum sidewall pressure of the slit-type is 4.67 times that of the leak-floor flip bucket.The effects of flow discharge on the jet length are less significant for the leak-floor bucket than for the slit-type bucket.DENG Jun YANG ZhengLi TIAN Zhong ZHANG FaXing WEI WangRu YOU Xiang XU WeiLin 2016Science China(Technological Sciences)2016,59,4:15
2Cavitation characteristics of pit structure in ultrasonic field显示文摘Bubble collecting, bubble holding and micro-bubble ejecting characteristics of pit structure and the influence of cavitation bubble on the development of erosion pit are investigated by means of highspeed photography experiments. Pits tend to collect and hold wandering cavitation bubbles. The air holding phenomenon of pits can be a destination of the incubation period in the process of cavitation erosion. The holding bubble tends to eject micro-bubbles from the top of holding cavitation bubble, making the pit a source of nuclei. With bubbles being held in pits, the diameters of pits increase rapidly. But in the given experiment condition, there is a specific stable value beyond which the diameter of pits will not increase. 3Genetic variations of glycinin subunit genes among cultivated and wild type soybean species显示文摘Glycinin is a predominant storage protein in most soybean accessions. It is a hexamer constituted by five major subunits, which can be classified into two groups. Group I contains G1, G2 and G3, and Group II contains G4 and G5. The genes encoding these subunits have been designated from Gy1 to Gy5, respectively. In the present study, Gy1 genomic fragments were cloned from wild accessions of sub- genera Glycine glycine, Glycine soja and a cultivar of Glycine max. Their sequences and the deduced amino acid sequences were com- pared. The residues critical for assembling of G1 subunits from the wild perennial accession were conservative. The Gy4 fragments were cloned from two wild perennial accessions and compared with that from subgenus Soja. The intron 3 of Gy4 had abundant vari- ations between the subgenera G. soja and G. glycine as well as within the subgenus G. glycine. Abundant variations existed in the dis- ordered regions 3 and 4 of G4 subunits from two wild perennial accessions. The genomic organization of glycinin genes was analyzed in 19 accessions from subgenera Soja and Glycine. The hybridization patterns were identical among the accessions of subgenus Soja. On the contrary, abundant polymorphisms existed between the accessions from subgenus Glycine. 4A novel bioactive polyurethane with controlled degradation and L-Arg release used as strong adhesive tissue patch for hemostasis and promoting wound healing显示文摘Effective strategy of hemostasis and promoting angiogenesis are becoming increasingly urgent in modern medicine due to millions of deaths caused by tissue damage and inflammation. The tissue adhesive has been favored as an optimistic and efficient path to stop bleeding, while, current adhesive presents limitations on wound care or potential degradation safety in clinical practice. Therefore, it is of great clinical significance to construct multifunctional wound adhesive to address the issues. Based on pro-angiogenic property of L-Arginine (L-Arg), in this study, the novel tissue adhesive (G-DLPUs) constructed by L-Arg-based degradable polyurethane (DLPU) and GelMA were prepared for wound care. After systematic characterization, we found that the G-DLPUs were endowed with excellent capability in shape-adaptive adhesion. Moreover, the L-Arg released and the generation of NO during degradation were verified which would enhance wound healing. Following the in vivo biocompatibility was verified, the hemostatic effect of the damaged organ was tested using a rat liver hemor-rhage model, from which reveals that the G-DLPUs can reduce liver bleeding by nearly 75% and no obvious inflammatory cells observed around the tissue. Moreover, the wound care effect was confirmed in a mouse full-thickness skin defect model, showing that the hydrogel adhesive significantly improves the thickness of newly formed dermis and enhance vascularization (CD31 staining). 9Rice receptor-like kinase OsSI-RLK2 inhibits internode elongation显示文摘Receptor-like kinase participates in the early events of plant signal transduction pathways. Previously, we screened the receptor-like kinase genes in rice and performed phylogenetic analyses. In this study, we isolated a receptor-like kinase gene, OsSI-RLK2, from rice. Expression of OsSI-RLK2 was induced by ABA treatment. In vitro analysis indicates that OsSI-RLK2 has Mn2+ dependent autophosphorylation activity, but does not have this activity in the presence of Ca2+ and Mg2+. Transgenic rice with over-expressed OsSI-RLK2 displayed shortened internodes resulting in a dwarf phenotype. 10Free-surface air entrainment in open-channel flows显示文摘In hydraulic engineering,free-surface aeration is a natural phenomenon occurring in smooth channel flows.In self-aerated flows,a key aspect that has not yet been well understood is the formation mechanism of free-surface air entrainment.In this research,the process of free-surface entrapped deformation is analyzed theoretically and the critical radius of curvature for air entrainment is obtained,affected by flow mean velocity and depth.When the severity of local free-surface deformation exceeds the critical condition,the entrapped free surface encounters closure in the unstable deformation movement process,resulting in air entrainment.This inference agrees well with observed experimental results that are obtained from the processes of surface entrapped deformation and air entrainment captured by a high-speed camera-based data acquisition system.This agreement indicates that self-aeration occurs in low-velocity open-channel flows.It is also confirmed that free-surface turbulent deformation provides a mechanism for air entrainment.WEI WangRu XU WeiLin DENG Jun TIAN Zhong ZHANG FaXing 2017Science China(Technological Sciences)2017,60,6:0
