2Water transfer characteristics during methane hydrate formation and dissociation processes inside saturated sand显示文摘Gas hydrates formation and dissociation processes inside porous media are always accompanied by water transfer behavior, which is similar to the water behavior of ice freezing and thawing processes. These processes have been studied by many researchers, but all the studies are so far on the water transfer characteristics outside porous media and the water transfer characteristics inside porous media have been little known. In this study, in order to study the water transfer characteristics inside porous media during methane hydrate formation and dissociation processes, a novel apparatus with three pF-meter sensors which can detect water content changes inside porous media was applied. 3Effects of Temperature Gradient and Cooling Rate on the Formation of Methane Hydrates in Coarse Sand显示文摘Temperature gradient and cooling rate have an obvious effect on formation of methane hydrate. The process for formation of methane hydrate in coarse sand is monitored to understand the relationship between temperature gradient and cooling rate and nucleation, growth and distribution of methane hydrate by using the electrical resistivity method. The results show that the change of resistivity can better reflect the nucleation and growth and distribution of methane hydrate. Temperature gradient promotes the nucleation, formation, and formation rate of methane hydrate. At a temperature gradient of 0.11 ℃/cm, the rate of methane hydrate formation and saturation reaches a maximum. Cooling rate has little effect on the methane hydrate formation process. Judging from the outcome of final spatial distribution of methane hydrate, the cooling rate has an obvious but irregular effect in coarse sand. The effect of temperature gradient on distribution of methane hydrate in coarse sand is less than that of cooling rate. At a temperature gradient of 0.07 ℃/cm, methane hydrate is distributed uniformly in the sample. 4Water transfer characteristics in the vertical direction during methane hydrate formation and dissociation processes inside non-saturated media显示文摘In order to study water transfer characteristics inside non-saturated media during methane hydrate formation and dissociation processes,water changes on the top,middle and bottom locations of experimental media during the reaction processes were continuously followed with a novel apparatus with three pF-meter sensors.Coarse sand,fine sand and loess were chosen as experimental media.It was experimentally observed that methane hydrate was easier formed inside coarse sand and fine sand than inside loess.Methane hydrate formation configuration and water transfer characteristics during methane hydrate formation processes were very different among the different non-saturated media,which were important for understanding methane hydrate formation and dissociation mechanism inside sediments in nature.Peng Zhang Qingbai Wu Guanli Jiang Jing Zhan Yingmei Wang 2010Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2010,19,2:2

6Relation between soil matrix potential changes and water conversion ratios during methane hydrate formation processes in loess显示文摘With a new apparatus designed and assembled by ourselves, the matrix potential of non-saturated loess was firstly measured and studied during methane hydrate formation processes. The experimental results showed that during two formation processes, the matrix potential changes of the loess all presented a good linear relationship with water conversion ratios. 10Effect of Penetration Rates on the Piezocone Penetration Test in the Yellow River Delta Silt显示文摘Partial drainage often occurs during piezocone penetration testing on Yellow River Delta silt because of its intermediate physical and mechanical properties between those of sand and clay.Yet,there is no accurate understanding for the range of penetra-tion rates to trigger the partial drainage of silt soils.In order to fully investigate cone penetration rate effects under partial drainage condi-tions,indoor 1 g penetration model tests and numerical simulations of cavity expansion at variable penetration rates were carried out on the Yellow River Delta silt.The boundary effect of the model tests and the variation of key parameters at the different cavity ex-pansion rates were analyzed.The 1 g penetration model test results and numerical simulations results consistently indicated that the penetration rate to trigger the partially drainage of typical silt varied at least three orders of magnitude.The numerical simulations also provide the reference values for the penetration resistance corresponding to zero dilation and zero viscosity at any given normalized penetration rate for silt in Yellow River Delta.These geotechnical properties can be used for the design of offshore platforms in Yel-low River Delta,and the understanding of cone penetration rate effects under the partially drained conditions would provide some technical support for geohazard evaluation of offshore platforms.ZHANG Jiarui MENG Qingsheng ZHANG Yan FENG Xiuli WEI Guanli SU Xiuting LIU Tao 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,2:1
11Dihydrocelastrol induces antitumor activity and enhances the sensitivity of bortezomib in resistant multiple myeloma by inhibiting STAT3-dependent PSMB5 regulation显示文摘Multiple myeloma(MM)is characterized by excessive aggregation of B-cell-derived malignant plasma cells in the hematopoietic system of bone marrow.Previously,we synthesized an innovative molecule named dihydrocelastrol(DHCE)from celastrol,a triterpene purified from medicinal plant Tripterygium wilfordii.Herein,we explore the therapeutic properties and latent signal transduction mechanism of DHCE action in bortezomib(BTZ)-resistant(BTZ-R)MM cells.In this study,we first report that DHCE shows antitumor activities in vitro and in vivo and exerts stronger inhibitory effects than celastrol on BTZ-R cells.We find that DHCE inhibits BTZ-R cell viability by promoting apoptosis via extrinsic and intrinsic pathways and suppresses BTZ-R MM cell proliferation by inducing G0/G1 phase cell cycle arrest.In addition,inactivation of JAK2/STAT3 and PI3K/Akt pathways are involved in the DHCE-mediated antitumor effect.Simultaneously,DHCE acts synergistically with BTZ on BTZ-R cells.PSMB5,a molecular target of BTZ,is overexpressed in BTZ-R MM cells compared with BTZ-S MM cells and is demonstrated to be a target of STAT3.Moreover,DHCE downregulates PSMB5 overexpression in BTZ-R MM cells,which illustrates that DHCE overcomes BTZ resistance through increasing the sensitivity of BTZ in resistant MM via inhibiting STAT3-dependent PSMB5 regulation.Overall,our findings imply that DHCE may become a potential therapeutic option that warrants clinical evaluation for BTZ-R MM.Shuhan Jin Bo Li Bibo Zhang Xuejie Gao Xinyan Jia Li Xu Shuaikang Chang Ke Hu Guanli Wang Zhijian Xu Ting Zhang Dongliang Song Guang Yang Xiaosong Wu Huabin Zhu Cheng Huang Yumeng Lu Jumei Shi Weiliang Zhu Gege Chen 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,12:0
12A case study on the soil classification of the Yellow River Delta based on piezocone penetration test显示文摘Piezocone penetration test(CPTu),the preferred in-situ tool for submarine investigation,is significant for soil classification and soil depth profile prediction,which can be used to predict soil types and states.However,the accuracy of these methods needs to be validated for local conditions.To distinguish and evaluate the properties of the shallow surface sediments in Chengdao area of the Yellow River Delta,seabed CPTu tests were carried out at ten stations in this area.Nine soil classification methods based on CPTu data are applied for soil classification.The results of classification are compared with the in-situ sampling to determine whether the method can provide sufficient resolution.The methods presented by Robertson(based on soil behavior type index Ic),Olsen and Mitchell are the more consistent and compatible ones compared with other methods.Considering that silt soils have potential to liquefy under storm tide or other adverse conditions,this paper is able to screen soil classification methods suitable for the Chengdao area and help identify the areas where liquefaction or submarine landslide may occur through CPTu investigation.Jiarui Zhang Qingsheng Meng Lei Guo Yan Zhang Guanli Wei Tao Liu 2022Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,4:0
